"We need more female villains in warrior cats! Ya'll coulnd't handle mapleshade and she was a rather decent villain. Most of the time people just pick two sides: everyone but maple was wrong or everyone was right and maple was wrong. When, in fact, it's a much more deep and complex situation. More like everyone was an asshole expect for like, the kits, Myler and nettlepaw (there are more but like, i don't really remember). The thing with the book is that it is not black and white, most of the characters are morally grey with light or dark tendencies, but still in a grey area. Like, I can understand where Ravenwing is coming from, he's interpreting a sign from starclan and telling his clanmates about it. Oakstar and Frecklewish are deeply wounded due to being lied to about the kit's being Birchface's. However, does that justify the treatment towards Petalkit, Larchkit and Patchkit? Of fucking course not! It's not their fault who their father is. To Mapleshade? Understanble, to literal kids? Never. So much so, that I believe that if the kits got to stay in thunderclan, with Maple being the only one exiled, she would've not turned into revenge. After all, we all know that the thing she loved the most was her kits, and them being taken away from her forcefully, with her having little to no time to properly mourn their deaths, was what led her into the path of murdering those who wronged her *and* her kits. I feel it usually falls flat on the fandom that they were what mattered the most to her, and Appledusk's open denial about the kits was another trigger for her revenge. That and, let's be honest, Appledusk was one of the biggest assholes in the entire book, not only he was cheating on Reedshine with maple (who neither of the two were aware existed), he didn't give two shits about his kit's deaths. And one more thing, people used to shit so much on Reed, when she was right?? I know we are seeing Maple's pov and she sounds like an asshole but, she's not wrong, in the end Appledusk would always stay with her whilst maple was a fling. It sucks and it's bad but she isn't wrong. That sucks for maple but yeaah. As for Maple herself, a liar, a murderer, and a blame shifter. But also a mother, one that due to grief, rage and feeling betrayal over the death of her children, went down a path she would never be forgiven for. She definetly deserved her end, don't get me wrong, She is a very unreliable narrator too, but every narration of her has some truth to it. She's also stubborn and will get what she wants under all costs. But that's what makes her a good villain. I love her slow descent into quite literal madness over the grief and pain, how she feels that each of her kits live's should be paid back with more death and grief. I fucking adore this character ya'll don't understand. But yeah she's not a 100% Sauron evil character nor an "UWU baby girl wronged by the masses". She's a villain, she fucked things up, and she was a mother who loved her kids and her kids only. We will never get a villain like her again and we should be praising this book for how good it actually is. There won't be any other tragic villain stories like this. And if we do get another female villain, let's hope it's at least a decent character and not just a more worse attempt like sleekwhisker 2.0 Please correct me if my assesments are wrong but I'm having Mapleshade feelings and how everyone does her dirty with interpretations.
nah, mapleshade's story is really good and 3-dimensional (or as 3-dimensional as warrior cats has really gotten)
almost everyone in the story does something wrong, the situation is multiple people's faults, every single character (except those you listed) made mistakes, very tragic mistakes, but also very REALISTIC mistakes
mapleshade became a villain because of her society's rules, because of a merciless leader who decided to also punish toddlers for their parents' crimes (whether oakstar was like that throughout his life or if it was out of grief for his son) and because of her own bad choices
mapleshade is (or could have been) one of the most complicated and 3-dimensional villains the series has had because most other villains are "they were just born like that" or "they were bullied" or "daddy issues" i do wanna correct one thing though, i think the implication is that appledusk cheated on mapleshade with reedshine, not cheated on reedshine with mapleshade, since reedshine had been pregnant when mapleshade and her kits were exiled (unless appledusk and reedshine had been mates before he started seeing mapleshade and they just had kits later, i dunno), but that doesn't really matter in the end, appledusk cheated and was an asshole
i think the problem is that sometimes people just don't really... think critically about what they read, or don't have reading comprehension skills, as well as possibly they haven't read the book since they were a kid who did not have reading comprehension skills and they just still go off of what they remember thinking as a kid (part of why i wanna re-read through the series now as an adult to freshen my memory as well as to see how i feel about everything that happens in the series as an adult as opposed to how i felt and what i thought reading through the books as a kid) i also think it would've benefited to have seen mapleshade before she had gotten pregnant or before she had even become mates with appledusk, because we don't really get to see who she was BEFORE all of that tragedy, before she started lying to all her clanmates, we don't get a baseline of who she was before shit hit the fan
also i wanna mention that i do love sleekwhisker and raven as female villains because i DO like them literally just being evil for fun, like they just don't care they're just assholes
but i do want more complicated villains, i want complicated villains with 3-dimensional characters and backstories, and also i would love if we had a villain like that that was female and also the backstory didn't have anything to do with them being a mother

Which Taleblr character do you think is the most likely to argue about warrior cats lore online and why. 5 paragraphs.
