What an AMAZING day! We cleaned out and organized the house (symbolising out with the old), we had a huge feast last night that came with so many blessings. Today is Rosh Hashanah. For those who don't know what that means, it's God's new year. Why in fall and in the harvest season? Because it means the old has dropped away and the feasting season has started (and it's it's a time to enjoy the fruit of your hard work). This morning I'm having a New Year's bfast bowl. Day 1 after chemo. I'm thankful for the energy to spend just a few hours with my love, Ben Smith . He was patient with me. Now it's bed rest for a while and then I have a HUGE batch of seafood stew to cook up with @hello_world_7777 , Chris' help. I don't know what I would do without my family's help, support, and love. I'm truly blessed beyond on measure. Santioni's Italian Restaurant at 3535 US-17, Fleming Island, FL 32003. Best Italian food in the OP, Middleburg and Jacksonville area hands down. Huge portions. I took almost all of mine home. I got the shrimp and scallop pasta. So I got one hour of sleep last night 👎. Inspite of being sleep deprived, I chose to get up, get dressed and spend the day with my daughter. I have several water containers as most ppl know but this is my favorite by far. By 11am this morning I drank 82oz of water💧💦. Kept down breakfast. So we went to one of our favorite places (Southern Crossing), lunch, shopped, had dinner together and then head home to get ready for tomorrow. We both didn't feel good but we made the most of the day and had a great time. Life is short. Monday mash up. I knocked out chemo and went till 8pm on my own before I crashed 💪. Now it's rest and repair 🥴🙌. Lunch salad after chemo. Sonny's for dinner which is a major rare eat. Great way to cook up some left overs. Took some fresh garlic, some beef broth and a drained can of corn. Cooked it up in a skillet. Then cut up some produce that needed to be used. Celery, sweet peppers, red onion, mushrooms. Added some white pepper, pinch of hickory salt and some left over grilled steak. Made some quinoa. Boom, healthy quinoa bowl. I have avacado but forgot it 🤦♀️😜. I prepped, cooked, and cleaned all by myself with no help. Stressful Drs appt Tuesday but everything worked out. As for my energy level? I felt horrible due to chemo but I took advantage of my day and spent some time with my daughter.
