While he recognizes that he's had it easier with them - in comparison to how it would've had been with other teams, in terms or teamwork, bts treatment, how valued his opinions are, etc. -, he does see that perhaps signing with them it wasn't really the smartest decision business wise (money, opportunities, etc). At the same time, I think he's grown a kind of sense of responsibility and loyalty towards them, even though he's not getting as much as he could, or even as much as he deserves. It's more personal, I feel like; beyond money.

I think he had his reasons to choose Tottenham, and so it's unlikely that he would've chosen something else if he had to opportunity to go back - considering that the conditions and motivations were the same.

Because he doesn't want to cause any trouble, ever?? It feels like he just didn't want to make the atmosphere weird or ruin their teamwork. Plus, in a way, I think he has been trained and/or conditioned to work through this sort of thing, and not let it affect him in any way. Work comes first; getting good results comes before anything else.

I actually think he's fine with it, for the most part. He looks at his teammates and such, and doesn't find anything that makes him really upset that he's missing out on. It does make him feel a bit lonely at times, and he questions whether or not this "lifestyle" is worth it, but those thoughts pass as soon he gets back to work. Truthfully, I don't even see him being at a place where he can invest into a relationship and provide stability and enough love to the other person.

As of right now, he really doesn't have many requirements, and not even a "type", I'd say. As long as he can connect with them on an emotional level, it's fine. If anything, someone understanding, independent, open minded. I also feel like people who aren't too much into commitment or traditional relationships might attract him too - partly because it's conveninent for him.

Model Buses used to be MY Lovejoy song (it just... really resonated with me I dunno, I feel like it's my Vibe) but then It's Golden Hour Somewhere came out and it knocked it out of the park LMAODJFJGKG

I still adoree model buses eueueue but golden hour is I think more of my Vibe nowww, y'know? Ive grown. Model Buses was younger me, Golden Hour is present me (wild how much one can change in a couple of years). Model buses is still my baby tho ❤️

Also my ranking for Aya has always been all over the place but cfc being that high up compared to all of the other Lovejoy songs is definitely a newer thing. I just.. I love the trumpets in cfc so much. It makes me feel an emotion none of the other Lovejoy songs do. It honestly might one day get above Model Buses. It makes me so happy. It feels truly the epitome of an Indie Movie and that's my fav vibe ever.

The funniest part is like. I tried SO HARD to go into wu&io blind. I avoided every concert video like the plague. I scrolled past all those clips on twt. I even debated not listening to cmwyl but . I didn't want to be that left out so I did listen to it (which predictably made me feel sick of it by the time the album came out 😭) but seeing the titles of all the wu&io songs I got attached to golden hour 😭😭😭 and was already being like "I bet u that's gonna be my fav" but I was like no. I will not be biased. And the first time I listened to wu&io I actually liked poabs the best but I think that's just bc of how fucking shook I was by it being the first song I listened to and when I told my friends that it was my fav they all were like "damn I thought golden hour was gonna be ur fav" but then . I relistened to it again (bc for me it honestly takes at least like 3 or 4 listens for me to properly rank bc I am often someone who will just like the song I hear first, same thing goes with covers. It's rare for me to like a cover more than the og song if I heard the og song first. But if I heard the cover first?? I will most likely prefer that one) and then I was like Oh. Oh it's Golden hour is good. Oh. And then I literally looped it like 5 times in a row 😭😭 leaving poabs in the dust LMFAOFJJFKGF and then as I started to listen to it more Consequences just started vibing w me more than Poabs

Because I watched it twice last weekend, here’s some little things I noticed and thought about Elvis (2022):

In general I love the style of Baz Luhrmann movies and the transitions, same goes for this movie

Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks) said the phrase “the greatest show on earth” twice, which is a phrase associated with PT Barnum (and it fits in with his whole background as a former carnival worker, plus the way he goes about his business etc.)

