If I had a nickel for every piece of media i like or had liked that has a cute looking character that wields a giant hammer i’d have three nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it’s happened thrice now.

i don’t like pokémon because of the competitive online battles or the satisfaction you get from finding a shiny. i like pokémon because i get to imagine my tinkaton running and leaping into my character’s arms with pride after she wins our fourth gym badge. i like pokémon because my tinkaton can’t sit still for long enough for me to get a good screenshot of us hanging out. i like pokémon because i get to imagine the joy in my tinkaton’s eyes as she absolutely demolishes a trainer’s team with her big ass hammer and looks back at me to see me cheering her on. i like pokémon because i get to imagine my tinkaton finally finding her footing amongst my other team members after the other five have already been established for the last 20 hours of play time. i like pokémon because i can make my tinkaton food and play with her and make sure she is clean and well rested. i like pokémon because i got to name her KETTLE. and i like pokémon because i get to be Kettle’s best friend in the whole wide world, and she gets to be mine.

The insistence that that Irida is a minor is wild to me because that would mean Adaman spent the entire main storyline beefing with a teenager, and Adaman doesn’t waste his time on stupid things.
Anyway, she’s an adult—Rei literally, canonically refers to her as a “woman” early in the game—and there is nothing weird about speculating she and Adaman eventually end up together and have children that branch off into descendants like Barry and Perrin.
GF seems to be pointing in that direction anyway, as Irida suggests she and Mai (Adaman’s sister) talk about Adaman frequently, and Adaman himself starts to make more friendly overtures toward Irida postgame, including him arranging that the two of them should take a photo together (as a “symbol” of Hisui’s bright future — good lord, I could do up a whole post about the implications of Adaman thinking he and Irida being together means good things for Hisui and is a subtle hint at eventual clan unification) and the strong possibility that he asked her to come perform in the Diamond Clan Settlement. (Really, who else but Adaman would have invited Irida to perform the flute among the Diamond people?)
And look at this art from Take, the person who designed Adaman and Irida:
Tumblr media
The tension. The closeness. It is easy to read the pair as falling into the enemies to lovers trope by design.
This toes into noncanon land, but I’ll also talk about Masters because it gives us more insight into what their relationship is like postgame. In story mode, Adaman and Irida argue, sure, but there’s also a level of synergy between them that’s very interesting. They finish each other’s thoughts. They bounce ideas off each other. They consult with each other (off screen) and decide to stay on Pasio and place their Pokémon into Poké Balls.
And then, in the trainer lodge, their favorite conversation topics include each other. For those who don’t play Masters, the lodge is an area where you can interact with and build friendships with various characters through conversations. In short, you select from a randomized list of conversation topics, and each character has a three-tier list of possible conversation topics; the more the character enjoys the topic, the more points you score. “Irida” is a top-scoring conversation topic for Adaman, and “Adaman” is a top-scoring conversation topic for Irida. The game makes it obvious that in spite of their bickering, they’re now friends!
In conclusion: Ship away, my friends. The fanfic practically writes itself.

As someone who has played many Pokémon hacks if you want a good intro into pokemon hacks I suggest Pokémon Gaia
Tumblr media
It’s my favorite Pokémon hack and probably the most original one that sticks to the theme and classic tropes of official Pokémon games
Not only that but the main characters actually look like official Pokémon characters
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can tell a lot of thought was put into this in trying to be original but still giving it that authentic Pokémon feel

💝 VALENTINE DAYS SPECIAL!!! 💝
Finally!! Sooo...to celebrate Valentines Day, I decided to make a top 10 of my current favorite ships. This list has changed a lot over the years and probably some spots will eventually be replaced by others, but for now, lets meet the ones who proudly stand here right now!!
TOP 10: POSTWICKSHIPPING 🌟🐑
Tumblr media
As I stated in a previous post, I'm a fan of the childhood friend trope, so maybe it was destined for me to like this ship. Upon first meeting hop, I didn't expect him to be such an interesting rival, but now I can truly name him as one of my favorite rivals/characters of all Pokémon games. he is cute, he is funny and in need of a much deserved hug, his dynamic with Gloria is really entertaining and their relationship has still many points that I would really love to explore more. And so, they are the perfect start for this list!! 🤗🤗🤗

