He let out an irritated huff, frustration apparent in the cold mist of his breath as it left him. Denial had his eyes glaring away from Natsu, lower lip sticking out slightly.

And yet…okay, maybe he had been looking at the mcl. Just glancing really.

His own device took his attention then. A purple Nebula2 model ( his…third? was it? ). A crack in the corner of the screen had already spread, webbing outwards across the upper section and reminding him of fractured ice. He’d accidentally dropped the damn thing ( on its very second day of being in his possession, no less ) and it’d had the indecency to break. To its credit, he supposed, it did still ( mostly ) work and hadn’t had too many issues.

Typically, he was someone who took good care of his own belongings. His sculpting tools and other art supplies were always well looked after, as were his favourite books. His mcl, however…well, it seemed to be particularly accident prone ( and sometimes became the unwilling victim of his frustration at times too ). It was strange.

Natsu surely had a different type of mcl. That was the only explanation for how it still seemed to be in such good condition.

What Lysander needed in MCL wasn't a cottagecore little farm where the sun always shines and people come around to see the animals. What his alternate life game needed was him living in a gothic, dark farmhouse without animals because he only plants for himself and to sell to some people, but not often because he lives too far away from any society. In his lonely, desperate, dark house Candy finds herself not enjoying her stay because Lysander seems unhappy there, almost like he's been missing sleep, and Candy slowly realizes the entire farm seems to be haunted by Lysander's parents, or maybe by his own demons.

Since Dark Elves has a bad reputation, I imagine Nathaniel hiding his true nature, disguising as a “normal” elf with magic, and at certain point “something” happens where his true form is revealed, at first giving conflict, but after the acceptance of the guard (or de mc), he’ll become comfortable being in his own skin showing his real personality (just like in MCL)

Race: Faelinne (Church grim)

Church grim is a guardian spirit in English and Scandinavian folklore that oversees the welfare of a particular Christian church, and protects the churchyard from those who would profane and commit sacrilege against it. It often appears as a black dog but So, taking inspiration from Ruth (from Mahoutsukai no Yome) and would make Lysander capable of taking the form of a dog. Since is a Faelienne, Lysander and Leigh were born in the human world, and when they reached the age, Lysander decided to "go back" to Eldarya, while Leigh chose to stay in the human world.

First, I need confirmation, but all the feng people are phoenix? I understood that only the one that has the title would be the phoenix; but then, the rest of the people are like humans? Anyways, I imagine these two not being phoenixes, but able to partially take the forms of birds (like harpies).

Companion: Lapy (since this companion is inspired by a magpie and this bird has a reputation as a thief, I think it would suit  because of the the twins naughty nature)

Race: Of course, a merman (same type as Alajea and Coalaia)

Incubus are demons in male form that seeks to have sexual intercourse with sleeping women; I imagine Jade as an incubus who doesn't really like to have sex but actually seeks an emotional bond with someone. The Benandati were members of an agrarian Christian cult that fought against witches and any satanic forces between s.XVI and s.XVII, but the legends says that they were actually benevolent werewolves, and were associated as "Lord's Hounds", characterized by their honor, chivalrous and modesty. Imagine Castiel having Lysander as hunting pet/companion lmao

Mythological bird from Pondo, Zulu, and Xhosa folklore that can summon lightning and storms and can masquerade as a human, but usually it's a huge black and white bird of prey, and it’s widely feared as a witch's familiar. It will sound really otaku but hear me out: What if his fighting style when he’s in his human form, is just like Minato’s :D

5.) James "Jem" Carstairs- The Infernal Devices Series

My actual HUSBAND. I love, love, LOVE Jem to death- he's the literal sweetest, most patient angel a person could ever ask for. His big shining moments are of course in the Clockworks, but throughout the entirety of the Shadowhunter Chronicles he's just such a sweetie? I'm rereading the series in prep for the Lost Hours trilogy and I've been reminded of how much I love him.

4.) Therion- Octopath Traveler

Listen- I adore him? I love Octopath Traveler, and I'm loving Octopath Traveler 2 recently. I can't say for certain who's my comfort character yet for the new game, but the OG? This man. Sarcastic, speedy, kinda dumb but in the best way? He's a bit of a Hawks-like character only more cynical. I could yell about him for hours, that's how much I love him. And he's a Theif! :D

3.) Langa Hasegawa- Sk8 The Infinity

Snow baby- my literal angel. I love him so freaking much it hurts! Langa is a doll and deserves the entire world plus some. He was an instant fave for me when I started watching Sk8- something I hadn't expected! (I was for sure it was gonna be Cherry who took my heart and soul! Like- he did. But Langa got there first). Just look at that SMILE!!!

2.) Misturi Kanroji- Demon Slayer

This wouldn't be a comfort list without Misturi! My babygirl- the sweetest angel of the Hashira who deserves only happiness and love. Sometimes I pretend to be her when I have to do something brave because she's such a strong and optimistic character aljerjajkrekrakj But yes- my girl!

1.) Chigiri Hyoma- Blue Lock

Is anyone surprised? Love at first sight- this one. I relate to Chigiri's backstory so hard? I tore my MCL back in middle school, so not the same ligament but definitely a relatable recovery story. Between that, his entire character, and the fact I am WEAK for fictional redheads; my newest comfort character has arrived! (Also just realized Chigi shares at least one attribute with everyone previously mentioned. This was destined to happen kjdarkjekjreajkr)

Day 165

I have no idea what I was trying to do here.

