GOLDEN EMPEROR AU - MASTERPOST

What is the Golden Emperor AU?

The GE AU is based on my headcannon of Wukong becoming the new emperor of the Celestial Realm after defeating Azure Lion, making Mk the new Monkey King.

Wukong is trapped in the Celestial Realm and can’t go to the other realms but, unlike the Jade Emperor, he really cares about everyone and tries to fix his mistakes.

Mk is now the Monkey King which means more responsibilities but he’s ready for it. After accepting his status as monkey demon, he’s gonna kick your ass. And he still finds time to work at Pigsy’s. Somehow.

What is the main story?

The story has main points which are my main comics, but there are little things that are not explained in them so I make some sketches about them

Ao Bing in LMK au:

Just finished Nezha (2019) to absorb lore + Ao Bing's beautiful face.

IN my ideal LMK verse version of the two; they used to be best friends but never really made up after the whole "I accidentally killed you + sacrificed myself to your father as payment"-thing.

Imagine the events of S3 in the Eastern Dragon Palace. Mei is running/sneaking around the palace to find the Map, and find a way to free the rest of the gang from the dungeons.

Thinking that the Map is being kept in the super-secure tower room, Mei breaks in...

And finds the supposed-to-be-dead "Third Dragon Prince of the Eastern Sea Ao Bing"?

Ao Bing, playing solitaire by himself: "Hi?" Mei: "Hi!" Ao Bing, sees Mei's sword: "Am I being kidnapped?" Mei: "No! I mean... do you want to be?" Ao Bing, joyfully: "Yes!!! My dad's been keeping me locked up here since I died that one time!" Mei: "Wow. That's a backstory! Wait, if you're Ao Guang's kid..." *gasp!* "That makes us great-great cousins!! You should totally come with us to reforge the Samadhi Fire!" Ao Bing: "I have no idea what that is, but it sounds so much fun! Should I tell my dad I'm going though? He'll probably say no." :( Mei: "Pssh! No. You're being "kidnapped" remember?" Ao Bing: "Oh! You're right!" :D *later in the van* Mei: "Hey guys, this is my cousin Bing. I'm kidnapping him but it's ok, he's cool with it." Ao Bing: "Hi!" The rest of the gang: ○_○ Nezha: 0_0 SWK: "I ain't even intervening. This is more chaos than I could ever cook up."

Ao Bing is a little flightly and aloof. Centuries kept in lockdown have made him ultra curious of the new world, and his snakey behind makes it difficult for him to blend in with a crowd.

But the relationship between him and Nezha is rocky at best...

Paralles to Sun Wukong and Macaque's own relationship too.

Nezha: "I'm sorry I just... it's just really hard for me right now, ok?" Macaque, annoyed: "Oh yeah. Tell me all about how Ao Bing's death was hard on you-" Nezha, crying: "I killed my best friend! And it was over something so stupid..." Macaque: *realising the similarities between Nezha & Ao Bing's last fight + SWK & Macaque's own in JttW* "Whoops. Opened that can of worms..."

Ao Bing and Macaque

So i have story planned for Ne Zha and Ao Bing, the premise is Ao Guang finds away to keep Ao bing back and keeps him locked up, till season 3 where Macaque destroys the place chasing Mk and the others for LBD. He meets the dragon prince and they become roommates, like Macaque drops him off in his apartment and is just like "wait here" while he handles his shit.

My favorite part of this Idea is Red Son discovers the dragon while visiting Macaque after LBD. He is close to Ne Zha so knows the whole situation between the two. And i thought of a small skit based off a meme:

Red Son:......whatcha got their uncle?

Macaque: *eating noodles with Ao Bing* Noodles.....

Red Son: w-wha......No! I was referring to the Third eastern sea dragon prince!!

Macaque: *glances at Ao Bing then Red Son* oh yeah.....this is Ao Bing.

Red Son: *hair sizzling* I know who he is! Why is he here!?!

Macaque: .......i stole him.....

Red Son: *glances at Ao Bing* are you ok with this?!

Ao Bing: *shrugs and continues eating his noodles* it's not to bad.

I was just scowling though Chinese Mythology on the Wiki as you do and I only just now figured out who Nezha was fighting. At first I thought it was Ao Guang but then I remembered the movie Nezha Reborn(10/10 movie I do recommend) and that isn’t Ao Guang its his third son Ao bing. So there “mystery” solved.

Oh yeah and for those who don’t know Nezha’s like 12 then and he killes Ao Bing soo yeah demon child. Love him tho

Just thinking back to season 4 of Lego Monkie kid.

Where Nezha, instead of Red Son gets taken by the scroll and now he has to not just face his tragic past. But also a ink version of himself. Who by the way really pushes Nezha to fight to his limit! Both Physically and mentally.

The ink monster drags up all of Nezha inner doubts, fears and the worst of all! His past mistakes while fighting. Like for exempel that" He should know he can never be able to mentor a dragon like Mei. Or even befriend her!"

It even cheats! Just when Nezha have the upper hand. The ink monster changes its form into a old yet familliar face. It had changed into The former third prince of the east sea and his first friend. Ao Bing. Who had the same terrified face when he killed him that awfull day.

-"After all! You are still the same demon child who killed your only friend"!

