“Sooo,” the sound of Phoenix’s voice catches you off guard, and you jump as you straighten up from the bend you had been in, in your attempt to reach towards the back of Penny’s fridge to grab four bottles of beer, spinning around to face her.
“I didn’t even hear you come in.” You say, and she smiles, almost too sweetly as she helps you shut the fridge grabbing two of the beer bottles you had wedged between the fingers of one hand from you.
“You and Hangman,” she says pointedly, staring intently at you.
“What about it?” You question, trying to be as casual as possible, while you pull open one of Penny’s drawers, searching for a bottle opener.
“Is something going on,” she leans against the counter of the kitchen, forcing you to look directly at her. Truth to be told, you and Jake had hid it pretty well. Perhaps not to Penny, Mav, or any other third party who saw you both together, but to the clueless bunch of Naval Aviators who, despite being the few to spend the most time with you both, had not made much of it.
The physical tells were something they hadn’t made much of to begin with, a sure result of having seen Jake flirt his way through too many women and situations over the years. However, the near fight at The Hard Deck where they had seen him at his most protective ever, pure, white hot rage radiating off him - only for you to dispel it so easily, coupled with the subtle, but sure shifts in Jake’s demeanour, had started to arouse suspicion.
“I’ve never seen him like this before,” she continues.
In all the years since she had known Jake, Phoenix had never seen him this way - more at ease, more open, happier. It wasn’t to say that his personality with the rest of them had changed drastically, Jake Seresin, was still very much Hangman, boisterous, confident, cocky (particularly in the air), always ready for a challenge, to show and tell that he was better than you, and to say whatever the hell he wanted, but he was also different, somehow happier, with the undercurrent of an unobvious calm and peace to him that they could just feel. It was unnerving to say the least, because it wasn’t something they had seen before, were used to, or had ever known Jake to be.
Bob had noticed it first, the Monday after the week Jake had cancelled fried chicken Friday, after days of sharp but silent observation. It had resulted in Bob telling Phoenix, who then told Rooster, who had went on to relay the message collectively to Coyote, Payback and Fanboy. A group decision was made one afternoon by way of a show of open hands or fists, resulting in Phoenix being the chosen messenger to broad the subject with you.
The difference in Jake had managed to be both outwardly noticeable, and yet not, all at the same time. On the surface, Jake was still Jake, swagger in his step when he walked around TOPGUIN, extolling his own virtues, taking little joking digs at all of them when he could, particularly when they were in the air - “C’mon Rooster, thought the chicken finally learnt to fly.” / “Trace, what does the baby on board in your backseat see?” / “Try to keep up Trace.” / “Aaand, the Relic is off the ground, that ladies and gentleman is called a Pete Mitchell” / “Payback? You mean the thing you can’t dish?” - but come dinner, when they had trooped back home and to you, Jake was somehow different.
The comments were still there - “Sorry boys and girls, I know it must be tough trying to match up to me.” / “Like how Trace and her baby on board fumbled today.” / “Thought Bradshaw was trying to hatch some eggs with the amount of time he was nesting.” / “Garcia and Fitch are always just taking it.” - but at the same time, Jake’s smile was wider, genuinely hitting his eyes and making his greens sparkle; his laugh louder, natural with nothing held back; his body language more open, any tension that he held during the day seemingly having melted away.
More importantly, as they had all come to notice, Jake never left you behind - whether it was purposefully falling behind everyone to bring up the rear just so he could fall in step with you; watching you out of the peripherals of his eyes the moment you left his side at The Hard Deck, right up to the moment you returned just to make sure that you weren’t waylaid by unwanted attention; or even the simplest act of making sure your order never got lost among the barrage of orders of the group; or that you were never cut out, lost or disengaged in the conversation when it dragged on to more Navy-orientated topics which you weren’t as familiar with.
Sure, Pheonix and Bob had caught sight of you and Jake running around the compound one Saturday afternoon, with him sprinting ahead in the last stretch in absolute glee, you yelling at him while trying to catch up, leaving you, quite literally, behind and in his dust - but even then, they had seen with his own eyes, Jake Seresin standing at the finish point, eyes fixed solely on you, waiting for you to meet him, as you yelled and protested your way to the end.
You pull the bottle opener out from the drawer, popping open the caps of the bottles in her hands, and then in yours, before dropping it back, and pushing the drawer shut with a hip. You beckon to Phoenix to exit back out into Penny’s backyard with you to rejoin the group and she follows, her question still hanging in between you both.
You step back out into Penny’s backyard, the cool evening air hitting your skin, your eyes meeting briefly with Jake’s as he looks up in the middle of his conversation with Rooster.
“You’ve only seen Hangman before,” you finally say, you both still out of earshot from the group, before you take a few steps towards the table, “now you get to see Jake.”
She opens her mouth to push her question again, determined to draw out a clear answer or confession from you, only for Jake’s voice to cut in above the chatter, making Rooster turn his neck to glance at the both of you as you return.
“Trace, you got that dog with a bone look on your face,” he starts, “do I have to take you out for harassing my girl?” Jake’s voice is loud enough that it carries across the table, pausing the chatter among the group for a second.
You feel your face heat as you hand a beer bottle off to Bob who receives it with a “thanks”, as he exchanges a look with Fanboy who is seated across the rectangle shaped table, before you settle back into the chair flanked by Jake, and Coyote who is waggling an eyebrow at Payback.
You see a smug, triumphant grin on Phoenix’s face, her question finally answered, as she hands one of the bottles to Rooster before sliding back into her seat beside him.
“Finally,” Penny breaks the moment of silence, throwing up her hands at the confirmation of what she knew, but had been waiting for, for the longest time, Amelia grinning wildly beside her.
“Hear, hear.” Mav raises his beer, to which Bob also does, and the group follows, cheers erupting from Penny’s backyard.
The attention makes you groan, and you hide your face in your hands, turning your body into Jake’s. You had talked about it after the other night at The Hard Deck, and had decided that it was time for the rest to know, directly from you both. You can hear the rumble of his own laughter in his chest, Jake clearly unfazed and not the slightest bit embarrassed at the attention, as he snakes an arm around your shoulders, securing you against him. It only makes the cheers louder, with Coyote sending a loud wolf whistle your way.
-
“Uncle Jake!” The roar of a little voice greets you both as you step through the doors and into the lobby of the hotel. You see a small blonde head sprinting at top speed towards you both, barrelling itself into Jake’s arms which had opened just in time to catch him.
“All this excitement just for me?” Jake exclaims back as he swings his nephew, Kyle, around in the air, before squeezing him tightly against his chest, only for the little boy to squirm in delight.
You see Emma, Jake’s older sister approach, her husband, Liam, and toddler Layla, approach.
“Full attire, really, Jake?” She scoffs taking in Jake’s uniform, but clearly teasing, as she takes reaches out to hug you hello, before coming to a stand in front of her brother.
“Not all of us are on vacation,” Jake shoots back as he sets Kyle down on his feet, before the siblings embrace each other, “some of us still have to work.”
“You only wear it for the looks you get,” Emma retorts with a snort, but being well aware that he had just come from work, as Jake and Liam thump each other on the back in a hug, before Liam reaches out to hug you hello as well.
“Well you gotta agree, I look good.” Jake smirks, not missing a beat, while bending to pick Layla off the ground, hoisting her in an arm and tickling her belly, the toddler shrieking with glee. “Can’t deprive the world of all this now, can we?” He coos the question at Layla who only giggles, patting her uncle’s cheek with her hand.
“I don’t know how you put up with him,” she looks at you as you ruffle Kyle’s hair in a hello, the boy beaming up at you, before slipping his hand into yours, tugging you around in a circle in his excitement.
“None of us do,” the familiar voice of grandma Doris interjects as she and Grace Seresin née Walton, walk into view.
“She’s too sweet to be putting up with your brother,” Grace chimes in, with a glance to her son, who just shrugs, a lazy, self-assured smirk plastered to his face.
Emma tugs Kyle out of your hands, for grandma Doris and Grace to greet you with hugs of their own, before they move onto Jake, who embraces them each with an arm, Layla still nestled happily in his other, her head resting between the crook of his neck, thumb now in her mouth.
“Thank you,” Emma grabs your hands in an exaggerated fashion, clutching them dramatically as she throws a look to Jake, “for putting up with my brother’s clown ass.”
The words coming out from Emma, a grown woman, with perfectly coiffed hair, and designer clothes and shoes that cut a stylish figure, makes you burst out in laughter.
“Just doing my bit of charity for the world.” You manage to say, before grandma Doris links an arm with yours, pulling you towards the door of the lobby, a signal for the rest to follow.
“I’ll cut him out of my will and put you in,” she tells you in a loud stage whisper. You don’t turn back, but if you did, you would have seen Jake grinning broadly, a fond look in his eyes, his niece still cuddled up against him, as he takes in the sight of you and his grandmother walking arm in arm.
-
“You know,” you turn to face Emma at the sound of her voice, clearly directed at you, “he cares about you.”
You both are seated at the end of a table, in the corner of the hotel lobby’, watching as the other members of your party are crowded around the massive cake display case to a side, Layla in her Grace’s arms, and Kyle in Jake’s, Liam and grandma Doris flanking them, as the children attempt to decide which sweet treat to pick.
“I know,” you say, small smile on your lips, as you focus on Jake, before looking back at her.
You and Jake had been mindful of yourselves around the Seresins, not because it would have been an issue, but because you had insisted on not wanting to overshadow their time together with Jake. He had tried to convince you that there wouldn’t have been any overshadowing involved, but you had, with a little help of your hands and mouth, had managed to capture his undivided attention, and be extremely persuasive, to which Jake relented. You weren’t sure if Emma knew, or suspected at the very least. You had always known her to be astute.
“He would probably kill me if I told you this,” she begins, as she leans back in her seat, folding her hands in her lap, “but slightly over three years ago, when you had told him about Dan, that guy you were seeing, he was noticeably…” she pauses, searching for the right words to use, “worked up.”