My Unorganized Thoughts About Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC: Part 3
MOCHI MAYHEM
M̸̤͇̓͂̓͐̓̄̑̆̽͗ơ̸̡̧̧̛͉̻͈̮̹̥̤̠̤̿͌͆̏̅̐̒͋̽̄̉͜͜͝c̸̙̗̱͋́͋͌̾̀́͐̾͋̓̾͜h̶̢̩͈͕̮́̔̎į̸̢͓͎͕͕̱̆̉͗͜͜͝ ̸̼͔̑̈́̎̐̔͒͘m̸͈̜̠͕͙̱̣͕͐́̉͌͑̽́̑̐͊́̀̕o̶̧̢͉̪̦̊̈́̄́͐̉͐̐̚̕̚͠͠c̷̢͍̫͈̥͚̯̱̈́̿̀̏ḫ̷͊̿̊̄̌i̸̲̝̯̗̪̺̻̘̇̍̂̀͂̀͒͛̌̔̈́̕͜

Probably my least favorite out of the trilogy.
Which is weird considering how much I love the possession trope and my boi Pecharunt.
But the way they just did it felt like a giant middle finger to me and everyone else who even remotely liked the Toxic Chain Kieran Theory.
First off, Kieran does not get possessed, in fact, he's the only one to NOT get possessed. Ironic.
Second, what the characters do when they're possessed... well... you've probably seen it by now
Tumblr media
They do the fucking chicken dance while screaming "Mochi".
Which.... yeah. It's stupid, it's embarrassing, and I do not like it.
And yeah I can see why some people might enjoy it, but I just don't.
Oh but it gets worse (or better, depending how you feel about this)
So with the whole town under Pecharunt's control (and them doing the stupid dance) the player and Kieran go to stop this mayhem and get people back to normal. Boom, the end.
So, why don't I like it?
It's just... embarrassing. Gamefreak has hyped up Pecharunt and made them out to be a legitimate threat.
It could've been cool with Pecharunt slowly spreading its control to both people and Pokémon and wanted world domination.
We could've have an actual evil Pokémon in a main series game instead of an evil team! Pokémon are sentient, they're intelligent, they know the difference between right and wrong.
But, we didn't get that. In fact, this meme I made perfectly sums up how I feel
Tumblr media
Point is, they hyped up Pecharunt out to be this puppet master, this shady manipulator, this evil Pokémon who desires control over people and Pokémon, but also gives them what they want. It stole Ogerpon's masks and killed her trainer for crying out loud!
Oh, which reminds me!
T̷͍͊̉̇͛H̷̩͂̒Ẻ̶̱͇͖ ̸̖̤̠̻͛Ṵ̵̱̊̑̑Ǹ̸͎̺̋̈̕T̶̟͒͌̀͝O̴̞͉͍̰̓͊L̸̦͗́̈́̕D̴̼͍͜͝ ̷̀ͅS̸̰̬͓̙͆̋͝T̸̛̯́̈͝Ỏ̴̲̠͠R̷̘̻̕Y̷̢̐ ̴̛̜̼͋́̓Ŏ̸̭̙͓̍̔̿F̶̢̫̦̄̔ ̸̨͙̘̇̀P̵̩̬̄͂̈̕Ē̴͓̟̘͓̓͘C̶͔̽͐̔H̶͖̜̓̎̉A̸̲̹͓̭͊̓̇̽R̸͖̔̓̈́U̷̘̖̫͐̂̅̏N̶͍̰̋̕T̸̢̿
If Mochi Mayhem was Gamefreak giving us the middle finger for liking the Toxic Chain Kieran Theory, then this is them curb stomping us to the ground.
If you had ANY more hope that Pecharunt was this manipulative evil gremlin, then it's better for you to just give up that hope so you don't end up crushed.
So, in this YouTube video we learn that Pecharunt was raised by an old couple and since Pecharunt wanted more love, it gave the old couple its mochi and it made them greedy. The couple then tasked Pecharunt to steal Ogerpon's masks and bring them back.
