"What. Is this?"

He pays no mind to your question and instead continues to place the ring in your hand. Humming in delight when he finds it resting on your middle finger snuggly.

"Dear snookywooms—my darling lover—just what is this paper ring supposed to be?" you ask, expasperated.

Again, he pays you no mind. Giving his undivided attentions to your linked hands; The sight of the ring on your hand gets his heart pacing. Leaping and soaring as he eyes it with delight. Sure maybe it's only a paper ring made from scratch paper on his spare time—but it was a ring nonetheless. Soon, he promises. He'll put a ring on your ring finger too. One deserving to be resting at your hands—one that'd make you remember him on days where he's not by your side. But for now, he'll make do with a paper ring.

"Are you even listening?!"

"Love, what are you doing?"

A question prompted by the fact he's kneeling down on one knee and offering a ring pop as though it's an engagement ring at 12 am in a convenience store.

"Will you—the love of my life, be interested in the prospect of staying with me for the rest of my life?" he asks—as serious as one proposing using a ring pop could get.

You sigh at his antics, heaving out a sigh as you try to fight off a smile. How stupid.

"Ofcourse, I'd love to. Loverboy"

He grins and inserts the pop ring onto your finger. And you let him, playfully rolling your eyes as you do.

"What a dork" you'd say, but he only laughs at your half-hearted insult. Because at the end of the day, he knows you'd love him still.

BACHIRA, NANASE, gagamaru, Nagi

"Let's make a deal." the first he proposes the prospect of a challenge to you, you raise your eyebrows in surprise. But you don't say anything.

"If I get this stuff toy for you on one try you'll marry me and if I can't I'll do anything you say"

You roll your eyes at his challenge, but nonetheless, entertained by his antics. Playfully, you agree to his deal, never really expecting anything from it. "Sure sure, whatever you say, deary"

With this, he's notably more determined. Eyeing the stuff toy with a calculative gaze. If you squint hard enough—you'd notice math numbers and equations reflecting on his eyes and you aren't sure how nor do you want to know how that's possible.

When he finally presses the button, you aren't hopeful. But when you see the stuff toy stay in the claw machine and get to the end goal—you're left gasping in shock.

"Ah. I got it!" A second and he's already taking the stuff toy and handing it to the now turned speechless you. "Hope you'll keep your promise, love" he says, eyes brimming with joy you thought impossible.

HIORI, Nagi, NESS, OTOYA, Reo

"Let's play flip a coin. If it's tails I'm yours if it's heads you're mine"

You deadpan as he plays with the coin. Doing tricks or whatever with it—he could probably be a magician if his football career fails. "No, rewards are not beneficial to me at all"

Your reply prompts a pout out of him, "Now now, don't be such a kill joy love"

You roll your eyes, goodness gracious. "Sure sure, go flip that or whatever then"

He grins, doing his dumb yet kind of cool magic tricks before finally throwing it in the air. You eye the coin, the slightest bit curious about the outcome.

"D'aww it's tails. Guess I'm yours then" he sadly whines, although the smile on his face tells you otherwise.

"Oh goodness. What did I ever do to deserve this?"

Your lover only smirks, "I know I know, it's a blessing to have me yours for all of eternity"

What a stuck up bastard. "I meant that in a derogatory way, bastard"

Happy birthday to me! - uhm, us. (twin!Shidou & twin!reader)

Synopsis: You weren't willing to miss out on celebrating your birthday with your brother, only because he's in Blue Lock at the moment. And you surprising Shidou is definitely the best present you ever gave him.

Characters appearing: Shidou, Rin, Karasu, Zantetsu, Loki, Tokimitsu, Nanase (PxG, basically)

This is the last part of my Shidou birthday countdown event! Aka, it's his and my birthday <3

You've celebrated every single one of your birthdays together with your twin and you weren't willing to end this streak only because he's in Blue Lock at the moment.

It definitely took a lot of back and forth and tons of convincing, but you somehow managed to get the permission to visit Shidou on your birthday.

The thing is, not once has he mentioned having a twin to any of his teammates. So you can imagine everyone's surprise when you run onto the soccer field out of nowhere while the team is at practice.

