Terrible news were brought to me (Seele's gacha outfit is rerunning) and now I wanna talk about the neglect Herrscher of the Void suffered, still is, by MiHoYo. She is my most favorite character in all of Hi3rd, and I am just so very tired of it all.

New Divine Key.

MiHoYo has been giving old herrschers battlesuits (ie +2yo) new Divine Keys, they started with HoReason then HoThunder ; logically speaking HoVoid should have been next, she is the last member of the original Herrscher trio.

However, HoSentience got it. It's not even because giving HoVoid would be a "lore issue", just look at HoSentience.

I can understand why MiHoYo gave one to HoSentience, they tried to replace her with HoRebirth and the fandom might have not liked that, so they had to keep HoSentience meta. It's not the first time MiHoYo does things because of the fandom (especially CN).

HoSentience was still good mind you, so HoRebirth impact on HoSentience meta placement wouldn't have been much, especially considering that HoRebirth can be a dps who needs HoSentience.

HoSentience wasn't in a place where a new Divine Key was needed, and yet she got one instead of HoVoid, and I'm afraid that mihoyo might use that as a way to skip HoVoid all-together, they'll have to "follow the Herrscher order" and give one to the Herrscher that came after HoSentience (i sincerely hope that this fear of mine doesn't become reality).

Her treatment in story and Story Recaps

This is pretty well known by that point that HoVoid is completely ignored and skipped over when MiHoYo does story recaps.

In an event recounting Kiana's journey (a puzzle picture event) MiHoYo opted to skip HoVoid and instead put the Moonbeam battlesuit.

In a set of Stigmatas recounting Kiana's life and growth, HoVoid was not included ; instead less important (to Kiana) characters made it in, Li Sushang and Rita for example ; which is odd considering that the PROMOTIONAL Stigmata for chapter 25 was excellent as it included all Kiana's steps.

All of this is an issue because HoVoid is one of the most important part of Kiana's story, without her Himeko wouldn't have died, and therefore the whole story might have not have happened at all, she is the reason we have the story we have, and yet she is ignored ; after chapter 9 we do not see her and she only reappears to be killed off in chapter 25, only to be ignored again and reappear for a small cameo in Da Capo.

Which is a shame because she is such a well written character, that could have offered so much to the story. But she was ignored.

In-game

First of all I wanna talk about outfits ; she has 3 of them (not bad some battlesuits don't have any) one of them is her gacha outfit : Frigid Empress.

It hasn't had a single rerun in more than 3 years. While MiHoYo reruns outfits that are less than 6 months old.

The most outrageous example is the most recent : in December of 2023, during Kiana's birthday MiHoYo reran her newest summer outfit that came out the same year.

They prioritized a very new summer outfit over Frigid Empress in DECEMBER.

Next is Elysian Realm : HoVoid was the last Herrscher (at the time) to join, alongside HoHuman who was literally coming out. And ever since, there hasn't been a single instance of a weather benefiting her appearing, she was good once and never again since.

And while HoVoid (the battlesuit) has appeared in recent Captainverse events, it hasn't brought anything new to her, other than some minor exposure, i won't just take exposure as a gift, this is the bare minimum.

genshin theory rambles

honestly most genshin theories can be answered with “honkai” or “herrscher” or a related term.

“what is forbidden knowledge?” honkai. “who is the unknown god?” a herrscher.

even the false sky/what is teyvat has to do with bubble universes i think. the samsara cycles? its the honkai repeating the civilization over and over. the curse on the hilichurls? honkai. whatever’s going on with dainsleif and arlecchino? probably honkai. honestly the decenders who are described as having power to rival a world, are probably herrschers or potential herrschers.

you get the idea. i’m just now playing hi3 and Everything Made Sense like almost immediately.

basically genshin isn’t in the same universe bc it’s in a bubble universe but the multiverse is the same. it’s still within the worldbuilding of the honkaiverse, which is multiple universes.

also i think anything bright red is related to honkai, aside from the pyro element itself (which is usually more orange)

honestly i could be wrong about all of this bc i did just start playing hi3 but to me at least it makes the most sense so far. ofc it doesn’t fill in all of the gaps, but things start to connect after a while.

if anyone else has honkai-genshin theories please do add to this! i’m really invested in the lore and i wanna know more.

also i stopped the eva/nge series (personal reasons) but from what i know, a lot of inspiration is taken from that series, including the name “impact.”

and of course the direct collab in hi3, there’s literally an asuka battlesuit. the plots are similar. even as someone who’s only gotten halfway through the show and has read theories, it’s really similar. there’s a lot of clear inspiration.

just some thoughts! i’m also looking forward to seeing how star rail plays into this in the future.