See guys? Pecharunt was told to get the masks by the old couple! The old couples greed were responsible for this!
They really couldn't have Pecharunt be evil by itself, they had to pin the blame on the old couple. And yeah, Pecharunt was greedy, it wanted more love. But STILL
And yes, I'm aware that the old couple is a reference to the Japanse story of Momotaro, but this shit SHOULDVE BEEN EXPLAINED IN-GAME
I should not have to go watch a YouTube video to figure out its basic motivation!
I even thought of an idea where if someone could take Pecharunt to the crystal pool they could see the old couple again. It would not only explain Pecharunt's motivations, and give Pecharunt some closure.
Ṱ̷̢͕̘̥̓̕H̶̤̽̈̂̈́̿͘E̶͉͎͇̮̼̭̟͒͒̆͑̅̄̀̚͠ ̷͇͉̭̝̘̹͖̼͇̙̹̲̺̦͌̐̌̏͂̌͛̄͌̾̃̕M̷̨̨̧͎̫̪̜̭̯̺̬̥͔̲͒̓̒̊͆̈́͌͗̐Ǔ̶̡̖̜̖̏̆̏́̎̋̈̓͑̕̚S̵̨̨͔̠̖͐͆̄͜Į̶̧̡̛̜̲̘̘̙̠̠͇̮̳̐͐͗́̀͗̐́̐̏̀̐͝C̸̪̖̜͖̱̜̰̻͚̟͍̮̋̇̏̀̀͋̐̂̒̾ͅͅ
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: The music is a banger. I like how Pecharunt's theme is similar to the Loyal 3, it's about the few connections the game ever makes.
S̷̡̛̤̞̟̥̮̆͒̀̉̔̋̂̀͂͘̕͘U̶̪̰̯̞̲̟͖̭͖͓̺͚͇͋͛̈́̂M̴̨̨̧̛̟̖̖͙̞͙̀̄̄́̅́͗̓̏͘̚͠M̸̦̯̦̱͎͙̲̞̌̆́̍͘A̶̡̛̜̙̘͙͍̪͐̿̎̑͐́͐̾̍ͅR̷̢̩̘͇̳̭̺͍͙̮̬͉̱̰͐͜Ỳ̷̧̨̮̱͓̺͎͛̌
Is it finally over? Can I see the sunlight again?
Jokes aside, I'm ready to get this done with.
So yeah, Mochi Mayhem.... it wasn't the best in my opinion. It just felt too silly, and didn't take the whole possession thing seriously. I didn't really feel anything about canon Pecharunt other than a mild inconvenience.
I know some like Mochi Mayhem and that's fine! It's okay for people to like how things went!
I just feel a bit disappointed. But I suppose that's the danger with fan theories, it gets your expectations too high.
Nothing was really explained. I'm not expecting them to spoonfeed the audience, but I wish there was more things that were explained!
The Untold Story of Pecharunt, The Loyal 3 and Pecharunt's connection, what brought the Loyal 3 back, these are things that should've been explained in the game.
Gamefreak, if you're going to have some red herrings in a story, there needs to be some foreshadowing to help cancel it out. When all of the evidence points to Kieran getting possessed/influenced and Pecharunt being a legitimate and intimidating threat, you can't expect us to NOT be disappointed.
I guess the only positive I can say (besides the music) is the interactions between the Area Zero gang and the Kitakami siblings was fun. I enjoyed that.
But yeah, those are my thoughts.
Plot: 3/10
Characters: 5/10
Music: 100/10
Pokemon Lore: -2/10
Overall: 3/10 (I'm being generous here)