“I didn’t know,” you start, as you find your gaze wandering back to Jake who is now squatting beside Kyle, both blondes peering into the bottom layer of the display case. “He never said.”
“We were both home during that period,” she recalls, “and staying with grandma, and I found him in the gym abusing a punching bag. His knuckles were raw, eyes like a man crazed.”
She pauses, as you look back to her before continuing.
“I had Kyle with me, he was still just a toddler at that point, and it took him crying for Jake to stop. He told me, quite angrily I might add, that Dan wasn’t good enough for you”, she says as she unfolds her hands from her lap to reach out to squeeze your forearm, “and you deserved so much more.”
She meets your gaze, squeezing your forearm gently again, before adding after a moment of consideration, “I think he meant himself.”
Her words make your jaw slacken, your lips part slightly, as you remember Jake’s words in the car from the other day when he had only said “less so” since you had started seeing Dan.
“My brother can be a dick to a lot of people,” she starts again, a rueful shake of her head, “but not to you, never to you. He’ll never hurt you.” Emma says as she offers you a final smile, as you hear the voices of the group returning to the table.
“We got chocolate and a red velvet,” Jake says, as he slides back into the chair beside you, Kyle clamouring from his lap into yours. He finds you looking at him curiously, a strange expression on his face and he tilts his head to a side, asking silently if you are ok, before darting his gaze to Emma who immediately turns her attention to Liam.
You nod, with a slight tilt of your ahead, signalling that you are fine before you turn your attention back to Kyle who is describing to you, in vivid detail the chocolate cake that he chose.
-
“Are you sure you don’t want to come with?” Jake asks you for the tenth time since you had both left the house, “you’re already in the car.”
“I don’t,” you shake your head as you watch him glance out the side mirror, checking for cars, before he makes the turn. “You should spend some time alone with them before they go back.”
It had been a Seresin filled week, with you spending almost all of your time with grandma Doris, Grace, Emma, Liam, Kyle and Layla during the days, with Jake joining the group only in the evening once he had managed to get out of work. He had however, managed to spend an entire full day with the group yesterday, a Saturday, which largely comprise of him and Liam, chasing Kyle and Layla around the beach, while you, Emma, Doris and Grace watched on, chatting idly.
Emma and her family had left earlier in the morning, but his mother and grandmother who had booked themselves into a later flight, scheduled only for the late afternoon, had asked Jake to meet them for breakfast.
Jake opens his mouth to say something as he glances at you, and you shake your head again, pre-empting his response, your tone firm.
“No Jake, they deserve your undivided attention.” You knew you were always welcome with the Seresins, but you had wanted to give grandmother Doris, Grace and Jake the time they deserved together. You hadn’t made mention of it to Jake, but had gathered from their previous trip to see you in New York (sans Jake), that they missed Jake more than they cared to let on. It wasn’t easy having a grandson and son far from you; what more one that was a Naval Aviator who could be deployed for 6 months, to an undisclosed location at the drop of a hat. You had missed Jake yourself, worried about him during his stints of deployment over the years, even if were both already separated by state, so it was easy for you to empathise.
The seriousness to your voice makes him shut his mouth, choosing instead to reach across the center console and place a hand on your thigh, fingers squeezing lightly in understanding.
“Do you want me to wait for you?” You ask, and Jake shakes his head no.
He had sent his truck off to the workshop, only to have it grounded for a couple of days. You had tried to strong arm him into taking your car, seeing that he was due back to TOPGUN for an afternoon of flights, despite having been able to wrangle a few hours off to spend with his mother and grandmother before they left, but Jake Seresin, if anything, was a stubborn man, who had refused, not wanting to leave you inconvenienced. You had both reached a comprise, being that he would drop himself off to meet the Seresins, and grandma Doris would get her car to drop Jake back at TOPGUN before she left. It wasn’t the smartest solution, but it was the most he would budge on it.
He pulls up kerbside, in front of the hotel his grandmother and mother were staying in and shifts the car into park. You both exit, and Jake waits for you beside the door of the driver’s side, holding the door open, while you step in and up into the seat and buckle yourself in.
“See you later?” He asks, a rhetoric question, but you nod anyway and he kisses you swiftly on the corner of your lips before shutting the door on you and jogging over to the kerb. You duck your head to peer out of the window on the passenger’s side and he winks at you. You press a kiss to your fingers, blowing it at him, and it earns you a wide smile, the sides of his eyes crinkling. You let yourself take it in, Jake smiling, with his hair combed back, uniform hugging him in the right places, before you lift a hand in a wave and drive off, thinking to yourself, god was he handsome.
-
“You’re eating too little.” Grandma Doris asks, eyeing the bowl of yogurt, and granola in front of her grandson.
“Don’t want to be throwing up mid flight.” He explains before popping the spoon into his mouth. “I’ll have more for dinner.”
She hums in acknowledgement, settling back into her chair, while taking a sip from her tea cup, eyes studying her grandson.
“So,” she starts casually, almost too casually for her, and it makes Jake drop his spoon as he leans back to take her in, “were you planning on keeping your poor grandmother in the dark forever?”
Jake knows what she is referring to, but opts for raising brow, waiting for her to elaborate.
“That you both finally became more than just friends.” Grandma Doris stretches out the word finally, and Jake raises his glass to his lips, but his smile is barely covered.
“What gave it away?” He asks, after taking a gulp of water and setting his glass down.
“You did be blind not to know,” Grace scoffs, taking a sip of coffee. You both had hid it well, but a mother always knew her son.
The relationship you and Jake had, was something that had always been special - he was more himself around you, more the Jake that Grace had knew, loved and known from the first day she had held him in her arms, and you, well, you somehow managed to tolerate him, during the good and the bad, accepting him for both his good and bad; but this time, this was different.
Grace had always seen a glimpse of something more in her son’s eyes when he looked to you, only when he knew that you weren’t watching, but this time - she had seen it in his eyes, when he had looked directly at you, and had seen you meet his gaze with the exact same look, of equal intensity in your eyes. She had seen the quiet, content, smile that flickered briefly across both your features, and she just knew.
Her suspicions had been confirmed the night before when Grace’s own mother had nudged her and motioned out the window of the hotel lobby, both of them watching, just in time to catch you run a finger over the the sunburn blooming along the bridge of Jake’s nose, laughing about something they couldn’t hear, to which Jake only reached out to pull you towards him, your face colliding with his chest, body shaking with laughter as he planted his lips on the top of your hair, while saying something that caused your shoulders to shake even more.
“Weeks,” he says vaguely, not bothering to count the detailed specifics, not because Jake didn’t care, but because he didn’t need to with you - not when he was sure you were his forever. He had expressed outrightly that you were his girl - because even when you hadn’t been, you had somehow, always been his in one way or another - and Jake hadn’t asked you explicitly, the question of “will you be my girlfriend?”, but it hadn’t mattered to either of you; the question seemingly unimportant and trivial, when you both already just knew.
Grandma Doris observes grandson from her perch across the table, the light in his eyes that she had always saw when he looked at you had finally come to the front, and it was dazzling. She places down her teacup, fingers of her right hand working to slide the ring she had the fourth finger of her right hand off. It was the simplest of the rings which adorned her fingers, a plain band, holding a single jewel, with the words “timeless” scratched onto the inside of the band, the engraving now dulled from years of wear, but still visible. She places it on the table in front of Jake, who looks down at it, and up again at his grandmother in surprise. He had never seen her take it off since he could remember.
“Give it to her,” she says simply, the implication behind her words clear - marry her. To anyone else, it might have been strange, but grandma Doris understood, it was Jake and you - she had watched quietly, as you both danced around each other for years. “There isn’t any reason to wait when you’ve already known something your whole life.” She say simply.
Jake picks up the ring, flipping it in his fingers, running the pad of his thumb over the engraving on the inner band, before reaching into the shirt of his uniform, tugging out the chain with his dog tags, before undoing it and stringing the ring on.
-
“Well, this is me,” Jake bends down and kisses Grace’s cheek while engulfing her in a hug.
“Come back home soon,” Grace orders and Jake raises a hand to his head to giver her a mini salute.
“Yes M’am.”
“Everyone misses you,” his grandmother says as Jake bends in turn to hug her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
“Your grandfather and father miss you.” His mother says, and Jake meets her gaze in understanding with a small tip of his chin.
Jake stands back, with a last wave, watching as his mother and grandmother enter the car, before the driver shuts the door.
-
Tash: Your man is an idiot.
You swipe open the message from Phoenix to come face to face with a picture of Jake and Rooster’s side view, each man decked out in their flight suit, sunglasses on their face, middle fingers flipped up at each other. It makes you roll your eyes as you shoot back a text.
Is Bradley an idiot as well?
She replies almost instantly.
Tash: The biggest.
You grin, shooting back a reply.
Lies. By the way, do you know what time you’ll be done? My idiot needs a pick up.
Tash: Come now, I’ll get Mav to abuse his “power” and sign you in.
-
“I’m not betting those 200 push ups today,” Fanboy’s voice crackles over the comms as the three planes, him and Payback, Mav and Jake push through the air. It was the last scheduled flight of the day, not entirely necessary because there weren’t any trainees scheduled into the slot, but it hadn’t stopped the four men from jumping into the plans to run the same training simulation of the day. Mav’s time old favourite, dogfighting - two against one.
It earns a laugh from Mav, and Jake snorts.
“C’mon boys, wussing out?” Jake drawls over his comms as he levels his jet with Fanboy and Payback, grinning out the window towards the two. It earns him double middle fingers from the duo.
“I’m not letting you hang us out to dry, Hangman.” Payback says disgruntled. It was undeniable that Jake had proven himself to be a team player from the uranium mission, but it didn’t change the fact that Hangman, being Hangman, still enjoyed blazing his own trail, particularly during simulations such as this where a run was just a run, and nothing was at stake. He would have them eating his dust whenever he could.
“How about a beer instead boys?” Mav asks, grinning lazily out of the window of his jet.
