ღ Just when you thought the boy was dead! Here is a quick Akumu X Shu piece for the sloth boys birthday - I realize it’s late. It is heavily inspired by a commission I got of Akumu so please enjoy. Fair warning, please forgive how un-polished this is. I am still working on portraying Akumu, Shu, Reiji & Subaru. ღ

Akumu walked about the mansion, something he would do regularly. Being here to guard the sons of Karlheniz, it was his job to make sure there were no intruders. Typically, things were quiet. The triplets used to be a problem, but now two of them had… humans to occupy their time. Ayato would often make a mess, or trick Subaru into something. Reiji left it to Akumu to handle them most of the time. Today it seemed they were both preoccupied. In fact, most everyone in the mansion seemed busy doing something. 

Akumu managed to find Reiji, who was currently in the dining room. “Sakamaki-san, is there something I could assist you with?” He asked seeing the second son muttering to familiars. Akumu did not mind doing some house work around the house. 

“Ah, Mashiro. Perhaps you could do something for me. Go and find Ayato or Subaru. Those two are the ones who suggested these festivities, but of course they leave them to me.” Reiji spoke, though did not look over at Akumu. He was clearly annoyed with whatever it was is brothers were planning. 

Akumu nodded and left him be, off to find Subaru. The youngest Sakamaki had a special… priority to him. He was not sure why. It was similar to his… sense to protect the eldest son as well. The two of them always seem to take urgency. Akumu did not now why. Nevertheless, he did not need to look hard to find Subaru. 

The youngest vampire saw the bodyguard approaching. He was currently outside in the gardens, but he did not have a real reason to be there. “What do you want?” He said, obviously trying to sound threatening. Subaru must be in one of his legendary moods, though Akumu had no idea why. 

“Reiji-san wanted me to find you. He said you and Ayato have work to do?” Akumu says blankly. There was no need to feel threatened or to address Subaru’s behavior. It always made things worse. 

“Ayato? Why would… ah damn. That stupid party idea. Eh, tell Reiji it was a joke. He’s actually making a party for him? That’s surprising.” Subaru smirks a bit thinking how ridiculous the idea was. 

“A party? What for?” Akumu did not think there was a need for a party in the house. Typically the vampires were requested to attend other events, but not in the mansion.

“Huh, don’t you know? Shu’s birthday is tonight.” Subaru was a little shocked. 

Akumu thought for a moment. Did he know that? All this time in the house and he had not bothered to worry about such days. It was not important to their safety, so he never bothered. Perhaps something special was done on ‘birthdays’?  

Without another word Akumu left the young vampire and re-entered the mansion. Should he do something for Shu? It seemed appropriate. What could he do? Something that would make him… smile perhaps? Akumu walked to the eldest son’s room. Knocking softly, he could tell the vampire was not in. He must be napping somewhere else. 

With that in mind, Akumu entered the room. It was neat and clean, though that was not because Shu cleaned it. He looks around the room for something, though he wasn’t sure what. Something that showed him Shu’s interest. Searching around the room, under the bed, in dressers and closets. There was only one thing he could find that was remotely useful. 

Magazines and books, though it surprised him that Shu owned something like this. Other than his music player, he had never seen the eldest son with anything. What was it about these that made Shu want to keep them? Akumu flipped through the pages, feeling more confused than before. 

There were women in the magazine, however they were not clothed. Some were, but they were quite revealing. Was this something Shu enjoyed? Seeing women dressed as such? Akumu did not know any women, well… not any he could ask this of. Not to mention an outfit like this certainly wasn’t lying around the house. 

Perhaps Laito would have something like this? He was known for having strange clothes for that boy of his. With that thought Akumu left Shu’s room and searched for the youngest triplet. After explaining to him the situation, Laito was all too excited to help. 

--- Moments Later ---

Shu laid inside the lower levels of the mansion. He had decided that the ‘game’ room was the best place to nap today. Reiji was being noisy upstairs, and he wasn’t in the mood to deal with it. All was fine until he felt the presence of their watchdog. Shu assumed he was simply making rounds, so he didn’t bother moving. 

“Shu-san. I am here to serve you.”

Shu let out a small sigh, what could he want. He would much rather sleep the night away. Unwillingly he shifted himself up, and yawned. Opening his eyes last, the vampire turned to Akumu. It typically takes a moment for him to wake up when he doesn't want to, but this time, it happened instantly. 

Standing before him was the mansions protector, only now, he was dressed in a maid outfit. Why was he dressed like this? Who could have possibly told him that was a good idea? The man stood at the ready, like he was reporting for duty or something. 

“Ah. I meant ‘Master Shu, nyan’” Akumu says with a straight face, and monotone voice. Bringing his hands up to form cat ears. 

Shu couldn’t believe what he was seeing. It was so shocking he couldn’t bring himself to laugh. Instead Shu moved his legs off the bench and looked up at Akumu. With a small smirk he patted his leg. “Really? Well little maid, come here and service me thoroughly.”

Akumu felt his face flush slightly. He was content with knowing Shu was smiling. With a small nod he moved over the vampire, and decided that just for today, he would be extra obedient.

@vhazzrhossze / @sanin-oni-lovers I've had this for a while, and I just had to show it. =w= I've always pictured Akumu winning against Hisoka in a fight without breaking a sweat. XD Because I picture Hisoka being unable to catch up with him, regardless of how hard she has trained. My poor tsundere-baby (TwT);;; Kitten, I hope I drew Akumu well. ;w; I remember this being so much fun for me to draw, and I absolutely loved drawing him! (Ironically more than I drew Hisoka here X"D)

Ahh... it’s nice to be at school again. 

Seems like forever since I was last here~ summer was far too long!

Yuuki walked through the halls of  Ryoutei Academy, it was nice. School was a break from the craziness that was the Sakamaki House. As she made her way down the stares to her next class, Yuuki sees a boy standing at the bottom. He was speaking with Reiji. 

Yuuki

I don’t remember seeing someone like that around, yet Reiji-sama is talking to him so casually. 

Reiji

I see. 

So you were sent here by that man. 

I suppose it cannot be helped. 

I will not stop you, just be sure to not make things more difficult than they need to be. 

???

I understand.

Reiji turns away from the male to look up the stairs right at Yuuki. He motions for her to come down and join them. 

Reiji

Miss. Koishikawa, this Akumu Mashiro. 

Our father has ordered him to, for a lack of a better word, act as your personal escort for now. 

Yuuki

My... wha... but I have Kanato-san I don’t really need-

Akumu

My orders are to be followed without question. 

I will server and protect Yuuki Koishikawa. 

Yuuki looks to Reiji for some kind of reassurance, but it seemed like he had nothing to say. This, would not be easy to explain to Kanato. 

Yuuki

I... don’t know about this...

I do have permission to use Akumu’s sprites from @vhazzy ! 

Ahh I hope his personality was okay. I’ll work hard to keep him as close to cannon as I can. 

He is not available for ask, but I will make cute skits for him while he visits! 

I am very excited for some Yuuki and Akumu bonding!

Where did you get that Future Kanato? Will there be other future DiaBoys

He is actually my own design, along with the person I commissioned to make him! That Kanato is how he ages in the Tormented Reverie/TR:AD Universe. Here is the proof of commission and artist credit for him.

As far as making the others, I am not sure yet. I have future plans for Excruciating Duplicity, but nothing has been made yet.  

He is strictly NOT to be uploaded anywhere but on my blog. If you see him anywhere else, please let me know. I do not like him going around without me.