"Ryu!" You call his name as you jump on him, tackling him to the ground. "Happy birthday!"

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Your brother asks in surprise, but he looks happy to see you.

"Fuck. There's two of them." Rin curses under his breath, but still loud enough for his teammates to hear.

"Hell yeah! There's two of them!" Karasu cheers.

Zantetsu adjusts his glasses and tries to sound intelligent. "Well uhm, technically they're one of each. Except for if one of them is a clone."

"Well, I don't think one of them is a clone..." Nanase adds to that and quickly afterwards he finds himself listening to a very unlogical explanation by Zantetsu why neithet you more Shidou is a clone. Even though the most obvious explanation would be that cloning isn't possible.

Rin decides to ignore what Zantetsu is talkibg about and looks over at Loki, expecting for practice to continue soon. But unfortunately for him, Loki has decided to end practice a bit earlier today so you and your brother get to celebrate.

Rin already knows he's not going to join that. Instead, while the rest of the team and you go over to one of the rooms that can be used for your celebration, he's staying on the field to continue practicing on his own.

"I didn't know Shidou has a twin." Karasu says while taking a closer look at you. "Damn, you look very similar to him."

"You never told them about me?" You say to your brother, acting as if you're offended by this. "Ryu! Everyone should know about your favourite person!"

"I never thought it was necessary to let them know!" Shidou sounds defensive, but he's joining in on the joke.

"Never thought it was necessary? Oh come on!"

Before your brother gets to talk back, Tokimitsu gets between you and Shidou to interrupt your 'argument' because he believes both of you are being serious.

"G-guys calm down- Hey uhm, (Y/N)?" He sounds as if he's unsure about pronouncing your name right. "Maybe... your brother never got the chance to tell us about you? But... you seem very nice."

Even though he misunderstood the situation, Tokimitsu's words immediately melt your heart. So you can't help but pull him into a hug.

"Ryu! Your friend here is so cute!" You giggle and hug Tokimitsu a little too tight, barely letting him breathe. Also, calling him "cute" put a bright blush on Tokimitsu's face which he's definitely going to get teased about as soon as you're gone.

The celebration itself isn't something that special. The team gathered some snacks and put on some music, but besides that there's not much going on. Well, you did get to talk to all of your brother's teammates and got to know them a little bit better, so that's something.

But you don't mind it not being a big and special party. It feels nice to just see your brother again.

Also, at some point you notice Rin joining in the room. But he just stands there and doesn't do much. Although sometimes, he looks as if he's about to approach you but never acrually does it.

At some point a bit later, you somehow find yourself talking to Loki. "I hope my brother isn't causing you too much trouble. I know how overwhelming he can get."

"Oh no, don't worry." Loki responds with a smile. "I've found my way to manage everything, somehow."

"Are you sure? I mean, he is a handful to handle."

"I heard that!" Shidou, who's standing a few meters away from you, calls out.

"I'm telling the truth, idiot!" You yell back.

And that's hos the sibling banter starts once again. Except this time Karasu joins in, just for the fun of it.

Time passes by way faster than you'd like it to. It feels like barely an hour has passed by when you realize it's almost time to leave. In no way you're leaving the small mess that was created.

While cleaning up, you end up in a little conversation with Nanase. It's not much, but he's so sweet, you pull him into a hug like you did with Tokimitsu. Those two definitely have won a little place in your heart.

Saying goodbye to your brother was a whole thirty minute process. More and more hugs, more and more goodbyes, and generally just repeating how much you'll miss each other over and over. But in the end, Shidou lets you go from his embrace - his hugs are just as strong as yours are - and you leave the room to walk down the hallway.

And just as you're about to open the door to leave, you hear someone running after you. You expected it to be your brother or maybe Karasu, but no. It's Rin. Definitely a surprise to end the day - but not one to complain about.

He looks a little embarrassed but is trying to hife that. "I haven't uh. I haven't said happy birthday to you so... Happy Birthday."

A soft smile spreads across your face. "Thank you, Rin."

And then, you turn around to open the door but stop once again when you hear someone else's footsteps running in your direction. Just this time you don't even get to turn around.

