Hey! I made more Tormentors plus a thing of WX-78 and Maxwell for Constant Hell.

Tormentor Winona

Her design was based on Red from the NES Godzilla creepypasta and the Other Mother from Coraline. And yes that's a drill at the end of her tail, I added that because why not.

Tormentor Wickerbottom

I know she looks weird but trust me, her design was based on The Screecher from the Don't Starve horror mod of the same name. She is supposed to look like a barn owl, I cannot draw beaks. Yes I gave her hands on her wings because her wings are also her arms.

Tormentor Wormtox

Wortox gets Wormwood's gem implanted into him and now Wormwood's mind and vines are part of him. He's now named Wormtox because Wormwood and Wortox are fused together. They will eat your soul.

TW: Gore (I know, it looks like shit)

Maxwell talks to WX-78 about how the times he gets killed by the Tormentors and how each kill is more painful than the last.

Maxwell's head gets ripped off by Tormentor Wilson, he gets ripped in half by Tormentors Wes and Wigfrid, Tormentor Winona drills into his head, and he gets impaled by a spikey vine controlled by Tormentor Wormtox.

Maxwell looses his sanity while talking about it and Tormentor Wilson uses this as an opportunity to try to put out the fire.

If you're wondering what happened to WX-78, their limbs got ripped off by Tormentor Wes because Tormentor Wilson told him that WX-78 was going to put him in the same prison that Maxwell trapped him in when he got to the Constant.

So I just got an idea for a future project and would love to hear some feedback!

I love the Don't Starve Together events (I seriously need to check out the current Year of the Rabbit event when I can), and hope to, SOMEDAY, see a Don't Starve and Darkest Dungeon crossover. Even if it's just characters getting Darkest Dungeon skins/costumes.

My brother and I have already put our heads together to figure out who would look cool as what, and here's what we agreed on so far (Ideas and suggestions are welcome!):

Willow OBVIOUSLY as the Runaway from DD2

Wigfrid as the Hellion (dramatic Hellion is just a funny concept in my head)

Walter as the Houndmaster (And before any of you starts that "But HM isn't blaaaack", there is a recolor where he is. Also, go fuck yourself if you're still that fucking stubborn.)

Maxwell as the Ancestor (We thought MAYBE the Occultist at first, but then realized the Ancestor is FAR more fitting. And goes VERY WELL with the next idea.)

Charlie (not playable but shut up and hear me out) as the Countess (Those who know the lore will know)

Wortox as the Abomination Beast Form

Wolfgang as the Man-at-Arms

Webber with a skin designed to look like one of the spiders from Darkest Dungeon

WX-78 as Reynauld (my brother's idea)

Wurt as one of the Pelagic Horrors (...too obvious??? Suggestions are welcome.)

Wes as the Antiquarian (Because I REALLY don't want to draw him as a Jester. Jesters and mimes are two different things. Also the Jester has a big mouth, which would be WAAAAY outta character for Wes....unless he pantomimed insults at everyone. Lol)

Annnd that's about it. There are some I'm not sure about yet, and would love to hear ideas or feedback. I'm just doodling these for fun. I highly doubt there will EVER be a crossover event.

One idea my brother had for Wendy was a mod class called The Sisters, by Marvin Seo, but I wasn't sure if it would be okay to do fanart crossover of it. I'd rather only do it if the creator wasn't going to get mad at me about it. Because I have anxiety, and don't want to feel like I'm stealing or copying. Speaking of which, has this already been done????

what are the aus you made with the cast?

There has been a good chunk over the years since I can’t control myself and Paes only eggs me on instead of holding me back. Here’s a couple of notable ones that Paes has uploaded:

Triumphant AU: The classic switch around with William and Wilson as King of the Constant. Love it and can never go wrong. Have we played with the skins in-game? Yes. Yes we have. I still have no regrets paying for William. I’d do it again.

Victorian AU: Based on the Victorian skins. Maxwell is a renowned actor and after injuring his voice is desperate enough to agree to see certain doctor who has a reputation of using unusual methods.

