Show Nynaeve, maximum braid <3 The book version definitely speaks to the determined and lovingly combative image I always had of the character, but this one I think is my favorite of the ones I've done so far and I really loved the braid-of-braids style they gave her on the show. Like, "this character's braid is iconic, you say? Hold our beer."

So often women are told to suppress their anger. We are stereotyped as rude, belligerent, & confrontational for showing it. It's why Nynaeve is so empowering. She feels her emotions incredibly deeply. I love Nynaeve for her empathy & compassion, but also for her righteous justified rage.

Just realized that Nynaeve from Wheel of Time is basically the Incredible Hulk if he was a woman with magic powers.

-She needs to get angry to use her powers.

-She initially has a great dislike for her new powers.

-She works as an academic/researcher/medical professional when not in Angry Superpower mode.

So plotwise, Nynaeve couldn’t channel in the finale bc if she did she would outshine Rand right? Like she would have just yeeted Ishmael right over the side of that tower.

Also we were clearly being set up for that Elayne Jesus shot and her healing Rand makes sense for that (no I haven’t read the books yet but I’ve heard things)

Anyway I know ppl are upset about Nyn not channeling and I admit it felt a little weird but I’m 100% sure it’s leading up to an even more epic moment when she does
