a thing i think is good to keep in mind, and this does not invalidate or diminish concerns about the state of art under capitalism or storytelling in mass media, is that, if you go out and snuffle around in the places in the world where the art that is further from your immediate line of sight dwells you will find enough interesting art to eat well in your mind for your entire life

yesterday, my best friend & i went on a journey to local comic book shops to find my cover (1:10) in the wild -- and we found it!! so exciting! we also saw the lovely Cover A (Min Ho Kim, right) and Cover B (Abigail Oz, left) as well. shoutout to the kind store employee who directed us to the section with "sonic and his assorted friends", a phrase i will absolutely start using from now on.
hope you all are enjoying Winter Jam! 🎤❄️✨

my dream would be to start a comics magazine that could host letters to creators, opinions and reviews, interviews with creators, promos for comics that aren’t getting much promotion, spotlights in indie comics and comics by marginalized folks, and a forum where people can just talk and send in letters