I have NO idea what accent Col Parker had in this film but I’m not complaining because Tom Hanks talking like that was entertaining

Do love the tea being spilt about Col Parker’s actual history and nationality (or lack thereof) though 👀☕️

The push in on Tom Hanks where he goes “… he’s WHITE” shouldn’t have made me laugh like I did

They mention Elvis’ twin brother Jessie who died at birth; Elvis having a twin was a fact I didn’t know about until 2014/2015 when I went to an Elvis exhibition in London at the O2 with my mum. I don’t know, I guess I just appreciate the fact the film really did its research on Elvis and his family

Before watching this film, I was confused as to why girls and women in the 50s-70s were literally losing their collective minds whenever Elvis sang/danced, but thanks to Baz Luhrmann and Austin Butler, I fully understand now 😍

“Now, I don't know nothing about music. But I could see in that girl's eyes, he was a taste of forbidden fruit. She could have eaten him alive” - oh, I think that girl was thinking of doing something other than eating him 😂

“My wigglin’ boy” “those wigglin’ hips” 😂

THAT ONE BOY WATCHING ELVIS PRESLEY WITH HIS FAMILY AND HAVING A PROPER FULL ON GAY CRISIS I’M-

“CRIMES OF LUST AND PERVERSION” is a hell of a headline lmfao

Elvis was indeed a total momma’s boy, my mum said he was actually never the same after she died, and that may actually have played a part in how he treated Priscilla after she’d given birth (because he didn’t want to have sex with someone who was a mother???)

Speaking of Priscilla…

The film really glossed over Priscilla being 14 when she met Elvis by just calling her “a pretty teenager” and not ever mentioning her age again (apart from at one point where Elvis mentions how they’ll be in love again when he’s 50 when she’s 40?) 💀

Olivia DeJonge actually really looks like a young Priscilla Presley, ngl

Dacre Montgomery turned up like halfway through and I had to try not to yell “BILLY?!?” in the cinema lmao

Tom Hanks Parker really spends 15 minutes repeatedly telling Elvis he “must sing da here comes Santa Claus song”, including putting on his own puppet show 😭😂

Col Tom Parker puffing away on a cigar for literally 90% of the time he was on screen

When Parker is in the hospital and Elvis walks in, he’s smoking literally the biggest and fattest cigar even though he’s lying down and they’re talking about him having just had a heart attack 😂

When Col Parker is making the deal with the hotel owner and the details are being written on a napkin, at one point a drink spill can be seen and it kind of looked like blood??? Idk, I thought it was a nice detail considering the fact it’s argued Col Parker is somewhat responsible for Elvis’ death and for trapping him in a long contract so he can make money

The fact Elvis saying he wants to go on a world tour is punctuated with a zoom in on Tom Parker with a face like a slapped ass, and then he says about wanting to visit Japan and the camera zooms in AGAIN 😭😂

Col Parker saying the only thing that matters is that Elvis gets up on the stage despite the fact he’s super unwell and clearly needs medical help is actually a real thing that happened, which is sad. That man milked Elvis to death

The scene where Priscilla leaves and Elvis is sobbing is so… just so upsetting :( I don’t blame her frankly, but it’s still sad; it’s sad in the sense that Elvis - one of the biggest stars the entire world has ever seen, the voice of an Angel, this mega star - was reduced to sitting in his mansion alone crying, that he went from a sex symbol to bloated and unwell… in the end he pushed away everyone who wanted to help him, and if he did realise he needed the help at some point then it was too late because he’d driven the people who actually cared for him away

Obviously Col Parker is a huge part of Elvis’ downfall but also so many people in Elvis’ circle were using him and living off of him, and even after he died they still made a profit off of him with stuff like selling their stories of him or whatever. It’s just so upsetting to see.

Yeah, so, Elvis didn’t in fact fire Col Parker in a drugged up emotional breakdown in real life but it makes for good drama so 🤷🏻

Elvis saying he wants to fly right at the beginning like the superheroes in his comic books, “I’m ready to fly”, then at the end he gets on his jet/plane after saying goodbye to Priscilla and Lisa Marie and flies off, then there’s a voice over where he talks about swifts which are birds that fly their entire lives and only land when they die, before it shows you the headlines/voice over/news footage announcing Elvis’ death 😭

ELVIS SINGING UNCHAINED MELODY 😭😭😭 My sister, our mum and I were all sobbing on our first viewing at the actual footage of Elvis singing that performance

