You know, he will never have to address this. He fucked off to NYC to live in the artisan district as a sabbatical with no social media. Like he will never be back. Then his stupid little bad will play at Coachella
i mean, yeah, he's probably never going to say anything. the nature of the stream as it exists hardly makes me think that he's going to say anything, even - shubble very intentionally was not framing that as a direct accusation, for her own sake. people will have to make their own decisions as fans and some of them are going to choose to stay because they're waiting for more information that may or may not ever come, because they want to support him despite the information that's come out, what have you. that's their independent decisions to make, honestly.
as for me? frankly, i have zero interest in watching him flay himself alive in the public eye as atonement. if he ever makes a statement about this situation, that's his right, but i don't particularly care either way. if he's off social media...good? i mean, genuinely. good. i think it's evident that he's aware of certain patterns of behavior from himself and desires for those to change, so i hope that he has those support system and gets that help in his private life so he doesn't continue to hurt people (others and himself). as far as he goes as a content creator, mostly i worry about the massive amount of social power that he's had handed to him when he's mishandled the power that he's had before, so him being off social media and out of the public eye is a good thing? he doesn't answer to us. the personal relationships that he had that allowed him to hurt people close to him are not really issues to do with us, the audience - and evidently those issues are largely being handled out of our eyes. he's mentioned getting therapy, and i hope he continues to get it! i hope that it proves helpful to him!
like, i understand your discomfort anon, and frankly i'll also have certain Thoughts And Concerns if/when he comes back either as a content creator or as a band, but at this point all i can say is he's off social media for the time being, good, i hope he gets the help he obviously needs and i wish the best for shelby in her career and her personal life in the meantime even more.
