Note
Railgun for the ask
Also Bocchi the rock if u want
Yes
Toaru Kagaku No Railgun
Fav female character: either Mikoto or Kongou I genuinely can't pick they're both amazing
Fav male character: Gunha? Or Icchan's cat
Fav season: T, it was full of random nonsense but I don't remember S enough to judge (also Touma was in S more which is annoying), and T gave us Kongou and Misaki and Fre/nda screentime so kudos
Fav episode: don't remember the number but the one with Mikoto bonding with the clone then it died
Fav cast member: Mikoto, sorry Kuroko but not this time
Fav ship: Mikokuro!
Character I'd die defending: Mugino (the one that didn't get butchered by the writing)
Character I can't sympathize with: Accelerator. oh my god you annoying plot device
Character I grew to love: Misaki, thanks to T I hated her so much at first but now she's one of my favs lol
Anti otp: Kamikoto (Touma x Mikoto) it's super unhealthy and the fans should stop pretending it's not, also cringe thanks to Index being a thing.
Edit because someone reminded me: Kamikuro is THE worst ship to ever exist and I wish whoever made it a happy fuck you Kuroko is a lesbian (before anyone jumps at me literally across all LNs and 3 Index and 3 Railgun seasons and the manga she's only expressed feelings for females and more specifically Mikoto, there's no "she could be bi" it's been 19 years since the series came out if she's bi it's too late to show it)
Bochi The Rock
Fav female character: Seika aka older dorito
Fav male character: the doggo and mr. Mango box
Fav season: only 1 came out so 1
Fav episode: 11 I think? The festival one
Fav cast member: Ryo or Bochi
Fav ship: Seika x Pa-san x Hiroi (sorry Bokita but you're in 2nd place)
Character I'd die defending: Nijika our beloved sunshine Dorito
Character I can't sympathize with: thankfully no one, I like all characters
Character I grew to love: also no one XD, I immediately liked everyone
Anti otp: Ryo x Kita? I don't necessarily hate it but it does have toxic aspects so
Gimme a fandom
The ship part got salty in the Railgun one sorry about that lol

Rescue and Meeting
Akitaru Obi x Toba Amagawa
OC: Toba Amagawa
This takes place before the events of Fire Force, specifically when Akitaru is in school to be a firefighter.
Contains: Gratuitous amounts of fluff
~ Masterlist ~
Tumblr media
Toba let out a quiet giggle as she fondly looked over the little children bumbling with eagerness to go to the park nearby the childcare center. It had been a lovely spring day outside, and the children had been on their best behavior the whole week, so the young teacher aide and her senior both agreed that it would be a good idea to take the kids out to the park as a reward.
Toba began calling each child’s name, watching as the called child would eagerly put on their cute yellow helmet and scramble to line up in pairs, some of them bringing along toys with them. Balls, jump ropes, kites, and those kinds of things.
After making sure that every child was lined up and settled, Toba turned to her senior, Nijika. “Mrs. Nijika, I’ll be leaving now.”
The older woman smiled and bowed. “See you all later. Be safe, everyone!”
All the children waved goodbye to their teacher before eagerly following their teacher aide.
A soft smile etched onto Toba’s face as she led the children to the nearby park, listening to the nursery rhyme they were singing.
In less than no time, the group finally made it to the park.
“Okay, everyone!” Toba called to the kids with a clap of her hands. “You all know the rules! Stay in the park at all times, keep your helmets on, and have fun!”
And with that, the kids quickly dispersed, running to whatever they wanted to do.
Toba hummed in contentment as she sat on a nearby bench that overlooked the park, allowing the young woman to watch over her children.
It had been pretty calm for Toba, for the most part.
Listening to the sound of the laughter of children.
Watching as the wind gently jostled around the cherry blossom petals.
Secretly eyeing that very muscular young man with an undercut as he walked by the park and giving him a shy wave when he noticed her. The young man waved back, a broad smile on his face.
