Have you read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo? can you make a loubbie verison please?
This book had me bawling and singing its praises, so this is an HONOR❤️✨ I will never do TJR’s novel Justice, but here is a poor attempt:
Tumblr media
There had been a lot of press about me over the years. Scandalous headlines. Award nominations. Rumors. Pity parades. But no one truly knew my story. No one truly knew who Deborah Ocean was. Because well, Debbie Ocean wasn’t real. She was really Devorah Mayim. But I didn’t want to be restricted to a culture or a religion or a family or a background. I wanted to be famous. And I wanted to be famous for being me.
It was inappropriate and a bit rash I’m sure to go about an interview knowing I was going to give a story that was anything but what the magazine was looking for, but even if the magazine was mad, I was going to change this reporter’s damn life. Not that auctioning my gowns to raise money for cancer wasn’t a worthy cause. It was. Most certainly so. After all, cancer had taken my reason for living away not once. But twice. But it was no story. My life. That was the story.
The young girl seems intimidated. And hell, most people would be. But I’m not most people. She has no idea that I’m about to change her life. And she hasn’t the faintest clue that she will be the first human in the world to truly learn the story of Debbie Ocean, starlet and celebrity turned recluse.
It’s easy enough to begin. The smaller parts of my story are the ones that don’t affect me so. They don’t matter as much. They helped shape who I am, of course, but they don’t weigh as heavy on or torture my soul. They’re just artifacts.
My first husband is like that. Linus Caldwell. He was nice enough. A baby face. A boring but stable job. Chivalrous. He knew he was getting more than he bargained for in more ways than one. But he had enough income that he could help me run. And that’s what was important to me at the time.
Dennis Mayim was the devil. He was volatile. He abused my mother. He abused me. And I vowed every night that I would make my way out of Hell’s Kitchen and flee the city for a life that was better. Different.
I was upfront with Linus about this. We had our fun, and I showed him plenty of it, but he was my escape hatch. My safety valve. He wasn’t the love of my life. And that made it easier than ever for me to walk away.
Linus told me he always knew I’d leave him for another man, and that was true. But it wasn’t for love. It was for fame. And I’d never been dishonest about my goals. Robert Ryan, or Rusty, as the industry knew him, was an up and coming producer at Sunset Studios and we became fast friends. He wanted to produce films with stars and I wanted to be a star. He told me I had what it takes.
Linus was done. And Devorah was good as dead. I didn’t want my father trying to convince anyone he was owed any of my money anyway.
Claude was Rusty’s idea. Having a beau on my arm who was already a famous actor would only boost my star and help me on the road to fame. And I won’t lie, he was good…in the kitchen. What started as a publicity stunt turned into something real. It happened when you spent as much time together as we did. We had a lavish wedding. It was a gorgeous affair. A steamy honeymoon. And a Heaven of a homecoming. On camera at least. Hollywood doesn’t pay much attention to what truly happens behind closed doors. Especially when they can’t see the bruises or hear the yelling.
With a scotch in hand and a cigar in his mouth as he cursed at me, I realized my mistake. I’d married my father. I’d been blinded by the potential for fame and success. I hadn’t seen the yield signs.
But beauty is pain. And he was only taking it out on me because I was having an affect on his career as well. Who cares about Claude Becker when he was being outshone by his stunning, glamorous wife, Debbie Ocean? Not enough people for Claude’s liking.
It’s a relief when I am offered a different sort of role. I’ve done the sex. I’ve done the romance. I am tired of playing second fiddle and arm candy to Claude on film and in life. Josephine March was a role that would change all of that. Jo was serious. Aspirational. A writer. A leader. An inspiration to her sisters. It was going to put me on a pedestal and let me be seen in a whole different light. I was ecstatic.
The trouble, you see, was something else entirely. There are four March sisters. Amy is a nuisance. Meg is kind but dull. But Beth? Poor, sweet Beth, who falls ill and is taken from the world too soon? She could steal the show. And worse, she could steal the academy award.
I didn’t know anything about Louise Miller except that she was beautiful and talented. Younger than me. Bolder than me. And that bitch was going to steal my Oscar.