Situation's so dire if this drags on you're going to pick up a MiHoYo game. Save us IS4. Or Ex Astris. Is Ex Astris an acceptable substitute?

It'll never get to that point because I've already played Hoyo games and I don't like them. I've talked about it before but I gave Honky 3rd and Genshin fair shakes, and I enjoyed them both! But Hoyo's particular business practices + ways of going about gacha and stuff (character gacha, weapon gacha, accessory gacha, element gacha with tons of FOMO in Honky 3rd was enough to make me nod my head and fuck right off the moment AK released) makes me not want to deal with what's basically glorified DPS races that require a bit too much investment. Mind you, I did enjoy the narrative of Honky decently well enough and like some characters a lot (like Theresa, Fu Hua, Kiana and The Bronya). Genshin I played one month and sincerely enjoyed it but ultimately I really did not care about what the plot had going, any of the characters, and the game's systems were all geared towards being DPS races anyways so the element combo system was just a vehicle with which to Do More Damage, and the Epic Seven-style of having to grind accessories with Good Substats forever was a huge turn-off because I already did my time in Epic Seven. My favorite part of Genshin was exploring the open world, which I enjoyed greatly, finding the collectibles and all.

Ex Astris hopefully will work! I do wanna see what they are cooking with that!

hey sorry if this is weird, but i noticed the ask from someone talking about aventurine lore few days ago and wanted to add something.

topaz does not have any tattoos or markings like the serial number on aventurine. im literally looking at her character model in game right now and theres nothing on her skin. her neck is covered by her collar but unless mihoyo wanted to add a detail that is entirely covered by a characters clothes, its just not there. that doesnt mean topaz isnt a slave to the ipc, she definitely is (and so is aventurine), but her situation is different from his.

as for the sigonians being space romani, it is a popular theory, but at this point we know very little about them. avgin translating to honey is one hint, but theres also been talk of sigonian coming from tzigane, if you wanna look into that. ive also seen people say that the word are significantly more similar in chinese, but i dont speak the language so i wouldnt know. both romani and sigonians are also stereotyped as liars and thieves, if we believe sparkle calling sigonians notorious across the universe for these things. im no expert on the topic so idk how plausible the theory is, but like. i dont think its good to say that sigonians are based on nothing (especially since mihoyo draws a lot of inspiration from many different cultures) when we simply dont have any real information on them yet.

My review of AFK Journey after getting through Dark Forest 2 (level 70+)

So I will be honest with yall, I have been itching to write this. Ever since getting into this game a few days ago, I have been wanting to write a review about this game. Because something about it just makes me wanna put out my feelings about it in words. I will be open about this from the start though: I have not played it's predecessor AFK Arena. Largely because afk games just do not appeal to me. Even though many of the gachas I have played before this had auto mode in it, and had some form of AFK mode in it. (which means, you just wait for a certain item to generate over real time)

Starting out, I had some flashbacks to the Ghibli gacha, Ni no kuni Cross worlds. Which was a very polarising game for it's forced autopathing and heavy monetisation mechanics (which means you're almost forced to pay in order to progress) I remember how devestated I was when I found out how terrible of a game this turned out to be, despite my expectations for it, having played the switch game prior and loving it to bits.

What does AFK Journey have to do with this? Well, simply the reason that I was terrified that this thing would happen all over again. I was scared, but pleasantly suprised. I think there is a fine line that developers can walk on. The balance between keeping your player base happy, and making money on your game. which hasn't been done by many developers. The biggest company who does this right is Mihoyo or Hoyoverse. I think by keeping your playerbase happy, you can in turn make money long term. However, a lot of companies that develop gacha games, do not care much, and seem to usually go for the quick money rather than the quality of their game. Long story short, stay away from games developed/managed by Netmarble.

AFK Journey seems to be doing things alright. It isn't a Hoyoverse game, I am well aware of that. It has a very predatory monetisation system which I advice to stay away from when you are prone to or have an addictive personality.

Let's talk about the audio first Yes, I do enjoy the BGM. It's nice to listen to and it gives a nice mellow vibe for when you're just standing there with your hero party (foreshadowing) I think they should add a few tracks though. It gets boring to listen to the same tracks over and over.

