sorry guys im like fully insane abt a gendo ikari knockoff touichirou suzuki predecessor and like in a way that i was never obsessed with touichirou. like okay i was there for touichirou bc i thought he was kind of funny to like but i always had this insecurity abt not understanding him and not really taking him seriously (sorry im fake toyichirou fans when real suzuki fans walk into the room).

but amarao.. i care him.. as a character and how he interacts with haruko and naota and kitsurubami.. i've met people who are like him and hell.. i've gone thru stuff like him and i understand why he acts that way.. im reading a bit too much into funny haha nonsequitur anime but wow u can see exactly how much haruko messed him up. and that makes me sad.. he just like me fr..!

"As kind as summer", I love this description of him. He really is, and together with all his other aspects Elrond makes for such an admirable character, who still has his strong opinions and edges. So it really is an interesting and fitting choice for Richard in my mind 🧝🏼‍♂️

I know the Thomas Anderson to Neo thing is about trans people and deadnaming but I'd imagine that Agent Smith would theoratically WANT to be transphobic to mock you but since he's programmed to be polite and correct, he never misgenders or intentionally deadnames you, especially not when your new name and pronouns are legally official

(Since in universe canon, Neo isn't actually trans, his "deadname" is just his Matrix-slave-name - at least the audience doesn't learn about it being trans)
