Reading and drinking a mocha latte. Had to take my phone from my daughter to take this picture. She was playing ABCMouse while I read. She was angry at me for having her pause her game 🤣 My son is in the background watching Encanto. I love mornings like this.

This novel is so good so far. I'm about 1/4 of the way through. It takes place after the Great War. It goes back and forth between two main characters who both work for the newspaper: Ellis and Lily. It has a lot of controversial topics for that time period: being an unwed mother, prohibition, selling of children. 10/10 recommend.

Had a very productive day today. I was able to make a quizlet for my TEXES Social Studies Exam. I also got new coffee mugs at Target and I’m so excited about them.

While I do my online classes my daughter colors and watches LeapFrog. I just put her desk next to mine so she feels included 🥰. I also finally got Arlo and Athena to be around each other. I just adopted Arlo, the black cat, 2 weeks ago. I also organized my daughter’s learning materials and coloring books in a shoe organizer. I am thinking of doing something similar for my office supplies. My desk is soooo cluttered.

Doing a large collaborative sewing square with pipe cleaners and beads and then learning how to use plastic needles and string 2. More ice projects - I like how they used ice cubes to make a block so there's more texture 3. We need to have a giant fort day... I might need to buy more sheets at Goodwill 4.