“I could live with that,” Payback jumps and latches onto the lower stakes, before clarifying the safety of his own wallet, “just among us four.”
“Game on,” Jake hooks his mask to his face.
-
True to her word, and you are not entirely sure how, Phoenix gets you signed into TOPGUN, meeting you at the guard house, and jumping into your car, directing you onward. She ends up leading you towards the control room, which she informs you, is filled with themselves and the trainee group today due to the afternoon long simulation flights they had been running. She scans her pass against the electronic lock and holds open the door for you while gesturing you in. You slip into the control room ducking your way past a few trainees, to come to a stand beside Hondo, who is flanked on his other side by Rooster and Bob.
“What did I miss?” Pheonix asks, and Hondo points towards the screen.
“They just bet Mav a round of beers if they beat him.”
“Do we all benefit?” Phoenix asks, hopefully.
“Payback made it very clear that it’s just between them.” Hondo grins, and it earns a dismissive snort from Phoenix
You can’t see the Naval Aviators up in the air, apart from the diagrams of little jets beeping on the radar alongside a counter, and a whole host of numbers you don’t understand; but you can hear them over the speakers in the control room, the sounds of breathing, and chatter.
“Where is he?” Payback asks.
“I can’t see him,” Fanboy.
“Probably hiding beneath us,” you hear Jake, “old man never changes his tactics.” He says, a jab at Mav, and the tone of his voice, makes you shake your head slightly; even you knew, to someone who didn’t know any better or who wasn’t used to him, Jake could very well rub people he didn’t know well the wrong way with his words.
You hear a set of three yells and curses, as Mav’s diagram reappears on radar, a set of numbers alongside the screen rapidly jumping as Mav angles his jet to shoot up between the other two.
“And yet, this old man’s tactics work every time.”
It earns a fist pump from Hondo, and you lean over towards the older man.
“Does he truly do that every time?”
“Works like a charm,” Hondo says, leaning back over to you simultaneously, headset still nestled in his ear, with a nod of his head.
“And they don’t learn?” You ask in slight disbelief at the fact that some of the best Naval Aviators in the country would fall for the same trick more than once.
“Kids,” Hondo laughs with a shrug and a waggle of his brows, and it makes you laugh out loud as you think back to a scene where you had been sitting with the lot, after dinner, watching them argue over which superhero, as portrayed in the movies, would come out on top, because you couldn’t agree more.
-
Jake hears it, clear as day, as he rights his jet, holding back on the acceleration into the planned tactic he was going to go into, even though it was just a soft crackle over the background his comms. He thought he had been dreaming that he had heard your voice, until the point he heard your laugh - he would recognise that laugh anywhere - your laugh.
“Babe?” He says into his comms, and it has Payback and Fanboy looking at each other within the confines of their plane, Mav looking out of the window from above, down towards Jake’s jet, the men all holding in the air, surprised at the sudden call from Jake. All heads in the control room swivel towards you.
Hondo slips the headset off his ear and passes it to you, nodding for you to take it, and you do, slipping it onto your own ear, taking a step forward, closer to the screen even though you can’t see him.
“Jake?” You say, your eyes focused on the mini green outline of his jet on the screen, his call sign flickering beside it.
“Yeah babe?” Jake says again, louder, more sure this time, his face breaking into a wide grin beneath his mask. In that moment, Jake feels like he is at the top of the world, despite having just been spun around in the air by the force of Mav’s jet - he is seated in a jet high above the ground, doing something he had willingly devoted his life to, with your voice in his ear at real-time, knowing that you were watching him.
“Give him hell.” You say, and you hear a roaring laugh of response through the headset in your ear, loud, open, unadulterated, genuine, every note of it being entirely Jake. It is familiar to you, but the heads moving back and forth in the room, eyes coated in surprise, tells you that it isn’t for everyone.
“For you darlin? Anything.”
It earns a whoop from Coyote who is standing to the right of the control room. Jake, who is up in the air grips his center stick, wide grin still on his face. He can feel the ring, dangling from the chain beside his dog tags, a cool circle pressed against his chest. He takes a deep breath.
“Alright boys, hope you’re ready, because Hangman’s coming.”
-
“Tone!” It is a span of mere minutes, where you hear a mix of shouts, grunts and yells coming from the four men in the air, before you hear a loud prolonged beeping sound, and Jake’s voice crackle over the comms, shouting out the single word with a whoop. It earns wide eyes from around the room, and approving nod from Hondo who is behind you, a “yes” from Coyote and a clap from Bob.
“Fucking Hangman,” is what you hear Rooster murmur from behind, clearly impressed.
“Well I’ll be damned.” Tash mumbles as she walks up to you, before clapping her hand on your shoulder. She knew Jake was good, heck - everyone knew, despite having only been selected as Dagger Spare for the uranium mission, he was the only one among them (not counting Mav) who had a count of two confirmed air combat kills, but to get tone on Mav, something none of them had yet to be able to achieve - now that, was impressive.
“Can we get her in the room everytime he flies?” You hear Cyclone mumble to Warlock from his position in the centre of the room, arms still crossed over his chest, eyes fixed on the green on screen.
It makes you smile.
-
You make your way down along with the rest of the group, the only civilian amongst the group of Naval Aviators, hanging to a side with Coyote, Bob, Rooster and Phoenix as the jets grind to a slow stop and into a park. You can hear the chatter of the trainees, standing around as you watch while the top of Jake’s jet pops open, before he hoists himself out of the seat, stepping onto the wing to hop down onto the ground.
Jake yanks his helmet off his head, and you see him, grinning widely, from ear to ear, his hair sticking up, a sheen of sweat across his forehead, in his element, euphoria unmatched. It’s infectious and you feel your face break out into a matching grin, as Jake begins striding directly to you, helmet in his hand. He moves like a man with a mission, focused entirely on you, and the smattering of trainees move to a side as he approaches, it being clear that he has no intention to stop for anyone in his way.
You see him unzip the top of his flight suit, and reach beneath the black shirt he has on underneath, fingers pulling his dog tags out before he tugs them over his head.
“Jake?” He is three steps away from you, and the group behind you has involuntarily taken a step back, not sure of where this is going, allowing you both your space, and then, it happens.
Jake drops his helmet to the ground, the object rolling an inch away before it settles on his side. You are forced to look down as Jake drops a knee to the ground. He leans his elbow on his other knee, which is bended, propped up by a boot that is pressed flat to the ground, and raises his hand towards you, fingers holding out a ring, still hanging from the chain of his dog tags, with a single jewel as the centrepiece towards you. You recognised the ring at once, having seen it as a permanent fixture on grandma Doris’ finger.
“Jake what are yo-” You start to say, but he cuts you off, answering your question at the same time.
“Marry me.” He says, a statement, not quite an ask as his eyes search yours, a smile, genuine, excited, earnest on his face. “Marry me, because I don’t want to have to spend another day not being able to call you mine.”
It’s a big ask, after only weeks, you both jumping the step where he had even asked you (officially) to be his girlfriend, but this was Jake, the man you knew better than anyone else; the man who you understood, and who understood you, without having to even use words; the man who you would do anything for, and who would do anything for you; the man you had spent the past few weeks finally getting it right with; the man you would say yes to in a heartbeat.
You search his face, his eyes now fixed on you, watching as you take it in, take him in. Jake has never been so goddamn sure of anything in his life. He had been sure the moment his grandmother had slipped the ring onto the table; sure from the moment he had kissed you at Annie’s wedding; sure from the moment he had asked you to come out to San Diego for 6 months; perhaps even sure from way before; but hearing your voice over comms, just your voice, pulling together his focus, grounding him, both literally and figuratively propelling him to greater heights, made him realise that he had already taken too goddamn long to do this, and that he would be a fool to wait even a second longer.
“I’m already yours.” You breathe out, pushing out the breath of air you hadn’t even been aware you were holding. It is enough for him, and Jake reaches forward to tug your hand towards him before he slips the ring on. It fits your finger like a glove, his dog tags still dangling from the other end of the chain still attached to the ring, like a part of him to you. He stands, holding your hand in his, pulling you close so that your body is flush against his. Jake smells of jet fuel, sweat and soap. He reaches up with his other hand, to cup your jaw in his palm, a thumb running over your cheekbone.
“Jake?” You say, softly, as he leans in an inch.
“Yeah.” It makes him stop, face slightly apart from yours, but so close that you can feel the tip of his nose brushing against yours, and the warmth of his breath on your skin.
“I love you.” You say out loud for the first time, and you see the wide smile break across his face as he presses his lips to yours. You love him, you’ve loved him, just as he love and has loved you.
“I know baby.” Is what Jake says first against your lips, in true Jake Seresin fashion and you can still feel his smile, as he finally says, “I love you too.”
You hear the thunderous sound of cheers in the background, the loudest coming from the group of Naval Aviators you had come to know and love. A plane flies past, roaring overhead in the sky, and you kiss Jake back, one of your hands still gripping his, the other on the back of his head, feeling the damp roots of sweat in his hair, pulling him into you. You feel like your heart is soaring, your flyboy in your arms.

The Crash: Bradley Bradshaw Part 2
part one
Warnings: Angst, some Fluff, lots of cursing and strong language. Disappointed father vibes. inaccurate geography bc i don’t think we ever find out where the uranium mission takes place.
enemies to lovers: Rooster x f!Mitchell!reader
Tumblr media
Standing there in front of you was your Uncle Goose, alive and well.
Yup, you were dead.
“What is going on?” You squeaked out. You were too shocked and still in pain to muster up a big voice.
“Yeah I suppose I have a lot of explaining to do, huh?” He set the cup next to you and sat down by your bed. He helped you sit up and then proceeded to get comfortable.
“We thought you died? Maverick and Rooster have been mourning for years!!”
“I know, I’ve been trying so hard to find them again. I’ll tell you everything, but first tell me how you got out here?”
You proceeded to tell him every detail, about how your father and Goose’s son left you for dead, the whole nine yards.
