I love how shaun of the dead and hot fuzz have very similar main types of humour in their core, but the world's end just "you know what? NEW PLAN"
because if shaun is mostly repetitions ("red on you", their plan to save barbara and liz and go to the winchester) with a bit of foreshadowings; and the hot fuzz is mostly foreshadowings with a bit of repetitions (you're a doctor, deal with it)
the world's end going mostly on misunderstanding
gary and oliver talking about bike
I didn't drink for years - wow you must be thirsty
the whole "I don't even know what pronoun is" chat
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WTF????"
and in actions too. like the moment where sam thought gary gave her an arm and he asked for cigarettes.
it's just so funny for me. like, the world's end always feels kinda aside. and I think this is the part of reason. but it still feels like the funniest form of humour in cornetto for me.
my computer screen has been broken since september. meaning for the past Entire Month i had to specifically ask to borrow my roommates drawing tablet every individual time i was autistically overcome with the need to draw the same 2 guys again. 🍦🍦🍦
I thought I'd share my comfort movie edit ft. Hot Fuzz, Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, and Around the World in 80 Days (good lord they each get longer titles as I go-)
There is a special kind of strange feeling when your oc content gets more attention than your tiny fandom thats a mix of "yay people like my original art :D" and "wow the fandom situation is more dire than i thought"
