characters: vox akuma & luca kaneshiro from luxiem, alhaitham from genshin impact and suwa rei from buddy daddies

notes: gender neutral reader, slightly ooc, uses of petnames such as love and darling, just fluff, nothing else enjoy!! (haven't proofread yet, so lmk of any errors!)

you've known vox to be someone who isn't shy with affection nor words, so he definitely likes bringing out a reaction out of you knowing that you're shy.

pda is his thing, and the first time he held you and you got so red, the image of that is basically permanently planted in his head.

vox is very reliable, so i assume that he would be the type that will do stuff for you if you can't. for example, he'll initiate most of the affection and will always be sure that you're comfortable.

he would ask for permission before touching you, so that you don't get surprised when he suddenly snakes an arm around your waist while your doing some chores.

he definitely notices your efforts in being the first to approach him, but he'll never push you to do it. so imagine how proud he was when you were the first to ask for a kiss after you both started dating.

"my, isn't this something, darling?", still manages to tease you before he gently leans into your lips, slightly feeling you tremble before holding you tight to reassure you.

he would tease you sometimes, but doesn't do it often because he doesn't wanna make you feel uncomfortable. so, he'll only usually do it if he notices that you're being playful.

the type to definitely sneak kisses when he thinks your asleep because he just finds you adorable!

overall, isn't really a problem to him knowing that his loveable significant other is shy around him, in fact, he likes it!

luca's very social! so it was a surprise to him at first when he found out that you were actually shy.

hesitant to tease you, but does it anyway lmao

he thought you didn't like him, that's why you were so quiet (you were actually so into him, you just didn't know what to do)

once you both progressed into the relationship, luca would be the type that would play small pranks on you to see your reaction (mostly because he wants to see you smile)

isn't pushy with pda, but you can never resist his puppy eyes. he doesn't even know it's his charm, it just works!

pda in public happens occasionally, mostly because it's you who initiate it. otherwise, luca wouldn't want to push it (not that he doesn't like it, he's also kinda flushdge)

luca's a man of many words, so he's definitely one to tell you plenty of stories while you listen attentively.

after a while, luca's become a natural around you. he knows you best when others don't! so, people sometimes say that he's a pro when it comes to you.

"ofc i'm an expert! i'm the best bf ever", makes you laugh when he says that in a silly voice.

long story short, luca's the type of so who tries his best to make you feel comfortable, so he's definitely the #1 material man.

ah, yes. the scribe. the acting grand sage. the man who ppl assume has no care for others and is extremely ignorant.

alhaitham is the type to act really cold or carefree in front of others, but in front of you? baby.

it's probably your shy nature that makes him so comfortable. (prefers you over anything, so >>>>)

comes home and would drape himself all over you, while you get all flustered and red. this man will just laugh and pecks your cheek.

hes cheeky like that, i just know it.

very protective. literal definition of protective.

saw kaveh try to talk to you one time while he wasn't home and mans ran just to push kaveh away from you.

people know that you're both together because alhaitham makes it a habit to flaunt his locket of you every chance he has.

alhaitham doesn't really care that you're shy, he actually likes when you act all natural and blush around him only.

rei is not a man of many words, we know that. so he doesn't really mind your preserved nature. in fact, it's like you both connect telepathically.

you were the first to ask him out (much to your own surprise), and rei thought you were really cool.

i feel like rei is also protective but he hides it a lot. the type who would sort of stalk you just to make sure your safe.

he may not talk much, but he does it for you. he knows what it feels like not being able to speak, so he doesn't push it onto you.

you and kazuki are probably besties, because kazuki bribes you with information abt rei you've never heard of before, and rei is always trying to separate you both.

he actually likes seeing you all sparkly and excited.

the both of you were pretty awkward early on in the relationship since talking wasn't really a thing.

but after a while, rei got used to the idea of having you around that he doesn't act all lazy anymore (kazuki thanks the lord for you).

if you also play games, expect a lot of late night dates where you both play games and hang out.

rei trusts you with his life, and is probably most comfortable with you. so, he isn't shy to prove that he loves you.

confesses out of the blue so often just to make sure you still love him.

