What are your pokemon headcanons for some of the characters teams lol
I've figured out some fitting pokemon for most characters but I like to try to find a neat theme and setup to go with the choices. I don't have all of them set in stone but I'll share the choices I'm the happy with atm.
Some of the descriptions will be a bit long. Characters included are Rasiel, Fran, Belphegor, Chrome, Ryohei, and Bianchi. (With very slight mention of Haru and Kyoko)
Rasiel- I’ll just get him out of the way first. Due to his status and traumatic childhood Rasiel’s preference in pokemon revolves around high class ghost types. Vain status symbols and testaments to his ability to overcome death. His team is comprised of pokemon like Cofagrigus, Chandelure, and (Authentic)Polteageist. His most notable pokemon is Cofagrigus.
Not long after the “incident” that left him terribly injured and ill, employees around the castle noticed the presence of a distressed yamask pacing the outskirts of the castle grounds. Some noted the unsettling resemblance between the young prince and the mask the pokemon carried. At some point during his recovery, the Yamask found it’s way into the castle and rushed straight to Siel. It’s presence didn’t scare the prince, it was oddly comforting and the stray pokemon offered him some small bit of company while he remained isolated.
The consensus between his caretakers was that the Yamask had mistakenly taken the likeness of the prince during the moments he was buried after his brush with death. Rasiel miraculously surviving and Yamask retaining his likeness made the pokemon confused and curiously drawn to him. And it wasn’t just Yamask. Rasiel’s near death experience and the recent flood of negative energy throughout the castle grounds turned it into a beacon for ghost type pokemon. Overtime Rasiel developed a fascination with death and the afterlife and became as drawn to ghost types as they were to him. Not once did he have to go out of his way to catch his own pokemon, all of his partners eagerly sought out their new prince of their own accord.
Rasiel’s main partner Cofagrigus is a very unsettling and dangerous pokemon and most are surprised by how docile it is in his presence. Not only is his connection to Cofagrigus deeply personal, his family is wealthy enough to satiate it’s appetite for gold and his status as future king makes him a perfect match for that particular pokemon based on it’s history. -“There are many depictions of Cofagrigus decorating ancient tombs. They're symbols of the wealth that kings of bygone eras had.”
Fran- Fran has a very notable lack of motivation when it comes to most things, being a trainer included. He doesn’t really have a preference and his team is made up of pokemon he obtained through odd circumstances. Notable pokemon in Frans possession are Espurr, Zorua, Mimikyu, Appletun, and Hatterene.
A tiny apple-less applin became infatuated with Fran’s hat and was determined to make it it’s new home. Though Fran tried many times to shoo the pokemon away or lock it out of his house, it always found its way to him again. Eventually he grew tired of constantly dealing with it and just let it take up residence in his hat. It’s delighted little eyes always poking out of the top. Fran eventually evolved it not long after he acquired a new hat.
Though I don’t have an idea for how he acquired Mimikyu and I do have the hc that Fran is for some unknown reason is the only known person capable of looking under Mimikyu’s disguise without it having any negative affect on him. Not even Belphegor or Mukuro are willing to personally test their luck in that regard.
Hatterene are scary and near impossible for the average person to approach without provoking. However Fran’s monotonous disposition and overall lack of outward emotion made him unintentionally cross paths with one. Though he had no desire to catch or battle it he noticed it had intently started following him. It had never encountered a human that didn’t instantly agitate it and that made it curious.(She also just liked his big silly hat) He didn’t particularly like the idea of having such an aggressive and volatile pokemon in his possession but he also didn’t want it following him through places filled with people that could potentially provoke it, not that he was concerned it might attack other people, he just didn't want it to attack him. So he made a compromise to take it with him while in the safety of a ball, and it surprisingly obliged.
There is ONE perk though. Hatterene HATES Belphegor. He’s loud and hostile and his vibes are terrible. He is everything Hatterenes hate in a human. If Fran tries to use Hatterene in battle while Bel is nearby it will turn it’s focus straight to him. Sometimes Fran does it on purpose because honestly Bel deserves it majority of the time. Her Fairy typing also directly counters Bel’s favored dark type.