The voice acting is mid. The audio quality is bad, and the voice work itself leaves a lot to be desired. I've heard from people who played both English and Japanese dub that both suck equally. I am currently putting it to Hoyoverse standards, or even Devsisters (Cookie run) I know that. But I think that's the least a gacha game can do for it's players. having competent voice actors on the job delivering the lines naturally. It's not the case currently. The names of the current voice actors aren't even named in game.

AFK Journey is an afk game Knowing this, I think you might know what I am about to say. Yes, the leveling system requires you to stand there on the map and wait for materials to flow in over time. Maybe even close out the game. Personally though, I have been hanging out in the chatrooms within the game. I think that's fine for a game mechanic. The bad part is that the flow of materials is next to nothing and you're forced to wait DAYS on end to progress. The difficulty spike is a lot after Dark Forest 3 and keeps on getting worse.

The chatrooms themselfs are alright but could be better. I still find it sorta weird how they allow nsfw talk publicly when there are definately minors who play the game.

The system with the servers also kind of cockblocked me from friending people who were placed on a different server, which is sad. I wish they'd add a function where you can friend people on other servers but keep out the ability to assist them or something like that. At least add an option to keep in touch with people.

The gacha system Ironically, this is one of the best parts of the game. I like comparing it to the cookie run kingdom gacha, because it's that generous. If you're playing to get waifus I think this game is 100% for you. Yes, there is monetisation but I really feel like the gacha is so well done that you can do this entirely F2P without having to worry. Keep in mind though, I started playing during the launch period which gave me more gacha currency to work with. Even so, I think the gacha is great and dare I say better than Hoyoverse gacha.

My general impression a week into playing This game is mid. And I mean that in a semi positive way. It is good at entertaining me for a while. And I suppose that's all we can expect from it. This is no Genshin Impact. It is however a sequel to AFK arena which was a game that has been pretty popular as well. Would I reccomend people playing this? yes and no. It really depends on what you're looking for. I think when it comes to gachas that are similar, Cookie run kingdom would still sorta win at least in the story and voice acting categories. I'd say, play this game if all you care about is the characters then by all means give it a go. As this game has very good character design.

Before I go I want to name a few positive things besides the character design. The community seems to be alright. Everyone is there to help each other, and the chatroom is a lot of fun to hang out in while grinding AFK levels.

Final verdict: Great game to play for a month and then forget about. We'll see when the next update drops. 6/10

The whole Archon interaction definitely made me giggle, especially Xiao just dying inside the entire time, poor guy, I'm sure Venti was living it up though

I desperately need to see a conversation between specifically Venti and Zhongli after that, I need to see just how much restraint Zhongli was enacting and I need to see it crumble

I don’t enjoy or consume any media where black people are not the main characters in it or if white people out number them. I’ve mostly stopped watching media where black people aren’t in it and honestly it feels great. I did this first with straight people, I’ve seen so much straight romance and hardly any queer romance so I made the decision to not watch any romance tv shows/movies about straight people and it’s great. Why would I waste my time with something I’ve been forced to watch for 18 years? Same with white people. I’ve grown up with white centered media and only recently have I’ve seen black centered media but it’s nowhere near the same level as white centered media. I already don’t watch alot of TV or movies so you can’t argue that I must be miserable about this. Everytime I see a white character or white only movies I ask myself “Why is this character white?”. The same way racists question why must a character be black or gay. This happens every single time because why IS this character white? What does their pale skin bring to the table? How is their straight hair something revolutionary? Why did they make this character white and not any other race? This last part is mostly about Gregory from FNAF:SB because why DID they make that little white boy white? I ask myself why is this character white and why not black because it’s something (idk I forgot what I was gonna write here). Since I quit genshin I asked myself why did they add white characters in instead of making everyone a POC and feature different regions where non-white people reside (mihoyo is capitalist company and want to appeal to white people I already know this. They wanna appeal to white anime fans.) I mean I see race before I see anything because that’s just how it is, that’s just how the world works. And right now I have all this saw stuff on my dash and I just see all these white characters and yes I know there are black characters in the franchise, I’m aware they exist but are they important? Do they hold the same role and importance and impact to their white counterparts? Do white people think their interesting and worth drawing, analyzing, writing and talking about? No they aren’t. This mainly sparked from that one racist Scott Pilgrim fan who got mad at me for pointing out how there are no black characters. She said there is a black manager in the comics, then went on to say there is knives (like she isn’t a stereotype of East Asian women) and Mathew. Both of those characters aren’t black and you don’t even know the name of the black manger….she wasn’t even important enough to be in the movie. If she was and if she was an important character why does no one talk about her and one black character isn’t enough. There is nothing a white character can do that a black character can’t.