Here is my essay on who and why i think is the most likely to argue about warrior cats lore, and what their hottest take would be within 5 paragraphs (this one does not count)
First and foremost we have to consider who even likes reading long, convoluted book series to begin with (this does not actually exclude Johnny Ghost and I’ll get back to that in a minute) and who is argumentative enough to formulate opinions that intense. Examples on who this disqualifies is Papa (because he wouldn’t read them), Sue (because she wouldn’t want to argue about them), and Billy (because he likely wouldn’t want to read or argue about them, but likely has a warriors oc)… but not the Toilet Toucher (I can’t explain that tbh, he’s just a. Multi-faceted man). From there I have to ask, who would be involved enough with the online warriors community to even get into an argument? This is where I disqualify characters like Sally and Gertrude, who don’t really interact with things like the internet much even though both could kill someone over this if they so desired.
Of the top of my head this leaves characters like Spencer, Maddie-Friend, and Johnny Ghost, Toast, and Roast. Ghost is an exception to the previous rules because if Toast is into Warriors, you know he’s told Ghost just about every aspect of the series. They roleplayed it behind the school. I can’t list where every character got knocked out of the running and why, these are just the ones who are still here. Spencer is here because he is the taleblr embodiment of the online nerd who needs everyone to see his perspective of canon as the most accurate version of it, and I don’t think the cat books are beyond his wrath. Maddie is here because I could see her reading them and getting way too attached to a really hated character and spend all her time defending them from 90% of the fandom (probably Onestar). Ghost and Toast would be a group entity because Ghost would be getting all his information from Toast and can’t read the message boards from himself, so it’s more like Toast would read Ghost a take they both disagree with and Ghost would INSIST they tell him how wrong he is. Roast, in my interpretation, is just really emo and probably felt a connection to actually HOLLYLEAF. So. Yeah, king of defending a problematic queen. In order to determine who would be most likely to argue, though, we need to determine what each of them would die for.
Spencer is a lore stickler who needs everyone to be accurate at all times, so petty things like who was right or wrong at any given time aren’t going to draw him in until someone is dead wrong about something. He’s the kind of person to ‘narratively’ defend choices using the warrior code, but wasn’t actually upset at the books for changing the code because he can point at all the bad things the code has defended in the past as a reason to why the clans would change anything. His form of argument is to state where someone is wrong, give them the exact quote that disproves them, and insult them at the end for no reason, which likely starts actual firestorms on twitter. He hasn’t realized he’s only making things worse yet. I think he’d think Mapleshade is stupid, and would find himself in the middle of a lot of arguments as a result, but he isn’t actually impassioned about those arguments. Maddie-Friend I think is most likely to argue that certain characters were written consistently or inconsistently, specifically characters she likes when they change. I don’t think she’d get specifically attached to any background or antagonistic cats, but I could see her getting really attached to a protagonist cat and then not thinking critically when it turns out they suck. Once again, like Onestar— but maybe even Bramblestar. I think her arguments would be the most passionate and from-the-heart, but that she’d be the most willing to back off and change her opinions if she rereads the books with the criticisms of her problematic faves from the internet in mind. Toast and Ghost are probably shoulders deep in the afterlife system of Warriors because… it’s related to their real-life job. When they found out about the Dark Forest plot of the most recent book, down to Imposter Bramblestar, the two probably had a fit. But no— they’d be hardwired on arguing about the afterlife of Warriors and either defending or antagonizing it as much as possible. Roast is a moody dude, and is most likely to pick a problematic cat with a backstory and defend them even though they suck. Scourge? Defended. Mapleshade? Defended. Hollyleaf? Defended. He would admit that Hollyleaf absolutely committed a murder but turn around and say Ashfur deserved it and wouldn’t have any sympathy for Leafpool. Furthermore, because he doesn’t care about the cats he’s antagonizing, he’s the most likely to get into an inflammatory argument and stick with it.