Belphegor- Gonna be honest, I’ve tried to put a lot of thought into Bel for this AU but he is incredibly difficult to work with. It’s hard for me to assign him pokemon because I just can’t seem to find any that are good enough to fit his vibes. Or in his case bad enough. The main thing I decided for him was that he would have a focus on dark types and two of his pokemon would be a shiny Absol and the exception to his preference, Gengar. Alolan Persian, Deino, Weavile, and Skuntank are pretty solid contenders but i’m not 100% on all of them yet. Tho I do like the idea of both of the twins having meowth, Bel ending up with alolan persian and Rasiel ending up with Kantonian Persian.
Absol’s are considered bad omens, bringers of disaster and death, and that is exactly what comes to those whose paths are crossed by this crimson visage. It’s presence is a warning that it’s master is near. Bel has had this fearsome partner since he was a child, it’s first appearance before him marking the “death” of his brother. Since then Bel has been a beacon for disaster, anywhere he goes he happily brings death with him, and that is why Absol is never far from his side. Always there to be a warning, or a threat, to those who venture too close or are unfortunate enough to have Bel’s sights set on them.
The exception to his preference in dark types is Gengar. He liked it’s vibe and got it as a direct response to Fran’s Hatterene being a constant pain. Though head-to-head it does come down more to skill than typing since both have disadvantage and weakness against the other. Generally they tend to be pretty even in power.(when you don’t consider the fact that Fran doesn’t really put much effort into battles.)
Chrome- Chrome isn’t one for battle when it comes to pokemon and doesn’t really have a preference. For Chrome her pokemon are therapeutic and a source of comfort in her day to day. Her pokemon are Musharna, Sylveon, Togetic, Shiny Audino, Kirlia, and Gothorita. Pokemon that specialize in soothing the fears and anxiety of their trainers, and bringing them happiness. Her very first partner was a Munna.
It isn’t uncommon for doctors to use pokemon as assistants for a variety of medical treatments. Though they were not exclusive to that ward, munna were often found in the pediatric ward at night. They provided assurance and comfort to recovering children, soothing their dreams and eating away the nightmares. Though there was little hope she would survive, Chrome had one assigned to her bedside. A small comfort during what would likely be her last few nights. Her moments of consciousness were short and scarce, so her dreams were all she had left.
Up until Mukuro’s odd intervention, Munna remained snug by her side. It would sometimes visit her in her dreams, providing some company within her peaceful, yet lonely world. After all what company could she dream of if everyone had abandoned her? When she awakened and had miraculously stabilized due to Mukuro’s aid she just so happened to take the Munna with her on her way out of the hospital.
Ryohei- While not one I tend to think too much on and I dont have a full party thought out for him, I recently decided I like the idea of him having Mega-Lopunny. I know that seems like an odd choice, because it is, everyone thinks it's an odd pokemon for him to have, including himself, but under no circumstances would he ever consider removing it from his team because it was a gift.
When his little sister Kyoko became a trainer the first thing she did was try to find a pokemon she could give to her big brother as a gift, as a way of showing him she was capable of catching pokemon on her own and to thank him for helping her get to that point. At the time Buneary felt like a good fit in her eyes because it was cute and its ears seemed to pack the kinda punch Ryohei liked his pokemon to have.
Ryohei was overjoyed by the gift and didnt question in the slightest why she would give him a normal type when he specialized in fighting types, he was just proud of his sister. His synergy with Lopunny is surprisingly solid as it makes for a good pseudo fighting type, and in it's mega form it not only becomes a proper fighting type it also gains the ability to PUNCH GHOSTS which is cool as hell!
Once Kyoko is a little older she feels kind of embarrassed about her choice given Ryoheis type preference but he insists Lopunny is amazing and gladly shows off it's power to anyone when given the chance, making sure everyone knows it's because of his little sister he has such a powerful partner. This does not help ease her embarrassment. Ryohei eventually returned the favor by gifting her a stufful. Something that suited her that was cute and strong, and also because Haru had one and he knew how much Kyoko loved it.
