om gee you laughs you poor silly little creature rambling under the cut yippiee yippiee yay yay yippieee woo yahoo yay wooo yay yippiee tw for uhh mushrooms and spores and zombies(infected)

OK SO like hahaha laughs giggles folds my hands Sporeadical Mechanisms is a TLoU based Au!!! (tlou means the last of us) i am trying not to spoiler so many things grrgrgrgrgr Within my au, the main storyline will (sort of) follow that of the game(s). Some aspects will be different, including the main character(YN) not having a father figure(like joel for ellie in the game) and instead will be traveling with the DCA after finding them!!!! Currently, they(YN, sun&moon,) are trapped in the pizzaplex, the glamrocks no where to be found and sadly DJ music man is deactivated(dead) under a pile of rubble, and this area is also where they find purchase to rest for the night(after moon tells YN to go to sleep of course) YN doesn't trust the DCA, and even has plans of leaving them as soon as they find an exit to the pizzaplex. The reason being! YN just doesn't want to go through what they already experienced in the past. anywayyy snickers the DCA are infact missing an arm!!! and for good reason:) You keep their severed arm("just in case they want it back when we part ways...") in your bag, along with all your other valuables(guns, raw materials, medkits, molotovs etc...) They also are coated in fungi, be it spores or what one would see on infected(runners, clickers, etc...) one of their eyes is also broken, meaning their sight is a little bad(might come into play...smiles) they often,(when alone,) speak into the air, as if trying to talk to the fungi on their casing. why? well when YN found them, unfortunately, they were surrounded by child infected. After the children had no where to go, they wandered, runners, clickers, stalkers... they all found sun and moon. a dying memory. Just because they were infected, didn't mean they still had their memories, so on their deathbed, many of them lay curled up beside a deactivated(not dead!) Sun, and doing so caused spores to infect their room and sprout on both the dca and their surroundings(where they sat, turned off) Of course, YN had to pick either to survive against child clickers, or... i won't spoil anything more that i haven't already written in my fic<3

Just finished watching KFP 3 and what the fuck, ain't no way Po hasn't become infatuated by Tigress by that point.

"Oh, you're so handsome!" - Po, acting as Tigress speaking to Po.

I still stand by my interpretation that there is no romantic feelings between them in the first and second movie, including LoA, despite how much the Dreamworks IG account memes about this moment... (it was only once but still. the fact that it was once is enough for me to consider it "much")

HOWEVER, I am totally down for Po starting to develop romantic attraction for Tigress by the third movie.

(I'm only considering Legends of Awesomeness canon for the sake of relationship development between the Furious Five and Po taking place before the second movie. It supposedly takes place after KFP 2, but the character writing says otherwise, including the lack of mentioning defeating Shen. The battle against Shen was only mentioned once, when the battle with Ke-Pa happened. Compare that to the amount of time Tai-Lung was mentioned and the series airing DAYS after KFP 2 premiered. A lot of the character writing in the show gives off Kung Fu Panda 1 vibes. I won't consider the entire thing canon to my vision, such as "Bride of Po" and "The Midnight Stranger.)

I personally think Po would be at the stage that he isn't aware of his feelings but he definitely is interested in her. These feelings could simply be brushed off as "Omg, she's so cool!" energy. Notice how he acts with Mei Mei, who flirts with him nonstop. The guy is weirded out and has no idea of what she's doing. Fucking clueless guy.

As for Tigress? I think right after this scene:

And it would go the same way for her too. She'd had no idea. (*punts every LoA episode where Tigress is depicted as having a crush and she's completely OCC*)

Especially ones that are as big as a house or smth.

Being lifted up by that gigantic hand and slid into the metallic interior of their mouth, only to be gulped down, and fall into their tank. Gentle lights glowing on the walls of the tank.

I like it when the tank is spacious enough to hold multiple prey without them being squished against eachother.

Just chilling together with a few people/ or alone inside their tank.

Or a few more unwilling scenarios like:

Suddenly being lifted off the ground by a giant robot and gulped down out of nowhere. (Maybe it's for protection or maybe the robot keeps the prey captive)

(If prey is a cyborg or a smaller robot) The prey groans in annoyance, the pred has nommed them out of nowhere once again. The pred excuses that as 'needing their energy' because they're 'low on fuel'. The prey reclines against the walls of the tank, guess they have to wait until the pred lets them out..

I am given to believe, although I’ve not seen anything much due to Tumblr’s wonderful curation model, that some folk are complaining about CR 3 ep 33.

And I just have to say that I’m sorry for all those folk who aren’t having a good time.

Because I am having an AMAZING time. Like, there is something fantastic about realising that you are the target audience, and babes, I am right in the firing line for this one.

Over the last few days I have been VIBRATING. I am THRIVING. Every day I watch the end of the episode around 10 times at the least and love it more every single time - eating up the expressions, the breathing, the gasps, the body acting. It hurts. It hurts so much but in that wonderful sweet/sour way that good angst has. The ‘is she your favourite’ and Imogen’s breakdown that follows is the MOST satisfying of tropes - of love being spilled out and weaponised, and I am absolutely living for it.

I guess it’s something about how polarising some things are. For me, this is possibly The Best episode of Critical Role I’ve ever seen. The fact it hasn’t left me for four days and counting speaks to that.

I dunno, I don’t really have wisdom about this. I just wanted to share how very very much I am loving this ride, with all it’s attendant pain. I have never longed for Thursday to come more than this.

PS - on reflection, the fact that A Crown of Candy is by far my favourite Dimension 20 show probably says something about my nature and what really floats my boat. I write fluff, I LIVE for angst. That’s how it goes.