Actual footage of Elvis was used - not just at the end with the Unchained Melody performance but when there were split screens, sometimes there was some real footage of Elvis performing as well as of fans screaming

I’m pretty sure there was a short clip of (the real) Elvis and Frank Sinatra singing together near the end when they were showing videos of the real Elvis

The way the lights went out at the end until the single light faded and the credits began to roll reminded me of the ending of Great Gatsby (2013, another Luhrmann film) where it talks about the green light and you see it blinking slowly before fading to black

Despite the fact Tom fucking Hanks is in this movie, all anyone is talking about is Austin Butler, and rightfully so. We all know Tom Hanks is great, but this is Austin Butler’s movie and he’s smashed it

I love that people in the cinema didn’t stand up during Elvis’ In The Ghetto playing during the credits but the second the rap music started, everyone literally left 😂

Maybe it’s just because I grew up on Elvis’ music on a near daily basis (thanks to my Elvis super fan mum!), maybe I just don’t like rap, but the remixing covers of the songs didn’t do it for me. Elvis’ music is amazing as it is, we don’t need rap remixes of it :/ I sort of get what the intention/idea behind it was, it just wasn’t my thing personally

Having said that, I liked Kacey Musgraves’ cover of “Can’t Help Fallin’ In Love With You”. That was beautiful and I loved it

If nothing else, I hope this film inspires younger generations to check out the real Elvis’ music 🤷🏻

I know people are accusing this film of glorifying “Elvis stealing black people’s music” but the film made it INCREDIBLY obvious that Elvis was extremely inspired by black music because he grew up in a black neighbourhood. It’s one of the reasons people were complaining about Elvis in the 50s, because racists attacked rock and roll due to the mingling of black and white people it implied and achieved. Little Richard said, “He was an integrator. Elvis was a blessing. They wouldn't let Black music through. He opened the door for Black music." I’m not black myself, so I won’t go on and on because it’s not my place, but for anyone curious, the film does make it clear Elvis was heavily inspired and shaped by black music.

And then there’s the Priscilla/age gap thing… while yeah, that ten year age gap is kinda really not okay by today’s standard, apparently they didn’t do anything until they were married (she was 21 when they married, so an adult). He was very proper about their courtship and went through her parents first, wanting their blessing/consent, and Priscilla in her book said, “For the last time I begged him to consummate our love. It would have been so easy for him. I was young, vulnerable, desperately in love and he could have taken complete advantage of me. But he quietly said, ‘No. Someday we will, Priscilla, but not now. You’re just too young.’” To be blunt, if he was grooming her for sex, he wouldn’t have turned down her requests for sex. Also, back then, I don’t think society had the same views on age/marriage that they do nowadays, which probably factored into it all. I’m not saying he was a five star husband because the record shows he definitely was not, especially after their daughter was born and he got more and more addicted to drugs. By today’s standards, yes, it’s gross - but in the 50s, it wouldn’t have been viewed that way. (For more discussion, I found this Reddit thread here that might be worth a read)

I just think it’s pointless cancelling a man who’s literally been dead for 45 years, and if we were to cancel every musical artist of that time period who did shit that we no longer view as acceptable, we’d have no music artists left so… yeah.

Anyway, as the daughter of arguably the most hardcore lifelong Elvis fan in Britain, I highly recommend this film! My mum and sister were talking about seeing it a third time, and I definitely will if they do!

14. How long does it usually take you to make a set

for real, while technically i can make a gifset within a day or a few, i have a nasty tendency to procrastinate everything, literally everything, even stuff i actually enjoy. and when i do get around to actually making sth i overthink it. sometimes for months. yup. lbr overthinking (alongside chronic lack of spoons) is the main reason i create stuff so rarely and post it even rarer even if i have it finished for a while. i'm trying to improve, okay..? just gonna kick myself more often into calling things finished and posting them, i literally have dozens of gifset ideas waiting to be executed, several art wips (as well as finished pieces), two videoedit ideas, and quite a few k words of both fic and meta… the tricky part is just to get around to all of it

