Summary:
From April 2, 1978 to August 26, 1979, it was broadcast on Fuji TV every Sunday from 19:00 to 19:30. All 73 episodes. From episode 65 onwards, the title has been changed to "SF Saiyuki Starzinger II". Aired on Toei video production. Strangely enough, at about the same time, Nippon TV aired the drama "Journey to the West Series" and TBS aired the drifter puppet show "Fly! Son Goku" on the same subject.
Based on "Journey to the West", Eisuke Ishikawa's science fiction novel "Science Journey to the West" is the original draft. Produced in the midst of the Leiji Matsumoto boom that began with "Space Battleship Yamato" in the late 1970s, following on from the previous program "Wakusei Robo Kano no Danguard A", Matsumoto drew the settings for the anime. Unlike the previous work, Matsumoto himself does not comicalize, Gosaku Sakurata is "TV Land" and Shigeto Ikehara is serializing the manga version as " Adventure King". In addition, the main character of this work, Kugo, has been changed from the giant robot series that has continued with the "Mazinger" series and "Wakusei Robo Danguard A" to a life-size hero. However, perhaps because of the setting that Son Goku in Journey to the West can also be gigantic, after becoming "SF Journey to the West Starzinger II", a setting has been added in which the main character becomes gigantic and fights.
The galaxy was in turmoil. Due to the weakening of the galaxy energy emanating from the center of the galactic universe, Great Pluto, even the good cosmic creatures became ferocious and rampaged as space monsters. In order to stop the progress of the situation, the power of Princess Aurora, who lives on the planet (Earth) of the solar system, was necessary. Therefore, Princess Aurora follows three galaxy cyborgs, Jean Cugo, Don Hakka, and Sir Jogo as knights. To restore peace in her universe, she continues her journey to the great planet while fighting space monsters and evil aliens.

@kitoddwrite replied to your post “So...Jyou, Demon, Dolphin, Grani, Neemon, and...”:
Wait, what's this about Kurata's voice actor?
All of the following characters (and more!) are voiced by the same voice actor, Kikuchi Masami: Jou (Adventure/02), Dolphin and Grani (Tamers), Neemon and the narrator (Frontier), Kurata (Savers), Tuwarmon/Damemon (Xros Wars), Neemon (Adventure:), and Ryudamon (Ghost Game). Basically, he’s known for having a “perfect attendance rate” for Digimon in terms of TV series (he wasn’t in Appmon, but for the sake of claiming his streak is unbroken it’s usually reasoned that Appmon was a sort of special branch that was deliberately trying to break away from existing Digimon conventions at the time).
Considering how lovely most of those characters are, Kurata is often treated as the most unexpected/impressive role out of all of these. It really is incredible to think about the fact that the same guy who did everyone’s favorite Jou-senpai and Neemon and such also did an amazing job voicing one of the franchise’s biggest scumbags (and being very good at making you hate him more, too). Even those familiar with his non-Digimon roles are often surprised at how well he pulled off a role like that, since it’s not his usual.