Is there a particular scene/episode/book you'd like to write for over and over?
Ig this doesn't really apply to RPF lmao but I never get bored of reading different takes on ESC era Bojere in particular. I haven't written that much about them myself but them during Eurovision hits different ngl Also as for other fandoms, definitely Pokémon. I don't rlly publish my Pokémon fics but the possibilities are endless <3
What's your favorite spicier trope to write?
Definitely jealousy/possessiveness 👀 Especially in Bojere. I'm actually planning on doing a chapter centered around jealous Bojan in my deaf! Jere fic sometime soon🤭 There's just a lot of fun with that concept. Crossdressing is also an enjoyable trope to me ^_^!

Conrtoversial onion: object Pokemon are good and to point at them as proof that they "ran out of ideas" is ridiculous because 1. they make up a very small percentage of any dex, really and 2. it does take a lot of creativity to take something that isn't even alive and make it feel like it could be. Garbodor is my best friend
YES. Especially because object mon are so often judged completely at 1st glance instead of being examined for what they fully are. A Pokémon shouldn’t be given value based on “object or not” but rather how they use “object” in their design
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Garbordor line, Klefki, and the Chandelure line are pretty frequently harped on, but I think they all use the nature of “object” very well.
Trubbish and Gardordor aren’t plain old piles of trash. First, they use trash bags to give them dimension and proper shape. Then they use that shape to give cues to alley / trash cats (Trubbish being featured in official artwork with other cat mon) and literal dust bunnies. Furthermore, I hate the notion that they’re an example of “running out of ideas”, Unova is based on New York City, of course they’d take a jab at pollution, especially since they complete the trifecta of Muk and Weezing. Water pollution, air pollution, and now land pollution. Not to mention that to me, they just look like friends! They don’t even have a foul order if eating a proper diet.
Klefki is, well, easy to insult. It’s design on it’s own doesn’t move very fair beyond keychain, a personified, charming, and very cute keychain, but still a keychain. However, if you look at them as whole, it’s concept is crystal clear. It’s a Fairy type, after all. It’s a very common trope for fae creatures to take interest in human objects and such without quite understanding what they are. Klefki is fascinated by keys, so collect keys it will.
When it comes to the Litwick, Lampent, and Chandelure, the immediate thing to acknowledge is that they are, well, ghosts. The possession of objects is ghost trope 101. Even then, they’re not just possessed objects. Litwick’s nature as a melting candle is used to personify it, it has a little hair cut, a mischievous grin, and tiny little hands. It creates a simultaneous cute and sinister character very effectively. Design trends like these carry throughout the line. Lampent uses its fire to form a mouth and its handles to create surprisingly natural arms. The artwork of real life chandeliers is used give Chandelure very seamless eyes and mouth, along with its candle holding features becoming still expressive arms. Three stage lines run the risk of middle stage syndrome, where the middle stage is an awkward middle ground between the first and final stages. Lampent however, can function completely on its own. This line uses a very natural progression of different objects to advance through evolution that gives each stage its own identity. Furthermore candles, lanterns, and chandeliers are very ghostly I’d say. How common is it in ghost media would a character take a candle stick or lantern to guide them through the haunted house or forest? Making it so that the candle is what’s haunting you all along, is brilliant.
Even with Pokemon I don’t like all that much on a personal level, there’s still merit to their designs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Voltorb and Electrode don’t seem like all that much on their own. They’re just living Pokeballs, how lazy! You have to realize that they’re Pokémon’s installment of the RPG trope of mimics. You’re supposed to go after them thinking “oh cool an item!” only to be met with either angry eyes or a smug grin that explodes in your face. It’s genuinely clever and charming when properly contextualized.
Vanillite, Vanillish, and Vanilluxe aren’t my favorite Pokémon, but I strongly disagree that they’re “just floating ice cream”. The line uses snow to decorate themselves to charm their way close to prey so they can freeze them to death. Those aren’t even their eyes, just apart of their charmingly innocent ruse. I particularly like their cones, using sharply defined icicles to be their base body is genuinely cool. I also like this small bit of world building with just their existence, there’s an implication that the Pokemon world invented ice cream from inspiration from these mons.
TLDR: Object mon are good, actually.

POLYGAMY. In "A Flight for Life," this week's Letters from Watson, young Joseph Stangerson just oh-so-casually mentions that he currently has but four wives, while young Drebber (proven uncouth by having his hands in his pockets and whistling) already has seven.
Poor Lucy! Having come into the chapter with the assumption that, since other wives hadn't come up in Brigham Young's original visit, Lucy would be wife #1, this revelation seems much worse. Women are not Pokémon: no need to catch them all.
As an aside, where are Lucy's friends among the girls of Salt Lake City? Ferrier attended religious services. She must surely have socialized with other girls. Making her Not Like Other Girls seems othering toward the rest of the women: whether they were stolen from wagon trains, born to the culture and miserable, or born to the culture and relatively happy in working the system to be comfortable-ish, they were also people with thoughts and value.
Utah's Adventure Family does a photo tour of the Jacob Hamblin Home, where the parlor seems plausible to envision as Ferrier's parlor, right down to the rocking chairs -- here. Hamblin's stone house was built as part of a mission to convert the local Paiutes. Part of the reason for that U.S. Army expedition in 1857 was fear that the LDS community was turning the native peoples against Americans (which, given how badly Americans and our government treated the natives, would not be that difficult to do).
Horror! Mystery! Ninja Danists! White hero who knows the ways of the native peoples! (That's a trope.) Does Lucy know anything that's going on? Her Victorian purity seems to be winning over her Spunky Western Girl nature, even before we get her "death before dishonor" line.
So we're off to Carson City, Nevada. This means it's definitely at least 1859, since the city wasn't founded until 1858, as a deliberate effort to set up a capital for a proposed Nevada Territory that would separate Nevada's small population from the Utah Territory. The miners and opportunists in Nevada didn't like being governed by the LDS leaders in Salt Lake City. (Brigham Young was governor of the whole territory until the 1857-8 Utah War that appears not to have happened in this timeline.)
Carson City is a long walk. Google Maps is giving me 192 hours, mostly along what's now US-50, known as "the loneliest road in America." Even if we posit more activity due to miners heading west, it is still a haul across rugged mountains, and so, so much desert. (The route does legit skip the salt flats.)
If nothing goes wrong, our little party will be on the road for about a month, through hostile terrain. When they arrive in Carson City (population 714), they'll still be technically within the Utah Territory, as Nevada Territory wasn't split off until 1861. However, it'd take a determined party to come after them, and they wouldn't get a friendly welcome.
(Carson City now has a population of about 60,000, along with the state capitol, some nice late Victorian architecture, and a bunch of antique stores. It may be my favorite spot in Nevada.)