16. How long have you been making gifs

oof lemme see… in June 2020 i made my first gifs that weren't completely horrible cuz before that i was using merely a phone app for this with video editing software (this and this were made this way). and then in February 2021 i finally figured out what was missing from my PS and preventing me from editing gifs there and fixed it. so yeah, i've been relatively new to this, i guess..? though ngl the experience of very spontaneously making two videoedits before trying out proper gifing was a nice starting point

34. A set that took you a long time/was really hard but you’re really proud of how it came out

hm the stardust one is the first that came to mind even though it's more the case of "it didn't receive as much attention as most my other cql gifsets but i'm still quite fond of it" rather than it being particularly time/effort-consuming. not to mention that i'm hardly ever actually proud of anything i create but well, that's just my brain cockroaches messing stuff up. back on track, the WWX gifs in the trust parallel set were a pain to edit but eventually i ended up learning new tricks while groping my way around it so i'm not complaining

okay, if i were really to pick a gifset i'm proud of that'd be the ripples one, no doubts (gonna add the link once i actually finish and post it, i promise). it's the most advanced technically (don't even ask me how long i've been nitpicking it from all directions and how i'm still tempted to drop the current version in favor of approaching it from a whole new direction bc surely it can be done way way better if i just go nitpick it some more! ya know, the usual overthinking) and it's sth very personal to me thematically. the underlying meaning of it is too closely related to liminal spaces (or more like what i simplify as "liminal spaces" as i suspect my own understanding of this concept in general can differ quite a bit from that of other people) so putting it into actual words gets tricky. but this kinda comes with the territory so nothing unusual

48. How would you describe your giffing style

ugh honestly idek if i have one..? for real, i don't think there's anything about my gifs that makes them stand out much. at least there surely isn't anything that i deliberately make sure to integrate every single time (maybe i do unconsciously though, who knows). so i feel like it's more for others to judge ¯_(ツ)_/¯

what i can say is that when i do make gifsets i apparently tend to illustrate some narrative parallels or sth with them..? or just combine scenes with a quote that strikes me with fitting vibes. or both. also i like to have fun with the colors and lighting and use adjustment layers quite heavily (but gotta admit it's hardly an option to halfass this if i wanna my Yi City gifs to look vibrant and alive enough). i suppose alternative subtitles to all my cql sets are a feature of my so called style as well since i always translate them myself instead of going the easy way and copying any of the already existing ones. which is also fun! even if, well, adds to the amount of time and spoons i put into it but what can i say, it's a matter of habit by now

you mentioned that you have a very "personalized" view of the OM boys. if you don't mind, can you explain what that means? is it like you have slightly different interpretations of their actions/personalities and if so, how are they different?

Alright, where to start....

I stopped playing when I hit lesson~ 20 or so, when lessons weren't being pumped out constantly, so I always told myself "I'll get to the latest lesson later" ...but I never did because I went through a big depression episode at the beginning of the pandemic and couldn't find the energy to just enter the game in a daily basis

I slowly fell out of touch with the characters, fandom, and anything regarding the game, and it heightened once I got into Twisted Wonderland

My personalized view is composed mainly of fanon view of characters + analysis/fangirling I did with a friend Can't really tell you how my view of the boys differs from canon because I haven't touched the game in nearly a year and am not up to date with lessons

I'm considering going through all the story lessons to refresh what the characters behaved like and what their mannerisms were, because I know Mammon spoke "a lil' bit like this, ya get? No playin' around" and Levi used A TON of gamer lingo but my memory is veeeeery foggy

Here's what i can tell you about my view of the boys (It's gonna be lengthy)

Lucifer - STRICT AND OVERWORKED, however is very harsh over Mammon. Tends to show his softer side to MC. Is the CEO type of character in otome games: serious and stern, easy to anger. I used to love him but now I kinda dislike him for how he treats Mammon

Mammon - The sweetest of the brothers. Still, very mean when first meeting him. Will sell your body part before becoming friends with you, but once you're close, he shows he cares through gifts mainly The one brother who didn't want to obliterate MC into dust

Leviathan - Otaku shut in who uses outdated gamer slang. Feels somewhat unworthy of friendships, but then is envious of how close you get to his brothers but not him. However, once you spend enough time with him and see past his insecurities, is thankful you're up to understand and spend time with him.

