OH MY GOD this is super late sorry but huntlow thoughts time!

When I first watched ASIAS i was Eh about the huntlow ship. This was the first willow centric episode since Understanding Willow and she was barely in the 2nd season.

I wanted Willow to get more character development without immediately giving her a love interest (especially the angsty character), and I didn't think that Hunter should be in a relationship. I was scared that the fandom would end up ignoring their character developments (especially willow's) for romance.

But as the show progressed, and I saw more and more fanart about them, i slowly warmed up to the ship.

I really liked how huntlow was handled in s3, even if the season was short. The way they ended up canon was nice as well, I was scared that they would just kiss or confess their love somehow but the handholding was just genuinely adorable.

Do I wish willow and hunter were given more time to develop separately and as a couple? Yes. But that's Disney's fault, and they did as best as they could

Okay so...

I would say my existence in the SCP fandom lasted from 2014 to around 2018 or 2019. I appreciated the History of the Universe pages and the fact that the main drama from before my time was laid out for me to read and understand, because you know what, I’m curious. If there’s something wrong with that, then let me be wrong. Anyway, the biggest clusterfuck that happened during my time on the site was the homophobic ripoff wiki or whatever, as far as I’m aware at least. Since I stopped hanging around there, though, apparently things have gone straight-up batshit more than once, and I’m only just finding out about some of it now. HoTU isn’t updated anymore (which makes sense as it is tangentially related to one of the big trash fires that sprang up at some point, though I really had to go digging to figure that out), but as of yesterday I’ve been pointed in the direction of where these things get explained nowadays (and I gotta say, I still really appreciate that there are people out there explaining this shit so I can know, cause as I said, I’m curious).

And a part of me is just thinking, through all this, that I still really fucking miss the scpmafia channel on IRC.

Why do people keep saying that Tanjirou vs. Upper Moon Six is the best fight in the series? There were no stakes! I don't know about the manga, but it's where the anime jumped the shark!

They dragged out a fight where nothing the protagonists did mattered for multiple episodes. Inosuke surviving a stab to the heart by pulling heretofore unmentioned organ-moving abilities out of his ass erases any sense of danger for the core four. Not only did this fight descend into pure unabashed Plot Armor vs. Plot Armor by the end, but the animators gave up on putting the fight in a physical space and Tanjirou and Gyutaro spent the last episode floating over a rapidly moving plane in suggestion of a background.

Making Tanjirou's inner monologue the Pokemon red health noise doesn't add any tension when he gets back up at half health every time the plot needs him to. He can literally destroy every skeletal muscle in his body to the point it's physically impossible for him to move an inch, and then magically stand back up and keep fighting because the party just got wiped but the bad guys are still slated to take the L. Tanjirou going "oh no my stamina bar is almost empty" is the shounen battle manga equivalent of lighting a sign to prompt the studio audience of a sitcom to laugh. Chew your fingernails now, please.

In conclusion, Daki and Gyutaro are badly-executed plot armor villains who should have either died one of the first five times the protagonists earned it, or won.