So I am finally getting around to writing a proper intro post lol, so hi, i'm tsintzask, or tsin for short. i use that handle everywhere online pretty much, so if you see a tsintzask elsewhere, chances are it's me.

i have had this blog for a long time now, but only really became active here after reddit decided to ban the app i was using to access it. I was an /r/196 user who migrated to my unused blog, basically.

I'm from Greece, and I study computer science in college. As of writing this, I am about to get my degree and start my masters program, so that's going pretty good.

i would consider myself an anarchist, though i don't think humanity is currently ready for that kind of world - i think there's just too many evil people around that would seek to take advantage of things. still, the current system has got to go. the fundamental idea behind capitalism is to prioritize money over people, and that's just plain evil.

As for other stuff about me, i have been told before i have neurodivergent vibes (it wasn't in like in a derogatory way, but as a serious thing) and yeah i kinda see that. I ought to go get checked sometime

i like a lot of things, as you can see in my blog description: D&D, Pathfinder, Pokémon, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Terraria, insects, cats, memes, cute/wholesome stuff, theater, basic human decency. And I wanna gush about my likes a bit-

D&D and Pathfinder

I've been a player in both d&d 5e and pathfinder 2e, and a DM in d&d 5e. we're talking whole years of doing this. making characters is really fun, and playing them is even more fun! I mostly play online over Discord, but have played a lot irl too, and still do.

Pokémon

While i'm not as into it as i used to in my teens, i have played every game from pokemon pearl up to ultra moon, but not any further as i don't own a switch. that is subject to change if/when i get more into piracy. I've also played pokemon emerald and leaf green in emulators, and i've played mystery dungeon: explorers of darkness. one of the few video games to actually make me cry, btw.

Genshin Impact & Honkai Star Rail

this is my most recent fascination, i've been at it for a couple years now. mihoyo makes their games so incredibly gay and i love that. while i've been a bit burnt out on genshin, i am currently enjoying star rail a whole lot! and i ship a bunch of stuff that sometimes contradicts each other, so if you see conflicting ship arts in my reblogs, there's why. part of it is that i ship kujou sara with every other girl in genshin

I'm not a theater nerd or anything, but I did go to an amateur theater group for a couple years. was fun, i'd do it again for sure!

Basic Human Decency

I just think being nice is good. i don't get argumentative often; I used to argue often, but i try to keep most of my interactions with bigots/assholes/etc as a simple joke on their expense before i block them. also, it's taking some effort, but when i have something negative to comment on someone i don't actually have reason to dislike, i've been trying to just let it go and ignore instead.

Okay so im back for a minute since i saw some stuff you had posted

1. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMBIBITOR LUNAE. IM SO GLAD HE ALSO CAME HOME FOR YOU. So about Bailu and the Vidyadhara in general, im going to try my best to generalise it and also not to accidently spoil anything so 1. They can reincarnate infinitely but at the cost of their own memories. So once they self reincarnate, they wont keep their old memories, although there are some exceptions for some vidyadhara but i wont elborate on that since that is something you’ll learn eventually. 2. They cannot have children, so if any vidyadhara dies, it is a big deal. 3. Yeah they are immortal in a way, they simply self reincarnate to continue their life albeit at the cost of their memories. 4. Bailu is an interesting case but im afraid if i talk more i might spoil you so just enjoy the story

Also about Luocha, well there isnt much information about him. All we know about him is that he seems to be blessed by Yaoshi and he looks eerily similar to a antagonist from Mihoyo’s other game, Honkai Impact 3rd. There is also one other piece of info i left out about him that we currently have but judging from where you are at the story, i dont wanna spoil it and want you to have the joy of witnessing it. The Xianzhou Luofu arc is honestly exposition arc for the overarching story of HSR so you will get much more lore about them (i think we will get to know more about the vidyadhara more in the future since there are still the other Xianzhou ships)

