sorry but saying that the accessibility needs of mentally disabled people are just preferences or about "comfort" is blatantly incorrect. if i can't enter a building because the bright lights and loud noises would send me into a meltdown, then i can't enter the building, and that's not less important than me not being able to enter a building because it's not wheelchair accessible. if you genuinely think that mentally disabled people aren't really struggling, and that it's okay to mock their very real concerns, then that just shows that you've been refusing to listen to their experiences. do better or shut the fuck up.

I've been doing official content archiving since I was 11 #(because that's the very specific kind of mental illness I have) #and let me tell you that the quality of web search and especially reverse image search only got worse– #in a way that is very evident and noticeable. things i am thinking about... the way turlough talks to ileana both out of Jealousy and, i fear, bc he actually believes that the doctor might leave someone (him) behind if they make the wrong choice. how long have they been travelling together in planet of fire when he sabotages the tardis to stop the trion ship signaling & then blatantly lies to the doctor’s face about it? because he still can’t say anything abt his past? boy he FORGAVE you for the black guardian thing. he keeps choosing you even though he knows you’re a coward & a liar & a sneak. what are you still so ashamed of?? why are you running??? AND THEN! when he is forced to tell the doctor a very limited (& possibly sanitized?) summary of his past, he leaves even though he doesn’t want to go. do you think he’s preempting the doctor???? leaving so the doctor won’t tell him to? god. i know i’m way extrapolating here but it would explain why it literally looks like he’s walking off to the gallows even though he says the words ‘my exile has been rescinded’

omg ok hi hi hi how do you display your plushies?? I used to have this shelf for them but eventually it was too small for how many there was so I got a toy hammock (unfortunately means some of them are hidden but such is fate)

!!!! Ok well in the past I've sort of had to hide them away or find somewhere on my bed or shelves for them! At some point I had a spare mattress laying beside my bed and I'd line a lot of them along that.

But recently I got a toy hammock, I had it up before but since moving I haven't had the motivation to put it back just yet, but I kept a lot of smaller/more 'vertical' plushies in it, then some bigger ones up the back so I could still see 'em!

But now, I have a whole bunch of space above my cupboards, like, it lines the whole wall, so they're being lined up along there!! It's just thick enough for two layers, one of big fellas and one of small/medium!!

#Due to space constraints in previous places I also considered other options #Which included hanging them up on a string via clothespegs #I have a friend who has all ocean themed ones and hangs them from a net on his roof! It's so cool #There's also those little mesh material 'shelves' you can buy to hang from the roof if that interests you! #And honestly there's nothing stopping you from having multiple toy hammocks skdjskdj #I am SHAKING YOU!!!!! i’m sure you’ve talked about it before but you expand more on your thoughts about talia & jason and how their relationship would be? what are some positives and negatives their interactions would bring? (your talia metas are everything)

thank you! on talia's end i think a lot of it would come down to balance and restraint. because there are a lot of unpredictable factors at play and on top of it her tutelage of jason coincides with her last years under her father's thumb so there's parts of herself that she's beginning to close off out of self preservation and exhaustion. that's why i like the placement of under the hood right after the close of lexcorp era even if it obv wasn't intended because it puts her in a place comparatively to take all of the risks after a year of complete physical and emotional isolation. and even then i feel like there would still be a lot of restraint because of the guilt over her part in jason's various massacres. i could see her reprimanding him but in a very cautious and empathetic way so as not to set him off the way bruce would if he was the one lecturing him. so like.. not quite in the realm of mothering but maybe teetering on the edge of it. and i do think talia would try to maintain some distance out of respect for his history. which may or may not fuck with jason emotionally because as possessive as he is of his own grief i do think he'd long for even the smallest semblance of what he thinks he could get. like guarded as he is he would certainly soften to her over time and abide by her guidance even if he didn't necessarily verbalize the fact. i don't really know that i'd see any negatives between them like at worst it would be awkward and strained because he wouldn't be sure of how to place her in his life and she wouldn't want to overstep

#like on one hand i know a lot of people hate shoving talia into that motherhood role at any available opportunity and i do too to be clear #but ig i wouldn't think of this as exemplary of typical 'motherhood' as we know it. it would be motherhood in the sense that she would #come to love him as if he were her own. and in the sense that you could draw parallels between jason entering bruce's life at a time #when he was incredibly lonely and despairing and entering talia's life when she was feeling similarly as well #so there would be that shared experience between her and bruce of jason filling an empty space #but i don't think she would be outright parenting him. although there could be an unspoken truth between them that he would allow her to #eventually. because he would trust her enough by that point to listen to almost anything she said #and he would see her sorrows too and he would care about them because he knows no one else has #that's where i would bring in damian. i think he would help her get him back because he would know how much it means to her #as someone who's been through that situation in the reverse of losing the opportunity to have a relationship with your child #outbox

I dressed up as a light rail train from my local transit agency for Halloween and someone took a picture of me during my morning commute and sent it to them. Little did I know that my transit agency posted the pic, and across platforms it’s gotten over 1.8k likes?!? Multiple people stopped me on my way home to ask for pictures or talk to me cause they’d seen me online. What a weird day.

What was I doing on my phone? #I was studying for my transportation operations exam. literally caught me on transit dressed as transit studying transportation #overall the costumes reception has made me very happy and to me highlights exactly what I love about Transit. #because of my costume I’m making people smile and I’m getting to talk and connect with folks around me #many of whom I’ll never see again. my costume is helping connect my community and build bonds between us #that’s what transit does! when you share that space with other people and talk to them you are connecting with people in your community #people who you likely won’t ever see again! but those conversations still matter and are good!! #they connect us all to each other #everyone is a neighbor on transit. we are all connected on transit. we are all transit users. #and that’s a community that stretches into almost every other subcommunity in the community at large #transit connects people - not only from place to place but also with each other #googoogajoob
