i really would like to see an analysis of this. like we have such an 'i hate my wife' culture that when we see men not hating their wives, and we all know it's the bare minimum, it's still so refreshing and that's weird.

your wish is my command!

first of all, there is no piece of fanfiction i reccomend more than the "Bionic Coping Mechanism" series by MartinKBlackwoodESQ. i'm literally rereading it right now. it's a somewhere else story written entirely in dialogue format with insane worldbuilding and it's insanely funny. best thing i've ever read easily 10/10. the series consists of a finished 81k fic, a recap of said fic and an unfortunately unfinished sequel, but you have to give this one a go. it is so worth it.

for more longer fics, i also reccomend:

"Foggier Yet, and Colder" by mimikutie - a bit out of season for this one, but its a great read with a very interesting exploration of the characters and Actually Evil Jurgen Leitner

"Like A Fly" by Prim_the_Amazing - always a good read for when you need some good ol fucked up avatar romance

"This Lonely Knight" by arthureameslove - an au with very interesting story and compelling worldbuilding. full of enemies to lovers goodness

"A Home For What Loves You" by TheWrongShop - when it comes to s1 canon divergence, i feel like this is one of it's the best little 'tropes'. this fic is very well executed and a fun read.

i also have a bunch of fics that are a bit shorter but have nonetheless occupied my mind for several weeks upon reading:

"Fools in Love" by CirrusGrey - this fic is a fun tma spin on it's own trope. it is also very cute.

"Non-Conjugal Visits" by shinyopals - martin blackwood gets annoyed for 6k words (incredibly fun fic and incredibly fun ending)

"The Perfect Valentine" by Prim_the_Amazing - this is literally so cute reading it makes me giggle and kick my feet

"Sam nie pojmuję, jak w twe zajdę progi" by Mad_Maudlin - only halfway through reading this one did i realize how good it was - when i put the pieces together and realized what was happening, i had just the biggest grin on my face. so good.

Lovebirds by green_tea_and_honey - sweet funny jmart fluff what more do you need. i can also confirm it is accurate to real life.

Office Party by chewsdaychillin - this ones a bit longer than the others but i feel like it's a good exploration of their relationship thru the entire series

Clutching Daffodils by Gemi - probably the most original spin on hanahaki ive ever read. doubles as a great read in general

Ask a Compelling Question by DotyTakeThisDown - i love jon's characterisation in this so much. incredible concept, but even better execution

a little love, a little sympathy by Did - in which martin's falsified cv is not his biggest, darkest, most evil secret..... needing comfort is!

Martin Blackwood and the Power of Research by boredshyandbi - in which jonathan sims has insane infodump game. when i read this for the first time (and every other time) my face muscles actually hurt from smiling.

Not On My Watch by CirrusGrey - in a universe where the institute is a normal workplace, elias bouchard is still a big douche. jon will not stand for this.

Biscuit Week by chewsdaychillin - what if tma was the great british bakeoff. i think about this everyday. also part of a series theres a part 2 :)

Caramel by Louffox - not your typical coffeshop au. this ones hilarious

"Any Version of You" by CirrusGrey - a series of oneshots made for jonmartin week 2024! each one is super good though can't reccomend it enough

there's also an ongoing fic called "Running with the wolves" by NohaIjiachi i've been enjoying! it's going in a direction i really like.

there's WAYYYY more reccomendations, but this post is getting super long, haha. just vaguepost about needing more fic recs when you need me.

Hello! It's occurred to me that I've never done a proper introduction post, for as long as I've had this account, so here it is! I'll be including both my Twitter and Discord at the bottom, in case anyone wants to add/follow me on either! <3

For starters, I go by both Dee and Saturn! Either name is fine for me, so it's really up to you! My pronouns are she/they, though I really prefer they/them when it comes to people I don't know/acquaintances. i’m 19, so i’m a baby adult compared to a lot of ppl in this fandom. i’m also native american and yt. don’t ask me abt blood quantum unless u feel like having ur eyeballs poked

i love horror in all medias. i’ve consumed way too many horror movies for my own good, including some really shit ones (lookin’ at u, slither 👀👀). some of my favorite video games r horror games, such as resident evil, tlou, prey, etc.

speaking of games, i also enjoy other games that r not horror! such as: animal crossing, legend of zelda, stardew valley, tbcte, hollow knight, fallout, skyrim, minecraft, genshin impact, pokémon, sims, etc. i also play way too much bitlife and wordscapes for my own good.

music-wise, i listen to a wide variety of artists, but i mainly listen to mxmtoon, marina, cavetown, ntmc, lovejoy, taylor swift, and mcr. there’s also a bit of lorde, pomme, and mitski. i think mcr stands out the most but it’s my comfort band dont @ me.

O quão complicado vai ser assumir larry,bbg e que o Harry provavelmente não e cis?

eu adoro falar sobre isso e adoro ouvir a opinião dos outros.

tudo sempre será mega complicado, principalmente no mundo em que vivemos e como os dois tem como vida e o trabalho. E esses três assuntos são mega delicados para muitas pessoas.

