just wanted to say your razlo/meryl art is soooo good!! like even the idea of the pairing drives me a little nuts i love them so much lol and then your art of them is just *mwah* chef's kiss love the dynamic love their interactions love everything all around!

Since Razlo comes off as the type who loves getting a rise out of people and since Meryl is so easy to piss off a good chunk of his time is spent getting under her skin- but make no mistake that Meryl will take any and every opportunity to get one over on him- mutual goal of annoying the hell out of each other, but if there's a third person they both dislike they get real catty real quick pfffffft

But also the dynamic of two people who care a great deal for each other but neither will ever admit it hhhhh

> Bengino sits quietly at his desk, taking brief glances at the monitor while he fiddles with something on his desk. Whilst he was trying to reassemble whatever was it was, he hears footsteps which are getting louder and louder.

> Instinctively, he goes to check the cameras to find the source of the footsteps but before he can, the Captain burst through the door loudly saying “hey Bengino!”, accidentally scaring Bengino in the process. Almost immediately, Bengino turns around ready to attack whatever scared him.

> He realises that it’s the Captain fairly quickly, putting his teeth away as he yelled “Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas chez vous Captain, ne me faites pas peur comme ça (What the hell is wrong with you Captain, don't scare me like that)”

> The Captain starts to try and translate when Bengino is saying himself before Merlo moves as close as they can to the Captain’s face and says, “he’s mad about you scaring him”.

> The Captain almost looks guilty as he stand in between the door and says sorry. Bengino looks at him and says, “that’s good so what’s new?”. The Captain walks through the door closer to Bengino and putting his hand on the chair so Merlo could climb down. He looks at the monitors before replying “We need to take a look at the armoury’s cameras, all of our weapons are missing”.

> Bengino looks at him before typing something as he says, “why can’t you ask ARG-05 to view the footage?” The Captain looks nervous as he says, “well that’s because someone override ARG-05 files with an older model, who’s the new AI in control but for lack of a better word, they aren’t that useful, and I don’t think they have access to the footage but hey say hello to ARG-03”.

> The captain continues, muttering “Wait a minute” before slowly turning around to face the screen, confused. The captain’s eyes widen slightly as he looks at the camera, realising that ARG-03 had regained its sentience. He quickly stands on the control panel, avoiding accidentally pressing any buttons as he continues to look at the camera.

> The captain stares at the camera for an uncomfortably long time, looking for any sign of life. He realises quickly that the camera is on and looking directly at him, making him back up slightly as he exclaims “Merlo it’s alive, I didn’t think this was possible I thought I probably deactivated him but here he is, online and fully functional”.

> Merlo tilts their head slightly as they ask the captain “I’m sorry I don’t follow, who is alive? ARG-05?”

> The Captain gets off the control panel and shakes his head as he says “No I’m talking about ARG-03, the old backup of him, I don’t even know how it’s possible but I would only assume that it’s not the original but it might be I’m not sure but… Oh that reminds me I can submit that travel to Earth thing, it can probably decide what to do and how to get there as fast as possible now”

> Merlo continues to tilt their head, completely confused but they decide to not say a word as the captain quickly types something onto a keyboard. The captain stops typing as he presses the enter button and says, “There that should be done, it’s weird that I couldn’t do it the usual way, I had to find a loophole to submit it but oh well it should get the option in 3… 2… 1”.