“You were with Bradley?” His pain and excitement were evident in his voice. He wanted to see his son again, but knowing he was right there pained him. Just out of reach. “As much as I wanna hug my son after all these years, I’m gonna rock his shit for leaving you to die.”
“It’s your turn ole’ man. How did you get out here?” He cracked a smile before leaning back and taking a deep breath.
When him and Mav ejected, Goose survived, but landed nowhere near Mav and the raft so he swam as far as he could. Eventually, he became fatigued and an enemy aircraft carrier picked him, holding him hostage. He managed to escape once reaching their territory and he’s camped out here ever since. He sneaked into their camp once in awhile to grab supplies, which explains the oxygen tank, the medical supplies and the food. “I’ve been trying to find my way out of here, but I have no idea how. They have guards everywhere. I once thought about taking a plane, but the only aircraft they have that I know how to fly is an F-14 and you need two people to safely operate it.”
“Why don’t we take it? The strip should still be bombed from the mission. How long has it been?”
His answer stunned you, causing all of the air to escape suddenly from your lungs. “Sweetheart, you’ve been out for 2 months. I patched you up and been letting you wake yourself up. You were in a coma, really thought I was going to lose you.”
2 months? How we’re you out for that long? You had images it’d been 24 hours, not even. “I’ve gotta get home.”
Goose looked at you with sadness in his eyes. He knew the worry you were feeling, and he knew it would never pass.
Your mind was racing. Did your dad think you were dead? Did he put out a missing persons report? What about Jake? Had he moved on or was he still waiting for you? Rooster had to be just loving life without you around. You’re sure what he did was on purpose.
“Kid, come back to me okay? I know what you’re feeling, and I don’t want you to go there.” Goose put a hand on your leg, bringing you back. “Don’t go anywhere I can’t follow you. It’s my job to protect you now. I need to get you back to your dad. I’m sure Bradley’s missing you too.” Your face fell. How had he not caught on yet that you and Rooster didn’t like each other?
“Goose?” He nodded and looked at you. “Bradley and I hate each other. He’s been at my throat for as long as I could remember. All we do is fight. I guarantee you he left me behind on purpose. He didn’t even yell at me to eject. It’s like he wanted me to go down with the plane.”
Goose’s face was ridden with guilt. You could tell he was struggling with what you just said. Somewhere caught between yelling at you for talking about his son that way and hugging you and telling you he’s going to fix it. “I’m sorry, I had thought you’d grow up together. I’m poorly mistaken.”
“Carol tried Goose, Bradley just wouldn’t have it. One of those days I started returning his behavior.” His face dropped at the name of his wife. He opened his mouth but you beat him to it. “She’s alive. She lives in Northern California. About 3 hours away from Top Gun.” He smiled and his eyes glazed over with memories of her.
“Why don’t I get you cleaned up and a clean set of clothes and we figure out how to get home, huh kid?” You nodded and he got to work.
——
Month 3
Throwing on the flight suit, you had to admit it didn’t fit the best, but it was the closest thing you were going to get. You rolled up the pants and sleeves and called it good enough. You had realized today, is Month 3 of you not being home, not being in Jake’s arms. You had a lot of work to do, and luckily Goose was one step ahead of you.
“Ive got their rotation schedule here. We can try to sneak out tonight and get to the F-14 and try to get outta here and to the nearest land we can find. We gotta get to a city so we can find an airport and fly to the US. Do you know where your dad is?”
“Last time I checked he was in San Diego at Top Gun still. Bradley should be there too since they were making Dagger Squad a permanent installation.”
He looked at you puzzled. “Dagger Squad?”
“Those of us who got called back for the mission.” He made a face of understanding before you both fully sat down to discuss your plan and course of flight.
You knew you were on a boat in the middle of the Indian ocean, and we’re headed for some remote island. You both had figured to fly to Madagascar, and then catch a charter flight from there to the nearest African airport. There, you’ll catch a flight to London, and then from London to Boston and Boston to San Diego. You knew it would be hard, and neither of you really had a lot of money, but you’d make it work.
That night, things came into fruition. Sneaking through the woods, you and Goose came upon a oversight where you could watch the changing of the guard. You quickly jumped at the opportunity and grabbed an F-14. Luckily, you knew all about these from your father, so you climbed in the front, letting Goose revisit his olden days. “You ready Goose?”
“Close the hatch!!” you pulled out and got in the air, but not without two bandits on your tail.
“Shit, what’re we gonna do?”
“What would you normally do if you were flying solo?”
You thought a minute, knowing exactly what you would do everytime Hangman and Mav teamed up on you in training. In an old F-14 though? You weren’t sure how it would work.
“You gotta do some of that pilot shit kid. They’re lining up for a shot.”
“Breathe Y/N. You got it.” You focused to yourself for a moment before speaking up. “Goose? Hang on.”
You heard a holler from behind you as you quickly pulled up, causing both planes to fly right by you. You quickly shot one down from above, the other quickly maneuvering behind you again. “Goose tell me when you see smoke in the air okay?”
He grunted in response. A couple of seconds go by and he signals. You hit the brakes, letting him and the missile come face to face with a mountain. “Not bad kid. Just like your dad.” He patted your shoulder before you got a good cruising altitude and speed, or as much as you could cruise in a fighter jet from the 80’s.
——
Month 4.
You and Goose had made it to Madagascar and were currently working on getting the funds for a charter trip to the Egypt airport. You were doing odd jobs for the pilot and you even upgraded some of his plane parts. You had been there for about a month now and the pilot had been letting you stay with him for the time being. He was very understanding of your situation, but he knew his plane could barely run, so you and Goose tried your best to make it fly.
——
Months 5 and 6
You had reached Egypt. You and Goose were once again trying to earn the funds to book 2 tickets to London. You had gotten a job giving tours through the pyramids and Goose got a job at the airport as landing crew. You knew neither of them paid much, hence the extended stay. You didn’t mind Egypt and the airlines graciously put you both up in a hotel for the time being, since you were active duty and he was a veteran. Everyone was so nice in Egypt and you didn’t mind staying as long as you guys had.
Eventually, between you and Goose’s paychecks, you were able to quit your jobs and get on a flight to London.
——
Month 7
London was the easiest to get money. You and Goose had some leftover from Egypt so you went to a currency transfer. The tickets were still quite a lot more than you both had been anticipating but you both made do. London was much more populated than Egypt and Madagascar. You had found an old guitar in the lost and found station and decided that you and Goose would do this the old fashioned way. You had found some cardboard and wrote “two vets trying to get home to our families, anything helps”.
Apparently London has a soft spot for vets. Lots of foreigners came up to listen and attempted to make conversation with the little English they knew. Lots of Americans stopped to say hello and leave a tip or two.
After 3 weeks or so, you and Goose were almost to the point you needed to be.
——
Months 8 and 9
You and Goose had finally reached Boston, where you once again exchanged currency. Tickets to San Diego were $214 each and combined you had about $150. “Kid, I think we need to upgrade our wardrobe. These dirty flight suits might be giving us a bad rep.”
“Goose, we don’t have enough. We need to get tickets!”
“We can get jobs again okay? This is America, we’re one stop away. I’m in dire need of civilian clothes though.” You sighed in defeat. He was right. You both needed a good shower and new clothes. You both decided to get walking and asked for directions to the nearest Walmart.
Once there, you split the money evenly and tried to spend as little as possible. You ended up grabbing some jeans, a hoodie, sneakers, socks and hair supplies. Goose ended up with a plaid button up and khakis, paired with signature New Balance dad shoes.
You both checked out, with $50 left to your names, and got changed in the Walmart bathrooms. You felt a million times better with your hair out of your face again and in clean clothes. As you exited the bathroom, Goose was waiting for you. “Looking good kiddo! You ready? I thought we could apply here so I grabbed applications if you wanna fill those out with me?”
You both ended up working at that same walmart, and the boss was more than understanding of your situation. You’d both sleep on park benches outside the store, but it was more than enough knowing you’d been in worse, knowing you were so close.
Eventually, you had both made enough to get some luggage, more items to live with and tickets to San Diego.
——
Months 10-12
You and Goose had found a place to set up shop for awhile until you were both ready to face everyone. Knowing you were both dead people walking was a terrifying thing to live with.
After a month you had went to base to state what had happened, and fight off an A-Wall claim. When you were sorted out, you took Goose to the VA to reclaim his veteran status. You both had to get all new cards and ID’s as well which took its own amount of time.
It wasn’t until the day Goose told you that it’s time that it had all become real. It was Fourth of July, and you were both on your way to your fathers house. Since being back, you had caught wind from your Commander that your dad had gotten married. You were pissed that your dad could move on that quickly, just start a new life after leaving his ont daughter for dead.
Goose drove you both, knowing how enraged you were. You had been ranting the whole time getting ready and on the way there.
You both had decided that you’d go in alone, and then he’d come in after you’d gotten all your anger out.
Walking in, of course the first face you come in contact with is Bradley. He drops a bunch of ceramic plates, causing them to shatter all over the floor. Penny and Jake come in quickly, and your heart swells at Jake’s expression. He’s crying, but too scared to move, as if you’d disappear if he did. “Baby? Is that you?” He voice was small, but cut off as Penny shouted.
“What the fuck is going on?! Is this some sort of sick prank??” Your father entered last, hearing the commotion. He froze at the sight of you.
“Hi Dad.” You said, practically seething. “I have a wedding gift for you.”
“What? Honey? What’s going on?” He walked towards you and you stepped away, shoving him off of you.
“Don’t fucking touch me.”
“Y/N? Hey, it’s me. It’s your dad.” He looked hurt, and you knew your actions would hurt him but after what he did, he deserved it.
“Y/N, don’t be an asshole.” Bradley spoke up next as your dad retreated to Penny.
“Don’t speak to me. Either of you. You both fucking left me for dead!!” You we’re crying now and that’s when Jake came up to you and began to hug you but you shrugged him off. “You too Seresin.” You saw the hurt in his eyes. He hasn’t seen you in a year and the first thing you do is tell him to step off?