“I’m not trying to push you into this if you aren’t ready, Harry. I don’t want you to hold yourself back because you’re scared.”
“I’m scared,” she admitted with a sigh. “But Louis hasn’t done anything to make me uncomfortable or make it seem like she doesn’t approve of our dynamic and she’s great with Hattie.”
“Go for it then,” Liam smiled. “You’ve always been brave, Harry. You can do this and don’t you even think about using our scheduling as an excuse to wait two more weeks.”
“I wasn’t going to do that.” Liam raised an eyebrow making Harry roll her eyes. “Alright fine, I was probably going to do that.”
or Harry and Liam used to be married and after the divorce Harry decides to move close to Liam so their daughter can still have a relationship with Liam. After months of isolation, Liam urges Harry to attend a wlw event and meets Louis, who not only gives her much needed friendship but the love and acceptance she craves.

Marcel Styles/Louis Tomlinson • Mature • Porn with (a little bit of) Plot  • 6k
“Louis, you’re cuter than a button. Will you be my valentine? Hm, no,” Marcel scowls. “It is true but no. ‘I love you a latte!’ But wait, does he drink coffee? Only sometimes so that doesn’t make sense.”
Marcel sticks his tongue out as he ices three more cookies.
“I go bananas for you,” Marcel giggles. “That’s cute, but not sophisticated enough. He’s the best designer on our floor, he deserves something better. ‘Right from the start, you stole my heart?’ No, I don’t want to scare him off. I should probably just speak from the heart, that’s always what mom says. But then Gemma says that’s lame, I don’t knooow,” Marcel groans.
or the one where Marcel has a huge crush on his coworker, Louis, and decides Valentine's Day is the day to put himself out there.
Surprise! I was going to post this on Valentine’s Day but I can’t wait, so you can read it on ao3 now!

I am very much on the outskirts of the DWD discourse which is where I want to be. I have seen some stuff floating around recently and I have read a few articles and want to remind everyone that Shia Labeouf is an abuser. He is manipulating this situation to help his comeback to Hollywood and it's working- which is terrifying. Think critically and don't trust what he is saying because you have a vendetta against Olivia Wilde. And for those of you who don't know, Shia Labeouf also has a new movie coming out. Quite convenient all this is coming out now, no?

GA || Harry Styles/Louis Tomlinson || 2447 words || Fluff
Harry knew his first name, but he liked the way Dr. Tomlinson sounded more. Harry watched as Louis unclasped her harness and set it aside and pet her back and under her chin. Louis kissed the top of her head and murmured sweet nothings to her- mostly about how pretty she is and how well behaved she is. Harry wished it was him. or Harry has a huge crush on his cat's veterinarian and finally decides to do something about it.

Explicit | Harry Styles/Louis Tomlinson | 45k words | written for the @1dkinkfest
“Fuck,” Louis whispered. “That’s Liam, my ride, so I have to go. Can I get your number so we can continue this conversation?”
“Uhm…” Harry furrowed his brow. Did he want Louis' number? Did he want to keep talking to him? He had a good time so far and felt comfortable in his presence but that’s a far cry from wanting to build any type of relationship with someone.
“Or can I give you my number so you can call the shots?”
That was still scary, Harry thought, but not as bad as giving Louis his own number. He could hear Liam calling for Louis again, so he quickly slid his phone out of his pants pocket,  unlocked it and handed it over to Louis, who quickly put his number in.
Or, Age play was never just about the sex for Harry. After his old domme tainted his experiences, he didn’t think he could regress again. He didn't think he would find someone to submit to, to let go of his worries and be the caregiver he craves. So, after a two year break, he decides to reenter the local BDSM scene. Meeting Louis Tomlinson at his first munch back wasn’t what Harry expected, but maybe it was what he needed.