Satan - Cat lover that adores playing pranks on Lucifer, however is quick to flare up when you remark how much he resembles the oldest demon. He kinda "puts you to the test" first, sharing knowledge and ranting about his interests, to see if he's willing to spend time with you. Like Luci, shows his tender side to you in private. I do remember he gets along with Solomon well

Asmodeus - The cutesy seducer. Asmo is secretly starved of genuine attention and affection, be it platonic or truly romantic, not just lust. While he starts off wanting to charm you, he finds himself charmed by you and is a bit lost on what to do. If I remember correctly, he spoke in a cutie way at times? Like, to keep up his cute look?

Beelzebub - He's like a teddy bear, but let's remember he would've deleted MC from this plane if he knew they were partly at fault with the pudding incident. I feel like he warmed up to MC quick and openly talked to them about Lilith, so maybe he does care for them in a similar way to Mammon? I find it cute how there's a shift in "i want the food for myself" to, "I want to share it with you"

Belphegor - Listen, I like this cow bc his design is cute... but It feels off how he quickly accepted MC after learning they're his sister's descendant. Dute to me leaving the game shortly after he was introduced, I don't have a single idea about his character other than he likes to sleep and share naps/the occasional adventure with you and his twin. tho I remember Levi and Satan were cute with him in some chats

Diavolo - I always felt like the prince aches to have someone with who he can truly be freely himself. While he knows how to have fun, he also knows when to be strict and be a proper ruler

Barbatos - ...I just know i FUCKING LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART But ngl he seems a little shady. Needs a break, and I absolutely love how caring he is towards Luke

Solomon - Boy, if I had an idea what this one behaves like other than mischievous and shady. Can't help but think he will end up doing something tremendously plot-twisty

Luke - BABYYYYYYYYYYYY 😭💗 He must be protected, but also really needs to be taught to not be so harsh when judging others. I mean, it's clear he can rely on demons with how he seeks out Barbatos, but still wants to keep a big distance between himself and the brothers. Easy to anger, specially when poked fun at, he's a child after all. and, like a kid, he's somewhat blunt with what he says and does

Simeon - I think he's the one that throws me on the biggest loop bc he is kind and gentle, but also knows when to stand his ground and play tricks on people. I remember him being bad with technology but in some chats he seems to have gotten the hang of it.

As you can see, a lot of these characters I don't really know how they act, I'm VERY out of touch with them I didn't even explain how I think they act orz I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I WROTE THAT TELLS YOU HOW OUT OF TOUCH I AM

but yeeh so... that's it! I hope it somewhat made sense aaaa 🙃

after the main dancer was chosen for each class, they would complete the choreo and decide formations for their performances. one of the benefits of the main dancer was that they were always center. they also had the benefit of wearing more embellished clothing to stand out (most noticeable in x class, where rian the main dancer was wearing orange while everyone else was wearing green). here is the full list (mnet truly has the WORST camera angles, so i only included the full cam ver of the performances):

the judges shared that even though no:ze was the main dancer/in the center/had the most shiny outfit, they didn't really see her. all the other dancers, in their opinion, stood out and overpowered her.

judges shared that lip j was the stand out of this class. she's the girl on the far left at 0:36. (it was originally her choreo but rian was chosen as the main dancer so that's why she is credited.)

*i only included comments that were stand outs.

i'm not sure how much creative input the main dancers were given regarding stage design... they didn't show it in the episode so i'm assuming that mnet just told them to show up and perform (because like, the rainbow thing they shot at the end of the leader's performance seemed so random? it didn't match what they were doing). after each performance, the main dancers from each class were asked to pick someone who they thought was the worst dancer. in doing so, the person chosen would lose points for their crew.

judges also chose an mvp crew they thought were the best. prowdmon (monika + lip j + others [sorry i don't know their names. the show really only focuses on these two]) was selected and this gave them the advantage of choosing which crews went against each other in ep4. so, it wasn't a random lottery draw! in the episode, they only showed the part where prowdmon chose to go against wayb (context: no:ze, the main dancer from the leader class, chose monika as the worst dancer. and this made her mad so she was like we're going against wayb - no:ze's crew). i'm not sure why they didn't show how the other crews were paired up. because ya, coca n butter + hook is definitely an interesting match.