“Y/N, please calm down and tell us what happened.” Jake out his hands up and stood off to your side. “Please, we just want to understand. We thought you were dead, we held a funeral, buried an empty casket.” His voice was calm, trying to disguise your situation.
Before you could speak, feeling the ease come from him, your dad began to choke on air and Bradley about passed out. You felt a hand on your shoulder and Goose was behind you. “Kid, take it easy on them. This is hard for all parties involved okay?” You took a deep breath as he turned to the rest of the room. “Hey Mav, Hey Bradley. I can explain everything.”

Flufftober 2022
I promised myself no angst for a couple of days, like not at all, so let's try this lol
These are just prompts, i can't promise i'm going to write a single story past this point, considering that it was supposed to be for october and not november but who knows.🤷🏻‍♀️
1. Wearing Each Other’s Clothes: It's starts with a shirt with a dumb print on and it doesn't really ends anywhere. (Goose/Slider, sharing clothes during the years);
2. "You’ve told your parents?": To my granma 'lie, but yeah. I told her. (Halo/Phoenix, Nat's granma and her sweet tea are the reason Callie doesn't want to come back);
3. Thick as Thieves: Penny knows them all and Sarah loves to gossip. (Penny Benjiamin & Sarah Kazansky, forties are the new twenty and all the shit none of them believes in);
4. Supporting Silly Quirks/Hobbies: Mickey likes to collect the smallest action figures of his favourite characters. 'Ben likes spending the day walking around. It's a win win. (Fanboy/Payback, 'Ben has to remember Mickey to put sunscreen on at least four times during the day, it always gets a kiss after);
5. "Oh no, you’re a Morning Person!": Neil is a morning person, Bob is really not. (Bob&Omaha, how to work around a new queer platonic relationship and make your partner stay in bed after six);
6. Candles, Lanterns, Fairy Lights: Amelia loves fairy lights, and Charlie knows the perfect place and what to buy her for her birthday (Charlie & Amelia; charliepenny implied);
7. Movie Marathon: Ice likes sci-fi, Slider never saw one. The cinema, three streets from the Academy, offers the perfect opportunity to remedy that. Mother Goose offers caramel popcorn and witty comments. (Iceman & Slider & Goose, academy era)
8. Shooting Stars: Carole takes Bradley to see the stars when neither of them can sleep (Carole & Bradley)
9. Game Day (Sports): they can't decide which one is the best time, in normal times, but when the Navy is playing? all hands on deck and fuck the Army ('86 class and their barbecue)
10. Love Language: Learning ASL is probably more complicated than all the math he does when he's flying. But the way his husband smiles at him when he sings back good morning makes all the work feel like a walk in the park (Icema/Maverick; post-cancer arc);
11. Poetry, Art, Music, Craft: Fritz likes to paint, and a small gallery decided to expose some of them, the daggers put their best clothes to go and see it. (Fritz & the daggers; they are the bestest of friends; found family);
12. "You kept this?": Mav puts his scarf around Ice's neck during a deployment in the middle of ocean because Tom forgot his. Twenty years later, Mav finds the scarf again, in on of his husband's drawers. (Iceman/Maverick).
13. Secret Family Recipe: Ice teaches him how to make his famous pie which becomes Bradley's comfort food. (Iceman & Rooster; father-son relationship);
14. Truth or Dare/20 Questions:
15. Accidents don't just happen accidentally: Warlock is always sitting in the seat to Bernie's right. Doesn't matter how full or empty the class is (Warlock/Hondo; au- university);
16. "I hate you" – "I love you too": Cyclone would like to not be part of it, but apparently he had to assist to the strangest love declaration of the world (Hangman/Rooster; poor Cy);
17. Animal Shelter: the story of how Hollywood and Wolfman ended up adopting a turtle. (Hollywood/Wolfman, retold by Sunny because it's funnier this way);
18. Soulmate AU: They don't need to look down to know they found each other (Iceman/Maverick; enemies to lovers);
19. Hot Chocolate: Carole likes to treat herself with a cup of hot chocolate sometimes. She likes even more to share it with Goose and Slider. (Carole/Goose/Slider; domesticity; good days to celebrate);
20. Bedtime Stories: Chipper as the wildest bedtime stories for Bradley and Goose doesn't know where he takes them (Chipper & baby Bradley; Goose);
21. Kiss for Good Luck: 2011 and Mav is going to fly away in less than thirty seconds. Tom takes the first step and says "i'm going to kiss you for good luck", Mav laughs and kisses him a second time. (Iceman/Maverick; first public kiss after the DADT was repealed);
22. "Have you heard?":
23. POV Outsider: Charlie is sorely confused by the scene in front of her. (Slider/Goose/Carole; they're dancing together, ain't that complicated lol);
24. All the Hugs: Javy is the one who gives the best hugs, but sometimes Javy needs to be hugged too. (Coyote & The Daggers; they're going to hug all javy's problems away);
25. First Dance: The song is cheesy and Nat's cheeks hurt for how much she's smiling (Phoenix/Halo; just married).
26. Blankets: Logan takes a particular blanket with him everywhere he goes and doesn't share it with anyone. Than Brigham, his posh name and his even posher callsign, comes around and Yale just pass it like it's nothing. (Yale/Harvard; cuddling);
27. Reunion: They meet in the middle of sky, Mav on his plane, Ice, Carole and Goose on a cloud. It feels like getting home (canon top gun: maverick; while going down mav sees them all and spends time with them; mav&goose&carole; mav&ice);
28. Picnic: Sunny invites Chip out for a picnic, and they end up sharing their lunch with a dog (Sunny/Chip; a cute doggo);
29. Leaves: Javy's mom has an impressive collection of leaves crown with Jack and Javy's name on. (Hangman & Coyote; childhood friendship; Javy's mom)
30. Dear Diary: , today I saw the most beautiful man on the face of the Earth with the worst moustache someone could have ever thought about. (Carole/Goose; first meeting)
31. A Sweet Treat: Halloween is his favourite holiday for two reasons: his uncles' crazy costumes and candies! (baby goose+ flyboy uncles)

i am free from work finally so i am here to bring you a wonderful plot call for all four of my children (aidynn, jaeyeol, maverick, and kyubok)! below the cut i left what activities they’ll all be getting up to and little blurbs and ideas. so, if you’re interested in plotting, feel free to like this and i will come visit you or send me something on disc*rd or ims (aidynn is best for this).
aidynn
boy is staying in a bungalow because he can’t be bothered with a roommate if he can’t choose who said roomie is, he’s not about it, so he’s in bungalow e
activities wise he’s going to the photography class because he’s an artsy dude so why not do photography woo, even though he has no interest in this he just draws. so free feel to bug him if your muse is doing that
we’re not talking about the second activity (horse boy aidynn is rising on accident)
will be getting day tipsy at brunch because why tf not, he’s a grown adult he does what he wants, come drink with him
if someone wants to he’ll take a trip down to the food truck festival too with you because he claims he’s still a growing boy who needs lots of food
will probs make an appearance at the pool party? possibly? depends? his hoe game isn’t at strong as it once was anymore
jaeyeol
aside from aidynn all of my other children are being social and staying in a villa. jaeyeol just wanted to swim whenever tbh so he’s in villa b, and already has a roomie
activity wise he’ll take part in the fan makeover. i’m sorry to that poor soul, he will do his best. he can do pretty eye looks and pick decent clothing but he’s chaotic and unpredictable i make no promises. come and question his choices or give him advice when doing things
secondly the model jaeyeol agenda returns and he’s gonna take part in the billboard pictorial as well, and while he’s insecure about his body, he knows he’s pretty so he’s okay with this
another one who will be day drinking but he has intentions to get day drunk so come sip mimosas and eat with him, he’ll be having a good time
definitely making a pool party appearance while looking hot
maverick
once again in the villas! they’re in villa e and don’t have a set roommate. they’re mostly emo that duri isn’t in the same one
mav will be participating in the softball tournament as part of team red! they played baseball all through high school and it was their favorite sport to play and they’re quite good at it, so expect good things from them. they’re here to help if someone asks for it! honestly they’re having a good time with this activity
second activity is the billboard pictorial once again. mav doesn’t like modeling in any way really for themself and so they’re more eh on this, maybe come entertain them a bit?
the food truck! mav is a Foodie and will be visiting this festival and eating their heart out
they love a good brunch so they’ll be having a good time at the welcome brunch truly
more than likely ditching the pool party to go hang out with duri ngl, so don’t expect to see them there
kyubok
and lastly! kyubok is in villa f on his own right now when this is posted so woo love that for him
once again kyubok is also playing in the softball tournament for the red team, but he has no clue what he’s doing someone please help this poor unfortunate soul, teaming him how to catch a ball or swing a bat, he needs all the help he can get
then kyubok is going to attend the candle making class a well. he just thought it sounded fun and peaceful. candles are nice. so maybe chat with him about his candle and your candle or life in general
one of the few who won’t be day drinking at brunch and mostly just wants the food because he’s hungry, so come hang out with him maybe
again, a food lover, and will be making a trip to the food truck festival so feel free to join him if you’d like!
he’s on the fence about the pool party but for the love of all that is holy someone drag this boy there and force him to live his life and have fun for once, he needs to live a little

Nikita.
Nikita was a realm built separately from our own. A different dimension that somehow interconnected to our own through what was known as ‘rifts’, portal-like creations. No one knows where it began, or how it really began; Except for the god of it. Who, legend had it- had been snatched from the above world for the purpose of being a battery for souls originally. The once young teen had broken free, thus ascending to godhood, as far as the stories go for the god known present as: NG.
Being a teen meant a rampant sense of imagination. The once near empty world being influenced into a more magical sense full of varied creatures and magics. The lands were vast and plush, full of foliage, great tall mountains, and having small towns here and there.  An  un-colonized world. From our world, we could describe this way of living almost as Medieval. Old fashioned trading systems, coin trades made of precious metals, and no modern-day technology.