"y/n." "yea, rei?" "i love you", sees your cheeks redden and smirks in satisfaction. (hes a fucking tease, i just know so)

overall, rei is the best if you're an introvert or prefer quiet dates. idk i just feel like rei doesn't mind you being shy because he himself has no care for anything skskksk (in a good way ofc).

you (an indie streamer), the xsoleil boys and nina met up for an off-collab cooking stream and the boys are pretending to not know how to cook so you can help them out !

i am writing for the vtuber’s persona and model, not for the real person behind the screen.

it was all quite random timing for the guys in xsoleil and nina to have an off-collab with you , but you did agree that it was one of the funniest experiences to ever occur in your life.

the stream was taken place in your apartment, and you started streaming as if it was a regular cooking stream — all on your own.

plenty of people started tuning in to your stream as you were explaining what you’d be cooking and that you were waiting for a delivery to arrive.

your chat was flooded with suspicion that you weren’t actually going to cook, and instead having food be delivered to your door, but little did they know they were absolutely incorrect.

the doorbell started ringing and it was audible for chat as well.

“oh, that must be the delivery. i’ll be right back, chat !” and you ran off to the door. the chat kept filling the chat box with joking remarks, and some were speculating a special guest.

It must be a burger..

chat heard footsteps walking back to the stream setup however they didn’t hear the usual sweet voice from you. it was many voices, from something that would come out of a chaotic streamer. a voice then came up rather close, dangerously close to the mic and started babbling random words.

“hey guys, i hope you like.. don’t mind us joining the stream,” the voice mumbled in a calm, smooth tone. the chat started connecting the dots and realised that the voice was actually ver. so if ver was there, that must’ve meant that doppio and hex would’ve been there too.

a mature, feminine voice joined in the conversation. it was indeed fox mum, nina. chat became nothing but chaos as you and the others proceeded to explain what was going to happen during the stream.

you turn from the stovetop to face doppio who is pointing at the directions on the sheet of paper. your eyebrows furrow.

“don’t you think it’s quite self-explanatory, doppi ?” you asked, concerned for his lack of cooking skills.

hex walked up to doppio and snatched the piece of paper, reading the instruction carefully. “you don’t know how to seperate the egg yolk from the white ..?”

doppio’s face turned into a shade of tomato red as he slowly averts his gaze from hex. you start to pity him, so you ask nina to look after the stovetop as you go to assist him.

“alright, doppio, watch this. you see the egg ? crack it into the bowl.” you said, switching gazes from the egg to doppio. he looked quite hesitant at first, but after lightly smashing the egg a few times on the counter, he was able to successfully crack it into the bowl. an accomplished smile plastered on doppio’s face.

“yay, you did it, doppi !” you pat his shoulder a few times. chat had also been sending in praises and clapping emojis.

doppio looks at the next set of instructions and gulps. seperate the egg yolk.

you stare at him concerned, but you knew deep inside that he had some sort of potential.

“how do you seperate the egg yolk ?” doppio mumbled.

never mind then.

“alright, you see that egg yolk ? scoop it up, and you use your other hand and do it like this.” you follow the directions you just explained to doppio and the egg white slowly slipped in between your fingers. you placed the yolk in to the appropriate bowl and turn to doppio.

“ta daa ~” you said sarcastically.

“w— hey, not everyone is good at cooking !”

we all know this man has super malewife skills

like bro , he can cook , clean

give this guy a maid dress too and he can do all those things in style !

tell him to like bake you a 3-tier cake and he probably would in a time span of like 2 hours (that is short for making a good quality cake)

but … his malewife skills disappeared.

everything was going so smoothly for the past 5 minutes of preparing and cooking, where did everything go downwards ? you knew yourself that he is a good cook, the perfect malewife even ! why was he asking how to do things now ?!

“hey, [name], what does this part of the instructions mean ?” hex asked, looking a bit too worried. you glared at him, eyes full of irritation. they dart to the instructions and you were in disbelief.

“you’re joking, aren’t you.”

“no, seriously ! i actually don’t know how to sauté onions !”

ver and nina slowly turned to hex in shock, and so did chat … virtually. you let out a big sigh and reluctantly head over to the stove.

“grab the butter, please.”

“what is butter ?”

everyone pauses. you felt like your eyes were going to pop out of their sockets.

nina chimes in, “hexy honey, where are your super malewife powers ?”

it wasn’t that audible, but ver was trying to keep in his laugh — he probably knew what was up.

“just get the damn butter, hex.” you said. hex awkwardly walked over to the fridge where the butter was and came back with a block of salted butter.

the rest of the stream was chaos.

ver id say is also quite a decent cook

but then again , he wants to see if you can cook too !

he is so sneaky and cheeky about it too

do the right things for him , and he will give you headpats

if agency vtubers were allowed to show their faces , the chat would be spamming ‘tskr’ HEAPS

“[name], you shall receive headpats for helping me so nicely.”

you don’t care about the headpats , you just want ver to do things for himself ,,

“[naa~me] ! can you dice the onions for me ? i need to microwave this.” ver said in a rather polite voice. a hint of mischief could be heard from his tone, which caught on your suspicion.