Suddenly, you feel your brother hugging you from behind, causing you to let out a little chuckle. "Oh Ryu..."

His arms around you tighten a little more as je pulls you closer. "Thank you for coming... I miss you already."

You turned on your back with a pillow on your chest and smiled. "Jiiiinn, I love you!" You stared at Ego as he work on his computer. He hummed. You pouted and turned on your stomach. "Jin, I love you."

"Mhm, I heard you the first time." He didn't turned to you and continued pressing the keys on his keyboard. You got up from the bed and walked up behind him. You wrapped you arm around his neck and held him tightly.

"I said I love you!!" Ego choked and glared at you.

"I-I love you t-too! Let me go!!" Ego choked out. You smiled and released him.

Hiori was sitting on the bed crisscrossed, and playing the game. You walked in the shared bedroom and smiled when you saw your boyfriend playing the game. You walked up to him. Hiori saw you walking to him so he moved his arm so you can sit in his lap. You hurriedly sat on his lap so Hiori can put his hand back on the controller.

You hugged him tightly and buried your face onto his shoulder. "I love you Hiori..." You smiled. Hiori smiled and giggled a bit. When his controller start to vibrate he placed it on your back, making you let out a small noise in surprise.

"I love ya too y/n,"

You was sitting next to Isagi on the couch. You was leaning onto his shoulder as he watch a soccer game on TV. You lifted your head up and kiss his cheek, you giggled when you saw his cheeks turning red. "I love you," and you kiss his nose "I love you,"

Isagi was slowly laying down on the couch to get away from your kisses before he faints, but you followed him down. You kissed his forehead, "I love you," and your kisses his neck "I love you Isagi."

Isagi's face was super red, he coverd his face with his arm and groaned. "I-I love you too y/n"

Both you and Nanase was in the backyard playing soccer. The two of you were bored so you thought that it will be good if Nanase teach you a little bit of soccer. You kicked the ball really far so Nanase have to go get it because it was on his side. When he turned around to get the ball, you ran up to him and jumped on him. You hugged him tightly and giggled a bit when he yelled out a noise.

"I love you so much Nanase!"

Nanase smiled and turned around to hug you back. "I love you too y/n!"

y’all would definitely be that couple. you know the ones with the matching users and icons in almost every damn game you play together. lowkey making everyone else gag whenever you two speak in the voice chat. constantly surprising each other with merch of your favorite characters. always doing gacha pulls together.

he never wants to do his daily check-ins without you, even if he has a wait a while for you to get on the game. too many times have you guys accidentally pulled all-nighters because you completely lost track of time. but who really needs to stay fully awake in school when you got shit to play with your amazing boyfriend.

even when you two are playing against each other, you ain’t getting a pass just because you’re his lover. he will destroy you. so uh yeah no more mario kart for a while. just relaxing chill games from now on.

doesn’t really care to play video games but does enjoy watching you play instead. usually sits right next to you on the couch or lays in bed as he watches. he also asks so many questions about the game that it becomes borderline distracting.

after watching you play for a bit, he becomes an absolute backseat player; nitpicking a wrong move you made, telling you what you should’ve done instead, or criticizing you whenever you lose like he could’ve done any better???

though it feels pretty flattering when he does get genuinely impressed by your skills or compliments you on a personal high score you just beat.

After spending the day walking and shopping, he took you to the best restaurant in town, ordering the most expensive food and drink, when it was time to pay the bill, the word "processing" stayed a good few minutes on the screen of the payment device, the two of you and the cashier looking at the machine nervously, when the payment was over, the people in line behind you celebrated, "first time I see a rich having card problem" you whispered and he shook the card, saying "It's problem on this card!" following you out of the establishment, totally outraged by such a situation.

You knew he had trouble assimilating some things, always speaking in English to try to impress and you try not to laugh at his efforts, but there are times when it's just impossible to hold back the laughter. "You what?" you asked, trying to understand, "ataken back…" he whispered, realizing he had made a mistake, "I think you meant taken aback" you corrected, holding back the laughter as the tips of his ears turned red, "… yes, that's it…" He hid his face, embarrassed, and you hugged him laughing, "I was also ataken back with your beauty" you mocked him, who was more embarrassed.