also like, wayb was eliminated from the show after ep4's mission.

and it seems like from here on out, there will be a mission each episode to determine who will be eliminated. i'm honestly not too sure. for their next mission, they're doing a mega crew mission and mnet doesn't really explain it; but it seems like each crew is doing a performance on a larger scale (with more members added to their crew). also, like mnet is ass and doesn't upload all the performances onto their channel..... they only upload the ones that were the most popular/had the biggest public reaction which is why i had a hard time finding the clips for the classes mission. hopefully they do from here on out.

another v long post. thank u again for reading and sharing ur thoughts! always love hearing them. (also, pls let me know if i'm oversharing. u mentioned not caring for the competitive nature and drama so i'm not sure if i was adding too much. there really isn't drama imo. mnet tries to do their best to edit and make it seem that way but when u watch the show, the girls truly root for each other and are friends.)

mnet truly has the worst camera angles i hate them so much. also why are they still streaming on a goddamn potato. the quality is SO bad i can barely see anything!! there's a lot of me complaining in this one i'm sorry in advance.

1. assistant class

i have to assume that whoever they chose as the main dancer is the one that stays in centre because i cannot tell from the clothing at all. i don't think she was a standout performer here, but also the camera and the fire effects are WAY too wild to actually get a good grasp on who even was the standout. i also have to assume that the dancers have no say in the design because design is not a big part of street dance and this kind of chaos screams m 'too-much-money-dont-know-how-to-use-it' net. they built this massive set, barely used it, and didn't leave enough room for the proper formation spacing!! ugh. i hope the judges actually got to see a locked off version of this without all that fire in front of the camera because if i were them i would be squinting down the end of my glasses like a grandma at the screen. that's what i was doing anyways but still.

2. leader class

i have to agree, i don't think noze stood out as the main dancer here. and geniunely i cannot tell that they embellished her costume more. like damn, that stylist took a masterclass in subtlety, because i was easily paying more attention to whoever was wearing those massive thigh high cutout garter stockings and woven bodysuit combo. i am assuming that the point of these challenges was probably to be noticed the most so that they can score points and pick who they went up against for the elimination round? i'm not entirely clear but my point remains; ngl i don't really like this method of creating performance because it means that no one is there to create a performance, yanno? troupe/group choreo like this thrives on teamwork to actually make it a good performance. i know it's a pretty classic method of weeding out people for auditions and stuff like that but personally i find it a wholly uncompelling viewing experience, especially when it's a fully produced stage like this. i know everyone very likely gets along behind the scenes but the incohesion of intent is very obvious. also what's up with the assistant class getting a massive set and the leaders getting a bunch of cars and some smoke pyrotechnics? i mean, i am glad they filmed it during the day, but i am confused by the disparity.

3. sub class

i wish i could describe how poorly mnet shot this. it's not a fucking mama stage, it's a dance stage!! we need to see the choreo properly!!!! and together!!! obviously i don't care about stitching together different takes for the final edit but just...not having a continuity at all in the choreo is a bit jarring. again, i am also not sure how one is supposed to evaluate how well these dancers did, because i can barely see what people are doing. or who the main dancers are. i know i'm railing a lot on mnet here but i can't give an accurate reading of the dancers because legitimately it is so hard to tell what's going on. if they want to bill this as a legitimate dance show, why are they shooting it like a kpop performance? the camerawork for kpop serves a specific function: to add to the visual spectacle and to highlight the idols' faces. you don't need either of those things for shoot choreography, so why do we keep getting closeups of dancers' faces? not that these dance videos aren't spectacle-y or fun, because they very much are, but they really suck at their one primary function, which is displaying the choreo.

