As a Pillar of Pumpkin Season, Disney Presents New Halloween Premieres On Disney Channel and Disney Junior.

Disney will present a pumpkin-spiced brew of Halloween stories that inspire and connect kids ages 2-14.

Each day for more than a month, Disney Channel’s “Calling All The Monsters” and Disney Junior’s “Trick or Treats” programming events will serve as the premiere destination for Disney’s Halloween-themed content.

Disney Channel will premiere chilling and thrilling episodes of hit series, including:

Hamster & Gretel “The Nightmarionette” SATURDAY, OCT. 1, at 9:30 a.m. EDT on Disney Channel Hamster and Gretel battle a villain who projects people’s greatest fears before their eyes. With Kevin and Fred’s help, Gretel must face her biggest fears in order to defeat him.

Album Review: Sue Foley - One Guitar Woman: A Tribute to the Female Pioneers of Guitar

No matter what Sue Foley does on One Guitar Woman, she does it authentically.

For her first solo-acoustic LP, the blueswoman looks back to her heroines - Elizabeth Cotten, Memphis Minnie, Lydia Mendoza, Maybelle Carter, Ida Presti and Sister Rosetta Tharpe among them - and does them proud. Hence the subtitle: A Tribute to the Female Pioneers of Guitar.

In addition to “Lonesome Homesick Blues,” Carter also gets a nod on “Maybelle’s Guitar,” the lone original among the LP’s dozen cuts.

There’s folk on Cotten’s “Oh, Babe it Ain’t No Lie” and “Freight Train;” blues on Minnie’s “In My Girlish Days” and Elvie Thomas’ “Motherless Child Blues;” flemenco playing and Spanish singing on Mendoza’s “Mal Hombre;” and classical on “Romance in A Minor.”

Foley is equally at home in each genre and the acoustic nylon-string guitar provides the atmosphere for her expressive playing and singing to shine in ways they cannot on full-band electric recordings.

There are many things to be said for One Guitar Woman. But the one word that works best is authentic.

Marco is not a Hunter situation where she can be read as any kind of trans and still be positive representation.Marco dosen't like being seen as a boy and the subtext is so strong for that that it's basically text-The reason she's always trying to act 'manly' is to overcompensate because she's insecure about not being seen as such and that might work as a good trans guy narrative with a different character but not her.Girlhood,not just femininity but straight up presenting as a girl,is what makes Marco happiest with herself

Seriously,just compare her princess scenes to the ones where she's straining herself to be act like an Ordinary Cis BoyTM and you'll see a big difference with how natural her mannerisms feel between them and it's canon that she started a revolution by being a girl that inspires other girls to be who they want to despite other people trying to force them not to be.Plus,not to make this about romance,but it's worth noting that Marco's canon first girlfriend(Jackie)turned out to be bisexual and that she very much intentionally has MANY instances of romantic subtext with a male character(Tom)that she became best friends with on an episode where the promo pic is her wearing a dress while they're drawn to look like the couple in a romance novel and that in the same episode,he straight up calls her 'girl' while serenading her with a romantic song he knows she loves

This is literally a trans girl narrative,regardlesss of disney's 'boys can be princesses too!!!!' bullshit.It's a GOOD trans girl narrative that should've been canon but disney hates lgbt people so they censored it and you can't slap on another trans label on it and call it rep,because our experiences overlap but they're not interchangable.It's transmascphobic to take a character who is miserable with boyhood but loves being seen as a girl and call them a trans guy.If you disagree,block me.Also:If you ship her with Star,block me as well,cause i've SEEN that y'all are always the ones insisting she has to be a guy in some way.My blog is NOT for gross people like that

Letitia Wright-(Pretty jarring how she's been in plenty of mcu projects yet it's easy to count the number of roles she's been in outside the mcu, and has been acting since 2011, longer than Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor Joy and Millie Bobby Brown. Wright has even acted as long as Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams and they've been in more projects than her)

Yasmin Finney-(She's done both Heartstopper and Doctor Who)

Imani Lewis-(First Kill deserved better than being cancelled after one season. Let her do more horror and supernatural themed

Leah Jeffries-(Deserves all the support especially once the Percy Jackson series comes out)

Erin Kellyman-(After the Han Solo film, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Willow, let her appear in more sci-fi and action blockbusters)