This is how far I have come with the idea. I would LOVE to hear your guys comment for this story or if I should change something?

And the reason why I made Ao Bing Nezha friend. Well it's because I was inspired by a different version of Nezha's story. And I also love tragic stories.

yes I am very excited for season 5

How do you think it's gonna start out? Would you prefer for it to be high stakes right away or low stakes but slowly building up to it?

If I had to choose to start season 5 I would say low stakes but slowly building up to it

Do you think we'd see any other JTTW characters in it, or maybe in later seasons?

I think that surely more jttw characters will appear as new characters or in flashbacks, personally I would bet that Erlang Shen could appear

What kind of character do you want to see in the next season, in terms of personality and role?

Ugh I have a very long list of characters I want to appear and now that you've asked I'm going to ramble on about it, bad luck for you

starting with the most probable:

The mayor

I want to know more about the character, what he was like before meeting LBD and being the mayor, getting to know his relationship with her in depth. Is he just a henchman or does he have his own motivations? what was he doing during Lady Bone Demon's confinement.

Erlang shen

I'm really dying to see what kind of character Lego Erlang Shen is, what kind of complex character he can be, will he be a villain, an antagonist or maybe an ally? Will being a demigod be important for his character? what will his relationship with Sun Wukong be like? They will be like sworn brothers or enemies

guanyin goddess of mercy

I really want to know what the lmk writers will do with Guanyin, how important his role would be in the series, taking into account his importance in Journey to the West, I think it would be great if it turned out that all this time Guanyin was secretly watching over MK and his friends helping them without them knowing. I mean, she always helped the pilgrims on their journey and could do the same for mk and his friends. I also wonder if his relationship with Red Son exists in lmk.

Ao bing

I really want Ao bing to appear, I don't care how or why. basically because I think it would be cool for the fandom to see that Monkey King isn't the only one with skeletons in the closet. It would also be interesting to see Nezha face someone from his past that he thought was buried and that he would never see again

Do you think we'd see any other JTTW characters in it

characters I want to see

Taibai Jinxing (Gold star of venus) I would really like him to appear to help the protagonists

Nezha's family I would like to see Nezha's family even if it's just in flashbacks, especially muzha and LI Jing

lady earth Flow I'm really curious to know what his design would be like in the series.

Jade faced fox although if she appeared I highly doubt that her relationship with the demon Bull King would be the same as in the novel

The ones that are least likely to appear but I want them to appear so bad:

Spindrax

I know the writers wrote it off for Strong Spider, but it would be great to see the spiders again. Maybe as an idea here the character of Spindrax wants to revive the spider queen or maybe avenge the spider queen, the writers could use to spindrax to show us spider queen's past and also give mei a badass biker rival (cough girlfriend cough)

Rumble & Savage

I know that many think that the macaque is practically redeemed, if they think that that is perfectly fine. but in my opinion I do not agree with that, because the basic thing in a redemption is that the character realizes his mistakes and repents of his bad actions, Yes, Macaque helped defeat the bad guys and everything. but he has no regrets for the damage he did to mk and his friends I thought it would be great for Macaque's future redemption arc to have him face his own past mistakes and what better way to do that is face the little versions of himself who want revenge of you and they won't hesitate to hurt your loved ones in the process just to see you suffer (cough karma cough)

Bone spirits

I really wanted to see Lady Bone Demon's army in the specials, They are literally the only villainous army not to make an appearance in the show and which I think is a big waste imagine that the mayor was not the only follower of lbd, if there were other followers and allies of her, plus it would be interesting to see more spirits or demons like LBD, besides I love his designs I mean who doesn't like skeletons with hoods.

She's a princess dragon,and according to the searches about her --

She's consider a dragon but her term of name stand out a dragon without horns,so it's that I forgot to add horns on her it's just her unique trait.

She's the daughter of the Dragon king of the southern sea dragon clan Ao Qin.Or else known as the red dragon People are going to get confused how She's a aquamarine color dragon and her father a red dragon,So uhm by the story telling and the movie according to Nezha 2019 film with Ao Bing,by the separation of two pearls,the spirit pearl that got given to Ao Bing,after Ao Bing death, the pearl got given to her when she was prepared for her ceremony of coming off age and I'm pretty sure around 12-15,as it was given as a gift from Ao Guang niece for her ceremony of age,so due to her dragon features not standing out as red but as a mere brown,the pearl she was passed from,gave her dragon features a aquamarine colored like her eyes,she's the apprentice of Nü Wa,since Nuwa is a goddess of the human kind and half snake,they have a related story of the searching I have been doing.

She's in fact related to Ao Bing and Ao Lie,cousins,and very distant related with Mei,being her great great great great great great thousand grand aunt..?..So about the first Nezha meeting by accident,she didn't even realize who he was until someone told her too,it was a awkward meeting for Jiao at least,I see their relationship growing mire by more as a couple---,I know some people seen Nezha as a child,but seeing the difference between him and the kids in the shows,he looks older and has a deep voice in my opinion to be consider a child in the show at least,but regard to people claiming him as a child,I keep my oc in a friendship zone with him,but in my Au at least I see them as crushing or in a talking stage/not consider as a couple still.

I will probably give her a description later on.
