Thinking about yours and Spencer’s first date but it’s his first first date and he just spends all morning staring at himself in the mirror trying to fix his hair and his outfit and the longer he looks at himself the more he hate the reflection

he catches a look of himself in his bathroom mirror the morning before heading to work and his. his hair just won’t sit right. he doesn’t want a haircut but it’s looking like he might need one, because the top is flat but the bottom curls out and if- god, has he always looked like this?

his eyes are more sunken in than normal and his dark circles are prominent - the excitement of the date tonight kept him up - and the outfit he’d chosen looks terrible and every sweater vest he has is old and too big and the patterns don’t go and colours don’t match and you’re going to be embarrassed to be seen with him, for goodness sake, unless he can get his act together

his tie is wonkier than usual and his watch feels too tight on his wrist but if he loosens it it’s too loose and why did he choose a satchel? who wears satchels anymore? does anyone even like them? why does it feel like everyone’s looking at him and knows he has a date with someone that is way out of his league, too good for him in every way, theyre all judging and laughing and this is one big prank-