Vou separar por tópicos:

babygate:

se continuarem com a narrativa de boobiegate vai ser mais tranquilo de terminar porque o louis só vai sair como bobo em que acreditou em uma garota qualquer. Mas se você está falando sobre assumir que houve um babygate e ele sempre soube que não era pai, vai ser muito mais pra frente ou nunca.

Por que nunca? A maioria das pessoas usam como argumento "Meu fav nunca envolveria uma criança nisso. Meu fav não é desse jeito." 99% das vezes o artista não tem controle do que a gestão impõe, as coisas simplesmente acontecem e são obrigados a seguirem. Por conta do tanto de ódio que o louis possa levar, ele não vai falar. As pessoas vão esquecer em algum momento. Quase ninguém sabe que ele tem filho, só as pessoas que estão no fandom.

E por que bem mais para frente? Porque, como eu disse, vai chegar um momento em que ninguém mais vai lembrar sobre a existência do filho, então o louis e o time vão conseguir trazer o assunto com um roteiro mega planejado, vai meter o louco na gestão e vai ser delicado para não receber ódio por terem envolvido uma criança no meio. E eu também acho que vai demorar muito mais para eles falarem porque vai sim influenciar no dia que larry se assumir, vão acabar perguntando sim sobre o suposto filho, e então o louis vai sair como traidor ou vão ter que falar que eles terminaram em algum momento para que o louis tenha tido a oportunidade de ter feito sexo com a Briana. Mas por eu não acreditar que eles vão se assumir como casal novo e nem que terminaram, eu acho que vai demorar mais.

não é uma ilusão acreditar que larry vai se assumir e falar que estão juntos há 10 anos. Tem muita história de pessoas que foram presas pela indústria e se assumiram não somente como parte da comunidade, como também em um relacionamento.

Exemplo: Garret Clayton

O ator, dançarino, cantor e modelo da América do Norte não apenas disse que é gay, mas também falou sobre seu relacionamento oculto em um belo post no Instagram em 2018.

O ator disse que era obrigado a ter relacionamentos falsos. Garret viveu com relacionamento de stunt por 4 anos, mas em 2018 assumiu seu noivado com Blake Knight, eles estão juntos há 8 anos. Eles começaram a namorar em 2011 e seu stunr começou em 2013.

“Eles olharam para mim e disseram: 'Ninguém quer um homem gay, eles querem ir às compras com ele, então temos que cuidar disso.' "

"Literalmente tive que mudar tudo sobre mim naquele momento, ou eu nunca conseguiria um emprego."

Clayton também disse que era obrigado a usar roupas esportivas e fazer exercícios porque ficaria mais "másculo".

Se eu fosse eles, eu falaria tudo o que aconteceu/acontece e eu acredito que é o que eles vão fazer. Se eles ja estavam de saco cheio na época da 1d e seguraram muito pra não falar tudo o que pensavam, não será quando eles tiverem a oportunidade que deixarão passar batido. Me poupe. E sim, esta demorando porque são 10 anos de manipulação, 10 anos de histórias sendo criadas/contadas para boi dormir, são 9 anos de um namoro falso, 6 anos de bebê falso. E  também está demorando porque eu acredito que o Harry quer se estabelecer mais na indústria de filmes/séries (e eu acho que my policeman pode ajudar) e o Louis só lançou o primeiro álbum, eu acho que ele também quer de fato se encontrar mais no meio da música e encontrar o seu próprio som. E além disso, tem o babygate que vai influenciar sim quando se assumirem e por esse motivo que vai demorar mais um pouco justamente para conseguirem montar tudo bonitinho. As beards precisam acabar e talvez seja montado a narrativa de amizade. Essa narrativa de amizade, eu acredito que na verdade é só poderem falar um do outro sem nenhum problema em entrevistas, o nome dos dois aparecer juntos, notícias que estiveram juntos em algum lugar, etc.

E sim, se eles falarem toda a merda sobre a sony (culpando-a por mantê-los no armário), tem grandes chances de ter consequencias, óbvio. E a sony tá muito bem ligada nesse rolê e por isso que em menos de 1 semana que o louis anunciou que tinha saído da syco, a sony e o simon decidiram se separar, o que não faz o menor sentido se for olhar com a visão de alguém de fora. O Simon era o cara que mais trazia cliente por conta de três programas de tv.

harry não ser cis:

acho que será como qualquer outra pessoa se assumindo. Vai sofrer as consequências, muitas pessoas vão achar que é mimimi e vão desvalorizar. Mas acho que será parecido como foi com Sam Smith que pediu via Instagram para chamarem com pronomes neutros ou Eliot Page que se assumiu trans. Depende de como o harry vai querer e quando.

Tanto larry quanto o harry falando que não é cis, depende de ambos. Quando ambos se sentirem confortáveis e prontos, eu estarei aqui esperando de braços abertos para apoiá-los.
