Alluka + Nanika (again) 🎀
Okay so last time I posted my Alluka/Nanika drawing (in January) I said that I wasn't satisfied with it and that I wanted to do another version. Well I started to draw said version in February (I wasn't satsified with it either) and here I am today finishing and posting it (even though I said yesterday on Instagram that I cancelled it...anyway 💀) but this is all thanks to my sister watching the 2011 anime and getting to Alluka's debut, which caused my motivation to come back!
This version is a good excuse to draw a brown eyed Alluka, because I'm a "siblings-who-don't-look-alike-at-all" advocate, but I also really wanted to try a different way of drawing her with different colors and a more dynamic pose and I'm never satisfied with what I draw these days so I decided to finish it anyway because that's the best thing I could do!✨
I was supposed to draw Gon and Killua since like last year so maybe my next post will be them!
(color variations/Photoshop filters below + sketches and base/sketch at the end)
Hope you like it ! 💕

Need a hxh gamer au
Imagine Ging as this like bigname game developer and his son is just this little sims girlie
Kurapika would def be a speedrunner, don't ask me why
Killua is greed island's worst nightmare, he cheats, he hacks, he figures all the shortcuts and he's dating the developer's son
Alluka is a sims girlie too but she also introduces Gon to animal crossing
Leorio plays the wii. That's it, that's all he does
Most of them create content but Shalnark is like a big name streamer, most of the memes for him come from the fact that he has like ten roommates and everyone simps for his goth bf or catholic landlord
Feel free to add more I can't think of anything else
Alsoooooo Alluka's channel name is Ally&Nanny and new viewers are always confused as to who's the other person running this channel but then in some videos she'll introduce herself as Nanika and the way she plays will be different and there are like different saves for her and some people will figure what's going on but some people will just think she's doing a bit

Alluka (and Nanika) focused drabble, 895 words!
---
There’s a light switch on the wall in Alluka’s room, sitting among the painted-on cheer of the sky and flowers. It’s out of place, but Alluka—whose life consists of this room and her toys—rather likes it, because without it, it would never get dark.
Of course, her family outside this room can turn on the lights if they want, too, but she began to wonder a few years into her loneliness if anyone was even there at all.
Maybe a butler. Is it bad if she misses the butlers?
Or rather, she misses being cared for, other than the barest necessities and the toys. Alluka is a little girl in a little room, but nobody takes care of her or pats her head. Nanika misses that the most, Alluka thinks, her sweet longing seeping into Alluka.
Even when the room goes dark, the little red glow of the cameras that never got replaced with newer, less bright versions still seep in. What she really wants is for the light to start under the door, opening wider and wider, ready to embrace her in whole. Alluka, sleepy and barely keeping her eyes open, tucked in between her large, fluffy toys, watches the door.
Nothing moves, of course, but she wants it to.
This is what Alluka dreams about while she sleeps:
There is a large, bright field. It’s filled with painted sunflowers that don’t reach very high. She can’t remember what sunflowers look like, can only remember that she saw them in picture books and then in her room. She lies in the field and closes her eyes.
A hand touches her head. Alluka leans into it, letting them pet her.
“I want you to be good,” the voice says, high pitched and child-like. “Alluka, if you’re good we can run away together.” He’s taking the form of her brother and she knows it, but she doesn’t open her eyes. She’s scared he’ll disappear if she tries to look.
“Really?” Alluka asks.
“Really.”
And she wakes up happy. There’s nothing in the darkness but her toys staring back at her, but she likes to think that he’ll run away with her if she’s just good enough, if Nanika and her can trick their family into loving them enough. Maybe, if it isn’t too late.
Or she dreams of this:
Alluka drifts along, barely physical. She’s a manifestation, an idea rather than a person. But she wants to be a person, of course she does—her isolation is the only thing keeping her from being real.
She wanders around, putting one leg in front of the other even though she knows in the dream that she doesn’t have to. This place is full of wonderful creatures and plants—these she knows what they look like, even though she knows she never saw them while awake. The vines are thick and strong, and when she climbs them they hold her weight—or lack thereof, in the dream.
“We’re looking for a human,” Nanika whispers in her ear. “Someone who wants a wish granted.”
Alluka looks around. There is no human here—only creatures, strange and wonderful and horrifying all at once—Nanika knows what they do, but Alluka doesn’t. “Where?”
“There,” Nanika says, and shows Alluka how to peer between the leaves, how to spot the shock of white hair. “He’s Zigg. He’ll bring us away.”
“Where?” Alluka asks.
“Home,” Nanika whispers, and somehow Alluka knows that home is not their room that they share, but rather the body, the two of them together. Alluka listens to Nanika, and wakes up hoping that she can be a home even though she has no home to give to Nanika other than her room.
Sometimes, she dreams strange dreams that warp and twist. Most dreams melt away or stuff her head with cotton; they’re not worth remembering, the boring ones that fill her with a reminder that this room is her universe.
But other times, Alluka dreams like this:
Wrapped in the arms of her toys, Alluka feels more than sees the door open. When she lifts her head to look, nobody is there.
An opportunity.
Alluka stands shakily to her feet. Her room is dark and soft, and the hallway is metal and rusty memories, but the light draws her out. She leaves behind those painted sunflowers, stepping quietly through the halls.
“Wish, wish,” Nanika asks of her.
“I wish to get out,” Alluka whispers into the stale air. “I wish that they don’t stop us.”
And they don’t. When Alluka sees her family they are pictures more than people. Her mother’s visor doesn’t even flicker as Alluka walks past. Her older brothers don’t move, still like the toys that watch over her in the room they gave her. She walks out of the house, climbs stairs out of the basement and into the light.
She doesn’t know where she’s going. Even if she did, she knows deep in her heart that she can’t make requests of Nanika.
But when she wakes up, the sweet memory is a reminder that Nanika loves her. Alluka sleeps a lot, and Nanika takes care of their body for her. If only the two of them could escape, if only Alluka and Nanika’s wish could come true.
Alluka rubs her eyes and stands up to turn on the lights for another day of her hope trapped inside her room.