“alright …” you reply. ver’s eyes glistened like those of a child as he sprinted towards you. catching you off guard, he started to ruffle your hair.

your cheeks turn into a pink-ish red hue as ver proceeded to pat your head. why is he doing this, you thought to yourself.

ver walked over to the microwave and added what ever ingredient he had to microwave.

still startled from the sudden contact, you start to cut the onions — and you started to understand why he gave the job to you.

“GOD, MY EYES STING !” hex started yelling from across the kitchen, and soon enough, everyone could feel the chemicals slowly waft in to their poor eyes. wretched screams filled the room as the nijisanji en members started tasting the bitter rawness of the onions.

but you ? you were in the most pain cutting those onions. man, you wished you declined the request but here you were, tearing up hysterically chop after chop, sending the chemicals straight into your eyeballs.

despite the tears rolling down his eyes, ver let out a soft giggle. he could see the frustration on your face and it satisfied him quite a lot.

“VER ! PLEASE CUT THESE ONIONS I’VE HAD ENOUGH !” you cried (literally), blubbering and begging for mercy — everyone was begging for mercy. but of course, ver wanted to relish the moment as you and the others slowly suffered from onions.

“VEEEER !” you cried even louder, almost a screech.

“no ! chat is enjoying this moment !” and yes, they were. half of them were laughing their asses off, balling their eyes out even ; and the second half, well, they were rather confused in the moment, but they did enjoy it.

a/n: okay so as a history major i love toying around with the luxiem boys’ backstories since they come from the past c: personally not toooo sure what time period ike originates from, but his whole vibe gives me 16th-century novelist so please enjoy this little brain rot i have over him as the self appointed #1 quilldren.

-Ike is very particular when it comes to what he writes on. Whether it’s for the rough outline for a novel he’s brainstorming, or for the actual penning of the story, he always opts for the finest of parchments and the most reliable of inks. This is where his interest and skill in book binding spawned from.

-The printing press had long been around since Ike entered the novelist scene, but something about the uniform output irked Ike. He was more fond of the intimacy of handwriting his own work, especially if it was only meant for his personal collection. Thus, he began to explore the world of manuscript crafting.

-It’s no surprise he was a natural to the practice, having already made himself well acquainted with the varying types of leather and sheepskin paper required in making physical recordings. He had high standards for each component, and made sure to make cordial ties with each the suppliers of his raw materials; promising to himself that’d he drop by thank you notes following the completion of his articles. 

-Ike took his time with each part of the process. He measured the leather precisely to cover its wooden frame, making calculated movements as he cut through the unforgiving medium. He designated much of his attention to the homogeneity of the pages, checking over several times that the parchment lined up as the book laid on each of its edges.

-When it came to actually binding the manuscript itself, his motions were lyrical, passing thick, intertwined cord through a hefty layer of pages with a sharp needle. If his fingers weren’t calloused already from holding a fountain pen for hours on end, the time he spent on creating his own unique writing vessels surely did the trick. 

-After ever each completed project, he’d bask in his success, admiring the finished, yet blank, manuscripts. It’d take several passes on stray parchment for him to even considering drawing ink on the books fresh pages, but once he did, it was hard to pull away the novelist from his craft.

yea so when you counterattacked his teasing, safe to say this guy was absolutely shocked.

like, he knew you were cute and all, but he didn't expect for you to be on the same level as he is when it comes to teasing.

it's like he'd be all brave and kusogaki, and then you counter him, and the next thing he knows is he's a mess, a blushing mess.

you're pretty observant, so you notice the way he reacts, which will only entice more reaction from him.

one time you playfully touched his thigh while he was gaming, and the poor dude started stuttering so bad.

an idiot, for sure.

he's fine with pda, but for some reason, you like teasing him while touching him, so he's wary of it (like he gets really red)

overall, this man is too pure for the world. you'd feel a little bad but how else will you be able to see such a reaction from a mafia boss?

believe me when i say this, but shu definitely is chill as hell when you act all bold around him.

you'd say the most shocking thing, and this guy will just snicker at you.

which is why you get braver around him, just to get that reaction out of him.

if you're lucky, he'd say stuff back to you.

kind of like the type where you flirt and say stupid shit, but he says it back seriously and it just goes haywire.

if you're someone who's bold with the way you talk, i believe shu is like your #1 supporter. he doesn't seem like a man who would say much, but this guy would have your back no matter what. it's you both against the world fr fr.

i believe in bold and flirty shu agenda (real!!)

though shu won't like it if you do bold stuff around other people/in public, because he doesn't want you to get hurt.

to top it off, i believe shu is pretty cool with have a bold person around. don't piss him off though, he's feisty.

