- after getting my ass handed to me at least twelve times during the last boss fight, i decided to leave that last principal quest where it is from now and do literally everything else. so that when i come back before ranrok i have become god

- i admit, seeing all the teachers there to help fig and i was JOYOUS (lack of headmaster tho ??? black get your lily-white racist aristocratic ass down there and help your literal coworkers and a 15yo child)

- everytime i have to destroy a piece of equipment to make room for what i find in the crests (i’ve been stupid enough to not do the merlin’s enigmas so far) i die a little because i know i’ll never find them again

- i just LOVE the grapcorn. i’ll name him bessie (mulan reference)

- i am MOURNING for lodgok. why did it have to come to this

- i don’t know about y’all but i never use plants (mandragora, chinese screaming lettuce) or potions other than a shitload of wiggenweld, nor do i have the four categories of spells at all times in my pocket, but not because i have disdain for all that, but because i am at all times panicking. so brutal force it is or nothing

- just in terms of modeling the character, i was skeptical at first of wearing simply the school’s uniform, but now i ain’t never changing. beating everyone’s asses in standard issued checkered green skirt and this green tie may be used for strangulation

- i don’t know if it’s supposed to be the same thing for the playing character regardless of house but. why do i feel like since i am in slytherin i act in a certain slytherin way. like have the developpers been smart enough to match unchoosable personality with housing. that would be cool

- more whimsical colourful adventures, less dark tombs exploring that i only get out of at the ass crack of dawn with blood all over me and five new traumas

#song of the day #cybersecurity videos completed today and we moved on to various types of workplace harassment and bigotry #what fun to complete four years' worth of compulsory office trainings back to back #surely tomorrow I will finish my gen-ed requirements and get to actually learn about finances. surely tomorrow. #anyway I couldn't mute or fastforward today's videos so I gave myself ten minutes to read fic as a special treat after each one finished #and at one point a character in the fic decided to use his heart and not his head and The Script started playing so loudly in my head #and did not leave #anyhow yesterday I said I'd give my two Teen Wolf song-related-fic-recs today and here they are! #fic rec #'with bloody feet across the hallowed ground' by owlpostagain - in which Stiles tells the literal truth! and it's a glorious trick! #absolutely delightful story. ticks over like perfect machinery. hits every emotional beat and then some #and 'The Sound As They Broke It Was Fearsome' by skoosiepants #an interesting setup--Teen Wolf and HP universes sort of merged--the Hale House is infinitely worse than the Shrieking Shack #also good character work but mostly it's the creativity of the merged world and the way it's introduced in the story that catches my mind #very good showing and not telling. what I think of as 'inset exposition' built right into the story #also it's a good song! 'I Guess I'll Forget the Sound I Guess I Guess' by Bodies of Water. some of the most memorable delivery ever #'up til that day I would hear them / and the sound as they broke it was fearsome #that was until your arms opened up wide / and the treasure therein was made mine'

Interesting formations in the bottom of a cocoa powder container #2. more pressed four leaf clovers for the year. found all in one day #3. ladynoir as sskk, adrien as atsushi and marinette as akutagawa, thoughts?

i know akutagawa is more-so the destructive one but beast beneath the moonlight tearing through abilities feels very catacylsm adjacent to me + also cat motif + belt as a tail in their outfits. marinette is red and black and you can make the argument that akutagawa making a bunch of different shapes with rashomon fits the idea of creation, and also its funnier to imagine marinette in the role of a port mafia member whereas adrien would fit perfectly with the agency gang

also akutagawa has perfect control over rashomon (ladybug generally being in control sort of) but atsushi ddidnt have AS much control over the werebwast (kinda like how adrien sometimes gets angry and cataclysms his dad . anyways)

I REALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF ADRIEN IN THE AGENCY. a found family for him… makes me tear up fr he deserves it also idk what anyone says Marinette is a gangster girl would fit right in with the port mafia

i hate how difficult making massive projects is when it comes to art i am having the GREATEST idea for a video game but the only way it can come to actualization the way it needs to be to make it work is if i could get it picked up by a triple A studio

#its a third-person post-apocalyptic urban(?) fantasy digital!eldritch horror that #doubles as a cosmic horror in that certain characters *understand that they are in a video game* #with a DELICIOUS twist at the end and all these different stories lining up #and a very specific way where you can have multiple saves of different characters - skyrim style - #and different choices you make and the way they impact the narrative from there on out - #literally bleeds across game files. the crux of the plot is that the 'code' of the universe is corrupted and falling apart and #there are all these glitches and if a character gets 'corrupted' - different versions of them from other game files will #merge with them sort of and they react to the player based on what decisions they made involving that character in a different save #AND THERES A WHOLE PLOT WITH THESE TWO PRIMORDIAL BEINGS AND THEIR BATTLE AS OLD AS TIME (THE GAME ITSELF) #AND HOW ONE OF THEM KEEPS RESETTING THE GAME EVERY TIME THEY GET CLOSE TO LOSING #SO EVERYONE'S MEMORY IS WIPED #AND ITS WHY NO ONE KNOWS HOW THEY GOT TO THIS WORLD OR WHY THEY HAVE CERTAIN ABILITIES/ETC #and theres magic but its like shitty unbalanced magic where people can sort of casually fuck around with time loops and vortexes and #give themselves cool body modifications like horns or wings or something (like character creation!!!) #I JUST.