From Our world, people could fall through these rifts that seemed to be scattered throughout and randomly placed. It didn’t matter where or who, no one in particular, no one ever the same, just that you could fall through.
To us, these people who fell through were regular humans. To Nikita? These were known as ‘Otherworlders’. Finding their way home seeming near impossible, with only a handful of people who could send them back from Nikita to back where they came. If you could find the ones who could send you back.
~Rest under the cut~
However, most Otherworlders decide to stay for their own personal reasons. Never the same, yet always a tinge in their tone that implied life back home wasn’t so...welcoming as here. So, perhaps there was some common place for these people.
Since staying in Nikita was such a common occurrence for Otherworlders, organizations were made specifically with volunteers of varying creatures to help these strangers settle down into Nikita with little to no confusion. Some ended up great friends, some ended up partners for life, and some just ended up parting ways without any semblance of bonding.
Nikita was a world built around magic. Creatures from humans, to demons, to elves, to dragons, to even creatures akin to dogs or cats walking on two legs, to much more all alike and different survived here amongst each other. The magic ran deep throughout the lands and the people alike, abundant and plentiful much like the foliage that ran around the country.
Not everyone could use magic, however. But certain species could wield it easier than others.
For those of human nature, controlling and wielding such magics could prove to be difficult. Even if they could use just a bit, they still would not reach the levels that those of the dragon and demonic kind could reach. Those of which could wield it with ease, as if it ran through their very veins.
The term and species of demons in Nikita are not the religious kind from what we know from our world, yet can be similar in appearance. They are very mortal, living a few centuries long and come in various subspecies. The term ‘demon’ is also granted to those who don’t fit into any other species available. Such as mixed breeds or creatures without names.
The most abundant species of demon you could find here being the succubi, incubi, and omnubi. Looking almost human if it weren’t for their horns, varied colored skin, tails, teeth, and peculiar appetites.
Other demons? Could appear more monstrous rather than humanoid.
The demon of the hour that shall be heard of is named Mavrick, or rather preferring to be called Mav. And our Otherworlder of the hour, Frankie, whose paths will cross and go from snapping at each other, to traveling together, to friends with benefits, and finally to the lovers they currently are.
Meeting Mavrick, you’d think maybe you’d get your head bitten off right away, or maybe you’d get annoyed enough at his cocky mouth to jab him in the gut. Standing 8’2”, he gives off the impression of an asshole right away. Preferring to strut his stuff with a cocky flair, insults and sarcasm dripping off his tongue with ease.
Despite giving off the air of an asshole, he wasn’t all too bad- just more upfront about his emotions. Thus, can result in him also making call outs for people in public with shitty attitudes or clearly trying to find trouble; But when they turn back around full of fight and find themselves craning upwards to look up at the massive beast? They tend to drop that ‘ready to fight’ behavior quickly.
Not only was Mav’s huge size a good way to keep people from talking more shit, but his appearance was that of the more monstrous breed. With black, medium sized horns atop his head quirked slightly backwards into points and thick enough to get your fingers around, his head was almost like an insect’s in its rounded diamond manner with a slight, short snout. Said snout also could split into a maw, with teeth constantly growing much like a rat’s and needed to be ground down for threat of being too sharp.
A pair of goat-like ears, and pure white eyes that were almost cat-like in respect with a glow to them, a small white diamond pattern on his fur between his eyes and a half moon on his forehead. His face wasn’t too fluffy riddled with slick fur, but his body had to be the fluffiest, sans on his abdomen where there was thinner fur from his nervous habit of scratching.
His body is built with messy fur, slim without much muscle at all and predominantly black fur on his body. White, slick fur started at his biceps, working down into huge monstrous hands that looked more like full fingered claws than anything. His long legs worked their ways into black hooves, his tail long and prehensile with a spear tip, and wings on his back of white and black with little white diamonds hanging from the curled upper tips.
His voice is low, almost its own growling tone in a way with a slight twang to his accent that he adopted from his partner, Frankie’s, manner of speech. He even tended to make noises that were more animalistic ranging from growls to purrs to squeaking. His mannerisms more animalistic in terms of cocking his head when an odd noise arose to bristling if something upset him. Yet, walking on all four legs tended to frighten people, so he kept to two.
Mav is from Nikita, born and raised. He’s been self-reliant near all his life, coming from just south of here where nonhumans like himself are chased out or enslaved. Learning to do things himself, from building buildings to preparing food, to learning how to protect himself since such a young age. Fear and distrust of humans had built into a survival tactic, until he’d met Frankie.
Frankie, in turn, was a human. An Otherworlder, in fact. They come across, at first, as quiet and cautious, but once you got to know them, they’d open up into a fun-loving goofball who cracked jokes. And would rather finger gun their way out of an argument rather than pick a fight.
From Our world, they’re used to doing everything themself. From their home life to past relationships, they had been raised to be a homegrown people pleaser. Frankie was kicked out of their home at 16 when they’d come out to their family, and then lived with a friend’s family until they were 18 where their boyfriend at the time aided in getting them an apartment together.
And that’s where their story got worse.
That, thankfully now ex, boyfriend had seen them as ‘woman lite’ and not nonbinary. And that they were someone, regardless of Frankie’s actual future plans, who would leave him hot dinner on the table, get pregnant, and take care of the children. They broke up a few years later from him at 21, and at 22 fell through a portal to Nikita.
Possibly a blessing in disguise, despite their  roughed-up  palms.
They’d met Mav quickly after, who didn’t quite trust humans so Frankie was someone to bristle around and puff himself up to seem bigger. It took some time as they traveled together and Frankie deciding to stay, growing used to this new way of life before they’d found their relationship going from traveling partners, to friends with benefits. And after that, came a slow romance budding on both ends until they became happy partners.
In terms of appearance, Frankie was vastly different from Mav.
Standing at 5’9”, they had a sweeter appearance. With dark auburn short hair in a messy little wavy undercut, their facial shape rounded and softer. Their eyes are hooded with thick lashes, a golden-brown shade of color to their iris. Their eyebrows are thick but well kept, their button nose dotted in freckles, and their lips softly shape and plump. Freckles dot all across their warm brown skin, including all over their face with more prominent areas being their nose, cheeks, and forehead.
Their body type is pretty average, with C cup breasts and a slight amount of chub on their tummy. Their long legs were strong, and their hips rounding out a bit. Their most prominent feature being their ass, possibly the definition of a bubble butt and most certainly joked about in their relationship. Body hair they kept; Sans underarms due to the scratchy feeling.
As far as their relationship? It had grown. From when they had been traveling companions, to finding company within each other sexually, to now romantically. Long since gone are the days where they traveled the country together- Mav had built a cabin he’d lived in for years and now shared with Frankie.
Said home was a homestead- more of a farm that was surrounded by lush tall mountains and vast lands. It was built to look like a beautiful, moderate sized log cabin with a front and back porch. It looked almost abandoned on the outside, like a regular old house until you walked inside.
Outside of it, however, they were very secluded, to the point it took two hours by foot to get to the nearest town. Due to this, they live their lives more rurally. With a farm full of livestock from chickens to cows, to plumbing so they could have running water, to a large garden that was lovingly taken care of.
Well. If you’d count Frankie pulverizing weeds and yelling things akin to, “You think you’re so tough, huh? Hurting my poor  lil ’ innocent tomatoes? Fuck off and die you green heathens!” a ‘lovingly taken care of garden’. Then yes.
Yes, it was.
When you walked inside, it felt like a home. The vibes given off are more of an elderly couple than it is for a human and a demon with a knack for creating and hoarding objects. Mav created most of the décor and furniture by hand, the table comfortably seating them both and made of local wood from the vast woods surrounding them. Bones made into wind chimes outside, wreaths handmade with flowers and vines collected from around their property and garden, chairs with extra padding from shearing the sheep to take their wool.
Mav also had a tendency to collect things from years of travel, but anything that wasn’t hung up inside was out in a large, old shed. Probably never to be touched again.
Whoops.
Their home wasn’t messy, kept tidy inside by both of them working together. The bed sheets were a mess in the morning, but nothing to really do about that. Unless, of course, it was winter; Where Mav would shed absolutely everywhere and the sheets needed to be washed due to it. Lots of dusting and lots of grooming going on with a brush and Frankie’s hands. Always followed by the comments of, “You shed so much we could make thirty sweaters out of it!”
Followed by Mav’s insistent purring at the grooming and absolutely tuning out the comment every time without another thought.
Together, they loved as if they were soulmates. Hard and loyally.
Buuuuut that didn’t stop them from teasing each other. From Frankie reminding him his ‘chew toys’ were in the corner when Mav was gnawing on his own hands as if THAT would stop his teeth’s insistent growing. To Mav putting things up high or using Frankie’s head as an arm rest.
But, on the other side, when Frankie is feeling upset or down, Mav is quick on his toes. Nuzzling their face, pressing his snout in little kisses to their face until they’re beaming and having to stim out their emotions by finding his thicker fur to stroke and lightly pull. Or when Mav is upset, distancing himself and trying to contain it in his body, Frankie is quick to get him settled into bed or on the couch. Clambering into his lap, grabbing his snout in both hands and acting like a sports announcer hyping him up with, “You’re cute! You’re good! You’re  gonna  be okay!” Until his face is embarrassed and his tail is thumping on the ground like a pleased dog’s.
However, though that normally resulted in successfully perking up Mav, he’d still move to roll them over and try to pretend smother them with a pillow. Or simply lying on top of them while they whined about how heavy and  warm  he was followed by, “You can’t hide from your feelings, Mav, you big softie!!! You have feelings too!!!”
Mav was also the cook in their relationship- Frankie is scared to cook, a fear from past bad experiences and life back on Our world being...hardened. However, they were learning to do certain tasks, taking great love in helping out in the kitchen.
Normally resulting in powder ending up on their clothing and looking to Mav with a big smile of pride at their own accomplishments and Mav’s heart damn near pounding out of his chest. Often having to look away and huff out a ‘Good job, sweetheart’ just so he wouldn’t be enamored with them further.
