Enemies to Semi-Lovers
what would have happened if Big Shot wasn’t made by Disney and was made by someone who isn’t afraid to give us the enemies to friends to lovers romance between louise and ava.
tag squad: @swifteforeverandalways
Louise was in the gym after practice, practicing. She needed to be on top of her game. Nothing and nobody was going to throw her off her game, especially some aggressive washed-up volleyball player.
As she was practicing, she heard the gym doors open and shut. Assuming it was Coach Korn, she didn’t say anything and kept shooting. “You have got to be kidding me.” She heard a familiar voice behind her. “Ava, to what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you longer than I have to?” Louise fake smiled. “Are you stalking me?”
“Like you’re that important to stalk Gruzinsky.” Ava scoffed as she grabbed a ball. “What are you doing?” Louise questioned. “Practicing. If you did that more often, you might not actually suck.” Ava shot back. She really wanted to practice. It was either the gym at school or drills on the bra with her mother. She’d rather be in the gym arguing with Louise.
Louise restrained herself. “So if you don’t mind, I’m going to be here practicing while you stand there, gaping like a fish out of water. Ava smiled, albeit fake, and started to practice. Louise rolled her eyes.
The two girls started practicing alongside each other, coexisting quite peacefully. Until they weren’t.
“Screw you Louise.” Ava shoved Louise away when she brought up Ava biting Naomi Osaka. “Fuck you Ava.” Louise retaliated when Ava brought up her dad’s arrest. They took digs at each other, getting closer until they were inches apart from each other.
“You better watch your mouth Navarro.” Louise said, vaguely threatening. “What are you going to do Gruzinsky, make me?” Ava taunted, a pout forming on her lips. Tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
Louise let her eyes flash down to Ava’s lips, an idea forming in her head. “Cat got your tongue Louise?” Ava taunted, also looking at Louise’s lips.
Louise grabbed Ava by the shoulders and pushed her into the gym wall. Ava started to speak but was cut off by Louise pressing her lips against hers. Ava responded, kissing back with just as much enthusiasm.
The kiss was rough and fueled by hatred. They both tried to take control but in the end, Louise had taken over. Ava’s hand went to her waist so Louise pinned them to the wall, smirking at the little gasp that Ava made.
The kiss grew more hungry as Louise started to kiss down Ava’s neck. “Come on Gruzinsky, don’t get shy on me now.” Ava quipped, trying to ignore how her voice hitched as Louise kissed over a spot near the base of her neck.
Louise took notice of this and to kiss that spot repeatedly. Ava made no remarks as she focused on not making any sounds. “Come on Navarro, don’t get shy on me now.” Louise taunted, parroting what Ava said, before starting to suck on that spot.
Ava couldn’t stop the small mewl from escaping her lips. “If I knew this would shut you up, I would have done this a while ago.” Louise muttered against Ava’s neck before separating herself.
The spot on Ava’s neck was red and stood out like a sore thumb. Ava was red in the face and disheveled, different from her usual calm and collected look. Louise smirked.
“Bye Ava.” Louise waved as she walked away to grab her bag and leave the gym. Ava stared at her shocked and slightly angry. One thought ran through her mind.
What just happened and why didn’t she hate it?

So….I ship Louise and Ava now. I’m just a sucker for enemies to friends to lovers and the way Louise and Ava start out butting heads really just makes me ship them.