I think Spencer’s biggest hot take would be that he doesn’t like the Supereditons at all. He feels like they do nothing but over complicate the story and timeline, and it’s exhausting to watch characters change into something completely different under new authors. Especially since a lot of the time, it just ends up making already bad cats into something 10 times worse and feels like they’re trying to excuse the fate cats got when things like the code already explain it. I also think that he, as a previous tyrannical god, would see nothing wrong with starclan having final say in everything, including how things play out and who gets to go to cat heaven or cat hell. I think Maddie’s biggest hot take that she wouldn’t budge on is that the medicine in warriors should put in more effort to either straight-up say it’s magic, or replicate real life, because as a doctor-in-training she probably cringes every time she reads about spiderwebs being treated as bandages. I also don’t think she realized the two legs were humans until the end of series 1 and just thought the cats were on an alien planet. Toast and Ghost probably argue with each other over the whole thing with the ancient cats, with Toast saying it was actually pretty interesting to read, and Ghost saying it completely took him out of the plot and he didn’t understand why there were only Actual cat ghosts NOW… They also probably argue about where the books take place, with Ghost going behind Toast’s back to argue it ABSOLUTELY takes place in America without putting any thought into it. I think Johnny Roast would just say “Mapleshade was right” and other inflammatory comments with no other context on a regular basis to piss people off.
TLDR; Spencer, technically, but several others would be WAAY more annoying.

🥀, 📗, 📝, and ☢️
🥀: Protagonist with the worst arc?
BrambleStar, NeedleTail, AlderHeart, NightHeart (So far), IvyPool (Does she count), LionBlaze
I also didn't like BristleFrost and RootSpring's arc, but, it's more so just, I didn't feel like their inclusion was necessary. Even if it was absolutely necessary to the plot somehow, I wish they could have done it better
📗: Favorite Super Edition?
I have a few favorites but probably CrookedStar's Promise I guess. Honorary mentions go to GreyStripe's Vow (But only the present-day chapters) and FireStar's Quest but only a few scattered parts (Hattie my beloved)
📝: If you could make one AU canon, what would it be?
Any AU that fixes the misogyny and ableism. Also an au where MORE characters die
☢️: Worst written character?
Oh man, a question with multiple answers all of varying degrees of rage. I'm going to spare myself and everybody here and just. Give a simple list. Worst in terms of how their stories/character were handled (Characters who were handled poorly or had wasted potential): DarkStripe, OneStar (but only the DarkTail bit. What the fuck was that), SparkPelt
NightHeart and BrambleStar and CrowFeather all have genuinely abyssmal writing I hope they are all killed

Top ten of your hated characters?
I guess it's not in a particular order, I probably wouldn't be able to put them in order
I lied Thistleclaw is probably my most hated character if we count Spottedleaf's Heart as canon, the man's a straight up pedo in this book
If we ignore Spottedleaf's Heart then Ashfur would be my most hated character, I also love him at the same time but I despise him. He's just an incel who's got hots for his niece and tried to kill her family for it, come on dude
Appledusk. Straight up hate this guy, if not for Ashfur and Thistleclaw he'd be my number one (but what they did is worse so). The guy cheated on two she-cats and not only did he get away with it, his other mate forgave him and was hostile to Mapleshade! Mapleshade got exiled and her kits died all because of this relationship, while this son of a bitch got away with it. I despise depictions that have him be the father figure to the three kits in Star Clan and be generally forgiven for all of this, while he does belong in Star Clan he doesn't deserve this forgiveness. He's a slimy, cheating bastard, Mapleshade and Reedshine both deserved better.
From this point on it's not going to be in any particular order, anyways it's Tigerheartastar. I will cut that man's life short and that's a promise.
Bumblestripe. I WILL CUT THIS MAN'S LIFE SHORT AND THAT'S A PROMISE.
Star Clan Yellowfang and any motherfucker that got involved in manipulating Leafpool and Squirrelflight. Especially Yellowfang (get the fuck out with this "He just loved too much" bullshit, he's an incel who tried to murder people YELLOWFANG). Actually triple that hate, i just remembered she also told Jaypaw he has to be a medicine cat.
Spottedleaf, she appeared briefly in Into The Wild, died and suddenly decided she has a crush on Firestar, to the point that they killed her off so he wouldn't have to choose between his lifelong partner and a fucking CHILDHOOD CRUSH, the entire situation is ridiculous. Just like Yellowfang she was involved in manipulating the sisters and Jaypaw, and just like her she deserved a better treatment.
Onestar, this bitch did a flip the second he because a leader and while I don't mind him that much it sure is infuriating.
Pinestar. He was a coward. I mean I get why he left and that's valid but also he abandoned his family. Hope you're happy that a shitload of cats died because you were too much of a pussy to do anything about Tigerkit and was a deadbeat dad, man.
Nightcloud. She'd be on the bottom of the list just because I just dislike her instead of straight up hating her, but my list came up short lmao.