Which normally failed after he heard their stimming following immediately of the ‘pat pat  pat ’ of their hands on the counter and Mav would be weak in the knees with his love for them. His tail swishing in happiness was the  giveaway  always, gathering Frankie’s attention to switch their patting to winding their arms around him so they could stroke at his fur while he cooked the rest of dinner.
Typically, this led to something a little more ‘hot and heavy’ after dinner. Where the two would be filled with those specifics that had butterflies in both of their stomachs.
Both their sexual appetites were in sync in a lot of manners. They went well together in terms of sexual preferences, kinks, and libido. Sex was quite common between them, as they were friends with benefits way before they were even partners. Just, now, the intimacy between them was stronger. To the point back when they were just friends with benefits, Mav could be crueler during scenes and ride through it without fault, but now tended to have to pause a scene to check on Frankie and calm his own worries about hurting them too much. Even having to end a scene too early sometimes.
Mav was a sadist by heart, his ultimate goal being to make someone cry from ‘too much’ or 'too little’. Or even by roughing them up on purpose. He had the teeth and claws for it, he had the snarl for it, he had the hunting instinct for it, and most importantly: He had the sense for it. To make safe words and safe signals for any sort of scenario just to be safe. Especially for Frankie, who, well, was human and much...fleshier and softer than his teeth and claws.
Frankie, on the other hand, would much prefer to be belly up and whine for him. They were usually obedient for Mav, being a good toy for whatever he had planned for them that night. But, sometimes, bratty nature just...slipped out. Liking to tease, poke, prod, or add another element to a specific scene they were trying to play out. Unfortunately, pain wasn’t big on their list of wants, but some was alright and even wanted. Small nicks and bites here and there LOUDLY being welcomed.
This led to them talking about scenes as well. Mav was more open about discussing kinks and ideas, while Frankie tended to be flustered and turning red in the face when specific things were brought up. However, they could communicate very well with Frankie being honest about their ‘yes’ and no’s when it came to certain things.
Like now, they’re sitting at their little handmade table. The birch wood having their respective cups on top with Frankie tapping their fingers on the wood idly. Their eyes are looking to the side, their face red all the way to their ears as they nod quietly to Mav asking if they were up for something a little...rougher today.
Mav doesn’t dodge around the subject, going straight into it once he can smell their pheromones have picked up.  But,  it does make his speech have a slight growl to it instead as he speaks slowly for them to hear clearly what he’s asking of them. “I want to try a roleplay- you're very fond of being my prey, right?”
He pauses there, waiting for Frankie’s reply which is a quick nod of their head and one of their hands moving to cup their own warmed cheek in embarrassment. “Y-yeah.”
Mav’s maw near about salivates at the sight of them already squirming, but he coolly continues, “I want you to run. Run fast, run hard, as if I’m coming after you to eat you alive.” His tone is a low growl when he speaks, but his body language is still comforting for them. Moving so he can rest a large, clawed hand on the table where Frankie’s fingers have stopped tapping, their hand just resting there. Gently curling one claw around their hand that they quickly latch onto with a fleeting glance towards Mav’s predatory look.
“I can run.” Frankie says quietly, knowing Mav is waiting for their response. They swallow at the idea, rubbing their thighs together and knitting their brows as their cogs turn, wondering what he was leading up to.
“I want you to pretend you don’t know me,” Mav says slowly, watching Frankie perk up at that in curiosity, turning their gaze to him with less embarrassment and more interest. “That I’m some big scary monster and my sole goal of the night is to breed you and take you as my mate.”
“Oh.” Frankie breathes, red creeping onto their ears all the way down to their chest.
“Oh?”
“Good ’oh’! Good ‘oh’.” Frankie clarifies, squeezing his claw softly as their gaze settles onto the wall beside him instead.
There’s a moment of quiet as Mav moves his hand, letting his palm lie up on the table so Frankie can rest their softer, fleshy hand over top. They’re worrying their bottom lip with a gentle bite, clearly mulling it over, but oh- oh their scent-
Mav is practically drooling to get his tongue buried in their cunt. He almost changes his mind, almost asks them to wait right there and be good so he could just bury his head between their thighs and make Frankie his t--
“Do I get a head start?” Frankie cuts into his thoughts, glancing coyly under their lashes at him in a way that’s almost challenging. As if they COULD outrun him.
Mav’s maw near splits into a wide grin. “You will surely need it, slow poke.”
--
Frankie thinks, for once, they regret their choice of comfortable wear for the evening. They had asked Mav if they could change, but he’d just started counting down as if he hadn’t heard them despite the perk of his ears.
Asshole.
They’d been quick to bolt out of the house from the backdoor, zipping over the gates and hearing the curious bleating of their sheep and startled cooing of their chickens. They pay no mind as they hurdle over the tall fences, making their way into the thick brush of woods nearby.
This is the scent Mav follows, and Frankie knows he’s hot on their heels. At least they wore their sneakers today- but maybe jeans and a sweater weren’t the best of options for physically exerting activities. Like running.
God, they hated running.
They’re zipping through trees as best as they can, getting it out of their mind that Mav is chasing them. Scene- right, it’s a scene. They don’t know it’s Mav chasing them, but a. ..a  creature- a monster of some sort who...who was only there to breed them, to take them as a mate-
Frankie finds their breath quivering and legs pounding harder as they leap over a fallen log, trying to twist and turn and throw their scent of, but they know better. They know better than to even stop for a second to catch their breath.
They know they won’t outrun him.
For their own pride, however, they count themself lucky that they even make it to twenty minutes before they hear the quickened thumping of what sounds like four feet. Instincts kick in as Frankie squeaks when a shadow darts to their left, quickly running towards the right like frightened prey. They’d been so careful to avoid being out in the open, all clearings avoided, sticking to the trees, trying to make it more difficult.
They end up being pounced on by a fluffy, lengthy body. Frankie lets out a scream as they go toppling to the ground flat on their abdomen in a soft patch of dirt. The trees look massive as they extend towards the sky in their eye line, the area looking as if it had been stomped down a good twelve feet across towards the foliage and trees. Keeping the land flat and thankfully not muddy.
Before they could survey their surroundings more, Frankie is kicking into high gear. Squirming beneath the large body atop them, managing to get out for just a moment to try and scramble to their feet. Frankie hears a snarl before their ankle is snatched, toppling them once more as they’re dragged backwards with a cry.
They quickly find themself on their back, panting hard as their lungs and legs ache equally. They see a maw split open above them to reveal sharp teeth, freshly filed. Glowing eyes are narrowed and a low snarl bubbling above them.
“You’re wet.” Comes the snarling, low voice above them. Frankie whimpers out in embarrassment, moving their hands to maybe push at the fluffy chest above them, but their wrists are snatched in large claws. Holding them firmly above their head as pressure rests between their legs. “Oh? You like that, too, pet? Filthy little thing.”
Mav’s voice sounds...different. More possessive, a low growl above them that leaves Frankie’s heart pounding. Something Mav can most certainly hear. He gives them a moment, waiting for them to speak before proceeding when they look just as into it as he is. “I think you’ll hold my pups nicely; Don’t you think? You smell fertile, little one. Like a bitch in heat.”
That does it, a low whine exhaling from Frankie’s lungs. They squirm, pulling at their wrists with a small cry of, “N-no!” Despite the fact they most certainly lifted their hips up in the hope of finding his sheath to urge him on.
Maybe they weren’t so good at this ‘pretend to not want it’ thing.
Mav seems to like their response regardless, snarling low and deep in his chest as he brings his teeth to their throat. His maw is held open, as if threatening to bite down on their neck like a naughty kitten. Frankie’s breath is panicked as they feel his hot breath fanning over them, saliva on his teeth making the situation seem more realistic of ‘fuck or die’.
Immediately, Frankie holds still, trembling and feeling their heart racing. They felt like a rabbit in the jaws of a wolf. Their mind races equally, caught between sub space and playing into the scene, or feeling the mild need to make a joke about how ‘wet’ Mav’s mouth was.
Thankfully, the former seems to take over than their delight in bullying him, because a sharp whimper exhales from their nose.
When Mav pulls back to look at them, his eyes are a terrifying glow of want. They feel him rut between their legs briefly, able to glance down and see that fluffy little sheath hidden within his fur start to peek out. Only an inch of his cock is peeking right now, with a tapered head making its appearance with a ribbed texture starting just underneath in a beautiful black and white marbling.
They know in all its glory, he’s big. Nine inches in total, with thick ribbing nearly all the way down to his knot, and a wonderful thickness that always was nearing on ‘too much’. Which was quickly ‘too much’ once they got to his knot. With a thickness maybe the size of a baseball or bigger, it always took prep to get them to be able to take it. Most times, if they didn’t have the toys or patience, Frankie would end up just having the knot outside of them and Mav filthy snarling in their ear about how he wanted to breed them properly.
The idea always sent a thrill down their spine.
A yelp exits their lips when they’re suddenly being tugged up by the underside of their thighs, hoisting their hips into the air so Mav can grab their ass, leaving their upper back and head on the ground with their arms lying flat to keep themself up. They watch him bury his face between their thighs, his short snout nosing at the front of their jeans where a wet spot was making itself seen even in the light of the bright, full moon and the darkness of the world.
“Mmmm, a treat just for me, little thing? You like being my toy?”
“No! Let me go!”
Mav’s eyes flickering up to their face is almost uncertain at first. But seeing that Frankie isn’t using any signals or special words, he lets that momentary uncertainty fade into the feeling of possession. He snarls back at them, nosing harder at their cunt to get further acquainted with their scent, near drowning in it. “I don’t think you’re callin’ the shots here, sweetheart.”
Mav at least doesn’t tear their clothing apart, but he keeps them in that position as he unbuttons and unzips their pants. There’s a hurry to get their shoes off, yanking their pants and underwear with them and leaving them in just their sweater and socks. His clawed hands cup their ass, still keeping them afloat with himself on his knees near bent in half to reach them with his snout pressing to their cunt.