mysta's pretty bold, isn't he. so i expect a you + mysta combo to be double the trouble.

the unstoppable duo that just does whatever they want, says whatever's on their mind.

you both just fit right with each other (match made in heaven)

but trust me, if you reciprocate back his words, this guy goes brain dead from it.

kinda like the type that can tease you, but can't handle being teased. sort of like luca in a way, except he's more brazen.

y'all did the pokemon pass or smash thing, and this guy is just dead ass surprised from your play at it bcs what the fuck.

mysta's a sweet boy though, he still gets really shy when you say stuff.

he's gotten used to your affection, so i don't think it bothers him anymore.

ike is a man who's good with words, you can't fight him, nuh uh.

you being bold either puts a nasty grin on his face, or the loudest sigh ever heard from mankind.

told him your darkest deepest secrets and this guy stares back at you, mouth wide opened tryna process what he just heard.

you just giggle in response.

ike lowkey likes seeing you be bold and defend yourself when people do things against your beliefs. he thinks it's endearing.

though he doesn't ever tell you, he just lets you run free, only holding you back when he deems necessary.

10/10, tsundere. acts like he doesn't like it, likes it like hell.

vox himself is already one hell of a bold guy T.T

some days, it's like a competition to see who's bolder. (you lose)

y'all could be platonic or dating, and this guy still says the sluttiest shit ever, and gets you a blushing mess.

he likes that your energy matches his, so it makes him really happy.

i'd say it's pretty crazy to see two people with such brazen language (ykwim).

he's a sweetheart though, kinda like the type that let's their partner say mean stuff, while they support wholeheartedly.

the first time you did a bold move and pretty much sat on him, this guy had the most shit-eating grin you've ever seen.

your conscience slowly woke up from its slumber, your closed eyes furrowing from the sudden voice, but somehow you were unable to recognise it. it sounded so familiar too. every word honeyed with a peaceful melody that flowed from one sentence to the next.

“[na]… ou there ..? it’s m …”

you were greeted with a vague and blurry figure as your eyes fluttered open. after blinking them a few time, more significant features were becoming more and more visible.

their fluffy, pinkish-red hair, slanted eyes with a serene yet degrading gaze that could most definitely threaten anyone with one simple look.

“hey, [na] … [name] !” the voice said sternly, almost yelling.

after a while of attempting to clear out your clouded head, it hit you.

“the mob ! what about the— what about the mob ?!” you yelled, getting up from laying on the bed, only to immediately fall back down after feeling a sharp sting in your waist. you clutched it to try reduce any pain, stifling your cries.

“[name], your body is healing, don’t touch the wound.”

you quickly turn your head as the voice had startled you. although your sight was still slightly hazy, every feature was now visible. it was ver.

a long pause had filled the room with silence as you stared at him, processing everything.

“ver, i need to go back and finish off the mob …”

if ver were to describe your face and the emotions you felt at that very moment, he would say you looked helpless.

he averted his gaze. “no need to worry about them anymore, i took care of them.”

ver’s eyes widened slightly at your question. he slowly walked to the bed you laid in and kneeled beside it. his calloused hand softly brushed your face, instinctively getting your head to rest on it.

all the information you had gathered made you want to fall asleep, however you really wanted to get payback from the mob, so you continued listening.

“most parts of your body are slightly bruised, however you do have a concussion, so you may feel dizziness for the next few days.”

you knew that this was meant to be a serious moment when ver was explaining your injuries, but something about his voice felt so comforting and you tried your hardest to not doze off from his calm presence.

ver chuckled lightly and stood up, “don’t worry, i can stop talking. if you wish i can leave the roo—“

“no please, don’t.” you mumbled.

“huh ?”

by then, you were already to embarrassed to say anything else. you slowly curled yourself into a ball, even though it hurt slightly doing so.

“what do you mean by please, don’t, love ?” ver asked

“don’t go … stay .. stay here … please ..?”

ver hadn’t taken his eyes off you. he smiled as he got into the bed. you two were lucky enough that the bed fit both of you perfectly.

during this moment, ver starts rambling about recent shenanigans until you doze off, however this time, you were already asleep. he was quiet, making sure he wouldn’t wake you up.

he shuffled a little closer to you, admiring your relaxed face, your chest slowly lifting up, and falling back down.

he gave you a peck on the lips, and rested his forehead on yours.

“i love you dearly, [name]. i wish i could hug you right now but i don’t want to hurt you, so take these words, okay ?” he whispered, closing his eyes.

he thought you were asleep, but little did he know, you were listening to every single bit he had said, and a warm smile formed on your face.

you wouldn’t admit it to his face all the time, but you too loved him just as much.
