I keep seeing people mention in the inbox that they're unsure if a character has been done before (which is fine!) but if you want to check, you can type any name the character has gone by in the search function of my blog and the post should come up if it exists. If I forgot a name in the tags or they got a new name in a recent book, feel free to shoot me an ask about it.

As a side note, I may also add any current and past group affiliations to old posts so they can be sorted by allegiance too.

My apologies for how extended my hiatus has become.

My first priority in life right now is college. That hasn't changed. I started making sprite edits again as something creative to do when I had some free time.

Unfortunately, a mere two weeks into the semester, there was a death in my family.

In late 2021, one of my grandparents passed away. I was not very close to them, but I still grieved. Only a little over a year later, in early 2023, one of the two grandparents that I was actually close to died.

I attended my first funeral earlier this month. I've been having dreams at random that involve that grandparent showing up as a ghost and causing shenanigans ever since.

The parent whose grandparent was one of their parents is devastated by this. In a cruel twist of irony, the remaining grandparent's birthday was in the same week as the death of their spouse. Not to mention that my parent's birthday was earlier that same month.

I am currently weeks behind in some classes and barely scraping together work on time in the classes that have shown me less mercy with due dates.

So... yeah. It will be a while before I can post stuff again. I may also focus more on non-Homestuck original species after I get my creativity free time back. It's a shame that I never finished my canon resprites before I had to basically abandon this blog.

I've been thinking this over, and I was initially unsure because these trolls (well, some of them) DO have attached lore/stories that I have in mind for them

Buuut I figured, why not, if you want to use these trolls for whatever project, go right ahead! You're free to disregard their "canon" personalities if you do, just have fun

I'm more confused about what a planchette is

A planchette is that smaller board that you use with an Ouija board :) The one that moves from letter to letter. Both Rami's weapon AND symbol is a planchette.

It's probably not the best weapon, since it's very very small and not even sharp, but she'll find a way to make it deadly. I imagine she either wields one single planchette like a dagger orrrr she can duplicate it to make a lot of planchettes that she uses like throwing knives. Maybe both?
