He should have expected this. Luffy was ( and would always be ) the purest definition of a goofball, but he supposed that was part of his charm. He was carefree and silly, and it was exactly what the cook needed at the moment, considering he was elbow-deep in a pumpkin and could feel nothing but slippery seeds and pumpkin guts coating his fingers.

“. . . You get credit for using a pumpkin, but the joke still sucks.”

Robin looked the boy up and down analysing his gaudy mask. Gold sparkles and red stones around the eyes openings, reddish plumes on a huge, lavish royal blue pirate hat, with golden arabesques drawn on it. Luffy's smile was gigantic, charming, so contagious and of course she knew it who was there. Anyone would be able to recognize him just by the scar on his left cheek. "Hmm I have no idea." She said between giggles with no intention of saddening her captain. "But with that fancy mask and hat, you can only be a great pirate."

Do you write fanfics like luffy x reader? Cus I have an idea!

Hiya! Sorry for a delayed reply @superson1cspeed but thanks for the ask :)

Frankly spoken I haven't written actual fanfics or something so far but for years I've been roleplaying Luffy in my other blog ( @luffyasksandanswers) and I still do every once in a while.

I'm more active in the main blog and write One Piece-themed ponders or share other OP-themed stuff whenever the inspiration hits. My replies and posts can take months, sometimes even years and I want to clarify that I'm not ignoring anyone on purpose, I'm just a bit air headed and can simply accidentally forget to reply or especially with roleplaying, it takes time to find the inspiration.

Anyway, feel free to share the idea either here or via message, take care, mate! :)

Hiya, mates and greetings from behind the scenes~!

Just wanted to pop by to tell that this blog has gone under small changes. I moved it from my roleplaying blog [@luffyasksandanswers​] to my main blog [@monkeydluffy19920​.

Reason for all this is simple, it’s easier to manage the side blog from more active account and having not to jump between browsers or having the log in and log out-circus. So, if you’re still up for Loaf’s mind blowing shower thoughts and dumb puns, you’re still in right place (the only difference is the icon of the)  and this turned accidentally into a shameless self promo *laughs*

He wasn’t there when his insatiable captain snuck into the kitchen, but he had a feeling Luffy would find his way there in sooner or later. And when he did, he would find not one generously stacked plate of cookies, but two. Each had a note card leaned against it, his hand writing crisp and clear.

One read: ‘These are for the rest of the crew! DO. NOT. TOUCH. I mean it, Luffy!! I’ll kick your ass if a single sprinkle is out of place!’ The other had a significantly lighter tone: ‘I know you’re probably going to try to sneak something when I’m not looking, so I went ahead and made you a whole plate just for you. Merry Christmas, Captain.’

Whether or not Luffy would listen was still up in the air, but couldn’t know until later.

Luffy has waited for this moment for a while. Patience was rewarded he spots the cook walking on the deck, so he sneaks behind him, with a huge frying pan he snatched from the kitchen earlier. Then he starts to repeat "Wok wok wok wok" while trying to keep up with the blond's speed.

Where Luffy’s patience had flourished, Sanji’s utterly withered.

The joke was clever, he’d admit that. Sometimes, he was caught off guard by how witty his captain could be. That appreciation for wordplay was rare from the cook and lasted for one, short lived second before irritation set in— surprise, surprise.

Teeth grinding together and the smoke from his cigarette doubling, Sanji tried to tolerate Luffy’s repetition. He breathed in deep, willing his tolerance to expand. Instead, it shriveled so rapidly that he didn’t realize he was kicking at his captain until after he started shouting.

“Shut up! Shut up, shut up, shut up! How about you turn your ass around and take a long wok off a short pier, huh!?”

All he could do was fold his arms over the kitchen counter and drop his head into them. He doesn't understand. Where did his hair-brained captain keep getting these ridiculous jokes, and why were some of them starting to amuse him?

He wouldn't let Luffy know. Part of the reason why he hid his face was to keep the rubber-man from spotting the hint of a smile that had appeared on his face.

"Get out of my kitchen."

The animal soon flew towards the forest to join its companions while it was observed by the ex-princess, who was lost behind in her thoughts. “They’re amazing.” She said, never turning her attention to the boy at her side.

Luffy notices that their chef is having a short break from his work so the captain once again sneaks to the kitchen. He snatches an avocado and rushes back. Then he waves the stolen fruit in front of Sanji and starts to make some sounds that are supposed to mimic Brook's guitar. Then he ends his show by yelling "Guac ‘n’ roll!"

Purely out of habit, Sanji grabbed for the stolen avocado. A scowl appeared, and on his tongue he felt the beginnings of a rant. If it weren’t for Luffy copying the sounds of guitar strings, he would have given his captain a taste of his sudden frustration.

“What the hell are you doing?”

The joke didn’t take long to land. The look of distaste on Sanji’s face deepened, and this time he did yank the avocado from Luffy. He looked as if he were going to complain, but a flicker of a smile toyed with the edge of his mouth. The cook tried to suppress it, but the withheld smile peeked out a fraction more. Avocado in hand, he pointed accusingly.

“I’ll let you have that one, but quit grabbin’ things from the kitchen without my permission!”

Basically he just wanted to give some impressive "friend's day wishes" but these kind of situations started from a random idea always whispered for trouble.

“Alright, we’re not gonna do that.” He stopped the rubber-man quick as he could, snatching both lighters from him before those hands of is could become black with char. As fascinating as it would have been to witness Luffy writing with fire, the idea of his friend coming to harm didn’t make it worthwhile. “If you wanna write somethin’, get a stick and do it in the sand. At least that way Chopper won’t come screamin’ at me for letting you get away with it.  .  .”
