Simon Riley who bleaches his hair. (inspired by this)

There’s a weird smell in your flat. And no, for once, it’s not your boyfriend’s awful British ‘cooking’.

"Simon? You there?" you call out, kicking your shoes off and hanging your jacket up by the door.

"M’here," he calls back, occupied. The cat is sitting on the sofa, looking very unimpressed with his dad’s antics.

"Do you-" you turn a corner to see your boyfriend, staring into the bathroom mirror a little too intensely. One of those hair-colouring brushes is in his hand, painting a slightly blue-tinted paste over his short hair.

"Hey, sweetheart." Hr doesn’t turn from the mirror, but it’s clear that he’s struggling to hide the grin on his face as you catch him red-handed. Bleach-handed.

Simon bleaches his hair? It’s not naturally that colour? Not really knowing what to say, you just stand there and laugh a little, before stepping closer to investigate what he’s doing. He’s laid out all the products in no particular order, by the sink.

"Can y’get the back of my head?" he groans, turning his head in the mirror in an attempt to see how much of it he’s covered.

"Sure." You nod, standing on a chair to get a good vantage point over him.

"Missed a spot, Si," you coo, filling in the little section just above his nape that is not covered by the bleach, and lean to kiss his head, before deciding that that might not be a great idea. Instead, you hop down, and with his strong arms around you, reach up to give him a proper kiss.

"Thanks, love," he grins, not-so-subtly checking himself out in the mirror.

"This stuff stinks," you whine, giggling at this new hairstylist development.

Possessive/Dominant Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley Headcanons 🎀

i don’t know if possessive/dom is the right word but idk 😋 he’s just big and scary and loves his favourite girl sexual references so mdni!

ghost who secretly loves those cute little girly dresses you wear - him in the black polo shirt that hugs around his thick biceps and you in that mini skirt. he loves how sweet you look, seeming so innocent and vulnerable as if you just need a man like him to protect you and save you from those bad men who wouldn’t treat you right. it doesn’t matter that he’s a bad man as well, that doesn’t count. and he thinks you look so pretty with that skirt around you ankles, too. ;)

ghost who is so protective over his little girl… a man comes up to you in a bar and starts flirting, not making much effort to hide his long glances at your body. just as he tries to grope at you, a sleazy smile on his face, a dark shadow swoops over him - a man, more like a giant, with a firm, muscular hand gripping tightly around your waist. military boots, long black cargo pants that can’t quite hide his meaty things (and that bulge between them) with a black bomber jacket draped over one of his broad shoulders. dog tags dangling from around his neck and a full sleeve of tattoos, including numerous black-eyes skulls that started out from his rough skin. this guy was terrifying. safe to say, that creepy guy left you alone.

ghost who has a dedicated album of photos of you on his phone - mostly, he just uses them to look at when he misses you or when he’s bragging to the others about his pretty little bird, but sometimes he likes to use them for other purposes. god, seeing your sweet little face, happy and smiling at the camera… you’re such a good girl for him…

ghost who’s definitely the kind of guy to fantasise about protecting you from danger

bf!simon who comes home in the middle of the night, in a mood, tired and angsty after a miserable deployment. his first instinct is to strip down and climb into bed behind you, mumbling gruffly, but you convince him to let you soothe his aching muscles. as he lays down on his front, you spread a little warm oil over his broad shoulders. using his ass as your seat, you tenderly knead and massage the oil into his back, relaxing him and releasing any knots of tension that he has… his back is so sore, poor thing, and he has a new scar down his left side. an injury he never told you about. he tries to apologise for not mentioning it, mumbling something under his breath, but it doesn’t really matter what he’s saying. your tender lips around the area of injury let him know that it’s alright.

bf!simon who intimidates everyone else as he walks down the street, 6’4" and dressed in all black, with a skull mask pulled down over his face. but not you. he’s wearing your hairband on his wrist.

it was tipping it down the day that you and johnny got married.

your beautiful dress, the intricate white lace that hung from you like silk, glistened. not from silver or gold, but from little droplets of water that ran down the back of your train, pooling and merging into one another along the way.

your hands were cold, they felt wet and solid and real as they clasped around your light bouquet. cool, not cool like ice but like faces coming in from the cold, finally home.

this was not at all like you’d planned - an outdoor wedding was a great idea, you’d agreed - lovely surroundings and plenty of room for your sister’s children (and your groom) to run around in. seems you’d neglected to plan for a natural disaster, or at least the closest thing to it west of glasgow.

despite the downpour, you embraced your new surroundings as you walked the path from your past to your future, up the makeshift aisle. little loose hairs were damp against your forehead, curling up a little in the wet. your cheeks and your face ached, wonderfully, splashed and sore but so happy to be here. and to see him.

standing there, grinning back at you, johnny. his cheeks were wet, just like yours, and you were sure he was thanking the lord for making the tears brimming in his eyes less obvious. that stupid mohawk - you don’t think he’ll ever get rid of it - all scruffed up from the damp and the way that he’s been running his hands through it incessantly, almost desperately, all morning.

to his left, your bridesmaids, and to his right, his three old friends in matching suits. one you don’t recognise, but through deduction it’s clear that he must be simon. no mask. never before have you seen the man’s face and it seems strange that he’d suddenly choose to flaunt it to your whole family - but he knew how much this meant to johnny.

"hello, bonnie," your fiancé coos, reaching out a much warmer hand to yours as you step up beside him. tenderly, he rubs his thumb over your knuckles, watching your eager eyes smiling as water droplets dance down your face.

"fuck, you’re cold," he laughs, talking under his breath. you can’t help but giggle. this is the man you love, this is the man you want to marry.

this was a little different i hope you guys liked it! heavily inspired by an insta reel i saw of a couple getting married in the rain but i lost it :(
