Dude. When I saw the update on 'Love that bites' I was stoked! I absolutely love the way you write Dracula! Can't wait for more. On another note, do you think dracula is someone to fall in love at first site? If so, what would draw him in? I'm a sucker for powerful men who absolutely love their spouse but hates/tolerates everyone else.
Sorry for taking so long to respond to this one, but i am glad you are enjoying it!
As for love at first sight, maybe? Perhaps more love at first meeting. With how he acts around Lisa in the anime at least, you can practically see the moment he likes her.
Lisa’s first impression leaves a mark, which I think laid the ground work for him to fall very quickly.
Probably someone who doesn’t kiss his ass, but is still respectful and open minded about him would be enough to at least catch his attention.
After centuries of being the King of the Night, I imagine it gets boring when everyone grovels at your feet. Or tries to kill you for being ‘evil’, or for your place in the supernatural hierarchy. Or just thinks lesser of you for being inhuman.
He won’t take disrespect, but he can appreciate someone who has an outlook on life most humans, and frankly, vampires do not.
He is at heart a scholar, after all.
And true! I adore the powerful/dangerous men love and protect their spouses. How how they burn everything around you just to keep you warm and safe. Its a classic.
One that Dracula fits into perfectly. How he would keep you close, and be sweet to you when he barely tolerates the rest of the world.

"Ontario's delay-ridden Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) is prioritizing applications from landlords asking for above guideline rent increases until the end of the year, according to a memo obtained by CBC Toronto.
An LTB spokesperson confirmed the plan to focus on above guideline rent increases (AGIs) and previously adjourned matters because they make up a large proportion of the board's aging caseload.
"Focusing on these applications will help ensure that the oldest applications get scheduled and heard as a priority, as the LTB continues to find solutions to address service delays," said Janet Deline, in a statement.
Stakeholders on both sides of the landlord-tenant relationship are criticizing the move. They told CBC Toronto prioritizing AGIs puts the interests of corporate landlords ahead of tenants already facing sky high rents, and small landlords in debt from unpaid rent because of months-long delays at the LTB.
'It makes corporations richer,' tenant says
"You're pushing through stuff for corporations, instead of pushing through stuff for people," said Sharlene Henry, a tenant in Toronto's Weston neighbourhood.
"It makes corporations richer, while people — be it they're poor, they're working class, they live on fixed income — struggle more.""

Omg i’ve missed them 🥲 *rare egmont appreciation post*
Look we all love to hate on Egmont’s pocket stories because they’re usually terrible. But I can’t be the only one who has genuinely missed them the last few months. When we say we’d rather have the Italian stories, we mean the new long saga’s. Not gag stories from 5 years ago. And I’d rather take an Egmont comic than 3 short sleep inducing mid Italian stories.
When an Italian comic is bad, it’s really really boring. When an Egmont comic is bad, it’s absolutely terrible, but miles more entertaining.
And it just has a certain charm to it you know. Egmont is able to make stuff that Panini would not dare to publish. When they brought back Mad Ducktor last year? That was crazy! He was completely out of character and the story made zero sense, but who dares to reuse a character that hadn’t been seen in a decade and then completely misinterpret everything? Only Egmont could do that. This sounds like an ironic compliment but I mean it. Because “The other side of me” is a terrible comic. But fuck me man it was funny. I was genuinely entertained. At the end of the day I had fun.
Egmont you guys are also the only place where we can get new 3 tiered comics that feel traditional. For example Italy has modernized themselves away from Martina traditions of excessive violence. But Egmont is still holding that tradition up. Together with that certain flavour of politics and social commentary. Egmont is the only one that delivers it in that certain way that just makes me feel nostalgic. and i need that in my pockets too man
Then the crazy stuff: Mickey talks with the dead, Scrooge joins a cult, Donalds dog gets replaced by an alien… You immediately know where that comes from.
Egmont pocket comics are iconic and I can’t miss them no matter how bad they might be. This was 4 pockets in a row with no new Egmont stuff and I couldn’t handle it man. I was starting to think we might never see TNT again. You see what this shit does to your brain? Missing TNT???
And hey. Sometimes they deliver genuine bangers. A gal for Gladstone, Dialing for disaster, Origins of a sorceress… The next masterpiece could be right around the corner.
Massimo Fecchi has gone to Italy and Flemming Andersen is drawing 4 tiered comics much more often. Egmont 3 tiers are gonna be rare. But please never stop making them.
Okay that was it back to hating