At some times he needs to change the lenses and during those days, he runs out of glasses, most of the time he manages to survive, still being a gentleman when you follow along. This time was no different, even though things were a blur, he was still kind enough to open the door for you, except that the door was a saloon door and the person who passed before you two pushed too hard, not giving kenyu time to hold on to you and the door slammed in his face, catching the attention of everyone in the hospital. "My God, Kenyu, are you okay?" you whispered, following him out of the hospital, him showing his face to you, nodding even as tears formed at the corners of his eyes.

The beach holds a lot of risks for someone who wants to look in tiptop shape, but that isn’t deterring Aryu from a beautiful day out with you. He picks his outfits in advance, setting out patterned tropical shirts and matching pants, and he even puts his hair up and decorates it with shiny floral accessories. He’ll try to match with you and offer to help you dress yourself up, making sure you look just as glam as he does. Once at the beach, he’s eager to tan in the sun for a bit to show off his equally pretty swimsuit, and if time allows, he’ll even try to buy some souvenir clothes at the gift shop. You might be able to convince him to buy one of those obnoxious cringey tourist-bait t-shirts, but only if you promise to get one yourself to match with him and parade around the beach together like the keenly dressed couple you are!

“What do you think about this one?” You proudly hold up a big white t-shirt that has the phrase ‘SUNS OUT, GUNS OUT’ printed onto it in huge black letters. It’s garish and decorated with the most ugly emoji pictures known to man, which is why it caught your attention and precisely why you picked it out for Aryu to judge.

Your boyfriend swallows back a heavy sigh, rubbing his temples as if staring at your picks any longer would cause his brain to melt out of his ears. You had dragged him around the gift shops picking out the ugliest shirts you could find, each one growing worse than the last. Aryu shot down your offer to buy matching t-shirts with cartoon abs plastered onto the torso, so you thought you were toning things down.

“Are you really set on buying the most tacky thing you can get your hands on?” He asks, as if questioning you will change your determined will to wrestle your boyfriend into an embarrassing shirt. You nod eagerly, turning your attention back to the rack of horrible apparel next to you. Abandoning the white shirt you were just holding, you start rifling through it again.

“C’mon, it’ll be fun! Think about how jealous all of your friends will be! Even if it’s an awful souvenir, it’s not like they have a significant other that they can match with.” You grin at him with what Aryu can only describe as devilish intent as you bring out your next contender for him to judge. This time, it’s an all black t-shirt with the phrase ‘I GET BEACHES’ on it in bright yellow cartoonish print.

Aryu sighs again defeatedly. “...I suppose love and glam can go hand-in-hand. Very well. Pick whichever one you like. We can wear the shirts together, and perhaps everyone will see our natural stylishness shine even more from our affection for one another.”

Your grin widens even further, stretching quite literally from ear-to-ear. “Say less! I’ll pick out the best shirt you’ve ever seen!”

NANASE NIJIRO!

teaching him how to swim!

Nanase’s sunny attitude and courage often leads to him sticking himself headfirst into places he’s less-than-equipped for. You should have expected this: your endearing boyfriend making a beeline for the waves the moment you arrived at the beach, only to realize in horror that the boy has no clue how to swim and is being swept away as he flails his arms uselessly. After fishing him out and failing to get properly mad at him once you see his bright smile, you have no choice but to resort to teaching him the basics. Buying him a few floaties and kickboard ought to do the trick, and Nanase will entertain himself for hours bobbing around in the sea, looking more like a toddler in all of his swim gear than he does a soon-to-be professional soccer player. But, hey, at least he still looks adorable!

You tighten the floating around Nanase’s bicep, making sure the velcro strap is fastened on securely enough that no amount of waving, flailing, or splashing will cause it to come loose. Nanase waits patiently, and he stares up at you with his big eyes as drops of salty water drip from strands of his midnight black hair.

You pat his arm when you’re satisfied with your work. “Okay, that should be good! Jesus, you scared me really badly there… Why’d you go rushing into the water if you don’t know how to swim?”

