Thanks for the tag @verstappieatheart, have a nice day! :D
I think I’ve made it very clear in this post I’m (half-)Belgian now, for any doubters out there
Last song: La Bouche’s Be My Lover, I went on another 1990′s Eurodance bender on Spotify last night lmao
Last show: Waarheid, Durven of Doen on VTMGO’s Live section. Before that I watched Telefacts Zomer’s season 15 all afternoon
Currently watching: * Naeil (Tomorrow Netflix Series): The episode material sometimes is heavy so I’m slowly watching it. It is good though. Sometimes a bit over the top but that is a K-Drama standard. I’m at the 3rd to last episode now; * 2005 Japanese Grand Prix: I was watching Kimi kickass racing compilations on YouTube. Then saw one video that dubbed his final stint in this race “the best in F1 history”. P17 TO VICTORY! Watching this also further proves if I started F1 10-15 years earlier than I did (2020), Kimi would’ve definetly been my favourite; * 2015 Belgian Grand Prix: TORO ROSSO MAX WAS A BOSS HERE AT ONLY 17. That overtake on Nasr in lap 11!!!!! Was watching it yesterday, will probably continue when I go to bed tonight. This is to warm-up to the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix lol; * Lisa Telenovelle: Belgium’s most succesful telenovela of all time. The first few episodes are a bit wonky & awkward but once you get to 1x30 it improves A LOT. Favourite episodes are 1x104 “Lisa ontdekt dat ze coke & speed neemt”, 2x72 “Alle puzzelstukjes vallen op hun plaats” & 2x73 “Gert wilt vluchten”; * Waarheid, Durven Of Doen: It’s famous Belgian people eating together in Kortrijk & doing “Truth, Dare or Do”. I watch this out of boredom, mildly entertaining though; * Telefacts Zomer: The Summer-brother of Telefacts. An informational show that’s been around for I think 20 years or more. The 15th season is airing every Tuesday & Thursday on VTM. It talks about a lot of different stuff: from Russia’s lack of road safety/infrastructure to luxurious mobilehomes. You name it, they discuss it. I don’t watch every episode though
Currently reading: News articles usually. I don’t read books
Current obsession: Dutch Wordle & Kruiswoordraadsel on HLN.be :)
I’m tagging @ilrex & @rubendiass, you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to though :D

I’ve started watching Tomorrow and you talked in the tags the other day abt the mctna/tomorrow crossover and !!! okay so I haven’t finished tomorrow yet (ep 5 lmao we’re being slow) BUT! I’ve seen things that I’m fairly sure I understand the spoilers from (I forgot to block the tag and now it’s too late so I’m leaning into it) and so anyway I’m here to say HELLO YES HI! Absolutely please elaborate on this crossover idea because I’m fairly certain I love it already and when I’m done watching I’m gonna wanna yell abt this idea!! 👀👀👀👀
OK SO!!!
the crossover idea was sparked by this naturally and my first thought was omg sung-rok and yeoni welcoming seon-ho and hwi in the afterlife!!!!
then i was like omg what if mctna/tomorrow crossover bc obviously it works - Quite A Few people die in mctna and there's not enough angst in this drama so why not add scenes of grim reapers taking away Yeoni's soul or sth 🤡💀 or sung-rok's but i'm not strong enough to even think about that
ANYWAY i know the RM team did not exist yet at the time if we're following canon timeline but I just kept thinking about seon-ho being suicidal 24/7/365 and how. risk management may have saved him at some point. OHMYGOD I'M REALISING™ I watched ep 13 yesterday and went ok how does Hwi know where Seon-ho is and that he wants to kill himself in this exact moment and - do you know where i am heading with this. ohmygod. let's just say maybe there was a merciful grim reaper at the time who told Hwi in a dream..............
so you kind of see the potential of this.... really love how i am creating an absolutely uncontrollable Beast of Angst here.... mwahaha
more food for thought: would seon-ho and hwi go to hell or not - they went on this mission well knowing they'd die - does it count as suicide if it's a suicide mission? 👀

oh man i have SO many thoughts
okay so first of all i love choi junwoong SO MUCH. he's just so good. SO so good and he tries so hard and i loved seeing him struggle with his choices in the ep with the broker. also the last ep when he's trying to save koo ryeon 😭 also park junggil is just a poor little meow meow. hes cool and strict and all but also he looks like he needs a hug. but they're all neat. the sibling vibes between ryunggu and junwoong has me sobbing theyre both disasters but they care for each other
i was a bit skeptical at first bc i wasn't sure what to think of the methods to talk ppl out of committing suicide but then koo ryeon said that they offer comfort and support and not a solution and i sobbed harder lmao it was good
but then they tackled SO MANY different topics and they did it with so much respect like the arcs with the war veteran and the miscarriage were my faves but just all of them were so good
as for the worldbuilding i know its a cultural thing but i hate that suicide lands people in hell and with their threads of fate severed but i loved that the show addressed how thats fucked up and
but oh man i need a season 2. i desperately want to read the webtoon too but im scared i wont like ot as much but i need more 😭😭😭😭😭
anyway 10/10 would recommend
CHOI JUNWOONG BELOVED. he's just the best boy lbr. and yeah park joonggil needs hugs, and lots of them 😭😭
right?? i was skeptical too tbh!! in the end the show just felt sooo healing :')
the veteran one made me sob so hard lmaooo i was skeptical about it at first but oof it was really really good. i'd say it's one of my faves too!
RIGHT it felt so cruel to me!! but i loved how it wasn't just accepted as a fact and that junwoong repeatedly said how he thought it's unfair - tbh i kind of thought something would actually be done about it but hmm. post canon 👀 material for thoughts for sure! or for a second season (pls 😩🤲)

If it's not too taxing or too weird to ask you, could you summarize the ending of tomorrow? I began watching but honestly i just disagreed too much with the way they dealt with certain topics and stopped. Still, I wanted to know how it ends so bad ;-; if it's too much just ignore this ask it's okay hahahah
hiii anon <3 i COMPLETELY understand what you mean and I've been thinking a lot about how I would have probably hated this drama 2-3 years ago lol. it was simply good timing for me. alright here it comes, tw suicide and spoilers for the tomorrow finale ofc:
I'm not sure how much you've seen, anon, but surely you know that choi jun-woong was in a coma - he woke up in the end without any memory of what happened. When he tried to stop a coworker from jumping off a building, the risk management team and park joong-gil ran into him. They dealt with this with a lot of humor and it was actually quite a lighthearted ending imo.
As for Koo Ryeon and Park Joong-gil - it turned out in ep 13 or 14 (not sure lol) that they had been happily married in a previous life and that after Ryeon had committed suicide (out of shame and guilt for things that happened - tell me if you need details) Joong-gil himself had reincarnated twice, so he couldn't really remember this happening but the wound was very deep so it kept appearing in his dreams. It's also the reason why he was so bitter towards the RM team.
All of the main characters survived and none of their "cases" actually went through with their plans.
not sure if I've forgotten anything important but if you have more questions pls ask!! 💙
