Here are some of my favorite scenes from this amazing K-drama 🥹💖

“This summer belongs to us.” 😭

I replayed this part so much! 😂 Yi-jin was so shocked and maybe asking himself “WHY AM I HERE?” 😂

I can’t find a photo where Hee-do’s replaying Yi-jin’s voice message but man, I felt it the sadness. I feel like I’m also waiting for them. 🥺

This fencing scene in the dark!! It started with Yi-jin being creepy with the banana milk then this. The support she needs and the motivation she gives her. Perfect combination 😭

This was when Ji-woong asked Yi-jin for help with Yu-rim and he ended up singing with the band. He’s so dreamy with his guitar! 🥰 Then Hee-do asked if he can redo one of his voice tapes. Sometimes, we all need is a reminder that we can’t have it all figured out. We will mistakes and it’s okay as long as we gave our best. We will try again next time.

Their first meeting after Yi-jin left 🥹

Another plot twist that I didn’t expect! It just means that even the smartest, most prepared ones can break, too. But she bounced back that’s why I love Seung-hwan 🫰🏼

Madrid 2001. Hee-do’s most memorable game. I love how they teased this part in the first part of the episode or the earlier one. I can watch this over and over again 😭

And last but not the least, this scene on episode 2. I knew I would love this show because of this. “When it’s just the two of us, let’s be happy without anyone else knowing. It’s our little secret.” 🥹💗

New favorite k-drama, have now rewatched 4 times

!Spoilers!

"Please give me the strength to not be emotionally exhausted"

"I'm alone on our anniversary again. But I'm fine. We understand each other."

"I can't tell since when, but you sound more genuine in your apologies than when you say you love me."

Her diary entries made me cry so hard T_T

The writing was so good, the characters felt so real ♡

They all went through the struggles of life and managed to keep their light

I really love sweet love stories with bittersweet endings. So sad though T-T

Na Hee-do was my fav, I related to her ♡

I had such a crush on Baek Yi-jin, his growth and vulnerability were so powerful and endearing. His character arc made me feel all the feels

His quote, "I don't think not living your dream means you've failed at life and I don't think living your dreams means you've succeeded either." 💗

Ko Yu-rim really grew on me, her friendship with Hee-do was so sweet. ♡ Her arc broke my heart, so glad that she got a happy ending T~T

Hee-do and Yi-jin had such a well-written and well-portrayed relationship, the breakup didn't feel forced and their chemistry was so strong

So bittersweet, so heartbreaking, but glad to know they were still able to lead fulfilling lives

Just because their relationship was well-written doesn't mean I'm happy about how it ended though :P

But in all honesty I think it was the best ending the writers could have chosen 🥲 Such a beautiful story of summer and youth 💖

Chemistry: 8

Comparable to: Strong Girl Do Bong Soon (kdrama); Angels Last Mission (kdrama) ; Tale of the Nine Tailed (kdrama)

Usually I loved these fantasy type dramas but for some reason something was missing for me with this one. Still enjoyed it, but not the ‘oh my god can’t wait for the next episode’ type, just meh. I loved the storyline, it’s a great plot, but the writing, editing and unfortunately for me, the lack of chemistry between the main leads just gave it an overall ho hum of a series. Probably would have done better with a 10 episode series too.

Tomorrow (2022): Koo Ryeon (Kim Hee-Seon) Grim reaper Koo Ryeon is the leader of a crisis management team. The teams objective is to save suicidal people. Choi Jun-Woong (Ro Woon) is a young job seeker who is unable to secure a job. One night, he accidentally becomes a new member of the crisis management team.

The Witch: Subversion (2018): Ja-Yoon (Kim Da-Mi) A young girl escapes from a mysterious laboratory where she was trained to become a murder weapon. 10 years later, the girl, named Ja-yoon, is living a normal life, apparently without any memory of her past, she becomes involved in a crime.

Special Delivery (2022): Eun-Ha (Park So-Dam) Eun-Ha is a special driver for deliveries. She delivers anything or anyone for the right price. Her success rate is 100%, but she gets involved in an unexpected delivery accident.

Brave Citizen (2023): So Shi-Min (Shin Hae-Sun) So Shi-Min used to be a boxer in her student days. She now works as a contract teacher at a high school. She confronts a school bully, who frequently torments other students.
