Prof. Solomon Michoels, the Soviet's greatest dramatic actor, and Lieut.-Col. Itzik Felfer, Russian soldier-poet, arrived by plane in Toronto last night for a Jewish anti-Fascist rally in Maple Leaf gardens Sept. 8. They have been received with wide acclaim in the U.S. where they have been spreading the gospel of Anti-Fascism. Prof. Michoels walked with a crutch due to a leg injury caused when a platform collapsed in Chicago under the weight of a welcoming crowd.
