This is my absolute favorite mythological creature, known as the Lamassu!

There are a few variations of it, but typically its a hybrid of the head of the man, the wings of a bird, and the body of either a lion or a bull! It was used as a protection against danger by ancient civilizations, and have been found at Nineveh, Persepolis, and more! They are placed at gateways, indicating that they were used to protect entire cities and places.

 Despite the presence of the beards, writings from the same eras indicate that the Lamassu is a female deity, and that the male version of this creature is known as a Shedu.

The Lamassu is incredibly interesting and I encourage that you look more into it!

He hangs out the other demigods and joins in their competitions of fighting each other. He's always seen wearing a winter coat, even in places that aren't cold.

Isla:Isla is the daughter of Idun. She can restore water to dried up streams and lakes. She can also restore energy to plant life that is about to die. She's usually in her own little world, imagining things while doing her business. She does talk to the other demigods, but that's not very often. Isla is a quiet and distant girl.

Adam:Adam is the son of Honir. He can create things like apples, trees, and life. He can also tell prophecies but has promised Odin only to tell these prophecies with his approval first. He likes to craft things out of clay and wood. Usually, animals and food. He also really likes apples and resting in trees. Adam likes to brag about his creations and saw that they're better than anyone else's. Adam is a very talkative person.

Helena:Helena is the daughter of Hel. She's friends with some of the ghost that live in the afterlife and hang out with them. She also helps her mom escort people's souls to the afterlife. She is avoided by most of the demigods due to being related to Loki, but that doesn't bother her.

Henry:Henry is the son of Heimdall. He has the gift of foresight and can see small glimpses of the future. He also has a horn like his dad that he blows if someone is invading Asgard. He listens to the gossip of the other demigods out of curiosity. He likes to eat cheese when no one is around.

Gabriella:Gabriella is the daughter of Freya. She's also the half-sister to Dylan. She loves gold jewelry and is the most beautiful demigoddess in the Norse Pantheon. She does have some excellent war strategies that she can use in her school, where her class and Dylan's class have a special set of lessons that they learn. She's a huge flirt and uses her good looks to get what she wants.

Siarnaq:Siarnaq is the son of Skirnir. He lives in the mountains because his father is associated with winter sports. He likes to ski, snowboard, and go ice skating. He set up little competitions between the demigods, and they competed for fun. He's also used to cold, unlike everyone else.

Vent:Vent is the son of Fa. He hangs out with Falco and Vendetta. His father's temple isn't visited as much as the others, so he's turned to lying so that offerings can be brought to the temple and his power can grow. He also dislikes a certain Pharaoh in the afterlife because he ruined the first prophecy that he predicted, and it involved him.

Theo:Theo is the child of Tawaret. Like their mother, Theo is represented as looking pregnant because they're a diety of childbirth. Theo is technically a girl and a boy but refers to being gender less to avoid any confusion. They go by the pronouns they/them to make it easier. A lot of the demigods still call him either a girl or a boy though, much to their annoyance.

Aija:Aija is the child of Amun. They were created under mysterious circumstances and live with the God of Darkness, Kek, who they consider to be their big brother. Aija was born without a gender so they go by it/they/them. Kek usually refers to Aija by their name, and everyone else keeps trying to decide their gender for them, despite them explaining to the others that they don't have a gender and use Non-binary pronouns to properly display that.

Heather:Heather is the daughter of Hathor. She is a very sweet woman and is kind to everyone like her mom. She usually talks to the other demigods in the temples and takes walks near the Nile River. She also loves to sing, a lot.

Aero:Aero is the child of Ash. They were formed out of the Oasis plants, water, and sand. Aero is usually chilling at their father's house or at their favorite Oasis. They're Non-binary and the others tend to misgender them as a girl, calling them she/her instead of they/them, which annoys them to no end. Recently, they've become friends with Zane and Rasha, who respect their pronouns and are a lot nicer than most of their classmates. Their classmates at school also tend to misgender them as a girl.