Princess Ana Gruzinskaya Golitsyna (1763—1842) was a Georgian royal princess of the Bagrationi dynasty of Mukhrani branch.
She was the daughter of Prince Alexander Bagration-Gruzinsky, grandchild of Prince Bakar of Kartli and great-grandchild of King Vakhtang VI of Kartli. Farewell, Big Shot
Well, hello everyone- though this is mostly directed to other fans of this show. So, I recently found out that the show Big Shot on Disney Plus was cancelled. It took me a few days to digest the news.
To be honest, I'm still processing it. I just feel like- ugh, I don't know if I'll be able to explain it with words. I'm disappointed. I'm actually not super angry- only the tiniest bit, but more sad overall.
I'm sad because I'll never see more of this show again. I'm sad that it's yet another show that won't get to continue. I'm sad that I will never get to see this team of girls together anymore.
I may have to stop soon or I might actually get too depressed thinking about it.
This show was one of those shows I just gave a chance on, but it turned out to be one of my absolute comfort shows.
And it hurts when your comfort show has been taken away. I'm just really sad. I really am going to miss the show so so much.
As for reasons to why it was cancelled, I did try to look that up and most of what I could find is that it was just a mix of Disney stuff. Personally, I just don't get why they always have to drop the shows no one is watching. I mean, I guess for marketing purposes I can acknowledge it.
But WHY? Why does TV only have to care about ratings and how many views they get? Hopefully someday this kind of thing is able to end. Because I personally think it's wild that someone sacrifices continuing a show for the sake of views.
If the creators, directors, producers, WHATEVER, started to really LISTEN to their fans, and take into account that there ARE actually people saying "this show means so much to me" or "the message and story of this show has inspired me" then wouldn't that make a HUGE difference?
Sigh. Anyway, I know I'm only just one fandom nerd in the world and no one will read this, but I will use my voice here. Because THIS is what I believe in.
Alright, I kind of diverted from Big Shot, but I'll turn back to it now, sorry.
What I am going to miss the most is definitely the team. The Westbrook Sirens are going to be missed every damn day by me. Just seeing each character's dynamics with each other was one of the best parts of this show. All the girls had GREAT dynamics with each other.
And to the actresses, I really hope they have successful futures after this because they deserve it.
I'm just going to miss it all so much.
We'll get to never continue so many interesting storylines.
We'll never know if Olive would have ever come back to visit.
We'll never know more about Destiny's situation with her mother, aunt, or father. Or if she ends up with Trevor and that's eternally canon.
We'll never know if Louise comes back to visit the rest of the team. We don't know if she'll be with Nick- although I personally headcanon that as a NO (because Louise x Ava endgame)
We'll never get to see more of Mouse and Harper. This one hurts especially. DAMN YOU DISNEY!!! (In my headcanon, they're still dating after they graduate high school)
We'll never get to see what it's like for Ava being able to stay in California with the rest of the team. (Sara Echeagaray was ROBBED)
We won't get to see Samantha and Ava doing the peer support group together.
We won't ever see more Emma and Maryvn father-daughter moments.
And the most frustrating thing- WE'LL NEVER GET TO SEE MORE OF KATE!!!! KATE WAS ROBBED TOO. KATE NEVER GOT A LAST NAME. The only thing we got about her was that she moved from Australia.
We really could have had so much more.
Okay, I'm going to go now before I end up making this longer than necessary, or start getting super sad about this all.
Thank you, Big Shot. I'm glad I decided to give you a chance. This may be the end of the game for now, but I know I'm gonna see the Westbrook Siren girlies go on to do even better things. I'm really going to miss this show. Disney, you really had a hidden gem with this one. Goodbye, Big Shot.

Start of Something New
So I wrote this in like thirty minutes while at work. I binged all of Big Shot Season 2 today and found myself shipping Louise/Ava. Now I just need a ship name for them
It was a few days after graduation and Ava was at the court, shooting baskets. She had to admit, she enjoyed basketball more than she thought she ever would. Maybe even more than volleyball. Her teammates weren’t just her teammates, they were her friends. Ava dribbled the ball before shooting, easily making a basket. “So, you really are taking over my spot next year?“ a familiar voice called. Ava looked up and a smile crossed her face.
“What can I say, Gruzinsky. You’re leaving, someone has to take over,” Ava replied. Louise rolled her eyes fondly as she jogged up.
“If I recall correctly, I did score a basket on you,” Louise pointed out. Ava rolled her eyes back, though smiling.
“I was in a dress. And you got lucky,” Ava said. Louise couldn’t help but laugh.
“Hey, I was in a dress too!”
“Bet you couldn’t do it again,” Ava challenged.
“Bet I could,” Louise replied. Ava tossed her the ball.
“Then game on.”
Louise took the ball and dribbled a few times, Ava posting in front of her. The two girls were smiling, neither feeling much pressure. Louise faked a shot, Ava easily swatting the ball away.
“Thought you were supposed to be good, Gruzinsky,” she taunted.
“Just wanted you to lower your guard,” Louise replied as she faked right. Ava took the bait, moving right and allowing Louise to break left. The recent graduate made a run towards the basket, making an easy layup.
“Thought you were supposed to be good, Navarro,” Louise parroted what Ava had said.
“Oh it is on now!” Ava said as the two transitioned into a quick pickup game. By the end, it was Louise who had won.
“Good game, Navarro. Team is in good hands with you,” Louise said as she handed Ava a towel.
“Thanks Gruzinsky, and you better come to some games next year. Coach Korn will probably give you free tickets anyways,” Ava replied as she wiped the sweat off her face.
“I’m going to miss playing with you guys,” Louise admitted.
“Look at that, the untouchable Louise Gruzinsky actually has a heart.”
“Ha ha ha,” Louise said sarcastically.
“But in all honesty, I will miss you. I kind of wish we could’ve played together more,” Ava said.
“Wow, look at that. Ava Navarro has feelings,” Louise joked. Ava laughed at that, playfully shoving her shoulder.
“Don’t say that, it ruins my street cred,” Ava joked back. Louise rolled her eyes, though smiling.
“Hey, I gotta go. But see you around?” She said.
“See you,” Ava said before she took a deep breath and leaned in, kissing Louise. There was a moment of hesitation before Louise kissed back, her hand going around Ava’s waist. Ava pulled back.
“I’m sorry….I don’t….” Ava began to say when Louise shook her head.
“Don’t be sorry. Who’s to say I didn’t want that,” Louise replied before pulling Ava into another kiss.