“I went a little overboard sure… but I’m still alive. So shh.” Loubby
"I can do this alllllll day, punk," Webby repeated for the fifth time that day.
"You're bleeding like crazy. Give up before you do something stupid," the fiend she was fighting pointed out. "And you're surrounded."
"Oh shut up, i can handle it," Webby spat when her phone rang in her pocket. She glanced around.
"Fine! You can take it," the Magpie groaned and all of her henchmen lowered their weapons and waited. Webby picked up the phone.
"Yellow? This is Webby," she answered like she wasn't on a top secret spy mission in a dark and abandoned ware house, fighting roughly the second worst criminal of her career.
"Webby, how's the mission going?" Louie asked.
"The mission?" Webby looked around.
"It's going greaaattt. How about you?"
"Not great Webs. You do realize how crazy I sound when I show up to the rehersal for the rehearsal diner- which both you AND Huey pushed for excessively-and I can't explain why the bride isn't there without saying we split up, right?" Louie harshly whispered into the phone.
"I know baby, i'm sorry. The boss said it was an emergency and I was near. And I'd love to chat right now, but Im just a lil... a lil busy," Webby was starting to feel light headed.
"Webby? You okay?" He immediately switched his tone.
"Nah, i'm fine. I'll be there soon. Love you," she smiled to no one.
"Okay, love you too. Please come back in one piece. I'd really hate to have to explain it to everyone with a different reason that I already came up with. Knife emergency," Louie chuckled to himself.
"Okay, love you, buh-byeeee," Webby hung up.
"He sounds like a real dreamboat," The magpie scoffed.
"Shut up. Only I call him that," Webby ran up to her and they began to fight once more. A few punches here, a few throwing and smashing chairs later, and Webby retrieved the file she needed and got the hell out of there.
"Woah, you okay Agent?" The pilot of her helicopter asked.
"Nope. Def need hospital," she said as she sat down next to him.
"Should I call your fiancee?"
"No, i'll be out in a jiffy, it's not even that drastic. He won't care. It's cool."
.o0o.
"You fought off ten guys, with a concussion, and with major-ish blood loss, and expected me not to care?!"
They had told Louie anyway and he went to the SHUSH hospital (which wasn't too far away from the rehearsal diner location, except that it was hidden).
"I went a little overboard sure… but I’m still alive. So shh," Webby sighed, feeling very tired. "Plus, i wasn't s'possed to get a concussion-which is only mino,by the way-They said get the drive and get out. This was an ambush accident."
Louie rubbed his forehead. "Yeah, i guess that's fair. I can't blame you for all of this. I just... get worried is all. We are getting married in two days," he held her hand. She stroked it with her thumb.
"I know Louie. And im sure i'll be out in time for the real rehersal diner, i promise. Once they get more blood in me, i'll be good and all yours," she smiled.
"Good," he stood and he kissed her briefly.
"But seriously, how did everyone react? Granny?" Webby perked up in interest of her own question.
"When I said 'knife emergency'most people left it at that. Mrs. B even offered to go help you, but I said you already left so that was that;" Louie shrugged.
"I'm sure she was suspicious. She always knows. It's the old spy thing," Webby winked.
"That's Mrs. B for you. Impossible to keep amy secret from, no matter how hard you try," Louie laughed, and Webby did too.
"You know you won't have to call her Mrs. B after we're married right? She'll just be Granny," Webby pointed out.
"Nope. Never. She'll literally never not be Mrs. B to me," Louie scoffed.
"We'll see," Webby chuckled lightly.
"We will;" they kissed again before Webby yawned.
"Guess i should let you get some rest. We have a long day tomorrow and you'll need to act like you weren't just in the hospital," Louie said.
"Please, this is me we're talking about. No one in the history of this whole planet recovers faster than Webby Vanderquack."

I discussed this with @donaldtheduckdad, but a part as to why I enjoy Loubby is the unrequited love angle on Dewey and Gillian (my oc).
Because in another fanon, they both have crushes, and their crushes run deep. They’ve fallen for them hard, but they see they’re happy together. They’re not going to ruin that.
But they need to do what’s best for them, so they distance themselves in little ways. They find friends and adventures outside their usual group. Huey supports Dewey. Gilligan supports Gilly.
When they’ve married, Huey visits them with house warming gifts because yes, it’s Huey, and Huey is going to gift them with house warming gifts, Louie and Webby talk about how awful unrequited love can be.
“I feel bad for them, you know?” Louie chews his mash potatoes, “Loving someone who doesn’t feel the same way about you, being their best friend and watching them move on with another friend. Sucks hard.”
“Okay, one, eat with your mouth closed, and two you make a good point.”
Huey drinks his water. Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know...
“It’d be like if Dewey had a crush on you!”
“Or Gilly had a crush on you!”
Huey laughs really awkwardly and loudly, “Yeah, that’d be weird right!”
Our precious red bean sucks at lying, and the two of them stare at him, “Huey...”
“Just drinking my water.”
“There isn’t any water left in the glass.”
“Oh.” They’re looking at him hard as the pieces start to fall in place, and Huey jumps from the table, “I HAVE TO LEAVE FOR AN UNSPECIFIED REASON!!!”
Huey books it out of there, leaving Webby and Louie with a sinking feeling in their chests.

