I finally did it! I made an account in Archive of Our Own and published the first 9 chapters of my fanfic.

I mean, I know that it’s not a lot and that it probably won’t attract a lot of people since the fanfic is probably interesting only to those who actually know the fandom, but I’m still excited and happy that I even took this step. And I’m also kind of proud because this is my 9th week in a row of writing the fic and it’s the longest I’ve ever written anything at all. And the longest thing I’ve written - I usually just stick to these random little short stories where I always end in a big mystery or a surprise and now I realize that writing longer chapters actually makes me happy, too. Just the thought of it makes me happy and in these weird times I just wanted to share something more uplifting. I hope you are all safe and in your homes, writing some fics, too! 💗

I know this is probably not a very big achievement for most of you by any means, I just wanted to share my happiness. Been writing fan fiction for four months and these months have been hectic but oh so lovely. It’s the most I’ve written and it keeps me going artistically. I usually write something and then quit writing it after a week or so because I get bored or I don’t think I’m good enough. But on this one I’ve self promoted, worked hard on and actually I am excited to work on. And the fanfiction community is great, thank you all for being super supportive! 💖

I hit 90+k words on my first fanfic. I’ve been writing it for almost 4 months now!

I just wanted to share some of my happiness here. I just noticed that I’m almost at 100k words on my first fanfic and I’m just so happy. It’s literally like I’ve written a book, it feels so good. I’ve been writing since February and it wasn’t always easy, having a full time job and being a mom but I did it! So happy! :) ❤️