Hi....If you don't mind, can I ask, what are your top 10 (or top 7) favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series)? Why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks....
If I’m being honest, I have been more into just listening to music during my free time more than anything and while I read a lot of manga, my goldfish brain would blank out if someone were to ask me anything about it. However, I will tell you my list of definite rewatch/reread series though some of them are pretty old or obscure.
My Top 10 (in no particular order)
Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun (manga/anime)
At first, I watched it mainly for the fun aesthetics (cute colourful characters with spooky backgrounds) but I fell in love with the characters and world-building of this series. The whole cast, be it main or supporting, are absolutely amazing and capable of running a story arc of their own even without the main cast which is seriously impressive. And while the anime only just scratched the surface, the author really built the setting of this series with great thought, with its own politics, history, systems, and culture that impacts the story well. No random fact is without purpose and I love it.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (manga/anime)
I’ve been watching anime since I was 4 so I can confidently say that I’m familiar with many classic anime tropes and cliches. This series is like a kudos to longtime anime fans with its jokes and jabs as it follows a strong psychic boy being absolutely done with the insanity of his life as he tries to keep his powers a secret from his schoolmates like a sports anime jock, a shojou girl, delinquent gone good, etc. The comedy coming from this deadpan omnipotent high school student is just an absolute delight. I kin Saiki so much
Nope (movie)
I’m a real fan of horror movies, especially those with undertones that bring a critical element to humanity. While I love all of Jordan Peele’s current works, Nope has got to be one of my favourite movies overall. I’ve heard of some of the criticisms people had with the film (pretty ironic ones too) but I personally love the pacing and suspense of the film. While it’s fun to watch monsters and killers get crazy from the get-go (that’s why Saw movies and slasher films were popular) but Nope touched on that all-too-real fear of not knowing what’s going to happen. That fear where you’re afraid but you’re not sure of what yet.
Petshop of Horrors (manga/anime) and the sequel Neo Petshop of Horrors (manga)
Speaking of horror with critical undertones, I was obsessed with this manga series that came out in the late 90s. I would try so hard to find a way to read this series every chance I could growing up. It’s a sorta episodic style story that stars a mysterious petshop owner that often becomes a suspect in the deaths of people who have bought animals from his shop. I love the philosophy of each new story that touches on humanity and how different (or similar) we are to animals. It questions our societal norms, expectations, base desires, mythology, what it means to live, and what is “acceptable” in our world. Unfortunately, the series was never fully translated and only published fewer copies than typical manga series due to reasons I’m not too sure of (possibly conflicts with ownership and company copyrights at the time, think Baccano situation). The series had an anime but even that anime only had 4 episodes (I still highly recommend it however). I’ve managed to get a few volumes for myself and I know people are selling certain volumes online but I have to save for essentials so collecting them is unfortunately a lower priority now.
Pokémon (video game/manga/anime)
Is this a cop-out? Nah. To this day, I would still have to physically fight myself to not buy plushies and games when I’m already broke af. Pokémon might be one of the first animes I have ever seen (I have seen both sub and dub because my brother found a way) and I would still on occasion go back to rewatch literally any season and any movie of theirs, Nintendo really hit the marketing jackpot with this franchise. The creativity and design are so iconic and memorable that it’s so easy and fun to get into the fantasy of going on an adventure with your favourite Pokémon. There’s of course some nostalgia at play since I loved the moments where my older brother would watch the movies with me and my cousin and I would collect the figurines together.
One Piece (manga/anime)
Is this also a cop-out? Don’t care. I LOVE ONE PIECE! I will sacrifice my time and tears for this series. I have legitimately managed to rewatch this 4 times in my life (granted I started when it only had 400+ episodes so I had an easier time) and I would willingly cry over a flashback, a whale, even a boat over and over again. The action and story-telling of this series just keeps me running back for more even if I keep meeting dumb gatekeepers (yea, people don’t believe me when I tell them I’m a One Piece fan, what are ya gonna do?) I haven’t watch the Netflix live action yet but I probably will once I get my friends to watch with me (I like to fangirl with friends~)
Forget my Husband, I’ll Go Make Money (manhwa)
Despite my blog probably being best known for the villain/ess series, the banner of my blog is not an isekai villainess story but a fantasy series where a woman who can see the past, present, and future tries to make money while being married to a foreign prince before expecting a divorce (because she assumed he rather marry for love than for political reasons). Fun fact, this series was actually one of the foundations when I was writing the villain/ess story for Leona. The art and main couple are just absolutely delightful, I can’t help but reread it as it returns for a new season. Not only is the art just gorgeous, the main couple is just so gosh darn entertaining with their conversations, personal dynamics, and hilarious misunderstandings. Just beautiful.
Hotel Del Luna (K-drama)
Leave it to my interest in horror to love a romance drama with ghosts in it. It’s funny, it’s cute, and some of the ghost’s backstory is heartbreaking as well. This is a great story to just have a nice cry out. I love the story, I love the music, but most importantly, I love IU! She is my queen and every scene she is in, she kills me with her fashion, her haughty character, and her tragic backstory. She and the male lead was such a fun twist of the typical k-drama relationship where she was the powerful but broken character who ended up being healed by the kind, hardworking character. I've watched this 3 times at this point, but I still cry Every. Single. Time. No exceptions.
Hell Girl (anime/manga)
If I haven’t sold you on how I was probably that kid with creepy interests, maybe this will convince you. This was my go-to show back when I was in middle school. There is no excuse, I just really love the psychological horror of this series. In the show, there is a website you can access at midnight where you can ask Ai or Hell Girl to send your most hated person to hell, with the price that you will go there too when you die. While there was a linear storyline in the background, the episodes were always new people who requested Ai’s help with different cases of their own hell on earth. It touches on some really heavy real-life topics but what made it memorable to me was how sometimes I would feel saddened by the choices the people in the show made. Sometimes, they’re in the situation where all they can do is curse someone to hell but then was it really worth losing your chance at a happier afterlife? I watched this show with some of my friends who either saw Ai as a villain for sending people to hell, or a saviour who helped these people find an escape from their torturer, and that honestly made me think about what it means to have that much hate in you. I always wondered if I was ever in that situation, what would I do if given the chance?
Big Hero 6 (movie)
Arguably the first Marvel-Disney movie since Disney bought Marvel, I remembered people having weird thoughts on the usually cartoony company taking over the superhero franchise but I fell in love with everything that was this movie. It had Marvel-style action mixed with classic Disney wholesomeness and gut-wrenching emotional moments. I loved the message and warmth that was in this movie. Having an older brother myself, I couldn’t imagine how I could go on if I lose him but watching Hiro being so well supported by Baymax and his friends cemented within me the importance of helping others and that supporting those in pain can be as powerful as stopping bad guys (sappy, I know but hey I’m now learning to be a preschool teacher so this really stuck with me). Tadashi’s recorded message brings me so much comfort that I didn’t realize I needed. He may have been the closest thing to a Disney crush for me.