“It looked fun! Everyone else was already in the water, and I was in there before I knew it! I couldn’t help it… Isn’t the whole point of going to a beach to have fun in the water?” Nanase asks innocently, and a hint of a boyish smile tugs at the corners of his lips. Even when he’s being scolded, he looks so pleased with himself that you have no choice but to forgive him almost automatically.

“Well… Yeah, but still…,” you sigh, shaking your head. “Just take it easy, and don’t go places where you can’t get yourself out of. These floaties should keep you from going under at least. Don’t go too far away, and stay close to me, okay? I’ll go in with you.”

His eyes light up, twinkling like stars when you mention that you’ll be accompanying him. “You’re going to come with….? Oh! Are you going to save me again if something bad happens?”

This boy…! You can’t tell if he actually has a brain in that head of his. What are you ever going to do with someone as airheaded as him? It’s like he lives and breathes just for your attention, and as much as you love him, it makes you wary of everything he does.

You reach over, and you grab his cheeks, pinching the soft flesh and stretching his face out as if it were made out of playdough. “Don’t go and get any stupid ideas! Purposefully drowning yourself so that I’ll rescue you is not an option, Nanase! Do you hear me?”

Nanase mumbles out the best he can with his cheeks being pinched, “Y-Yesshir…”

SHIDOU RYUSEI!

surfing!

Shidou loves moving to the beat of his own drum. He acts independently, plays independently, and defies the logic of anyone who tries to snare him within the strings of reasoning. Getting to go on a beach date with you means that he’s going to do whatever he wants. Be it teasing you in your swimsuit, downing a whole mountain of shaved ice, and then letting loose in the water, Shidou knows how to keep himself busy and does his best to drag you into his shenanigans as well. Whether or not it ends up with the two of you mastering the waves or play-fighting while drenching each other in seawater, Shidou will have you laughing and enjoying yourself with him by the end of the day. He has his charms, as insufferable as he might be, but you have to give him credit where credit is due.

“Hey-”

The sun blares in your eyes while you try to relax underneath the big beach umbrella you had lugged out to the sandy shore, taking refuge in the shade it creates as you forget the rest of the world. Or you would, had it not been for your insistent boyfriend constantly prodding at your arm.

“C’mon, quit ignoring me,” Shidou grumbles, puffing his cheeks out. You don’t know how he manages to keep up his energy even in the blazing beach heat, but when Shidou becomes fixated on something, he won’t stop until he sees it through. Unfortunately for you in this case, he’s determined to get you to join him and won’t let you rest until you will.

You groan dramatically, flopping like a pile of goop onto the beach towel underneath you. “It’s so hot! How does anyone have the energy to go surf in the sun like this?”

“The whole point of surfing is to cool off, idiot.” Shidou pokes you in the side of your head jokingly. He gestures to the waves a few feet away, the clear blue water glistening like diamonds underneath the unfiltered sunlight. “We try it out, we fall into the water, and we cool off. Solid plan, don’tcha think?”

You wonder if it’s worth biting back at him, to tell him to go do it on his own while you desperately try to cool off on your own, but if the wide grin on his face tells you anything, it’s that Shidou will drag you into the sea one way or another. It’s your choice whether or not you go willingly or have him carry you kicking and screaming, and you make the wise decision to peel yourself off of the ground.

“You’re not going to take no for an answer, aren’t you? I know you too well,” you pretend to sigh disappointedly, but your faux reluctance isn’t fooling anyone. Shidou gives a loud cheer and grabs your hands, leaving the two of you stumbling across the hot sand and towards the surfboards, ready to make a splash in the waves.

MICHAEL KAISER!

getting sunburnt and crying for your attention!

Kaiser loves trying to show off to impress you, only to turn around and end up flopping so bad that he looks pathetic instead. But that’s all part of his charm, isn’t it? Leave it to everyone’s (least) favorite German to buckle up for a romantic day at the beach, except he ends up getting burned by the sun to the point that he turns as red as a lobster. Lucky for him, you’re there to comfort him when he comes crying about how much it hurts and how he feels like he’s going to die unless you’re there to rub aloe vera onto his chest and back. It’s totally not because he wants you to feel his abs and toned back muscles, and he totally doesn’t need a kiss from you in order to heal as fast as he can! Maybe what he truly needs from you is a harsh glare from you and a freezing cold ice pack in order to put him back in his place.