2. OMG the idea of an Ex fatui agent reader & wanderer would be an cute and excellent idea. Both of were victims of The Doctor and suffered immensely because of him. Even when they don’t seem like it, they have many similarities and with Nahida Therapy, i think both of them will eventually be their closest friend for each other because of their dark history with the doctor, they both understand each other because of that history. Also i cant help but imagine a very cute family with reader being the parent, Wanderer being a snarky older brother, while Collei is the baby of the family. They may be very traumatized but they will still kill anyone that hurts their little family :)

3. OOOOO PLATONIC HSR X READER THOUGHTS! Ok since im currently running a bit late rn, i will simply give one thought i have. Qingque and their workaholic older sibling, so we know Qingque is lazy as hell right? Why not give her an older sibling who is very strict and stern with her and would nag Qingque to stop being a slacker. I imagine this sibling to be an Amicassador for the Sky Faring Commision like Tingyun, so they would be out a lot, which let Qingque slack as much as possible but dw the reader had someone to keep an eye on her :)

Alice is pretty important given her contributions to Teyvat. Klee, first and foremost.

The Tree That Stands Alone quest where you find treasure in Mingyun and it turns out all three sons let their greed for treasure kill them. Their dad has filled the chest each year with some mora so they could later use it to buy some stuff and reminisce about the old times except they’re all dead now. That was so sad.

A lot of the NPCs were done relatively well, I think. The world quests really hurt in a good way and definitely adds to Dain’s argument against trusting the gods. I still think we should have be able to beat the shit out of Azar.

Madame Ping for giving us the teapot. It’s taking forever to build furniture and collect wood, though. I’m almost there.

Overall, I’m pleased at the complexity and contrast (and similarities!) between the immortals and mortals in the game. It’s like “What of duty?” “What of sacrifice?” sort of thing. I admit, there are instances of bad writing in the game, but it’s… it’s a pleasant thing to explore in game and lore.

Also sudden thought I had earlier but Gold and Alice are now girlfriends in my eyes, I am converted, baptized. But yes, here and there, even the minimal ones Genshin does put in work to make them nice and likeable, sometimes even brutal about it (except for Xavier's er second movie, I cringed so hard at the film). But yes on that, we should have been given the option to beat up or leave Azar to the forest like the guy in the Aranara quest

Even tho it fucking hurts, I love how genshin can go ham with npcs since they won't have to worry about killing them off here and there, the flavor of it all and everything. Even the tiny ones where they're just living their lives, but watching it all progress is so good. There are even some pieces where the npcs parallel characters or resemble their stories

One thing I wanna note is I hope we get back to Jeht, I'm worried for her and I really wanted to be there after the Golden Slumber quest (but also MIHOYO PLEASE GIVE ME LOREMASTER WORLD QUEST I WILL TAKE SO MANY PICTURES, KNEES ON THE GROUND)

Alrighty! With the Golden Apple Archipelago event coming to a close yet again, Paimon thinks it’s time for a survey!

I had a lot to say this time, so I thought I’d share my thoughts here!

My questions were regarding the overall event as well as Mona’s section.

I personally really enjoyed Mona’s section considering I don’t know all that much about her because Mihoyo won’t let me pull her (come home Monaaaa). It was interesting to hear more about her point of view on astrology, especially considering I missed the initial event with her and Fischl (and Scaramouche). I had no idea that she saw it as such a burden and it genuinely moved me to hear what she had to say. It also helped that her domain was absolutely stunning! The night skies in Genshin have always been so beautiful. The first time I stopped to really look at them, I was absolutely starstruck (no pun intended)!

However, when it came to the open ended portion, I had a bit more to stay:

“I really enjoyed the event! However, I don’t think it was as memorable/enjoyable as the original golden apple archipelago event. The story felt a lot more disjointed and while it was interesting hearing more about the character’s history, I feel like the overall story was a bit of an afterthought. It didn’t feel as satisfying as the original story of searching for dodo king and hearing about the different letters that Alice sent to get all of them there. I will say, I really did appreciate each character’s personal journey and growth. However, as I said, it just didn’t feel as connected. The conch shells were a lot less interesting this time. The story with the Fatui was, in all honesty, super boring. It really did feel like an afterthought. Perhaps if they threw in some more information about the upcoming harbingers that will be appearing in Sumeru. As far as I know, Il Dottore will be there, so it would be interesting to learn more about him. Especially since he isn’t going to be playable considering he doesn’t have a vision and has no want for one. A lot of people find him incredibly fascinating and I’m sure they would love to know more. Also, it would be super interesting to hear more about him considering that up until the harbinger design release, he was the only one who had a design that wasn’t in the game yet, even if the design changed.”