So kinda related to the Pokemon Au. What is your favorite Pokemon and does anyone use it? My favorite is Alolan Ninetales and Emboar. I know that's two but I just can't pick and when I do it's likely to change. Weiss is on her way to get a ninetales. I'm sorry for asking you if you give Emboar to someone. (Blake,Ghira,Ren are my first choices maybe Kali or Tai if pressed.)
Now that I think about it, I do have an idea of who would most benefit from having an Emboar. But I'll write about that another time.
For now, let me gush about my favorite Pokémon, because I never get to talk about him! Drumroll, please~!
Tumblr media
CHESNAUGHT
When I first heard about X/Y, I did as I always did and look for the starters. Then I fell down the Nidoran hole of evolution speculation, and boy, when I saw Chespin become Quilladin, I got all the more curious. I kept thinking, "What is this ball boy going to be?" And let me tell you, GameFreak did not disappoint. They played on one of my favorite tropes, Fantasy RPG classes, and gave us a knight Pokémon! I love knights!
Now, I'm sure you're wondering what my team in X/Y was, and I... didn't play X/Y. I didn't have a 3DS until ORAS, and by then I'd already seen and heard just about everything else about X/Y that kinda turned me away from it. Apparently, X/Y was the worst generation of Pokémon even by today's standards. So yeah, I missed out on my chance to have a Chesnaught of my very own to topple the Elite 4. Ah, well...
But that didn't stop me from dreaming. Heck, I still have this idea for a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon-esque story with Chesnaught as the protagonist! But that's probably far and away from me now.
Why do I like Chesnaught, though? Well, of all the starters, he kinda looks the coolest. Especially when he does his Grass Shield. Not only that, but his PokéDex entries are also some of my favorites in the entire series. He's a gentle giant, capable of tanking bomb blasts and flipping tanks, too! All the while doing what he can to protect his friends. Honestly, what's not to love about him?
So... yeah.