He nuzzles his way against their wet folds, feeling over the curly hair they had resting there and just how delicious they smelled. He groans against them, letting his long tongue loll out to swipe up them from hole to clit, letting his maw hang open so he could scent them better. It’s when he growls does Frankie’s hips twitch up, having been so good at holding their  self-control  up until then.
“Look at how wet your little cunt is, sweet thing.” He growls against them, running his tongue over their clit in a long, slow slick just to make their breath catch. “Mmh. What a pathetic, eager breeding bitch you are, dontcha’ think?”
He doesn’t give them a chance to answer, his claws pressing to their skin to hold them in place. His snout noses at them, curling his tongue deep into their cunt with his snout pressed to their clit, making sure to nuzzle and apply pressure with the curling of his tongue following the motions. Frankie can’t help the noises they make, looking so beautiful under him with their body folded in half, their sweater dropping to just below their chest and the softness of their abdomen rolled and squished.
Mav can only groan at the sight of them, of how their lips part and their head tilts to the side. They keep great in character with little whimpers of ‘no’ under their breath, fizzling out to moans when his curls his tongue upwards, sliding it out of them to get his tongue on their clit. Just to watch their hips try to buck upwards, trying to get more pressure like they wanted. By now his cock is slid entirely out of its sheath, hanging wet and heavy between his legs.
He’s a bit disappointed he didn’t think to bring a toy with him. Stretch them out in the middle of the woods just so he could knot them properly.
As soon as Mav hears their breath quickening, he pulls back. Delighting in how Frankie’s fist pounds on the ground with a cry out of dismay of, “Please!”
“Aw, already begging? What happened to ‘no’?” Mav teases back, holding them up with one hand under their ass, his other coming up so he could run a knuckle over their hole up to their clit in a back and forth fashion.
Fingering was a no-go situation due to how he could cut them, but he could tease them with these little touches. Delighting in how their breath catches and how Frankie’s hips try to buck upwards for more pressure. Eyebrows knitted and frustration written across their features.
With their red face, Frankie whimpers and turn their head again. Stubbornly choking out, “Please let me go-” With their voice betraying the wobble of how badly they wanted him. Poor thing.
“Oh? Let you go? No, no, no, I don’t think that’s what you want me to do, baby doll. Look at you, so pliant and open for me, so eager to cum on my tongue. What if someone heard you, hm? Came by and fucked that pretty little mouth to keep you quiet instead?” Mav teases them, leaning down to lap at their clit a few times, his knuckle resting just underneath to keep it pronounced and feeling the harsh contractions of their cunt.
Once again, he stops when he hears their crying getting louder. Pulling away with a string of saliva connecting him to their pretty little pussy, all reddened and flushed. A perfect little treat for him.
“Just admit you want me to breed you. I want to hear you say it nice and clear. Politely, if you would please. Then maybe you can cum.” Mav croons out, his tone a bit cocky, moving his hand from their pussy to give it a flat palmed smack. Not hard enough to hurt or even hard enough to make a sound, but enough to send a reverberation up their clit and startle them into yelping.
“I-I-..”
“You?”
“I...” Frankie starts, their breath shaking as they feel Mav lowering them back to the ground. They can’t find the fight in them, though they do consider what he would do if they were to get back up and try and run for it. They wouldn’t get far, and judging by his mood already, they’d probably end up edged with no hope of orgasm in sight.
They swallow thickly, feeling his intense stare and unable to look up at him. They roll their hips into nothing, aching for his tongue to be back on them. But after a few moments of his reassuring hands gently grabbing their thighs and stroking ever so subtly with his thumbs to comfort them, they manage to get it out with their face burning red, “Iwantyoutobreedme -- please?”
“Didn’t quite catch that, little one.” Mav teases, a grin stretching across his maw just to watch Frankie’s head thunk back into the dirt with a groan. He has a feeling they almost break the scene just to kick him, but they manage again to speak in their prettiest of tones.
“I want you t ...to breed me, please. Please cum inside me, please?”
Oh...Oh that was...a lot better than he thought that was going to sound.
A groan leaves Mav’s throat as he pulls them by their hips closer, pulling their legs up and around him so his cock could rest over their cunt. Showing and displaying his length and girth up their abdomen just to remind them of his size. “See? Was that so hard to say? And here you were acting like you didn’t want this. Knew you did, could smell it on you all the way from your little home. Poor thing, hope no one is missing you right now.”
He  ruts  against them a few times just so pre-cum will drool onto their exposed flesh from their lifted sweater. He’s almost tempted to fuck their cute little freckled face and make them choke, but instead he leans back on his knees, wrapping his large hand around his cock and idly stroking. “Finger yourself. Stretch yourself open for me, sweetheart- and don’t you fucking cum, you understand?”
Frankie is quick to nod desperately, pulling their fingers to their mouth to suckle on before reaching down to trace their engorged clit briefly. They quickly move two fingers inside of themself, awkwardly lifting their hips up and huffing when they catch him jerking himself off at the same time they move their fingers.
Something oddly sensual about the way he watches them, his breaths shadowed with a hint of a huffing growl with each stroke of his hand. His eyes glow brightly in the darkness around them, his tail swishing in that little way he did whenever he was watching them and lost in thought. Frankie can’t help but smile, accidentally breaking the scene when Mav can’t help but smile back.
They sink three fingers in and have a hard time smiling as their mouth forms a gasp, letting their head fall back and instantly feeling Mav covering their body with his own. His fur brushes against their arm as they finger their own cunt, their free hand coming up to lace at the fur at the back of his neck and dragging his mouth to the crook of their neck. He makes this little crooning sound, nosing his way there until his teeth scrape and make Frankie’s breath catch.
“We’ll try this scene another time.” Mav assures them in their ear so their anxiety doesn’t flare up, letting his tongue flick over their ear just to hear them squeak and jump.
“Don’t lick me when I’m trying to finger myself!” They choke out with a shaky laugh of pleasure, working a fourth finger in with a low whine to follow.
“At least I didn’t shove my tongue in your ear.”
“Mav I will make you cum on the dirt if you do.”
“Aw, come on!”
The whine he lets out makes Frankie laugh, the tension easing between them as their fingers slip from their body. They let out a gasp when they’re rolled onto all fours, quickly taking the hint and crossing their arms under their head as a makeshift pillow to brace for the impact. Instead, they feel his snout pressing at their exposed cunt again, twisting his tongue inside of them and curling it over itself to keep them stretched.
It doesn’t help when one of his hands moves so his knuckle can rub their clit. Making their thighs shake with an impending orgasm. “M-Mav-” They whimper out, curling their toes and feeling the wave start to hit-
And the little bastard stops again. Pulling his hand and mouth away and making Frankie cry out in frustration with tears pricking their eyes. They go to lift their head to maybe snap at him, but quickly find his clawed hand holding them down by the back of their neck. “Don’t move or you won’t cum the rest of the night, sweetheart. With the way you keep whinin’? Almost addicted to it by now.”
Thankfully, he spares them any reply when they feel the tapered, rounded head of his cock pressing to their stretched, wet hole. The pressure stretching their walls and making them groan into their cloth covered arms.
Mav’s hips are quick to slam into them, keeping one hand on the back of their neck, the other grabbing their hip to yank them back into each thrust. With all the teasing and the build up, Frankie’s already on the edge, and it sounds like Mav isn’t too far behind.
His body covers their back when he leans over them, his hand moving from their neck to the ground to curl his claws into the dirt. His other hand matching as he fucks hard into them. His grunts and growls by their ear overpowering the sound of their own cries. A sob wracks through Frankie’s chest, tilting their hips up and digging their sock-clad feet into the ground to get him to keep hitting that spot-
“I’m gonnacumI’mgonnacum-” Frankie sobs out, feeling the width of his knot slamming against the rim of their pussy again and again. They feel one of his arms go around their waist to lock them where they were trying so hard to stay, fucking into them until they’re burying their mouth against their arm with a cry.
“Cum, baby, go ahead, want to f-feel you cum.  Gonna  cum inside you, baby, that okay?” He’s gasping against their shoulder now. And that’s the final straw as Frankie mumbles ’yes  yes  yes’ under their breath as they cum. Their legs tremble, feeling wetness creeping down their legs and onto the dirt as tears prick their eyes from the intensity.
Mav isn’t too far behind, his speech starting to turn into mumbles. His hand against their abdomen and pressing as if he could feel himself inside of them, desperately mumbling into their skin, “ Gonna  breed you, sweetheart.  Gonna  fill your sweet pussy with my cum.  Gonna  keep fucking you till it  takes -”
Before he’s cumming with desperate pounds of his hips and low, huffing snarls from his throat. Trying so hard to fuck against them to get his knot in to no avail, much to whining on his part. Yet, he still does stay still inside them as if he did  knot  them, rolling his hips and pressing his snout to their neck affectionately.
It’s after five minutes does Frankie speak, their voice hoarse and whiny. “I’m hungryyyy.”
“Mmmh. Two more minutes. You’re still tight.”
“If I don’t get a sandwich within five, I am gonna kill you.”
“Hot. Maybe I’ll wait seven, then.”
Frankie groans, splatting under him as their knees give out. Hearing him laugh as he helps pull them upwards. Carefully and slowly pulling out and hissing at the sight of his cum spilling out of them, going so far as to pull one of their cheeks apart to let it drip onto the ground.
“Mav. Hungry.”
“Damn, me too. Look atcha, sweetheart.”
“Mav!!!”
That’s when he laughs, patting their ass affectionately and offers to carry them home as a fair trade for them not to kill him. Which is agreed to, with his partner flat on their back and making grabby fingers up at him until he picks up all their clothes and scoops them up in turn. Holding them bridal style in his arms as Frankie starts to giggle out. “Is your dick still out?”
“At least I’m not the one who spilled cum on the dirt.”
“It was from YOUR dick!!!!”
With the fading argument left humming in the woods with the sound of laughter following in their wake.
No, maybe they didn’t get the scene right this time, but neither would have had it any other way.
