me on my way to make this the most emotionally charged monologue of the play

#listen its good now but i read it in my head and im not sure of it sounds natural to be spoken #i think it only works if the entire thing is a fourth wall break bc there is no one else this character could be speaking to #but like I can’t imagine how one would deliver it and in a play i think yhats a problem #i never said it was an easy monologue #to perform #it would make the evilist of audition material #basically the reason its so important is bc for most of the play merel is pretty closed off #most of what the audience finds out about her is from rosella’s perspective #so its almost merel going ‘hey this is my past and i suddenly was beginning to trust again’ #i think i need to actually perform it. like say it and perform it and record it and figure out where it sounds unnatural #and then do that for everything else in that play #i say this bc the whole validity of merel’s character to me rests on how believable that monologue is. #like if i saw this play and I couldn’t believe that monologue it would takeaway from her arc #you finally see her perspective #of like heartbreak and falling in love again to suspected betrayal #im just a shit writer rn #im probably also a shit actor #anyways time to be an extrovert i guess before i yeet off to netherlands #i need a tag where i over share about my ocs #writers of tumblr #writing problems #dutch language found dead