4. x class

this is definitely the one where the camera work is the closest to what it should be, but then they go and fuck it up by adding rain! just the groundwater would have been fine, but noooo they had to add the extra rain so there would be extra water drops on the lens!! this is my favourite choreo of all four of these, i think there's the most cohesion and (excluding the rain) it's got a good mix of spectacle with the water and the blacklight and the right camera angles to show the choreo mostly well. i still don't understand why they cut in those sections that don't fit with the rest of the flow though. why. you could have one-taked this and it would have looked dope as fuck. i agree that lip j stands out the most, obviously it's her choreo so it's the best suited to her character and abilities.

if it wasn't a random lottery draw they should at least have the courtesy of showing people why who picked who!! that's the most interesting part! and i'm not that surprised about wayb being eliminated, prowdmon really stomped them into the ground with that revenge energy. i'm interested in this larger scale performances concept, because i'm not really sure what that looks like in this particular context. if they do end up on youtube i will review them! and you're not oversharing at all, the context is fine! i don't mind reading it as information, i just don't like actually watching it with my own eyes. i can't watch that kind of thing in reality tv because it makes me want to sit everyone down like a kindergarden teacher and go "ok, now why are we all yelling?". too many years of tense rehearsal conflict negotiation and i just want to whack everyone upside the head. it's not very cathartic for me lmao. i have no doubt that everyone is friends because dance scenes are small and i'm sure they've all worked together lots, but even just the editing sets off my fight or fight reflexes.

Regarding the quizzes, i have to admit i have taken almost every possible (and proper) genshin personality quiz out there (except the selectsmart one because i get the 404(?) error, making me unable to access it) so just think of me taking most of the quizzes you could ever lay your eyes on.

And dw, it's easy to not find me as an albedo kinnie based on how i try to act online(?) It isn't much a sufficient evidence to analyze someone's personality so it's understandable. maybe because back then i really liked to draw and until now some friends would come to me to help them in terms of artistic stuff(?) And trust me, im really like albedo except the scientific interest— since i am not fond of it xD. and another one could be that i wouldn't pay attention to you if i'm not interested in you, which albedo would do. + albedo finds it difficult to understand people and their emotions— for it is more leaning towards emotional rather than the logical side— which i, too suffer, but we try our best to show that we care! (that's pretty long but i wouldn't hesitate to give explanations if it helps more 😉)

and a continuation for the previous part:

it's not a bad assumption of me being albedo on the outside but xiao on the inside because it kinda makes sense :D moreover, i am glad you see me as that. I try my best to really be polite and kind to people because i believe that treating other's well will also give you good karma back. i am unsure if i kin some of these characters but i'll just list them for you if it might be of help: diluc & kokomi. (Slightly sucrose too but only for the bit of shyness??) Just do ask for clarification and i will try to do so :>

about your kins, i aint lying when i said i tried to research more about hu tao. i do have an impression and view on her but i still tried to look for an overview about her character for refreshing the information better. and tbh i gave up reading the long-ass one i've found so thankfully there's a more shorter reddit post about her character analysis as well. Ngl i was pretty surprised (like i stated on my previous short ask) cuz i really did not expect you to kin hu tao, since i get jean and ganyu vibes from you. and kaeya kin for results?? pretty interesting xD well here's what i could conclude about hu tao according to my research:

— She handles a great responsibility of dealing with the matters between life and death, and so she tries to lighten liyue's view on it and lighten the matter about it with her carefree and quirky personality. I assume that this must also be why she is fond of dark humor?

— Hu Tao is actually more than what most people see her as. And i greatly respect her for that. No matter how she presents herself in the public or how eccentric they see her as, she'll always be someone who upholds the funeral director role with great duty and respect- in touch with her grandfather's philosophy that she lives by. In funeral ceremonies, hu tao shows the people present there a new perspective of her and a more solemnful yet beautiful meaning of death and passing(or maybe of the wangsheng parlor itself), just like the day when she first held her grandpa's funeral ceremony.

— about her grandfather's philosophy, as far as i could remember it goes along like this: "live in life, die in death." Another thing about Hu Tao is that her goal is to live life to the fullest, and one of her fears(?) Is to not be able to live it to the fullest, or if this role of being a funeral director will leave her with regrets whenever her time comes. Maybe that is also one reason why we could see her doing crazy things and pranks as well as doing some poetry and verses on her free time. Furthermore, there's some info mentioned that was like: "Fate can have different or diverse destinies, and death have rules yet unpredictable at the same time."