Hi so I notice you ship loubby and I was wondering why? Also if you think there's any chance of that actually happening on the show?
Sorry it took so long for me to answer. I’ve been at work all day. 12 hours...I do ship Loubby. Why do I ship it? Well...I mean. That first episode was a big push in that direction for starters. I also love how they compliment each other in opposites. Its just cute to me. The biggest reason, though, is that Louie reminds me of my fiancé and Webby of myself. So in my mind I know they work really well together since we ARE them and we’re getting married. As far as them getting together in the show, no. I’m 98% sure it will not happen. 2% not sure because well...idk. They could surprise us? But they are focusing on family and getting into a relationship like that would definitely get in the way.

loubbie valentines date + smut
Tumblr media
“I really don’t see how this is necessary,” Debbie called from the closet. “I mean, we’re married, Lou.”
“Did you think I’d stop dating you after we were married?” Lou grinned, fastening her cufflink to the cuff of her sleeve before slipping into one of her favorite blazers.
“I mean I thought we’d be married when we were married,” Debbie mumbled, her voice getting softer as she disappeared further into the closet amongst the fabrics.
“Well, Ocean, if you weren’t aware. Date nights and dinners are part of the deal,” the blonde laughed. “And Valentine’s Day is kind of the grandaddy of them all. The dating Super Bowl.”
“I don’t do football.”
“No one does football,” Lou sighed, sinking down on the edge of the bed to examine her non-existent nails as she waited for her wife to emerge. “You play football.”
“Fine,” Debbie huffed, appearing from the closet in a tight, black dress that clung to her body like a second skin, looking stressed and almost irritated, but Lou knew she was simply hiding her discomfort at being spoiled and loved by Lou. Especially on a day that just screamed mushy gushy pink and candy love.
“You look…” Lou started, shaking her head. “Fuck.”
“That good, huh?” Debbie smirked, but Lou didn’t miss the sprinkle of pink that ghosted her cheeks or the goosebumps that rippled across her exposed arms. “Where are you taking me?”
“It’s a surprise,” Lou whispered, standing up to pull the brunette close to her chest, breathing her in before her lips met Debbie’s, soft and slow.
“Or, we could just stay here,” Debbie offered quietly, her hips slowly meeting Lou’s, fingers sliding down the blonde’s arms.
“Patience,” Lou murmured, kissing Debbie again. “I know what you like for dessert, honey.” She gave the brunette a wink before slinking away towards their bedroom door, waiting for Debbie’s gay panic to settle so she could follow her out into the foyer and to the car.
Eventually, Debbie let Lou whisk her away, with the excuse that they had several years of missed Valentine’s days to make up for, the blonde intent on making up for every missed one and then some.
There was flirting and wine and steak. Cocktails and teasing. And just to make Debbie roll her eyes, secretly with glee, ridiculous cards meant more for elementary school kids than adults exchanging valentines, jewelry, heart shaped nonsense, balloons, chocolates and champagne. The two of them falling into the loft a mess of giggles and whispers and satisfied hums.
“That was amazing, baby,” Debbie smiled, closing the door behind them before sinking back against it, letting out another deep hum of delight as Lou grinned at her. “I don’t think I have room for dessert though.”
“Who said anything about needing to have room for dessert?” Lou asked, moving closer to Debbie, her hands sliding over and down her hips to her ass, cupping her with a smirk. “Though I won’t lie, you always look good enough to eat, honey.”
“Lou,” Debbie breathed, rolling her eyes for only a moment before the blonde was pressing her palm into her neck as Debbie let out a quiet squeak of surprise.
“You were saying?”
“I…I….”
“That’s what I thought,” Lou whispered, her hand pressing firmer against Debbie’s throat as she moved in to kiss her, Debbie latching onto her desperately, trying to take control and tug at Lou’s lip, but the blonde wasn’t having it, moving her thigh between Debbie’s legs as Debbie let out a cry, her hips already trying to grind down against Lou. “You want me to do something, Deb?”
“Please,” Debbie breathed, her eyes blown wide, teeth finding her own bottom lip, eager for Lou to touch her more as her skin flared.
“Tell me,” Lou instructed, pushing her thigh harder against Debbie. “Or keep using me, honey. I do love watching you work yourself against me trying to get off.”
“Taste me,” Debbie panted, closing her eyes as she felt Lou’s fingers dance against her wet panties. “Please, Lou. I need your tongue inside me.”
“Just one question first,” Lou murmured against her neck.
“Fuck,” Debbie groaned, visibly agitated, trying to work herself against Lou, crying out as Lou’s fingers slipped behind the fabric of her underwear, teasing through her heat. “Anything.”
“Be my valentine?”