Description:

As some of you might already know, his name is Ren Làmour. He's 100 and something, maybe 102 (in mcl universe he's like 29 or so), 182 cm or 5'11 and he's albino and a demon. He is the leader of the royal council and advisor to the king. He's a reserved guy, very strong, and doesn't smile too much. He likes to read and listen to music and WORK, of course (he's practically a workaholic). He's a great and open father and a loving husband. He's also very horny.

Ren's story it's a bit sad (because I made it when I was like 16 or so and didn't want to change it). His parents were killed sometime after he was born and, because of that, he was sent to a local orphanage. At that time, the conditions weren't so good so you can imagine what happened there. He was always very reserved so he didn't have many friends except a lovely lady from there named Anne. She was usually taking care of him and celebrated his birthday every year. One day, she died in a mysterious way and Ren was left all alone again. Luckily he got adopted by an elder man, Alexander, who turned out to be his grandfather that was looking for him all this time. He was very suspicious at the beginning but started believing as time passed by. He went to middle school where he meet this kid, bitc- ah, Yuki. He got super attached to Ren and acted like his little brother. Ren found out that his home situation was pretty bad and he managed somehow to get him out of there and welcomed him into his house.

When Ren was 16, he realized he was pretty attracted to Yuki and wondered if he thinks the same way, and guess what... he did. So they started dating in secret. At this time, Ren was training with his grandfather, and this old man was pretty strict and was pushing Ren a lot. Being a demon, he needed to learn how to control his powers and also to master them. The old man didn't like Yuki that much to the point when it looked like they really despise each other.

One day things got pretty sensual and the lovebirds decide to go all the way when they got caught. For that, Ren was sent to a military school that was in another city. There he meets Shin, a jackass who liked bullying him and also had a crush on him. There was also some intercourse and that kind of mixed Ren's brain and made him very confused.

On the Easter holiday, Ren went home just to find out that Yuki left. He didn't leave anything behind. Ren got sad and questioned his grandfather, but nothing from him. All of a sudden the old man's breath cut of all of the sudden and fell down on the floor struggling to breathe. Unfortunately, Ren couldn't do much and Alexander died in pain. Ren started crying a lot while feeling guilty. He organized the funeral by himself and went back to the high school dorms immediately. There, Shin "consoled" him and combined with all the bad things Ren went thru, made him give himself to Shin and they started dating. They graduated and moved together.

Some time passed and they got along well but one morning Ren found a note from Shin saying that he had just gone aboard with his dad for work WITHOUT TELLING HIM AHEAD, just like that. Ren got so angry and depressed and decided to visit his grandfather's grave. He didn't stay long. Back home, he got a message from someone who worked for the Royal Palace that heard about him and was willing to offer him a job as a personal trainer and tutor. This person who needed these services was a very important part of the royal family. He accepted immediately and went to see this person. there he meets Alice, s 17 years old (Ren being 18 at the time) who lived with her older step-sister. They got along pretty well and he kind of got a crush on her, but she had a boyfriend already. Alice invited Ren to have dinner with the queen so he thought of buying something for her. He went to some shops until he found a plushie store. There he meets Yuki. He got extremely happy and asked a lot of questions. Yuki simply said that he didn't want to live there anyone if Ren wasn't there. That satisfied Ren enough and they started dating again. The dinner with the queen went ok and Alice proposed that he be part of the royal council since he's so smart and strong.

Things with Yuki went ok until, one day, Ren found something he wasn't supposed to. He finds his grandfather's journal at Yuki's house. He checks it and found out that Yuki it's not who he thinks he is and doesn't like either Alexander or Ren and also wants them dead. He (more like she) pretended to be this kid all this time just to get them. Reading this, Ren felt heartbroken and confronted Yuki who revealed herself, Ren bitch-slap him and Yuki ran away without a fight. She seemed a bit hurt. Ren went home and started crying and didn't leave the bed. Alice noticed the lack of his presence and went to visit him where she found him in a really depressing state. She tried to man him up and take care of him until he felt better. They spent some time together and got very close to each other, making both of them wonder what the other felt.

Some time passed and Ren got better but... Shin came back. Ren didn't want to speak to him but still told him they were over. Shin tried to convince him otherwise but it didn't work so he kicked him out of the house. Alice told him that her step-sister (Anastasia) is looking for a roommate and he moved with her. He didn't really like her but he accepted anyway. They got fighting pretty quick so he couldn't resist and moved out. During this time, Alice broke up with her boyfriend and Ren was quite happy deep inside. They got close again and it seem like there was something there. So they started dating. Also, during this time, the queen died, Alice found out she had some siblings and meet them and Ren became part of the council... and the new king (Alice didn't want to be queen) took over. Alice and Ren decided to get married and they started living in the Royal Palace since they are both working there now. They also have 2 children (Alexander and Cordelia), for the moment (bc Alice is pregnant again).

Recently, Ren found out that his dad is the Devil but doesn't recognize him as his son. He felt a bit angry since his mom had a pretty bad experience making him and she hated both Ren and the Devil. And that's it for now.