“Ms. Amagawa!” One of the children cried, breaking Toba out of her reverie.
Toba’s brows furrowed as she noticed the tears threatening to fall from one of her kids’ eyes. “What’s wrong? Did something happen?”
The little kid pointed to one of the trees, a colorful kite caught within its branches. “My kite got caught,” they cried.
Toba patted the head of her kid gently, crouching down to their height. “Don’t cry. Ms. Amagawa’s going to try her best to get it for you, so don’t cry.”
The child let out a sniffle before nodding.
With determination burning in her eyes, Toba walked up to the offending tree that held captive the kite of one of her dear children. The other children began to gather around in wonder as Toba took off her low-heeled shoes and tied her hair, her tongue slightly sticking out.
Unbeknownst to the teacher aide, the young man that she had been ogling watched in concern as she climbed up the tree. He had to give the young woman credit for how she effortlessly climbed the tree, though he was sure it was through sheer determination to make her child happy that she was able to do this.
By now, Toba was balancing precariously on a branch as she reached out to try and grab the kite above her. It seemed to go well when she was finally able to grab hold of the kite. The children below her let out a cheer as she flashed a big grin and a peace sign.
The victory was short-lived as a snap resounded loudly, and before she knew it, Toba felt herself falling, the terrified expressions of her children embedding itself into her mind.
A scream ripped out of Toba as she closed her eyes, bracing for the pain that the ground was surely going to give her.
At least, she thought it was coming until she felt herself drop into what felt like a pair of muscular arms.
A low grunt close to her ear and pain that surely didn’t feel as bad as falling straight on the ground caused the young woman to open her eyes tentatively.
Once her eyes were fully open, Toba saw the kite she tried so hard to get fall gently to the ground.
“Hey, you okay?” A deep voice rumbled next to her.
Toba snapped her head toward the voice in surprise and was greeted with the face of the young man she was ogling.
A strangled yelp left the young woman’s lips as she blushed at how this handsome young man was looking at her.
“H-hey, did you hear me?” The young man asked again.
“Ms. Amagawa, are you okay?”
“Wow! That was so cool!”
“Did you see the way he ran and caught Ms. Amagawa?”
“Ms. Amagawa is so brave!”
The two young adults were broken out of their trance as the children around them began to clamor in excitement.
Toba turned to the man who was holding her gently to his muscular chest. “S-sorry, I’m fine,” she reassured, patting his chest. “You can let me down now.”
“A-ah, yes, of course,” the young man stuttered as he let Toba down, making sure she was steady. “You sure you okay?” He asked as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Toba nodded, a shy smile on her face as she looked up at the face of her savior. “Yeah, I’m sure. You sure came to the rescue quickly though!”
The man let out a nervous laugh. “Yeah. When I saw you climbing the tree, I started to get worried. It’s a good thing I decided to listen to my gut and stayed around.”
“It really was…”
Toba looked around at the children who were looking up at the two adults expectantly.
“Are you two going to get married now since he swept you off your feet, Ms. Amagawa?” One of her girls asked excitedly, obviously having been influenced by the many fantasy stories.
The two adults turned red at the innocent suggestion.
“Ahah, sorry about that,” Toba apologized as she tried to usher the children away. “My kids have… quite the imagination…”
The man shook his head. “It’s fine. Your kids are really cute.”
Toba laughed as she began to look for her shoes. “They really are. Please excuse me. I need to look for my shoes…”
“Ah, let me get them for you. I accidentally kicked them away when I came running,” the man said as he went over to where her shoes were scattered, gingerly picking them up and handing them to the young teacher aide.
“Th-thank you…” Toba uttered gently.
The two adults looked away from each other awkwardly.
“S-so, do you want to go out sometime?”
“Are you free to have dinner or lunch one of these days?”
The two adults stopped, contemplating what the other had said before bursting out into laughter.
“I’m Toba Amagawa,” the young teacher aide said as she held out her hand for her rescuer to shake, a bright blush on her face.
“Akitaru Obi at your service.”