“What are you going to do without me?” You sigh, shaking your head as you slather up your hands with a generous helping of soothingly cool aloe vera. Kaiser whimpers, laying on his stomach as his irritated red back provides proof to you that your handsome but stupid boyfriend got cooked to crisp in the sun.

He groans under his breath in relief when you spread the solution onto his sunburnt skin, his body practically melting underneath your fingertips. You bite back a coy smile; who could imagine an esteemed striker like him turning into needy putty the moment he needs your help?

“Darling, it’s like I’m falling in love with you all over again,” he whispers. He squirms underneath you, trying to guide your hands upwards his muscled back, clearly flexing his muscles to show off, and you roll your eyes. Smacking his shoulders gently, you take your hands off of him.

“I’m more than aware of how helpless you’d be if you didn’t have me.” You don’t want to admit that you’re equally in love with him, even though dating him feels more like being his white knight in shining armor than a proper lover at times. But when he cranes his neck to look up at you with such loving blue eyes and his signature grin, you can’t help but let your frown turn into a smile.

“But I do have you. Because you’re so madly in love with my charm, right? Because I’m that good-looking and talented, right?” Kaiser’s just fishing for your attention at this point to lift his spirits, and you lean forward to brush some of his hair out of his forehead.

You roll your eyes, and you kiss him quickly to get him to shut up. “Whatever helps you sleep at night, you doofus.”

Kaiser melts again, swooning visibly as he gazes deeply at your face. He bats his eyelashes up at you, his cheeks brightening into a tiny pink flush as he stares at you as if you were the most beautiful person ever in history. “You know… I’m sure I’d be instantly cured if you kissed my sunburn better… What do you think, darling?”

“Dream on, Kaiser.”

LIKE;; Reader's also a soccer player(the good ones yk — pro lvl) and works as an extra coach for any of the teams like an extra help, etc etc.

AND Reader's young, like around Loki's age(17),, and since they're the same age , they're friends(even before Neo Egoist) ehshsh.

So bc of that, Reader chooses to assist Loki ofc bros a single mom w/ +3 kids. Reader was supposed to be a helper but in the end, turned out to be more of a babysitter Charles but he's actually good at it.

Reader is a good player but his dream is not as high — tho, he still wants to stick around Loki and stuff. He's good at convincing ppl(Reader).

Loki can manage his team well- so he's now there more of a decoration and to fill out space — Loki still doesn't mind(ooc but idc). Reader keeps watch and keeps some things in order; update some news and manage some status.

Also keeps company babysits to the team since they're all pretty young still. Loki n' R! Get well together, even tho R! cannot fulfill Charles role(being the best passer for Loki) Loki still keeps him around for the sake of his sanity sometimes. Ofc, he cares abt him.

Ima do a HC that Charles only likes to obey R! just to annoy Loki off. W/ that, both start slowly building somewhat of a bond through all the time they've met each other. Charles & R! have more of a sibling dynamic.

Idk, feel like Rin and R! would kinda get along. Tho ofc Rin thinks that's R! is a waste of talent for being that good but not having a high enough dream. "Mediocre" is his nickname for R!.

Zanzetsu asks R! questions all the time. Tries to show off, fails, but at least he learned something/the correct way.

R!'s main role is to separate Rins' and Shidou's fights when it happens.. Loki's grateful.

Shidou likes how R! gets all "freaky" (he means agitated) when having to stop him from going wild. Likes R!'s 'explosion' on the field when he actually played for once(even if it is for demonstration). Annoys R! for his number.

Treats wounds ofc(Rin).

Tokimitsu would be soooo shy and kind to R!. I just know. He finds it cool that a pro lvl player is not scary and selfish abt soccer for once.

AGHH NANASE <33 Tries to help out on R!'s work. The only time he can relax is around Nanase or Loki. Nanase safe spot fr.