Bianchi- Instead of going full poison types like I originally planned to, I started liking the idea of her having food themed pokemon that are just kinda wrong. She's the only char I have considered taking some liberties with the canon designs and typing of her pokemon. At the moment I hc her having Alcremie, Vanilluxe, and Tsareena. All "shiny" though people are sure Bianchi's pokemon were not always those sickly off-colors. Their designs would be more warped/melted with tsareena being an exception as she seemed to have a better response to it's trainer-inflicted poison typing. (A G-maxed Alcremie in her possession would be a horrific sight)
Bianchi herself isn't doing this intentionally to her pokemon and also doesn't seem to notice their differences. Her love for her pokemon and the care she provides for them are genuine, they just somehow always end up “wrong”. Their sickly appearances haven't hindered their ability to function in battle and they actually seem to be unusually stronger than their average counterparts.

Yes, Rein is perfectly aware that his siblings and him have weird names. His parents were going for a theme. They were also picked out names like Autumn and Spring, but neither got used because his parents were struggling to conceive, and then his mother got too sick to have children and passed when Rein was fifteen.[ Rein and his Mimikyu “Sunshine (Sunny for short)” ]
My OC that I kinda made on a whim. More info about him and his team below
Basics
Rein Frei is a nonbinary trainer who responds to he/him and they/them pronouns. He’s very secretive, even going so far as to use a fake name whenever he gets caught trespassing by the police. At this point, he has a large file as “Ace Clera” - but his age changes with each arrest because he never says the true one.
Rein travels his region and nearby ones to take pictures and share them on his blog, called “Clear Skies.” It’s a play on his name being pronounced as “Rain.” However, he runs the blog under his pseudonym, Ace Clera, so that police can’t link it to him. He’s slowly working up the courage to go to Alola, but it’s pretty far from his home and he’s terrified of boats and water in general. Despite having his Gyarados Ryver to save him if something happens, he still gets nervous at the thought of drowning..
Main Team
“Ryver” - Gyarados - Female (caught as Magikarp while fishing as a child in the local river)
“Sparky” - Raichu - Male (caught as a Pichu, is one of Rein’s main companion Pokemon)
“Day” - Espeon - Male (got as an Eevee egg, brother of Night. A bit of a spoiled Prince)
“Cuddles” - Corviknight - Male (caught, is a huge cuddle bug. Rein caught him because he looked really cool and scary and named him Cuddles ironically, not knowing he’d actually become so cuddly)
“Sunshine” (Sunny when his brother isn’t around) - Mimikyu - Female (given as an egg by his brother, Sunny. Is Rein’s buddy at night when he sleeps. A total cuddlebug and lovebug. Rein likes to decorate Kit’s disguise)
“Rage” - Torracat - Male (given as an egg by his sister, Summer)
Family
Father / Erin Frei / (age unknown, presumed to be in his late sixties) / ex-Pokemon Professor (the only one in their small town) / Companion Pokemon: Leafeon (Autumn)
Mother / Felicity Clera / deceased / Companion Pokemon: Eevee (Hope) - now in the care of Sunny
Brother / Sunny / 31 / Trainer / Gave Rein the egg that would later hatch into Mimikyu (thus  Rein’s Mimikyu being named after his brother) / Often meets up with Rein during his travels to give gifts to Sunshine / Companion Pokemon: Arcanine (Fluffy)
Brother / Snow / 27 / Coordinator (and accidental Sneasel breeder) / Engaged to his fiance, Leo / Has given a Sneasel egg to each of his siblings / Companion Pokemon: Two Sneasels (Shadow [M] and Joy[F])
Future Brother-in-Law / Leo / 28 / Breeder (specifically cat-like Pokemon) / Engaged to Snow / Companion Pokemon: Pyroar (Pride[M])
Sister / Summer / 25 / Trainer / Aiming to be a gym leader one day / Infernape (Chimchee [M])
Other Pokemon
“Winter” - Sneasel - Female (given as an egg by his brother, Snow. Is a bit of an attention hog)
“Spring” - Bulbasaur - Male (got as an egg from a breeder while traveling shortly after his mom passed)
“Skye” - Dratini - Female (caught during travels. Is a bit of a scaredy cat)
“Night” - Umbreon - Female (got as an Eevee egg, sister of Day. A bit of a tomboy)
“Star” - Staryu - (genderless) (caught near the beach, is joked to be Rein 2.0 because of its lack of gender)
Dream Pokemon
Sylveon (the literal trans icon Pokemon)
Alolan Vulpix (IT’S SO CUTE) - can’t attain because he’s literally terrified of boats because WHAT IF HE DROWNS. It took all his willpower to travel outside his home region for the first time when he was seventeen.
