I wanted to know if there was art of Nocticula as the Redeemer Queen and THERE IS! Holy shit, look at her. Absolutely stunning. 😍

Nocticula: I am the queen of darkness, I am the blade in the shadows. I am Evil with a capital E. I will never be good or righteous and nobody can change my evil ways, nor do I want them too.
Ember: You're talking a lot of shit for somebody in Found Family'ing distance.

How do you feel about Gorum dying?
-------
Ambivalent! A sentiment I feel that Paizo might share, and which may have guided the decision.
In my mind, he was one of the "safest" options to kill off; he's connected to no overarching storyline (with his faith's most recent in-story appearance involving his followers losing), has no particular big plots or far-reaching schemes I'm aware of, and most damningly he doesn't have a web of relationships like many of the other gods (and as of 2e Gods and Magic, his list of "allies" is empty), leaving few to mourn his fall in any particular way that will cause any of the other gods to change dramatically.
The results of him dying and spreading Mythic power all over the world will do more to change the setting than the fact he died; there's almost none who will put flowers on his grave, yet the new vacancy among the core gods and his titanic inheritance will most assuredly cause a stir. I almost feel bad for Our Lord in Iron, but I'm sure, in some fashion, he would be proud to know that his death is going to cause a cosmic war!

I don't think I'm playing the same game as everyone else anymore.
Anyways this is how the meeting with Areelu and Nocticula in Act 4 went for Aurien. Their playthrough is far removed from game canon at this point.

Not-so-nice OC asks - loaded ones for Cleo:
betrayal: Has your OC ever been betrayed by someone they thought they could trust? Has your OC ever betrayed someone who trusted them?
future: What's the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it's a possibility?
ha thank you!
betrayal: Has your OC ever been betrayed by someone they thought they could trust? Has your OC ever betrayed someone who trusted them?
a very loaded question indeed! yes, of course- she considered what Galfrey did at the end of Act 3 to be a huge betrayal, especially considering how Galfrey blindsided her with the declaration. it's the only time she's ever felt betrayed on such a huge scale, and that definitely contributes to the way she lashes out in retaliation
for the second half- i don't think she considers herself as betraying Galfrey; she admits that she didn't react well and that she lashed out more than was warranted, but Cleo's a very forthright person. for all her other faults, she doesn't really deal in lies or backstabbing
future: What's the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it's a possibility?
Oh, Cleo is very aware of her worst future- one where she embraces the Demon Path and totally loses grip on her sense of morality and hurts a lot of people because of it. She wants to avoid it, theoretically...but she's not good at keeping herself out of those temptations, and she definitely comes close to walking a little too far down that path. That knowledge stays with her far after she goes Legend, and it's a very haunting thought!

In which Birgir's situation gets worse:
He's like, "Oh shit, oh fuck, Ulbrig's going to hate me now. Conceal DON'T FEEL, BIRG."
Now that's a rude ass thing to say to a tiefling in particular, Broheritor.
Why thank you, ma'am. He's definitely questioning his entire life right now.

About time more peeps are picking up Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous. Now I can gush over about Arueshalae, Nocticula, Camellia (I'M SORRY) and Wenduag.
I say this with extreme heavy caution, I love the story of WOTR moreso than BG3's. I love both games carnally though.

I like how my Azata playthrough of Wrath Of The Righteous basically ends with everyone fighting over who gets to adopt Ember.
Like my Azata halfling Helena is standing on her wife Arue's shoulders arguing about why Ember deserves to live with them and her new sister Aivu, while Irabeth and Anevia argue that *they* should be Embers parents. They manage to work out a compromise where they trade off every other week
Then Embers new wine mom Nocticula pops up with a hellhound puppy and the war begins anew
