Byodo-In Temple is one of the top Oahu tourist attractions. Located in the Valley of the Temples, the shrine was built on June 7, 1968, to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of Japanese immigration to Hawaii. Despite being a non-practicing temple, it is a beautiful setting for meditation.

Visitors to Oahu should not miss this Buddhist temple. Located just a 30-minute drive from Honolulu, this temple is among the top attractions on the island. The temple is located in a quiet valley and offers a peaceful atmosphere.

Another top destination on the island of Oahu is the Polynesian Cultural Center. The center is comprised of six villages that represent different Pacific Island nations.