Fun Facts
Rein is terrified of water (in terms of river/ocean/swimming). The closest he’s ever gotten is when fishing with his grandmother, which is how he caught Ryver. He was reluctant to keep a water type, he never wanted one, but his grandmother talked him into one. A few years later, a powerful storm hit. Rein went out trying to find his grandmother, who wasn’t at home, and ended up falling in the water. He’d have drowned if not for Ryver, who evolved while trying to rescue him.
Yes, Rein is perfectly aware that his siblings and him have weird names. His parents were going for a theme. They were also picked out names like Autumn and Spring, but neither got used because his parents were struggling to conceive, and then his mother got too sick to have children and passed when Rein was fifteen.
He has a weakness for cute Pokemon, but he tries to hide it so he can look “tough” and “cool.”
Rein hasn’t spoken to his father in four years, as his father spiraled after Rein’s mother passed. His father was once a respected professor, with his main now being a Leafeon named Autumn (the name Rein’s mother was going to give their next child)
He often gets in reckless situations (including being near ruins when legendaries are present and almost getting crushed by debris or in the crossfire of attacks). He’s been lectured multiple times about this kind of behavior by Sunny, but he never listens because he wants to take amazing pictures
His last name for his fake persona (Ace Clera) was chosen because it’s his mother’s maiden name. “Ace” came from her childhood dreams of being an “Ace Trainer.” He’s saying he wants to be her dream.
He pretends to be an edgy boy, but c’mon guys...his dream Pokemon are Alolan Vulpix and Sylveon. He has a weakness for cute Pokemon (and cute things in general). He’s not edgy. Not at all.
He doesn’t like sweet things, because they hurt his teeth.
He doesn’t like being hugged without permission. He actually wears clothes that cover most of his body so that he doesn’t have to feel the contact of skin on skin. If someone tries to hug him, he’ll curl up in a ball or shrink to the ground and shout in terror (he can never get his voice up to a scream. If he’s frightened, he usually goes quiet)
Sometimes he forgets to remove his hood and mask after his “missions,” so people tend to think he looks like a shifty guy. It’s not uncommon, though, for some people to later spot him have a sudden character change the moment he sees a cute Pokemon
He doesn’t take on gym leaders because he’s terrified of crowds and doesn’t want to be watched.

My Favorite Pokemon of Each Type
Tumblr media
I wonder how obvious it is which Pokemon Gen was my first? So I wanted to not only share my favorite Pokemon, but also the reasoning behind why I like them as much as I do. I also took the liberty to include in the descriptions below the 2nd and 3rd place runner ups for each type. A couple ground rules I held myself to: 1. No legendaries, mythical pokemon, or special event Pokemon 2. No Megas, no Alolan Forms
GRASS - SCEPTILE
My least favorite of the Hoenn starters, and the one I was last to do a playthrough with, Sceptile is still by far one of, if not the best grass starter in any generation. The Hoenn region being covered by a lot of water certainly does help its case, and gives it an edge over Team Aqua. Although, for being named Team Aqua, they sure don’t have a lot of water-type pokemon. Still, Sceptile’s speed made it quite the formidable pokemon.
2nd - Tsareena 3rd - Trevenant
FIRE - BLAZIKEN
The first starter I ever completed a Hoenn playthrough with, Blaziken was often my go-to starter for the Hoenn region, largely due to how adorable Torchic was, and how strong Blaziken was. Honestly, I think it has one of the most broken, OP Mega forms in the game, and I absolutely adore it. You may have noticed my top 3 Fire types are all starter pokemon. Yeah, Fire Pokemon as a whole are not very good, so the starters tend to be the only really viable fire types in any given game.
2nd - Charizard 3rd - Infernape
WATER - MILOTIC
I freaking love this monstrosity. Pack this little lady up with Surf, Recover, Toxic, and Ice Beam, and you’ve got a self-regenerating wall. I’ve blown through entire teams with this dynamite creature. This thing has saved me from the brink of defeat, swept teams, stalled long enough to give me the advantage, and whatever else it could in so many battles that I do not do a playthrough without one on my team. I’m even willing to violate the “no repeating types” rule I tend to employ just to have this thing with me. I truly cannot sing its praises enough.