— as always mentioned by my resource/s in my research, hu tao greatly respects the rule of natural order. Life will always come to an end and the end will be death, but life will also thrive despite some deaths and the cycle goes on. I am unsure if this might be the same worldview you have in similar with hu tao? :> Since this is one of her core beliefs and philosophies that greatly influences her perspective.

It really makes me wonder as to what you think hu tao and you share with each other or why do you relate to hu tao more 🤔 this really left me like 🧍🏻‍♀️ because usually it is hard for me to understand or be able to execute a full understanding of something especially if i think the two things do not simply connect with each other in my first conclusions xD so that's why i might need a few explanations from the person themself.

strawberry-flavored foods aren't my thing(but it depends too) but the strawberry fruit itself seemed yummy (it's been years since i've tasted one but i can remember that it's sweet + sour). I hope you get what i meant xD some foods are better in their flavored form, and some foods are better in their natural form— it depends on the person's taste of course. same :( i feel so uncomfortable and just /sad/ tbh, like i rly thought they wouldn't go there but the fact that they did and they way they did it was in such a cruel way too, so so cruel imo that i just was... defeated and disappointed in a way i thought would never feel with this show. the fact that the only intimate scene they have is that sex scene, the way nadao kept promoting that scene (the countless stills, even making it the poster) just makes me wanna puke now, the way they called it a 'love scene' ("see the behind of the love scene!") when they released the doc this week just made me angry, there was no love there, maybe from oh aew, but certainly not from teh.

i am sad bc even if they try to convince me now that teh loves oh aew, i am not gonna believe it? like you said the kiss was just the cherry on top, the worst was the way he clearly doesn't respect or cares about oh aew at all and i am just so devastated bc it also came out of nowhere for me? like we jump from the end of ep2 to here, and idk what happened?

i guess the only think i can wish for now is that they don't make oh aew hopeless, that they don't make him just take it, that he stands up for himself and doesn't just take him back, i really really hope so but i'm just not sure anymore, my trust in this show is completely broken (and tbh with the scenes we have from the trailer i am just guessing that what i fear is gonna happen, oh aew is just gonna take it, maybe they even make teh be the one to break up with him instead of having oh aew dump him with dignity)

i also angry bc, i thought this part we were gonna see more of oh aew's pov? but his screen time is just so little that idk what to think anymore tbh.

i guess i am just sad and drained. i am relieved i am not the only tho sigh

i'm so sorry for the delay, anon!! i know this was sitting in here for a couple days and i wanted to answer but i was like...i need to not think about what happened for a little bit before i came back to this so yeah...

i think sad is the perfect descriptor for how i've been feeling with what went down. like i was angry right after it, but now it's just settled down into this sadness. it bums me out so much that their first love scene wasn't even a proper love scene too :((( we couldn't even be happy about it...

i completely agree about the ep 2 jump to this...it was like whiplash. we went from them promising to love each other forever to teh just being uninterested in oh-aew and i was like what happened????? by telling the story this way, we miss so much of the nuance that gets us to understand where teh's head is at. like i can look back and sort of get teh's pov now, but it's also bc i had to fill all those gaps in myself. i just feel like there's so much being missed.

and yes, i feel the same. i really thought we were gonna get a lot more oh-aew this series, but he has so little screen time :( and even when he had issues in ep 1, they're basically resolved by the next ep. i want to see more of his own struggles and life when he's not tied to teh. and honestly?? i WANT to see oh-aew be petty and angry. obv he's a very different character than teh so he'll deal with things differently too, but i truly hope that he doesn't just take it too. i HOPE he breaks up with teh first (which you wouldn't catch me saying even just a week ago but here we are...). ngl i kind of just want to see teh realise he's been taking things for granted too late, and for oh-aew to move on and thrive.

i'm so conflicted on this bc i want the both of them to mature and learn from their experiences, and i can def see now that it’s better for them to do that if they’re apart from one another, but bc of how important their relationship is to me, something in me still wants them to work things out (even though logically i know that oh-aew deserves much more than he’s getting rn). either way, it’s hurts and makes me feel so confused too.

anyway, you’re def not the only one feeling this way. not sure how things are going to go in the next two eps, but i hope things will be able to end on a better note. i just hope we’re not sad and drained again by the end of this.
