Author's note: I just had to write this after seeing the Mando season finale ok 🤧🤧 Send me more requests for domestic life with Din on Nevarro. I can’t stop thinking about it 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Summary: A little drabble about domestic life with Din at his new house on Nevarro <3 Can be read as a gender neutral reader but mentions the possibility of children that come from you and Din

Home. An actual place to call home. No more nights spent on the Razor Crest or on the run. No more Mandalorian covert. A permanent home for the three of you.

After the Mandalorians retook Mandalore, you, Din and Grogu set off for Nevarro. Greef Karga gave Din a place of his own where the three of you could just be alone. While it was nice to be with all of the other Mandalorians, you were missing quality time with your boys.

You were standing in the doorway, looking at your front yard, admiring Grogu as he played with the creatures in the pond. It was so nice to see him just be a kid again, away from all of the threats in the galaxy. You smile to yourself and just think, this is all I ever wanted.

You feel a presence behind you and an arm snake around your waist.

“Are you happy here?” Din asks, though he probably already knows the answer.

“Of course I am. This is all I’ve ever wanted; a place to call our own with just the three of us.”

“Me, too,” he says. “I think I could do this with you, a domestic life.”

You smile and lean into him.

“Never really pegged you for the domestic lifestyle, Djarin.”

“I would take any kind of lifestyle as long as it meant I had the two of you,” he says, wrapping his other arm around you. “Maybe we could raise a few more kids of our own here,” he continues.

You close your eyes, imagining a life here with Din, Grogu and more kids of your own; kids that you and Din created together.

“I would want nothing more than to raise more kids with you, Din.”

“And I’m going to give you all of that and more, cyar’ika.”

He doesn’t have to say it; you know he will.

Mandalorian Season 3 Finale SPOILERS

I'm sure that someone else has pointed this out but the scene where the ship is crashing into the base and Grogu, Mando, and Bo are still fighting Gideon, Bo and Mando instinctively cover Grogu as the fireball comes towards them.

They were going to sacrifice themselves so their foundling could survive. They were fully willing to lay down their lives for him.

This is why I believe in Bo and Mando coparenting supremacy.

HI FRIENDS i am bored and procrastinating work so here are some mando season 3 finale theories that range from more likely to ridiculous (in whatever order u want).

1 Moff Gideon is dying for good. I think he will fully be killed in some crazy way

2 Bo Katan unhinged era. I really want her to embrace her insanity and go feral. She’d be such a compelling villain thinking whatever she’s doing is for the greater good of mandalore.

3 ALL the besties show up to get din out of prison. I’m talking Cobb, Mayfeld, Boba, Fennec. Ahsoka is a stretch but I wouldn’t be surprised if she showed up somehow?!

4 Grogu gets shot. That post from a while ago had me convinced because WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THAT CHESTPLATE???? yeah exactly. set up. He won’t die or be fully injured because disney wants merch money and id cry

5 Din face reveal for the fans

6 Grogu wins the darksaber

7 Mythosaur tease. Will someone ride it? i dunno. It’s likely. Favreau and Filoni love a big monster. It eats Moff Gideon

8 CGI Leia cameo. I don’t know how but I said it as a joke to my friends when the season started airing and if it actually happens i want it written down. I guess there’s a new republic plotline she could be weaved into for shock value. She shoots Elia Kane when she’s up to something

9 Din/ praetorian guard fight scene. this is for me personally let me live.

10 Thrawn on hologram

11 Grogu new force power shown or to an extent we’ve never seen before to save his dad <3 <3 <3

12 Mando’a will be spoken

14 Armorer either does something shifty or dies (she’s iconic but needs something to do)

This season of the Mandalorian was entertaining but was also so strange. I just can’t get over how it seemingly does a 180 on the Mando cult and decides they’re suddenly good. The cult that banished Din just for taking off his helmet once is suddenly good? The progression over the first 2 seasons seemed to be Din realizing the absurd rules of his cult are bad actually and he should start a new family elsewhere. At times I even thought season 3 was going in that direction with Grief offering him a home. Its even weirder because in this season they take it up a notch in showing how weird the cult is with rituals with children and the absurd way they all have to hide when they eat.

The show mentions again and again how Mandalorian infighting lead to their downfall. But with the show really leaning into the idea that Mando culture is just war and weapons, that infighting feels inevitable. But the show can’t bring that up because the Mandalorians have to remain cool and good.

i loved the hallway fight scene in the last episode but part of the reason i loved it so much was that it’s the first classic din fight we’ve gotten all season after multiple episodes of him being weak so that the writers could show off how strong bo-katan was. all of the mines of mandalore. the scene in episode six when he tackles the droid, which was great, only for bo-katan to shoot it first. even this episode where she shows up to save him from moff gideon. it was an awesome fight on its own, but for me it’s also sad because i feel like that’s one of the only scenes we’ve got this season of din being his badass self instead of a prop for bo-katan