2nd - Kingdra 3rd - Azumarill
NORMAL - LOPUNNY
A very solid hitter, I ran one on a cutesy/beauty team a while back, and it sometimes swept entire teams. I still remember a fight where one of these lovely ladies punched her way through an entire team of Snorlaxes and she wasn’t even Mega-Evolved. I tended to run Power Up Punch, Drain Punch, Attract, and Fire Punch in case of ghosts. Her speed made her a phenomenal support, and the only reason I don’t use her as much any more is that she could benefit from more healing moves or just being bulkier.
2nd - Blissey 3rd - Eevee
ELECTRIC - ELECTIVIRE
Okay, so this thing is more physical than special, and most Electric moves are special, but I tended to just run  this guy with Wild Charge, Earthquake, Ice Punch, and Giga Impact. While not the greatest pokemon in the world, I certainly can recall numberous fights where it saved my butt. Plus, it just looks really awesome.
2nd - Luxray 3rd - Manectric
PSYCHIC - ESPEON
Prior to the introduction of Sylveon in gen VI, this thing was the undisputed best Eeveelution in my opinion. Now, I still hold Espeon as #1 due to its healing factor, but Sylveon is a very close 2nd place. I always run this Pokemon with Magic Bounce, and the moves Psychic, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, and Morning Sun. While it’s not a perfect set and it doesn’t protect against physical moves, it has been useful in the past, and has even completely stonewalled opponents from being able to do anything. It’s also a great pokemon to send out first, since it counters set up Pokemon, and so it can set up Calm Mind while the opponent is busy swapping out for a Pokemon that can actually do damage. If possible, it’s a really good Pokemon to Baton Pass out because if you can send it out with raised Defense stats, the Magic Bounce will protect it from moves like Roar, Whirlwind, and other moves that would normally destroy a set up playing style.
2nd - Alakazam 3rd - Gallade
FIGHTING - LUCARIO
Not gonna lie, this one is more of a favorite due to cool factor and awesome design, as Fighting is really not one of my favorite types, and I’ve only actually used this Pokemon a couple of times. It’s good, really very good, but it’s just not one I instinctively say “yes, this is a must have on any team”, so it doesn’t get used very much.
2nd - Breloom 3rd - Toxicroak
ROCK - AGGRON
Another Pokemon I can remember liking more for design, I remember working very long and hard to get one for Pokemon Emerald, and I just caught a wild Lairon on Victory Road and trained it until it evolved. I don’t have a deep emotional connection to it, but when I need a bulky tank with an earthy kind of type, this pokemon is always the first to pop into my mind.
2nd - Tyranitar 3rd - Aerodactyl
GROUND - SWAMPERT
My very first starter pokemon ever, Swampert has always had a place in my heart, and its role as a bulky tank that hits hard has endeared it greatly in my heart. Although it suffers from a 4x weakness to grass, in the original Ruby and Sapphire games, this really wasn’t an issue, since most trainers lacked grass-type pokemon.
2nd - Garchomp 3rd - Flygon
FLYING - TOGEKISS
This thing is a freaking nightmare. You get this little lady with Ancient Power, Air Slash, Flamethrower, and Dazzling Gleam, and you’re looking at a non-stop flinching and stat boosting villain. I have completely curbstomped players with one of these, I cannot stress how great this thing is. And if you don’t feel like running Ancient Power, Thunder Wave can be great for eliminating whatever competition it might possible have for speed. And Roost can make this thing all the more annoying to try and kill. This thing is just great all around.
2nd - Gliscor 3rd - Crobat
BUG - SCOLIOPEDE
I’m not a big fan of bug-types. Most of them suck, and even most bug type moves are complete crap, so I don’t really use the type very much. Still, I have run one of these in the past, and Protect + Swords Dance + Speed Boost can turn this thing into a high speed sniper. I definitely have fond memories of this thing. And because it can learn Baton Pass, it’s a great stat gatherer too.
2nd - Ribombe 3rd - Beautifly
POISON - ROSERADE
Another type I don’t really use very much, my favortism for Roserade is mostly due to loving Drew’s Roselia in the anime, and just loving it’s design as a beautiful rose. A solid Pokemon, I don’t really use one anymore, but for a casual playthrough, it works well enough.