Can you do one where Loubbie and the gang are on a beach resort holiday and they bump into one of Debbie or Lou’s exes …
I’ll do you one better 👀
Tumblr media
“Would you please tell my wife that I’m right?” Debbie huffed, lowering her sunglasses as she rolled over in her chair to face Tammy.
“I’m not part of this,” Tammy sighed, motioning between the couple before she turned back to her magazine, shaking her head.
“Anymore,” Lou coughed into her elbow as she shared a snicker with Debbie. “But you’re wrong, Deb. Tammy of all people would agree with me. In fact, it proves my point.”
“Not saying I care,” Tammy frowned. “But what point am I proving?” She asked, closing the magazine against her towel as she looked up at the blonde, now concerned that she’d already been dragged into something without even offering a single sentence on the matter.
“That it’s no big deal to be friends with an ex,” Lou shrugged, taking a swig from her bottle.
“Lesbians,” Debbie rolled her eyes, tossing the sunblock towards Lou’s face, the blonde catching it with a wink.
“Make fun all you want,” Lou shrugged. “It’s a small gay world, Debs. You can’t go writing off everyone or there’s no one left to date next.”
“Says the happily married woman,” Debbie grumbled. “I’m just saying. I think it’s weird. I mean what about—“
“People who land you in jail are not part of this example,” Lou seethed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “But Tammy is. Rusty is,” Lou pointed out, pretending to gag momentarily.
“Lou Lou?!” Someone shrieked. “Is that you babe?”
“Fuck me,” the blonde groaned, trying to grab Tammy’s abandoned sun hat to hide behind, but Debbie was too fast, snatching it away as she waved the woman over.
“What’s that, Lou?” Debbie snorted. “Oh, it’s the annoying ex shriek of me winning my point.”
“Can it, Ocean,” the blonde hissed, rolling over with a fake smile at the ready as she turned to face the brunette approaching them.
“God,” the woman sighed. “How long has it been?”
“Aubrey,” Lou nodded, curtly, gesturing to Tammy. “This is my friend, Tammy and this is Debbie, my wife.”
“Well, look at that!” Aubrey grinned. “Someone was finally able to tame you after all these years. Look at that! Thought you didn’t do commitment,” she smirked, hurt and blazing eyes glimmering beneath the surface as her eyes focused in on the glaring diamond on Lou’s left hand that rested on her thigh.
Debbie couldn’t hide her satisfied grin. She didn’t want Lou, but she loved pushing a button or two when she could. It was worth the punishment. In fact, it was the best.
“Who’s this, hun?” A deep voice called out before a man jogged up beside Aubrey, throwing his arm around her.
“Well, this is sort of funny,” Aubrey giggled, almost hiding in his chest as she murmured. “You remember how I told you about that one time I dated a woman?”
“Lou Miller,” he nodded. “Heard your bike skills surprised my girl. She had no clue what was under that helmet,” he laughed. “Pleasure. I’m—“
“Eric,” Debbie deadpanned.
“Debbie,” he glowered, only now noticing the brunette laying adjacent to Lou.
“Eric Eric?” Lou laughed, her eyebrows practically springing into her hairline, disappearing behind her bangs with shock and delight.
“Eric who you dumped with a post-it, Eric?” Tammy gasped, looking incredulously at Debbie.
“Oh, Eric,” Lou chuckled. “I have sooo many questions for you.”