Band AU: This one is where the characters are musically talented and have grouped up in a band. Paes got inspiration to create this one based on their love of Bearface from Brockhampton. This one involves middle aged men in a band comprised of Woodie on electric guitar, Warly on drums, Wilson on bass, Maxwell on keyboard, and Wes is their composer. Other notable characters are Webber who is a heavy metal singer, Walter plays violin, and Wendy sings. All of them are humans. No supernatural antics here.

Devil Band AU: Now this one was because of that one art Paes did of the line up of the Don’t Starve men. An AU of an AU if you will of the band one. In this Wagstaff, Wortox, Warbucks, Woodlegs, Maxwell, Wilson, and Wes are demons. I was inspired by the Crossroads folklore where demons or the devil themself makes deals with people for their souls. Maxwell, Wilson, Wortox, and Wes answer to Warbucks, Wagstaff and Woodlegs. They go and target people to make contracts and reap the benefits that may go beyond souls (for instance Wes feeds on bad luck).

Pre-amble: I sometimes make character mods for Don’t Starve Together, I’ve made two so far based on my OCs, and because PvZ still occupies my tiny pea-brain I’ve been considering making one for Super Brains (and maybe Zomboss, if I can figure out how to draw his wack-ass head) so have my rambling thoughts on how such a mod would work. None of this is going to make sense if you’ve never played Don’t Starve or Plants vs Zombies.

If I did make a mod for ol Supes the hardest part aside from figuring out if I should go through the trouble of adding his cape in some fashion would be writing his dialogue. My most hated part of the mod creation process is making custom dialogue in the speech file because: A) Making a full unique speech file with unique dialogue takes forever because every item in the game can be inspected with something that character has to say about said item. Most character mods don’t bother and either directly lift another character’s speech file (usually Wilson’s) and edit it here and there. I’ve done that, and it still takes what feels like an eon; and while you can get rid of some strings (like I get rid of the ‘Gorge’ and ‘Forge’ strings because those are events you can’t play now without mods so why bother keeping them) you’re gonna wanna keep most of them. B) DST is a game that’s still getting updates that add new content, so you’re gonna have to update that adds new content (said this in a DS server i’m in, but every time a new update comes in I groan because that means I have to update my mods’ speech files) Dialogue would be tricky because the only time Super Brains has really exhibited a personality was in the GW adaptation comic where he only briefly showed up near the end, and since I don’t have access to any newer comics, I don’t know if he’s a regular character in the comic series after the GW adaptation, so writing dialogue for him would be a chore. (I suppose I could lean into how his wiki says he believes he’s in an 80s action movie all the time, similar to how Wigifrid is always acting like she’s in a stage play? I dunno)

As for how he would play and what quirks he’d have:

He’s similar to pre-refresh Wolfgang where he’s a high damage dealer who needs a lot of food to be strong (I hope the way to code that in is easy, if I can’t figure it out I’ll merely give him 2x damage with a fast hunger drain)

Can eat monster foods without penalty similar to Webber (sadly can’t code in brains)

Doesn’t lose sanity during the evening and night as a creature accustomed to darkness. (no night vision though)

Like Wortox and Webber, Super Brains is considered a monster, as a walking talking corpse should be, and will be attacked by Pigs, Bunnymen, and Catcoons.

Now why consider making a mod like this?

A) PvZ brainrot. I could just stop there if I wanted to, honestly.

B) I’ve been teaching myself coding, and doing a mod without using the ‘Extended Sample Character’ would be a nice exercize.

C) A lot of character mods in DST aren’t weird enough. Not knocking these people (I know a lot of these people are beginners like me who just wanna play as their OCs) but so many of the character mods use the same body shape and after a while they all kind blend in to me. (doesn’t help 75% of them are anime characters) So I was like “Welp, might as well get weird with it.”

If I do make the mod maybe I’ll post it to the workshop. I dunno if there’s a lot of PvZ fans who are also DST players. But yeah, autistic brain dump over, i dont expect this to get any notes lmao. I’m going to bed now.