Ghost Game 39 and 40!
39, Contagion Island!
Starting off with the body horror, eh?!
OH YOU ARE TINY, JUST ITTY BITTY
AND JUST?? CHILL?? Like I was lowkey assuming Gyukimon would be kind of like RareRaremon, but no?? He’s just a dude??
OH HE’S A RYUDAMON ALSO OH!! OH!! JOOOOOOOO
I heard someone mention Kikuchi Masami still sounded the exact same as he did in Adventure, and man, he really does ;w; (It wasn’t quite as noticable in Psi since he was doing like Ol’ Man Neemon instead of Jyou’s baby voice)
BUT YEAH!! IT’S RYUDAMON, the other Digimon VB had spoiled
AND HE’S AFTER HIRO TOO (under Hokuto’s orders), incredible
It’s interesting how the sub goes out of its way to make sure Hiro refers to Ryudamon as Ryuda while everyone else mis-species him
You know it’s interesting they didn’t think about asking for Dr Mummymon’s opinion, only Bakumon’s (also didn’t ask Jellymon if she could undo the thing if she evolved)
Oh boy, we circle back to the opening now eh
RIP Niijima
Oh god this is actually kind of fucked up
Oh boy Ryudamon is growing into a big boy
God that’s fucked up
Well that’s just great
I don’t think I’ve seen bodyhorror like this in a kids show since 2k3 Turtles lmao
“Call Airdramon” OH LET’S GOOO
You guys, you could maybe like, have Gammamon evolve to Kaus and Jellymon up to Thetismon and like. Just fly around above, out of Gyukimon’s reach. Y’all are on an island, he can’t get high enough to get to you and can’t leave the island either
Oh Hiro, baby darling ;m;
(I wonder if this was meant to be Hiro’s SkullGrey-moment... Not in a “fucked up evolution” way but “protag fucks up and it messes with him mentally” kinda way)
AIRDRAMON FAST
HELL YEAH THE HOLY LIGHT OF THE DIGIVICE, LET’S GO
:o
And the baby has been found ;w;
And the day is saved
The episode was okay! BUT ONTO THE NEXT ONE
40, Spiral Beach!
Oh god this episode is totally gonna be an Uzumaki tribute, isn’t it
My only weakness...
SHUDDER
Kiyo drinks “dragon water” lmao
Aaand the mystery of the “real Hiro” has been solved. How anticlimactic
Pffffft
Uh oh baby boy’s been discovered!
Oh no baby boy really is in his rebellious phase
HHHHhhhhhh
Yeah Rin, teach the pouty boy a lesson (affectionate)
You know what Junji Ito meme goes here, I don’t even have to go look for that jpeg, you know the one
Also Jellymon THAT IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO NAP
Ah, Frontier rights?
I WAS GONNA BE LIKE “oh god Jellymon looks kinda fucked up (but it’s a shame her tentacles didn’t turn curly ontheir own, it would’ve been kinda funny)” BUT NO
I HATE THAT, I HATE THAT A LOT
NOOO NOT THE KITTY CAT NOOOOOOOOOO
This is absolute nightmare fuel jesus fucking christ
Oh no
I don’t want to see what happened to those swimmers
NOPE THAT’S HORRIFYING
THAT’S ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING, GOD MAKE IT STOP
God this episode has far better animation that it needs
OH NO BABY BOY SPLATTED
BABY BOYYYYYY ;A;
I would kill a man for you, I love you so much
And everything’s getting turned back, thank god
Why is Espimon hanging out on his own at Hiro’s place
It was a good episode but god knows I am never rewatching this, jesus fuck
NEXT EPISODE PREVIEW!!!
Very hyped about this fucker showing up
But gOD, TOEI, WHERE’S THE CLOWN
FUCK, YOU WON’T EVEN GIVE ME A HINT
GOD I’M IN PAIN
I JUST WANTED A HINT
I mean I guess the red coat could be hinting at Piemon
It would be about time they introduce Ultimates
And Piemon would be a great ring leader for them
(But also it could be Jokermon)
TOEI I’M DYING

Who is your favorite Sonic voice actor?
This question is kind of too easy for my mind to see vaguely, so here's an overly detailed answer to keep my brain happy.
For just Sonic himself, easily Masami Kikuchi. His performance in the OVA has pretty much been perpetually the voice in my head when I hear Sonic.
For the Sonic IP on a whole though, it has to be Kawata Taeko. Her voice work for Amy is always an absolute treat to listen to and it is such a shame to me that no English VA even comes close to trying to capture the magic of her Amy.
For VAs who have lent their voices to Sonic productions but are known for their careers well beyond it, no one tops Hayashibara Megumi. She's an absolute legend and she has never disappointed me with her performances and I enjoy a large portion of her musical career as well.
Hopefully that wasn't just more confusing info

This... this is one heck of a thing!
Okay, so this is a concert special featuring TARAKO, the voice actress for Maruko. The songs aren’t half bad, but nothing you need to immediately start playing the video for.
What you NEED to do is go to 8:50, where you’re going to see her actually speak in her Maruko voice, which is super trippy. The kicker is that after a bit, the voice actor who plays Hanawa, Masami Kikuchi, comes out, and they sing the song that Hanawa performed for the singing competition back in Episode 8. Then, they do Odoru Pompokolin!
If you are the SLIGHTEST fan of Chibi Maruko-chan, I urge you to check out this video as soon as possible.