2nd - Dragalgae 3rd - Toxipex
DARK - GRENINJA
Let’s be real, everybody loves this thing. We all know why we love this thing. It doesn’t need to be spelled out. Greninja is awesome. The internet collectively agrees. This thing rocks.
2nd - Hydreigon 3rd - Absol
GHOST - MIMIKYU
Talk about a broken ability. With its Disguise ability, Mimikyu effectively has a free turn to do whatever. Whether you want to use Swords Dance to strengthen yourself, or if you wanna get in a strong Super Effective attack, Mimikyu really is just a free turn, and who can argue with that?
2nd - Aegislash 3rd - Mismagius
ICE - WALREIN
Another type I don’t use very much, I  can remember this thing being so hard to kill while fighting Glacia. This thing is an absolute wall, and it’s a shame it doesn’t have any healing moves because this thing would become an impregnable barrier.
2nd - Cloister 3rd - Frosslass
STEEL - METAGROSS
It’s an extremely overpowered pseudolegendary. Do I really have to say more? It’s a major fan favorite, and it’s a lot of people’s favorite steel type.
2nd - Steelix 3rd - Scizor
DRAGON - SALAMENCE
There are a lot of good dragons, but when I was a kid, this was the king dragon (except for Rayquaza), and you  were the envy of every kid on the playground if you had one of these guys. So for that reason, this guy is forever in my heart as the best dragon.
2nd - Noivern 3rd - Goodra
FAIRY - GARDEVOIR
Let me tell you, this little lady right here is hands down my absolute favorite pokemon, and no not because of waifu art. This thing right here is hands down one of the strongest pokemon in the series, one of the most popular, and is also extremely beautiful. I thought very little of Ralts when I saw them, but when I saw my rival’s Gardevoir, i fell in love so fast I actually restarted the game from scratch to go back and get myself a Ralts. I do not play a game without this pokemon on my team. Period. End of Discussion. I absolutely adore this pokemon, and the mega evolution only made its carnage all the more destructive. 10/10, #1 favorite pokemon. Just amazing.
2nd - Sylveon 3rd - Clefairy

Yuru Yuri Pokemon Teams: Akari
Akari is the little sister of Akane Akaza, a powerful Pokemon trainer. Her older sisters skills in battling is what drove her to become a Pokemon trainer herself. With the help of her Shiny Skitty, She was able to become a........decent trainer. Her theme is Normal types and Normal Type moves, so don’t expect her to be that much of a challenge:
(Shiny!) Delcatty: [Gender: Female] [Ability: Normalize] [Item: Focus Sash] [Moves: Swift, Heal Bell, Protect, Play Rough]
Delcatty has been with Akari since it was a young Skitty. It was a gift from Akane when that she gave Akari on her birthday when she was young, it was the runt of Akane’s Delcatty’s litter. The little one wouldn’t have survived without extra help, and Akane knew Akari was that extra help the little Skitty needed. But not only did the Skitty survive, it lived to be a strong willed Pokemon that would do anything for its master and team. It is one of Akari’s most courageous and and honestly most rational of he Pokemon. It knows what a good or bad idea, which is very handy for someone like Akari. And it settles things with other people's Pokemon, like getting Chinatsu’s Sylveon to quit bullying Kyoko’s Kommo-o and Sakurako’s Salazzle. It even stand up to Sylveon, something that some of the other Pokemon are too afraid to do. Akari’s Delcatty is seen as a very heroic Pokemon to many, especially to Akari herself.
Snorlax: [Gender: Female] [Ability: Thick Fat] [Item: None] [Moves: Body Slam, Earthquake, Rest, Sleep Talk]
Snorlax without a doubt Akari’s most lazy Pokemon. It sleeps most of the day and eats for almost the entire time it’s awake. When it’s not eating or sleeping, it often plays with Akari and her other Pokemon. Or, it’ll help Akari face an opponent in a Pokemon battle. Snorlax can take a hit even from a fighting type move pretty well, not letting itself go down easily. Akari repays it in a pile of snacks, candy, and fruit for all its hard work. Then again, it doesn’t take much for a Snorlax to work up an appetite.