I know that I went on a bit of a tangent, but I’m still glad I brought it up. I know that with the previous Golden Apple Archipelago event, we got some interesting teasers of Inazuma. It wasn’t too much, but it was enough to get us extra excited for the updates to come. I know that that wasn’t the intention this time, but it still DID have a Sumeru teaser at the end. I assume it was our newest archon reaching out to us (I also assume that’s who intercepted our call to Venti) given the higher voice paired with her leaked design (Nahida) as well as the Dendro symbol that showed up after she finished speaking. However, like I said before, everything really felt disjointed from one another and Nahida’s cameo really felt like it was just thrown in there at the end.

If anything, I really do mean what I said regarding the release of all the Harbinger designs. Their teaser also featured Collei having a dream/vision of Sumeru on fire with Il Dottore laughing maniacally. I think with the Fatui influence in this current event, they could have talked more about the potential harbingers in Sumeru or even get more info about Il Dottore. Maybe that would’ve been out of nowhere, but I feel like it would help tie together the Sumeru cameos and references. It would also help build up the excitement for the next big update.

Also, I’m well aware of the complaints about the leaked designs, and I completely agree for the most part. There are only two I wanna talk about.

I wanna talk about Collei really quick. I haven’t seen anything about her design yet, which is perfectly fine with me, because I actually really like Collei. She was one of the few characters featured in the webtoon who havent shown up in the game yet, the other big one being Il Dottore.

Here’s how she appeared there for those who haven’t seen:

She eventually left Mondstadt with Cyno looking like this.

They stuck close to her original design, which I really appreciate. She still has the dark power Cyno sealed away still inside her, and I have a feeling it will come to play in the upcoming story quest. I also wanted to point out the way Collei wears her vision. It is basically identical to how Amber wears hers. It makes me excited to see that her influence on Collei still exists! Especially considering she is also an archer! Based on that trailer, it also seems as though her and Tighnari run regular patrols, similar to what Amber does as outrider. I can’t wait to see if she has any voice lines about Amber!

Okay, ignore my excitement over Collei and on to what I wanted to talk about!

I wanted to talk about Nahida’s design.

It’s not a design people are happy about. I understand why, don’t worry. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not too fond of the design either, but I’m going to try to explain WHY I think Hoyoverse designed her the way they did. In the Archon cameo at the end of the event, she says, “Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. I’m just a little bird that sometimes flies by these islands, and am now watching you from far, far away.”

Now I did a tiny bit of research and discovered a bird called the Oriental White Eye.

As you can see it’s a small, white and green bird that just so happens to be native to India. If you compare it to Nahida’s design, you’ll notice the white and the green. It’s obviously not perfect, but it’s possible that they got inspiration from a bird like this one for Nahida’s design. Not to mention, the one time she’s really shown in the trailer, she’s sat on a branch. Perched just like a bird.

I’m not trying to excuse any of the Sumeru designs, but I just thought I’d give my thoughts on them.

Hmmm…Diona or Diluc for Blorbo Bingo (wanted to go for a curveball and not just ask GDV)

I lost too many 50/50s to diluc I have 2 accounts on genshin that are over AR 45 and diluc is C3 on both of them and on my NA account I have lost ALL OF THEM to diluc (part of why I abandoned that account)

MF WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU WHEN I WAS STARTING GENSHIN AND WAS PULLING ON STANDARD FOR YOU (only got 2 5* weapons)

I only got diluc after Klee on my main so I didn't wanna play another pyro main DPS but also I've always liked playing klee more, she's my child sorry I've already signed the adoption papers 2 years ago (explosions go off behind me)

Diona- I have zhongli on one abyss half and kokomi on the other sorry-

But I really liked her (babysi-) hang out event I feel like mihoyo actually handled her well there since while her dad is an alcoholic with a serious problem he's not really a bad person beyond that and genuinely loves his daughter and Dionas own internal conflict over both loving her job as a bartender and hating alcohol. I hope they lean into that and Diluc grape juice more in future events (I mean genshin has shown that they're willing to put any characters together in events and this duo would make sense, Diluc is even mentioned by a mondstadter in sumeru as the weird guy who doesn't like alcohol lol)
