hi there & happy new year! can you please suggest some fcs like Chloe Zhao, Isabel Sandoval, Hong Chau? I'm particularly drawn to them because a) they have personality b) characteristics (which I also have) like Chloe's wide nose, Hong's thin eyes, the non-pale-as-a-sheet skin they all have—qualities that I feel are sometimes erased/downplayed with makeup, photoshop, or surgery due to media issues/racism/colorism. not to be too soppy about it but i find their beauty affirming. thank you <3

THE WORD TITLE; MANNY PACQUIAO
A Biography
Pacquiao was born in Kibawe, Bukidnon, and raised in General Santos, Philippines. He is the son of Rosalio Pacquiao and actress Dionisia Dapidran. His parents separated when he was in sixth grade, after his father had an affair. He is the fourth of six siblings, one of whom, Alberto "Bobby" Pacquiao, is also a politician and former professional boxer.
At the age of 14, Pacquiao moved to Manila and lived on the streets, worked as a construction worker and had to pick between eating or sending money to his mother. Pacquiao completed his elementary education at Saavedra Saway Elementary School in General Santos, but dropped out of high school due to extreme and abject poverty.
In February 2007, Pacquiao took and passed a high school equivalency exam, and was awarded with a high school diploma by the Department of Education.
Pacquiao married Jinkee Jamora on May 10, 1999. Together, they have five children, Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess) who is a popular YouTube vlogger with millions of subscribers and started the Pacquiao family's network of YouTube content, Queen Elizabeth (Queenie) and Israel. His first son, Jimuel, also rose to celebrity fame as an amateur boxer, model & actor, while his second son, Michael, is a rapper, who has amassed tens of millions of streams with his songs. His daughter, Queenie, was born in the United States.
Manny Pacquiao has an amateur record of 60–4 and a record of 62–8–2 as a professional, with 39 wins by knockout. Boxing historian Bert Sugar ranked Pacquiao as the greatest southpaw fighter of all time. In 2020, Pacquiao topped the Ranker's list of best boxers of the 21st century.
Pacquiao made history by being the first boxer ever to win world titles in eight weight divisions, having won twelve major world titles, as well as being the first boxer to win the lineal championship in five different weight classes. Pacquiao is also the first boxer in history to win major world titles in four of the original eight weight classes of boxing, also known as the "glamour divisions" (flyweight, featherweight, lightweight and welterweight), and the first boxer ever to become a four-decade world champion, winning world championships across four decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s).

Review Time: This song is about you by the Flying Ipis
In an Industry and genre that is dominated by men, Flying ipis is a breath of fresh air. With the hit single “this song is about you” which was featured in the 2012 Filipino indie film called “Ang Nawawala” (What isn’t there) directed my Marie Jamora. Apart from Flying Ipis, the film showcased different well-known bands like Eraserheads, Sandwich, APO Hiking Society, and other fresh and new Filipino bands. This song is about you perfectly depicts getting over a relationship that was once full of “kilig” but ended with a toxic heartbreak. The lyricism features and highlights the lyrics “This song is about you, everything is about you,” which gives emphasis on how strange people leave and how we never forget how they left us. This song depicts how we can break through from the sadness felt to be a better person, that everything we do is about them but still for me.  The music video’s focal point is the scene where the band-Flying ipis was live during their scene in the movie along with some parts in the movie that fit the beat and rhythm of the song. Let us support more Female bands like Flying Ipis and check out more of their recent songs on spotify!-Check out the 2012 indie film “Ang Nawawala” to have a better feel of the song “This song is about you.” spotify

---
toshio matsumoto’s demons is maybe one of my favorite films now. i loved it. it’s gorgeous and i liked the story and i was delighted by all the stylistic choices.
of course, i liked the new tsai. i was close to nodding off a few times but the movie is beautiful and oscillating in my head. also, ***spoiler alert*** one of the shots in the film is handheld following lee kang sheng around, a twist as shocking as rey being a palpatine.
i enjoyed my day of blackstar and in sudden darkness was worth the hype lol