Zane isn't aware that he's the son of Set and is happy with the family that he has. He tries to get along with Vendetta, but he is often ignored by him. His only friend among the demigods is Rasha. They hang out together almost every day.

Rasha:Rasha is the daughter of Bastet. She is a kind girl and loves kids. She's a bit of a troublemaker, getting into trouble every now and then, but she never ment any harm when it happens. She's often avoiding Mirage and Iris because they're always trying to ruin her reputation and get her kicked out of the school she's in. Her best friend is Zane and they hang out almost every day.

Sharon:Sharon is the daughter of Serqet. She is good with reptiles, and many of them are her friends. She doesn't talk to many of the demigods, saved for Silver, and they hang out by the Nile River. She is good at getting rid of poisonous bites and stings from scorpions and snakes.

He's also very ruthless and will not hesitate to show someone their place. He has even had a few fights with Kek before, just to show how powerful he is. Nobody likes Seth and they try to avoid him whenever they can.

Nix:Nix is the daughter of Nephthys. She usually has to deal with Seth and mischievous plots, but she has a better reputation with the other demigods than he does. She usually hanging out the other demigods or making jewelry out of the moon crystals. She is a very calm person compared to Seth, but she doesn't dare to try and stop him out of fear that he'll hurt her.

Vendetta:Vendetta is the son of Anubis. He takes his job very seriously and often has to deal with grave robbers who try to rob the tombs in Egypt. He also helps his father with the mummifcation process. He hangs out with mainly Falco, Oliver, and Vent. He often ignores his younger brother, Zane, and sees him as a pest in his way.

She's usually working at the orphanage for lost kids across Egypt, setting them up for a successful life. She's also a clever girl and uses her brains to get her what she wants. She is envious of Rasha, who got into a school for demigods despite being a troublemaker, and has been trying to get her kicked out with the help of Mirage. So that she can take that spot as she deserves it.

Falco:Falco is the son of Horus. He is also the leader of the cult of Horus. He rides a griffin across the skies of Egypt. He is competitive when it comes to races but will mostly do them for fun. He also dislikes Kek, the God of darkness, and gets annoyed when he sees him visiting a certain Pharaoh's tomb. He is protective of Zane, since he can be a bit naive.

Mirage:Mirage is the daughter of Sekhmet. She's a fierce fighter and a dangerous woman. She's often making fun of Rasha and helping Iris with her goals. Mirage likes to beat up anyone who defies her and makes it clear that she's in charge.

Zephyr:Zephyr is the son of Shu. He travels all over Egypt due to the winds always moving. He is often relaxing in the air. Zephyr loves to race and will accept any challenge to one that is given to him. He will always win them. Zephyr can be a bit overconfident and brags a lot. He's also a fan of pranking Zane.

Raina:Raina is the daughter of Tefnut. She's usually wherever the rain is. She sits on a thundercloud in the sky and watches the rain fall. Sam:Sam is the son of Hypnos. He is a very sleepy kid and will usually be resting somewhere. He does help people who struggle to sleep with potions and dream catchers to catch bad dreams. Sam is friends with Morris, and they hang out a lot.

Emma:Emma is the daughter of Eris. She loves choas, just like her mother. She loves watching mortals in their dismay and finds it entertaining. She has a golden apple that she doesn't let anyone have because it's very special to her. She also considers herself a rival to James, but it's a pretty one sided rivalry.

James:James is the son of Ate. Unlike his mother, James is a lot tamer with his mischief and avoids trying to get anyone seriously injured or killed. He's an outcast to the other demigods, and they want nothing to do with him. Emma is his so-called rival, but he doesn't care. His only friend is Umbra, and they spend a lot of time together.

Umbra:Umbra is the son of Thanatos. Due to some unfortunate events in the Underworld, Umbra had to live on earth until Thanatos decided that he could come back. Umbra is usually avoided by everyone since he's literally death in human form. He's considered an outcast to the other demigods because of the events that happened in the Underworld. His only friend is James, who is also considered an outcast. They talk and hang out a lot.
