BOFURI: un nuovo trailer ci ricorda che la seconda stagione dell’anime è in dirittura d’arrivo

Maple tornerà a maxare difesa da gennaio 2023.

Pubblicato, finalmente, un primo trailer per la seconda stagione di “BOFURI: Dato che non sopporto il dolore, metterò tutti i punti in difesa” (in originale Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu) che ci era stata promessa ormai più di un anno fa.

Inizialmente previsto per il 2022, il ritorno di Maple e del suo party slitta, seppur di poco, a gennaio 2023. , tornerà con i nuovi episodi nel corso del 2022.

Ad occuparsi della la serie animata, tratta dalla light novel di Yuumikan, sarà sempre lo studio SILVER LINK (When Will Ayumu Make His Move?, Non Non Biyori Nonstop) e lo staff al lavoro sull’adattamento sarà pressoché lo stesso della prima stagione.

La regia, insomma, è nuovamente affidata a Shin Oonuma (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya), che stavolta, però, non condividerà più il ruolo con Mirai Minato (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!, When Will Ayumu Make His Move?).

Anche per quanto riguarda sceneggiatura e character design troviamo, rispettivamente, sempre Fumihiko Shimo (Date A Live IV,  Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki) e Kazuya Hirata (Miss Caretaker of Sunohara-sou, When Will Ayumu Make His Move?).

La serie segue le avventure all’interno di un VRMMO fantasy di Kaede Honjo. La ragazza inizia a giocare su consiglio dell’amica Risa Shiramine, ma avendo paura di farsi male, decide di optare per un personaggio completamente incentrato sulla vitalità di nome Maple. Come risultato si muove lentamente, non può usare la magia e anche un coniglietto può sopraffarla senza sforzi! La sua scelta però le garantisce due abilità molto particolari e inaspettatamente potenti, chiamate Absolute Defense e Counter Skill, le quali la rendono in grado di annullare qualsiasi danno.

I 12 episodi della prima stagione, andati in onda durante l’inverno 2020, sono distribuiti in Italia da Yamato Video e sono disponibili, sottotitolati, in streaming sul canale YouTube di Yamato Animation.

Il romanzo viene serializzato online su Shousetsuka ni Narou dal 2016, mentre dal settembre del 2017 viene anche pubblicato in formato cartaceo; al momento l’opera è giunta al 10° volume.

Nel maggio del 2018 ne è stata lanciata una versione manga, disegnata da Jiro Oimoto, che per ora conta solo due volumetti. Nel 2020 è uscita anche un’antologia a fumetti, illustrata da vari artisti.
