Pokemon Masters does a really pretty good job of asking 'what next?' for characters that appear in it, giving Silver, Eusine and Zinnia a chance to achieve their goals they couldn't in the main series and giving characters like Lusamine and Rose a start to their redemption arcs but I have no idea how they can implement Sada/Turo without wrecking the entire emotional core of Scarlet and Violet

There's a weird subset of remakes/sequels that exist specifically to erase any painful elements from the originals like so a bittersweet ending isn't bittersweet anymore or a heroic sacrifice no long has consequences and part of that is brand viability and all that shit but also people kinda welcome it because they don't want that hurt to be the last thing they feel with that property and I think it's important to let it hurt because the only way to let it heal is to let it hurt
