Maybe a controversial opinion that y'all are going to take the wrong way but. Metal is a music genre, not a honorific title. People who say Sleep Token isn't metal might think they're insulting ST but they actually aren't. People who say ST is metal might think they're defending ST but they actually aren't.
"Is ST metal?" is a purely neutral debate. The answer, whatever it is, should only matter to you when you're looking for their discography at the store and you want to know what category they might be in because you have a bus to catch and you don't want to wander around the aisles for half an hour. It says nothing about the band's merits.
I think if we could all agree on that, we wouldn't get mad at each other.

Vivia: Yuma you think I’m some sort of masochist?
Well, your looks and you saying “I want to die someday” dont really argue against it.
As we all know from Vivia's line in chapter 4, he dislikes pain immensely. The pleasure he gets from cooping himself up in cramped spaces isn't from the back aches, but rather the 'good memories' (AKA the remembrance of childhood innocence) he fondly looks back on. Sure, there might be some emotional pain (whether he really understands it or not), but he derives no positive feelings towards any physical harm, it's just an unfortunate price to pay that he's willing to endure to recall his innocence. At least laying under the piano provides him some relief on his back while still staying in a small space. Someone's gotta refer him to a professional message therapist for that poor back of his!

gotta say the best thing about moving from Art and Game Dev Twitter to similar spaces on tumblr is that nobody is On The Grind here in the same way that literally everybody was over there

on one hand i do bemoan the fall from popularity for collies quite a lot because i think they are wonderful family dogs and more people should have them. but, i'm also equally grateful that they lack the popular appeal that would make them victim to terrible trendy breeding practices (i.e. wacky colors and XXL/tiny sizes and other hypertypes)
i feel similarly about greyhounds - the fact that (in the US) they have had such incredibly limited breeding outside of tracks has been good because it results in a very healthy, regulated population. but with the closures of tracks we're already seeing more and more non-sport, non-show breedings start popping up and i am very concerned about what a BYB greyhound population will have to deal with. but given that it's ether this, or the breed becomes incredibly limited... not really a good option either way.

I got an advert for 'Always Platinum' and that is how I know the marketing department for menstrual products has one (1) person with a vagina, for the quota, whom they ignore.
Yes, I would like to fill my knickers with expensive metal one week out of four. That sounds comfortable and practical.

Fingers crossed next weekend is my last farmers market so I can swing down to southern Cali to see one of my favorite bands the following weekend before heading out of town on a 10 day trip.
