1 year of Nileb!!!!!!

A year ago today I did something incredible. A year ago today I started dating the most amazing person I've ever had the good fortune of meeting. It was a scary decision, because of the distance and the fear that had built up from past relationships, but in honesty it was one that was easy to make. Never had something felt so right. We faced a lot of adversity from people who thought we wouldn't make it, whether that be because of the distance or because of transitioning or whatever else they decided to use as a reason, but fuck them all, because we're still here we're standing strong and this has been the best year of my entire life. It has been a struggle of a year for us both, but I'm so much stronger now than I was that day and we've supported eachother through it all. I've never been in a relationship that's been as equal, as supportive, as loving and as right as this is. Caleb is absolutely perfect to and for me. This year we're going to meet, we'll be able to hold hands, to take silly selfies together, to just cuddle up and watch a film, go on little dates together, we can finally kiss, and honestly those are things I've been craving for so long and I'm so excited for it. Here's to Caleb for sticking with me through the darker times, and celebrating with me in the good. Here's to Caleb for inspiring me to be creative again, and for giving me the strength to even try education and still supporting me when it didn't go to plan. For always being there for even the littlest, silliest things that I needed. Here's to one year, and many many more to come. Caleb I love you forever and always ❤ -Nick