could you write versions of Lou’s POV when debbie gets jealous of tess? those young loubbie/tess stories you write but it’s lou’s perspective 🥺
I just did Lou’s point of view for Young Loubbie/Tess + Rusty playing poker the other day, so I took a stab at Lou’s POV when Debbie is jealous of how flirty Lou and Tess are when they’re married: Original is here, but you don’t have to have read the original to understand this update!
Tumblr media
“Stop doing that,” Tammy sighed, leaning back against the the laundry room door as Lou looked up from where she was bent over the washer, fishing around for something.
“You’ll have to be more specific, love,” Lou laughed, holding up a small, stuffed rabbit with floppy ears that had weaseled its way into the laundry and escaped Dani’s supervision.
“That,” Tammy huffed. “Exactly that. The loves, the flirting, the smirks, the winks.”
“You love it,” Lou winked before letting out a snort as she closed the washer, turning to face her friend, tucking the bunny under crossed arms.
“Dare I ask?” Tammy asked, raising an eyebrow.
“About Bun Bun?” Lou grinned. “The police are on it. Put out an APB. Told Debs to watch her ass with the cops on the case, but you know, you do what you have to do to get a missing bunny back.”
“Lou,” Tammy exhaled, reaching out to touch the blonde’s shoulder. “Come on.”
“It’s really bothering her that much?” Lou asked, her face sinking as reality dawned on her. Tammy shouldn’t have been surprised that Lou was only feigning innocence and knew exactly what Tammy had been up to. Protecting Debbie. Like she always did. Well, when she wasn’t protecting Lou.
“I mean she says it’s not,” Tammy shrugged. “But you know how stubborn she is.”
“Yeah,” Lou breathed, leaning back against the laundry machine , propping her wrists up on the lid as Tammy made a beeline for the tumbling bunny, catching it with expert skill. “You know I tried to give her shit for it.”
“By doing what?” Tammy laughed, twisting the bunny around in her hands.
“By saying she flirts with you just as much,” Lou smirked.
“That’s different,” Tammy sighed, waving her hand.
“That’s what Debs said,” Lou grinned, shaking her head. “Two peas.”
“Debs and I are never on the same page about anything, Lou,” Tammy laughed. “But nice try there, Miller.”
“Ocean,” Lou corrected on instinct as Tammy studied her quietly for a moment.
“Yeah,” Tammy nodded. “Ocean. Just remind Debbie of that, sometimes. You know? That you’re hers.”
“It’s just Tess,” Lou pointed out. “And you know it’s just innocent, sister-in-law, friend shit. It’s not—“
“I know,” Tammy smiled. “I do. I’d never accuse you of anything and I know you never would even think of doing anything. Just—this is a Debbie I’ve never know before. A Debbie who’s a wife and a mother. And a Debbie who had her life thrown upside down and lost everything and couldn’t see an end in sight. And then she lost Danny. I just—the little Debbie things I usually brush off or laugh at—which I even told her she’s being ridiculous and I saw those convincing whispers and kisses, Lou—just, protect her, okay? Keep her close. I don’t think it’s really that stubbornness or that jealousy like the old Deb.”
“You think she’s scared,” Lou realized, tears forming in her eyes.
“Yeah,” Tammy bit her lip. “I think she’s waiting for something bad to happen. Like she doesn’t deserve all the good that’s happened to her. She has you, finally. And Danielle. And this giant family. And this gorgeous home. I just feel like she’s waiting for something to go wrong. And even if it doesn’t, because it won’t. I think she needs to hear that from you.”
The blonde lingered in the hallway upstairs for a moment after she walked Tammy out, trying to swallow the doubts and fears that were creeping up in her own mind. She hadn’t meant to make nothing out of Debbie’s jealousy if it truly was worried. And even though she’d addressed it sincerely, she wanted to make sure that her wife was truly okay. That she felt secure and safe and loved.
She knocked lightly on the door before entering, her heart melting as she saw Dani curled up against Debbie’s lap as the brunette read quietly to her, Danielle letting out a little yawn.
“Hey, baby,” Debbie smiled as Dani looked up at the blonde excitedly, giving her a tiny wave.
“I don’t want to interrupt story time,” Lou whispered, sitting down on the edge of the bed. “But I found this stowaway in the laundry room,” she smiled, passing the bunny to Danielle as she let out an excited yelp, throwing her arms around Lou as she let out a chuckle.
“You saved him!” Dani cried, snatching the bunny the blonde offered her as she excitedly showed it to Debbie.
“I made it my mission,” Lou whispered, stroking the younger girl’s hair back as she looked up at her wife. “I know you sleep better with him by your side,” she spoke to Dani, but Debbie knew the words weren’t for her daughter. “Bun Bun is nice and safe and ready for bed, right? And he loves you. And so do I. And so does Mom.”
Debbie’s hand found Lou’s squeezing it tight as Dani smiled, looking back and forth between them.
“I love you!” Dani sang as her moms shared a laugh, squeezing her tight.
“Alright, squirt,” Lou sighed, tucking the blankets around Danielle as she made to stand. “Can I borrow your mama now that you and Bun Bun are all ready for bed?”
Danielle gave a nod, accepting a kiss on the head from both Debbie and Lou before they flicked off the light, Lou kicking on the nightlight before the door closed behind them.
“You know how Fucking much I love you, right?” Lou asked, pulling Debbie in against her hips outside their bedroom door.
“No,” Debbie giggled. “Remind me.”
“I’ll do you better than that,” Lou smirked, picking Debbie up as she let out a shriek as Lou carried her into their bedroom.