2. Anything that you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to?
So many. Where do I begin...
I feel like I'll never write another Annyeongz. Even Yujin or Wonyoung individually. There's so much good out there that I feel like it's not a productive time sink to throw another one out there. Part three (yes, it's meant to be a trilogy) is something that requires so much special care and effort on my end. I want it to be among my, if not the best work I produced. It's so tough. I missed out on getting concert tickets for their show, and that didn't help at all—made it worse even—but that's beside the point.
Same thing with Twice. Plenty of good, no need to add something in that mix. I really do want to write Sana and Nayeon (esp after the Waterbomb announcement).
Non-smut wise, there's that Pokémon!AU thing that stresses me out too. I don't want it to be overtly edgy like Insurgence or Reborn, but definitely a bit more on the maturer side of things storywise. Not to mention everything else aka the Pokémon aspect of it.
I'm also just lacking in ideas overall right now, so don't be surprised if it takes a while for something new to come out.
10. Top three favorite fic tropes.
Elseworld stories. Especially in a world with preexisting rich lore and history aside from the canon plot and the main characters that's hinted at, but never explored beyond brief mentions in passing or overlooked texts.
Time loops. I like Groundhog Day and 50 First Dates. Imagine having to relieve the same day over and over. Don't we already do that?
Enemy mine/The only one to defeat you is me. Hero and villain team up to fight a greater threat? Pure cinema every single time.
39. Wildest AU scenario you have written?
Smut-wise, probably one of the fan x idol fics. Hopefully I'll add to that list. But in actuality, it has to be the idol x Pokémon!AU thing where I want to make a fan game/rom hack out of it. You know how in almost every main series title, you, the protagonist and savior of the world is like 10 years old? I kind of want to explore a concept where that idea is normalized. Most of the strongest trainers in a region are those kids. I'm probably gonna look like a tinfoil hat man, but it also reflects on the idol industry, how they always want to scout and debut young talent in favor of veterans and older aspirants because they are more popular and have longer shelf life as performers. It's a WIP, but maybe when I actually invest into it, I want to see that idea realized in some shape or form.

God I just love when Pokemon comming into cock block the trainers.
Especially when the Pokemon hears and they think they're Master is killing their partner and they come in to stop them
It's a silly Trope but it's my favorite
🔞SAME! I’m still not over the Emmet bit I wrote and sent to you.🔞
-
Just you and Emmet have been going at it for a minute. Your legs tossed over his shoulders as he tries to lean down and press his chest flush with yours.
You’re left squealing out his name as his cock pounds into you, abusing your sweet spot.
“Emmet!! Fuck!”
He only speeds up, tossing his head back, drooling at how you clench around him.
He tilts his head down, mouth open, fully intending on biting you. When he jumps with a loud yelp, you’re faintly aware of the air crackling with static.
Then suddenly Emmet is off of you, yelling about something, your mind too muddled to process what your boyfriend is saying.
You whine though, missing his warmth and cock, you hadn’t cum yet that round and neither had he.
The younger subway boss however is in shock, pun intended.
Galvantula stood between him and you, hissing at him, threatening to shock and bite her trainer again if he gets too close.
He can’t believe this, Galvantula has never attacked him before!
She stands defensively, staying close to your weakened form. Slowly Emmet moves towards the door, never taking his eyes off his beloved Pokémon, and once he was far enough away, he watches as the large spider crawl over to you, clicking sounds echoing with concern.
She nudges your face gently, almost whimpering when you make a soft humming sound to let her know you’re there.
She cuddles next you, never taking her eyes off her trainer, and hissing when he tries walking back in.
He cannot believe this! His Galvantula, whom he raised, and spoiled, thinks he was hurting you? The nerve! Granted he’s happy she’s protective of you, but she’s targeting the wrong person!

🔲Ingo🔲
You and Ingo are in the kitchen, you were baking something together that now lays forgotten on the counter.
The very counter you’re back is pushed against.
Your arms around his neck while his are around your waist, both of you are pressed completely together.
You pull away from the impassioned kiss for air, moaning as Ingo goes right to your neck.
“You’re so addicting, my dear.”
You let out a high pitched yelp that bleeds into a whine as your lover bites and sucks a mark on your neck.
You both let out a confused sound as Ingo is lifted off the ground and away from you, suddenly Excadrill, Haxorus, and Crustle stand between you and him, each of them letting out threatening sounds.
Ingo is even more confused, absolutely perplexed at what his Pokémon are doing while chandelure has him floating in the air.
“….I think they thought you were hurting me.” You try not to laugh about it.
“I would never hurt you!” The older twin looks to his Pokémon “I would never hurt them, I love them very dearly! I’m a shamed and hurt that all of you believe I would even do something so cruel!”
You snort at your boyfriends offended gasp, his scolding hasn’t worked like it normally does, it only serves to make the Pokémon form a protective circle around you.
Ingo heart is hurting, he’s so upset by this turn of events.