Staraptor: [Gender: Female] [Ability: Intimidate] [Items: None] [Moves: Quick Attack, Brave Bird, Pursuit, Giga Impact]
Staraptor is basically the rash thinker of Akari’s Team. It used to use moves that Akari didn’t tell it to use or just attack the nearest Pokemon even if they were on the same team. After a lot of talking to and pleading (mostly pleading), Staraptor started to behave itself a bit. But nowadays it just steals food from Akari or Delcatty when they forget about it or randomly challenge Pokemon to a battle instead of just randomly attacking them. It’s also pretty arrogant, then again it doesn’t help that it wins most of its battles due to its ability Intimidation and its speed. Also, Akari and her team tend to say its doing to be polite, though that really doesn’t help shrink its ego at all.
Mimikyu: [Gender: Male] [Ability: None] [Item: None] [Moves: Shadow Claw, Play Rough, Wood Hammer, Thunderbolt]
Before Mimikyu met Akari, it was the most miserable Pokemon in the woods where it used to live. With the cloth it wore to look like Pikachu, it hoped to find at least one friend. But, it didn’t. Most trainers and Pokemon were scared off by it since there were no Ghost Types where it lived, meaning that Mimikyu’s appearance was enough to scare any potential friends away. It then one day bumped into Akari, who at first was scared by Mimikyu unsurprisingly. Delcatty was a bit scared by it as well but then saw that Akari was scared and put on its to face Mimikyu. It then looked and saw Mimikyu’s real eyes after seeing some tears fall from the disguises midsection. It saw how miserable Mimikyu looked, causing it to lower its defenses and take pity on it. Akari saw this and felt bad for Mimikyu. Mimikyu was about to run away in tears but then stopped and saw that the two didn’t run away from it. It was surprised that Akari and Delcatty didn’t flee in terror from it. After some talking, Akari asked if Mimikyu would like to join her team. It instantly agreed to that offer. After that, Mimikyu was sad no more. It had a new home, new friends, and finally got to experience the joy in battling other Pokemon. Akari’s friends were at first frightened by Mimikyu, except for Himawari since she had a team that was mostly Ghost Types. Slowly but surely, the others began to like Mimikyu a lot, as well as their Pokemon. Mimikyu is actually close friends with Kyoko’s Kommo-o and Sakurako’s Salazzle. Thanks to Akari, Mimikyu’s life has changed for the better.
Slowbro: [Gender: Male] [Ability: Oblivious] [Item: Slowbronite] [Moves: Surf, Psychic, Slack Off, Substitute]
Slowbro is probably the most dense of Akari’s Pokemon. Much like most of its kind it has an incredibly delayed reaction time and reflex. Though, this does work in Akari’s favor. Since most attacks that his it take a while fr it’s brain to tell it the attack hurt, Slowbro can keep on battling even when it’s at low hp. Also, she likes that she has a Slowbro and Chitose has a Slowking, they both like to joke that they match in a way with that sort of similarity. Also, Slowbro confused looks like Slowbro when its basically doing anything, so telling when it’s confused or not is tricky. Akari loves Slowbro, but she wishes it had a quicker reaction time like Chitose’s Slowking.
Bewear: [Gender: Female] [Ability: Fluffy] [Item: None] [Move: Hyper Beam, Superpower, Thunder Punch, Bulk Up]
Bewear is the friendliest and most huggable Pokemon on Akari’s team. But, if you were to ever be hugged by Bewear then you’d probably end up in the hospital for weeks, days if you’re lucky. Akari has to always remind Bewear to be careful of its strength, and for the most part it does. Except with Akari, Akane, and their Pokemon. It always uses all it’s strength when hugging them, which is why Akari and the others tend to avoid Bewear’s hugs as best as they can. Bewear is also friends with Kyoko’s Galvantula and Sakurako’s Sandslash, mostly because Galvantula shocks Bewear before Bewear can hug it too tight and Sandslash’s spines prevent Bewear hugging too close since the spines hurt if it hugs Sandslash too tight. Bewear is a Pokemon with good intentions, but it just needs to control its strength a bit more.
Wow, I’ve been delaying this for a long time but it was worth it. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and I hope to see you next time!