Hi! I'm a fan of your work. Can I ask you a question? Are you still writing that fic where Lou and Deb are actually married when Debbie got thrown into the jail? I find the idea interesting and was hoping to see your take in it. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!❤️
Why yes, yes I am👀 I have probably about two chapters worth written and am still honestly deciding whether it’ll be a simple two or three parts or if I’m going to drag it out longer and add more depth to it. I’m having a lot of trouble deciding if it would make things still happen the way they do in canon or if it would become an alt universe sort of thing re: Deb getting out of prison/the whole Met heist.
Because it’s been a while since I left the teaser and I’ve gained about 100 of you lovely followers since I’ve started doing prompts consistently, so I will leave another teaser chunk below!!

“What do you mean I can’t see her?” Lou sighed. She didn’t want to be here in the first place, but there was guilt and regret tugging at her heart. And now that she’d gotten her hopes up, she was running into roadblocks left and right, and the holdbacks were making her realize how badly she needed to see Debbie. Craved it. It physically hurt now that she’d set her mind on it.
“I’m sorry,” the man shrugged. “There’s no record of a Lou Miller here.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Lou huffed, but she tried to collect herself. “Does there need to be a record? Can’t I just see her? Please.”
“Not unless you’re in the book under inmate Ocean’s history of visitors,” he shook his head. “You said you’ve visited before?”
“No,” she looked down. “First time.” This was the first time in five years she’d even attempted to see her partner. What a fucking asshole she was.
She tried to ignore the pang in her heart and the bile in her stomach that churned with disgust she felt at hearing Debbie referred to as an inmate. How the hell had she not come sooner? There may have been a lot of anger, jealousy, and devastation between them, but she should’ve done the right thing. Should’ve tossed aside the I told you so she still clung to deep down and ran to Debbie to offer her something even if it was just commissary money or magazines. She hadn’t given her shit to hang onto while she was stuck inside here and she wanted to sit down on the floor and cry.
There was time with Debbie she already wanted to rip back from the universe and now she had a sentence of five years she wanted to tack onto it. Why had she been so god damn stubborn? There were certain events that just forced you to get over yourself and toss issues aside, and prison was definitely one of them. Anger and hurt had blinded her too much.
“Oh,” he nodded. “Then you need to be screened before you can visit. Lou Miller is your legal name?”
“It’s Louise,” she sighed.
“Miller?”
“Ocean,” she corrected with a small smile. “I’m her wife.”

Lou POV WIP Snippet👀
Since I have 40 new followers, have a present 🎁
“Does she even know?” Lou asked nervously.
Tammy nodded. “Rusty went over there. Reuben too.”
“But I didn’t.” Lou frowned.
“You didn’t.” Tammy agreed, sounding almost disappointed.
“You think I should have been the one to tell her?” Lou asked, eyebrows raised. “Tell the woman who hadn’t spoken to me in over four years. Who, as you know, is married to me, and doesn’t want anything to do with me. I should be the one to tell her that her brother, her best friend, is dead.”
“I thought you were her best friend,” Tammy muttered.
The blonde scoffed in response. “I’m a con.”
Tammy sighed. “I don’t mean what you do for a living I mean...”
“Not a con artist,” Lou corrected herself. “A con for Debbie. No better than a fucking tourist with a bucket of quarters or a croupier.”
“Lou,” Tammy warned.
“She convinced me that she was in love with me,” Lou hissed, locking eyes with Tammy. They were starting to water against her will. “She conned me.”