SMG4 FRIENDSHIPS THAT I FEEL LIKE WOULD BE VERY REAL AND ALSO IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ME I KILL YOU
FightingMario54321 and Meggy- they were both cops and have penchant for fighting, what more do i have to say? they set up play dates between Loaf and Cube
Luigi and SMG0- they both are so chill, and they’d probably discuss gardening and their favorite teas and have little tea parties and talk abt how chaotic Mario and Fred are
Niles and Kaizo- both have felt betrayed by someone they care about, and they’re both the bad boy trope fr fr, would listen to rob zombie together
Mario, Fred, and Spudnick- they are all super chaotic and love running around and causing problems on purpose, they’re not allowed to hang out a lot since they destroy so much when they’re together, but once a year the guardians allow a play date
Tari and EpicYoshiFan- i’ve always thought EYF was bit quieter and shyer than the other recolors, so i think he and Tari would get long great, talking about music and video games and staying up way too late doing things
XboxGamer997 and Melony- they both have this sort of main character energy with X’s omen sense and Melony’s fierce deity side, i also think X gets pretty tired frequently so they’ll just have lil sleepovers :3
Ruffman8890 and Boopkins- they’re both very high energy, and RM would love to watch anime with Boopkins because i said so fuck you
Karen, Toad, and Peach- tired of Mario’s shit and definitely need a break, they go drinking together sometimes
Jeeves and Toadsworth- weird old men gang! i am specifically thinking abt the 2018 video where Jeeves and Toadsworth were hanging out, they definitely would discuss like the weather and what the princess has been up to and how the milk is selling fr fr
Shroomy and Swag- once again, i am referencing a Christmas special, the 2021 one to be exact, they love going demon hunting on the weekends and blowing things up
Whimpu and Tari- they both like doing quieter activities and nerdy shit, so they’d definitely play pokémon together, Whimpu is a nuzlock GOD
Enzo and The Villager- they both recovered after the christmas crazies episode (a lot of christmas episodes, you can tell they’re some of my favorites) and now The Villager directs a children’s TV show (seen in the 10 year anniversary movie) and Enzo runs a birthday supplies store in bloopersville (source: my brain) and they have the same parole officer, and no one really understands what they’ve been through so they’re pretty tight
SMG3, Xboxfan996, and OiramOiram12345- evil dopple gang! they’ve mostly mellowed out tho, and 96 and OO live in bloopersville but come by the internet graveyard sometimes to get a coffee and talk about what’s new with them
SMG4, SLG4, and Minion- THEY ARE A FAMILY YOUR HONOR AND YOU CAN RIP THIS FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS! Minion and SLG4 live in bloopersville, and since they’re all sorta related to SMG4, they’re like “yeah we’re family lol” so SMG4 sometimes shows up at bloopersville for their birthdays
Desti and Saiko- they would have been BESTIES you can’t change my mind, Desti would totally go to Saiko for help with asking out Meggy
MCGustavo and Bob- i can’t explain this but just trust me they’d be best friends they’d smoke together lol
Chris and Belle- they both want to smack the shit out of their former bosses (Sergeant Mark and SMG3, respectively), they both get a little tired of the chaos and just wanna talk to someone who’s also tired of it for once
Jub Jub, Frankie, and the Weegee doll- they play roblox together :D
Mario and Ruffman8890- they are both so chaotic and love running around and pissing off Toad lmaooo
Waluigi and Tari- after the whole T-pose virus thing, they both see each other at a rubber duck store and hit it off immediately, they love hanging out and playing with their ducks
those are all the ones i can think of rn but this is so real and you will agree with me now

OMG you said you wanted interactions!!! HI!!!! SO my favourite blorbos are Zoro Ace and Law <3 I have to say that your fics have had Marco going steadily up ehehe ♡˖꒰ᵕ༚ᵕ⑅꒱ I also love Sabo and Sanji and Thatch (I make them sound like Pokémon cards lol) if you would like I can go on with my fav tropes and whatnot (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
Hi G! (you go by G right? If I'm reading your profile correctly. TBH I mentally call you Moss/Mossy in my head.)
I see you in my notifs all the time, and in other writer's notifs, and I love you for that. It always brightens my day when you interact!
Zoro/Ace/Law are great blorbos to have. I love them too, but out of those three Ace is easily my favorite. I recently bought his light novels. (Hope the Law one gets translated.)
omg I'm so flattered my fics are making you like Marco!!! He's so cool, isn't he? I can't see him as anything less than a total dreamboat. Cool, kind, competent, handsome...
Sabo/Sanji/Thatch are also very high up on my blorbos list. I'm glad the fandom collectively loves Thatch despite his being in like less than five panels overall. I LOVE MINOR CHARACTERS SM and Thatch is also very dreamy. I need to work on a Marco/Thatch/Reader idea I had, I only have the outline done but it's sitting in my pile of WIPS.
It's okay to collect blorbos u_u Actually, if I had the spare change I would probably be buying up OP cards too... I have enough figures as it is, though, and need to stop because I don't have space for any more much less the cash.
Please do go on! I love to hear from you! <3