i love the way you write debbie and danny’s relationship! could you write more loubbie and tess x danny (do they have a ship name lol) hanging out? maybe something about tess and lou’s flirtiness again
Tumblr media
“I can’t believe I finally get to meet her!” Tess squealed, clapping her hands together as she turned to Danny, giving him an excited grin.
“Just don’t do anything embarrassing,” Debbie sighed from the backseat. “I’m talking about you, Danny.” Debbie clarified, glaring at him in the rearview mirror as he rolled his eyes before looking back at the road.
“So, how long have you two been together?” Tess beamed, turning around to grin at Debbie.
“Just hit six months,” Debbie smiled, her heart fluttering at the thought. Though she hadn’t said it to anyone out loud, out of fear of being shot down or laughed at, Debbie knew this was the person she was going to marry. She’d known since day one.
“I thought it was longer than that,” Tess mused, looking thoughtful.
“Well, they’ve been partners for a few years,” Danny smirked. “But it took Deb just as long to get her head out of her ass and fess up how she felt.”
“Hey!” Debbie exclaimed. “Lou was no better than I was.”
“I’ll give you that,” Danny chuckled. “They really are two peas in a pod. Stubborn as hell. Idiots.”
“Takes a stubborn idiot to know a stubborn idiot,” Debbie hissed, sticking out her tongue.
“Real mature, Deb.”
“Shh, shh. Save the sibling banter. This is her place, right?” Tess asked excitedly, rolling down the window so she could wave as a shock of blonde hair came into view, Debbie’s nerves settling immediately at the sight, already ready to be wrapped up in Lou, so Danny’s teasing and nagging could die down and fade into the background while Lou distracted her and kept her calm.
Lou saluted the car as she walked forward, Debbie bouncing in her seat.
“Deb, you didn’t tell me how gorgeous she is!” Tess breathed.
Debbie couldn’t hide the sour expression that flashed over her face, reminding herself that everyone was drawn to and amazed by Lou, and that there were only more compliments ahead on the road, and that it didn’t mean anything, because it wasn’t coming from Lou.
“Hey, honey,” Lou breathed, swinging open the backdoor as she slid into the seat, kissing Debbie softly on the lips as the brunette hummed before Lou pulled away. “Danny,” Lou nodded. “And you must be the beautiful, Tess.”
“Yes,” Tess giggled before turning back to Debbie. “She’s quite the charmer, isn’t she?” Tess winked.
“So where we headed?” Lou asked, wrapping her arm around Debbie’s shoulder so the brunette could cuddle up against her.
“Figured the usual arcade and pizza,” Danny grinned, looking back at Lou in the mirror. “If I recall correctly, someone owes me an air hockey rematch. Can’t stay a victor forever, Miller.”
Lou scoffed. “Shows how little you know, Ocean.”
“They always like this?” Tess asked over her other shoulder quietly.
“You don’t know the half of it,” Debbie scowled, but she not-so-secretly loved the sibling rivalry Lou and Danny had. Pool rematches and beer chugging contests were definitely more fun than the rivalry she and Danny shared, fighting for their father’s attention.
“Why don’t you guys get started on your re-match?” Tess offered, once they were inside. “Deb and I will grab us some food and then we can all eat before we get to really playing.”
“You’re on, Miller,” Danny declared, smacking his hands together. Tess gave him a quick peck to the cheek as Debbie clung to Lou as the blonde chuckled.
“Don’t worry, honey,” Lou whispered. “It’ll only take me a few minutes to whoop Danny’s ass and then I’ll be right next to you.” She kissed the brunette and squeezed her ass before following Danny around the corner.
“So, what do I get to know about her?” Tess asked as the two women waited in line.
“She’s pretty much an open book,” Debbie shrugged. “She’ll tell you whatever you want to know if you ask.”
“No, Debs,” Tess sighed. “I mean, when it comes to the two of you. How’d it happen? And not Danny’s warped, ignorant man version of it.”
Debbie liked Tess. She really did. And so she offered her something that she rarely offered to anyone: the truth. How they’d been friends and partners first, flirting innocently enough. The tough realization that she had feelings for Lou, but didn’t want to ruin their trust or partnership. Finally cracking out of jealousy and heartbreak. Realizing that Lou felt the same. And then taking that leap.
And here she was, leaping again. Letting Tess into her world of Lou. Letting Lou into her world of Tess. She smiled to herself, proud and excited. This is what it would be like once Danny proposed to Tess with the ring he’d done a horrible job of hiding in Debbie’s apartment, and one day when she settled down with Lou. This was going to be her sister. Lou was going to be her wife.
“Helloooooo,” Lou teased. “Earth to Deborah Ocean. Is there an impending apocalypse I should know about? You haven’t touched a single slice of pizza. Don’t you usually require a minimum of three?”
“Yeah, sorry,” Debbie laughed quietly, taking the slice that Lou offered her as the blonde frowned at her with concern, sliding a water towards the brunette.
“Something on your mind, love?” Lou whispered, her hand finding Debbie’s thigh as she traced circles in her jeans. “You alright?”
“Better than ever, actually,” Debbie smiled. “I can’t remember the last time I was this happy.”
“It suits you,” Lou grinned, squeezing her leg as she winked.
